In october of 2017 I had my kitchen refaced. They did an amazing job and I am very happy with the refacing and counter top work. My complaint is that when they came out to the house, they backed into my driveway and hit my side awning. Pictures were taken and telephone conversations were exchanged. The installer also took pictures and told me he was going to submit them and someone will get in touch with me to repair. The damage was minimal but still should have be addressed. No one ever got in touch with me and I am positive that no one would have if I didn't address it.in fact when I called, they told me that it was the first time they were aware of it and they would look into it. I did not hear back from them and then I contacted the women who originally helped me in beginning design the reface and she was able to get in touch with them and they did call me back to make an appointment. A week before christmas, I received a call from home depot interiors (Cleveland) saying that someone was going to come out and fix the awning that friday and asked if I would be okay with just a repair. I told him that I would be fine with a repair if it looks good. As of today, no one has shown up. I understand the weather has been cold and the holidays were here, but a followup would have been nice. The awning is tilted and I fear that with the snow fall that we have had, it will pull the awning away from the house and possibly tear down the siding it is attached to and I will then not be happy with just a simple repair. I have been playing telephone tag with them since october. Grant it is not a huge issue, but it is an issue that should be addressed from the moment it happened. That is called good customer service. I am and have been a customer of home depot and I paid a good amount of money to have my kitchen refaced. I enjoy shopping at home depot and have bought other items there but I am no longer going to shop home depot especially if this is how they treat their customers. If I could return my kitchen refacing I would. It is the principal of the matter.

I Called to Make An Appt for My Maytag Dishwasher (5year plan-03/21/15) And was told by Home Depot (HD) that Service would come to do the Repair on 01/02/18 from 10am to 2pm. I Called Today At 1240pm to Check the status of the Appt. I Was now informed that because of the holiday, the service company shut down their system and my Appt wasn't received. I Made the Appt with HD, Not the service company and why didn't anyone inform me.HD would Not take responsibility. I should've Of been told that a problem occurred cause I took off a day of work but Couldn't Get a courtesy call. I Was then told that eventually some time today, I would've probably been called. Really ? HD wasted my day for Absolutely nothing. Again, the Purchase of the DW And the protection plan was purchased at Home Depot But I Can't get a call back. Future purchases will not be made there cause it Ridiculous that a Customer can't get service that he paid for. Terrible Service.

Good morning, my name is Shawn Wallis and my wife and I purchased a kitchen set from your Zephyrhills, Fl location. A delivery of a stainless steel fridge, oven, dishwasher and microwave occurred on Saturday. Before installation began, my wife asked the two young spanish men if they were certified installers. They both said yes and they proceeded with the installation. Towards the end of the projects, one of the men needed to turn off the water to the dishwasher. The shut off valve was located next to the sink, but he refused to use the valve and insisted his worker go to the side of our house and use the valve there. With no experience in what he was doing, he insisted on breaking the valve and it immediately shut the water off to the house. They went to my wife and told her it was broken and they couldn't do anything about it. When my wife turned her back on them to investigate, they both packed up their remaining things and drove away. They left the old refrigerator in the kitchen and left a huge mess.
We called the local home depot at [protected])and with no help by Kathy (Store Manager), we were left to hire our own plumber and it cost me $550. The plumber stated that the valve was broken with blunt force going the wrong way and it needed to be replaced.
We were left with a huge refrigerator in the middle of our kitchen, so my wife and I had to move it into the garage. The installers were supposed to move it in the garage as instructed with a dolly, but since my wife and I had to move it, we scratched the tiles on the floor.
We are asking Home Depot to pay for all damage and call us to rectify this. We were told to call the GE installers to start a claim, but they have been no help. We were told to call tuesday (tomorrow). We still have the plan to call them, but we have been treated terribly since. I will say that Kathy the store manager has helped a little, but she was hugely unsuccessful getting a plumber out.

