Great Clips poor management customer service

Hi my name is Matt Lawrence
I was in great clips in bolder colorado on table masa
I am new to the area and wanted to find a great clips cause I've always had great experience there in Texas
However the other location was really busy so I went to the other location on table masa plaza
When I had walked in there around 12:30 or so I had noticed that the manager there wasn't happy and was screaming and yelling at a stylist I don't know if they new I was standing there in the lobby
However I felt sorry for that employee being talked to that way by management
She was cussing at this employee saying I'm the manger and I'll do as I please and so on and so forth I believe the other gentleman that came in had heard it as well and had told me that's the way she is so I assumed he knew her
I thought to myself I do not want to do business with a company that allows that kind of management
If she's willing to talk to employees that way how does she really talk to customers

Great Clips poor customer service

I brought my son in to have his haircut at the Great clips in 1009 Stadium Dr Ste 104, Wake Forest, NC 27587

A lady named misty had an attitude and was getting frustrated. I am not happy with the service I recieved. Another lady had to come over and take over cause Misty walked away. When i first i arrived, she seemed unhappy, no smiles or hello or anything. I really think she showed poor customer service. Day of visit was 6-2-19. My son name is Andres Martinez. Age of child 3. I do believe that is not nice behavior to be around a child.

Great Clips stylist cutting my expensive necklace chain when trimming my neck after haircut.

On March 7, 2019 I had my haircut at the Great Clips, Barlow Plaza, Rochester, Mn 55901. The stylist was trimming my neck after the initial hair cut and cut my expensive chain around my neck. I told her right away when I hear the cut and took it off and showed her. She never responded about and even mentioned to the checkout person and neither seemed to care about it. I sent