Very disappointed ! we tried to do everything while my husband was at home do to the Christmas vacations. To fix our living room and remodel a little our home. We got this roll today and this is what we got and we had to use it because my husband will be leaving soon and we took the last 3 rolls we where told they will not be getting supplies until 2 wks. After four years of punching in my pro rewards I'm starting to wonder when I would get a discount on anything? I'm a contractor and have spent many tens of thousands with you. Recently I've been asking your employees about this, and they told me that pro rewards applies to paint. So I bought my exterior paint today. Spent over $1100 and got $2.15. that is .01 percent discount. I will never punch in my number again, and the interior paint will be bought elsewhere in protest. I will keep buying materials from you, but I have a very bad taste in my mouth about your gimmick s. You need to illiminate your phone rewards

I will never again buy anything from Home Depot. I ordered a custom garage door. I got a message to call back and pay extra charges, and that the door will not be scheduled for installation until I do. I called, was on hold for thirty minutes, was put on hold again, and the person picked up after another ten minutes and hung up. I am now on hold for 45 minutes and counting. A person answered and put me on hold again. This is service? My time is valuable too.

I asked who his he and was told his name is Gordon in the door and hardware section. I was holding a combination lock set and dead bolt Kwikset "smartkey" re-key technology, priced at $65.92 !
I was going to buy it and he said why do you want that, we have another brand that is a better guarantee.
I was already to buy, because my house key is not going to work with the brand he was suggesting. I asked him if he could help me rekey the lock.
He said no, I don't do that, you can go into hardware and find someone else to help you. So I felt it is the day before Christmas everybody needs a job so I let it pass. I have had dealings with Gordon in the past and he is not what you might call user friendly, he likes to sit at the desk, knowing that I had to shop elsewhere.
My total sales in that store for this week exceeded three hundred. Someone needs to go in and see there reaction to Gordon.

To whom this may concern. I live off grid and generators are part of my life. Recently I purchased a duromax 12000 eh dual fuel generator. its claim is that it will run at 50% load on propane for 20 hours on a gas grill tank. That statement is a complete lie. I bought this unit specifically for its run time on propane. I even contacted someone to make sure I wasn't over drawing the unit. they claim that 50 % of the load is around 20 amps. so if that's the case I set my charge at 15 amps and I keep getting around 4 to 5 hrs on a gas grill tank! I am so freakin mad I want to explode. It took me almost a year to save up enough money for this machine. someone needs to get the information correct on their run time. if I could sue someone I would. I'm holding all my colorful words for this situation to myself. this is blatent false advertising. The generator itself seems to be a great machine. I feel like I have been scammed.

I returned some fence n post that is not being used to Florin road Hone Depot. Return dept name Mecaila, Mecaila tell me that some money will go back to HD credit card and the rest is will be cash refund. I understand that HD has certain policy rules. I ask her nicely to provide that return policy to me and she give an attitude and say that if i dont understand then she will repeat slowly to me. I fine that because im Asian and she has to say that to me. CS like her need to be fired. I request for Manager because of the racists n the return policy rules. Manager Don tell me to call the corporate for the copy of return policy. That is just planed stupid.

I am severely disappointed in your Home Depot Direct Delivery service. I purchased a new fridge on 12/4 with an expected arrival date at my home on 12/11. Reasonable. What has not been reasonable is that I have now been rescheduled twice. Once for 12/15 and again yesterday for 12/20. This is unsatisfactory. I went up the Flower Mound, TX location yesterday and was helped by Ron, Donna and Carol who were most helpful and apologetic they were even able to get me a loaner fridge that Was delivered yesterday. But the Delivery representatives don't offer empathy, or reason or concern that it is 9 days from Christmas, I have family coming in from out of town and I still don't have a new fridge that I paid more than $4000 for. I want an immediate resolve to my problem. I want my fridge here on Monday and not a day later or I may just return it and stop shopping there altogether. Please be advised, the store had no problems. They are great. But the delivery service is awful and I want an answer as to why my fridge has now taken 12 days to be delivered with no guarantee of when it will be delivered.

delivery services - products never delivered
My delivery was scheduled for LAST week (12/9) but they never showed up nor called to say that they were not going to be coming. The delivery was scheduled for today(12/15) in the morning. They did not show. I called Home Depot and the lady on the line said "you should be happy I even picked up the phone". Im sorry lady but that is your job. I finally got connected with someone else who told me that the delivery will be done by 5pm. No one showed up. When I call Home Depot they put me on hold for over 10 minutes. This is ridiculous. Not only is my construction now backed up but I had to take time to call back and forth and get this sorted out. All while dealing with RUDE customer staff. I will not be ordering anything from these stores again. Seriously if you want your items to come in on time and you dont want to deal with rude people shop anywhere else. This place does not know how to run a business.
Home Depot told me in my complain that I should just return the product since I’m so unhappy with their service. Won’t be shopping there again.

I recently purchased a product that not only provided photos of what I was allegedly purchasing but even included in the description the bench and storage, which led me to believe the whole bottom half of what was shown was included, NOT sold separately. When I called they argued with me that even though it was in this pictured and did not say sold separately it is. I was also told it showed up in the "frequently bought together" section when I checked out, which was NOT true. I decided to purchase this product from home depot because I felt they are a reputable company and instead the advertisement was not only misleading but dishonest. Now I have to start all over and can't get a refund for approximately two weeks!

I called about a problem i was having with my LG double oven. The person i talked to made me an appointment for December 14. Between the hours of 1-5. I received a confirming email from Home Depot on my email.
When i called the repair company(A&E) they said they did not have knowledge
of any appointment. I missed 2 1/2 hrs of work to come home for the appointment. The lady i talked to, a rep. for A&E when she heard i was angry, she conveniently found an appointment for tomorrow from 1-5.
I am not happy and very disappointed with the service. Is this what i can expect IF, i ever decide to purchase anything from you again? I paid your asking price and purchased an extended warranty! Is this what i can expect?
Frustrating as it may seem, it was nice of A&E to get you scheduled for tomorrow. Sometimes it's just better to look at the positive and not the negative.
vinyl decking purchase
In October this year, 2017, I had a contractor tear down our existing deck and rebuild one using trex boards and vinyl rails and posts. I purchased all materials from Home Depot in Garner, NC. Ultimately, I over purchased and tried to make a return of all the unused materials.
When I arrived at the Home Depot, I had lost my receipt and thus the girl assisting me advised that I would have to settle for a store credit. No problem!
However, when she tried to process the refund to a store credit, it was declined by some sort of automated system. I was given a phone number to call to discuss the matter, but the person on the other end of the line was thoroughly unhelpful and argumentative. I asked for escalation, and was refused. I spoke to the store manager on duty and was told there was nothing that could be done.
The end result was that I had to haul over $800 worth of merchandise back out of the store and reload it into my truck. I was basically accused of theft because I lost a receipt.
I was perfectly ok to follow Home Depot's rules of returns and accept the store credit, knowing that I had lost my receipt.
As of today, I will shop anywhere BUT Home Depot for my needs!
Let this be a warning! Home Depot does not honor it's own policies!
sales pitch for their epoxy grout.. us-installation # [protected]
I am just wondering if you know that the people US-Installation hires, try to undercut your sales to your customers by telling them that the grout you sold them leaves to much haze, and want to install their epoxy grout for $300 cash and have me return yours back to the store. I am 80 years old and I did not complain the last floor you guys did for me in which the guy cleaned up a little and than told us to finish it off the next day. If these installers are going to leave me with the job of cleaning the tile before I can have the furniture put back there will be hell to pay. I use you Home Depot because I expect more from an established company than the rag tag of hiring contractors, this company in Venice rarely gets a review about 1 star?. They are still laying the floor so I do not want this to interfere with it before it is complete, they tore out the molding and were going to replace it with what He wants to use after I return the 1/4 molding you delivered to my home that I am ok with and agreed to pay for that. But he said he do it for nothing if I use their grout Epoxy instead of yours. I did not appreciate that his presentation got my wife to agree and I waited until they left to explain to her the problems that could occur if we went with these out of town workers suggestions. That is it please keep me safe until they are finished grouting and cleaning the floor and put my furniture back.

The machine was delivered on December 11, 2017
To my surprise the team refused to install dishwasher, saying that the could not connect it to my house' water pipes. They explained to me, that I need to hire plumber to replace some parts to make them suitable to new installation kit. I ask them to do it, i said I would pay for that. They answered, that they do not have plumber license.
Please explain to me, why people who suppose to makes installation do not have plumber's license and created for me big problem to find plumber, to pay addition money - big headake for me, 76 old lady.
because you wont need to be a plumper to install a dishwasher...it sounds like you have old pipes or missing or corroded valve they asked you to get replaced. I'm amazed how you are upset that they asked responsibly to not accepted money under the table for work they are not qualified to do

I purchased a washer on 11/27/2017. Delivery was confirmed for 12/12/2027 as that was the earliest Homedepot could do. After numerous calls and confirmation I was told it was being delivered at 10:00 pm I was called and told it was not and there was nothing that could be done poor customer service I paid a plumber to be here and took off of work . Sherri at the delivery company told me they were delayed due to snow, we had no snow the warehouse is only 45 minuets away from us where the appliance was coming from.
For any deliveries (appliances, electric, etc.), it's always best to wait until you have the item before scheduling someone to install it. Any unforeseen delay can occur and waiting to schedule these services can save you money.
It's a little difficult to understand the full complaint as there is a lot of run on sentences. If there was a problem with weather, I can't blame them.

Hello, I am sending this correspondence regarding my lack of quality customer service experience today. I called the customer service line 2 weeks ago regarding a lost card and was told for security that a block would be placed on my account and that I would receive a replacement card within 7-10 days. Its been two weeks so I called today only to be on the phone for 20 mins+ to be told that I have to physically go into the store to show id to then have another card mailed to me. The initial rep I spoke with today repeated the same thing 4-5 times about I have to go into the store first..so I asked could he see WHEN the card was mailed and he said he couldn't. I then asked to speak with a manager, put on hold for 5 minutes for a supervisor to come on the line and repeat the same details and she also could not confirm when the card was supposedly mailed. Then was told due to the block placed on the account I would have to go into the store FIRST before a card could be mailed. I asked well why would a block be placed on the account and then told a card would be mailed. She stated that she would have to speak with the initial rep to see why there was miscommunication. However, as the customer I shouldn't have to jump through hoops to simply get a replacement card. Sounds like it was an error on the initial rep to place a block on my account and then confirm a card would be mailed. Due to the lack of consideration and care from the tone of the reps today I chose not to continue to due business with Home Depot and requested my account to be closed and she gleefully was able to assist me with closing my account immediately but couldn't provide the simplest assistance in getting a replacement card mailed out to me. The actions should be in reverse but Home Depot has lost a customer and wanted to send this message to take in consideration moving forward with how NOT to treat customers with all the competition that is out here today. Thank you.

I was at your concordville, pa store on friday night about 7:30 pm and i had the rudest cashier, she used profanity with me, i ask to speak to a manager regarding her behavior she told me no one was available to hear my concerns, i come in that store very often & everyone is friendly and nice but her, she is an african american lady that was on the same register as a young man, before i left i ask for the store manager name she claim she didn't know it. I didn't even purchase anything because she was so nasty. I will never go to that store again if i have to deal with a rude cashier that home depot let get away with talking to customer in such a mean demeanor

They delivered our stove and right after they left my husband saw that it was level. Upon checking he saw leg was bent. Went outside to catch delivery truck they were pulling away so he called them and they said they had to go to next delivery and they would call back. Never did. Went to store they gave us a number to call. For 3 days we have tried to reach them to no avail. Very very poor service . I would not want to do business with them again after all this.
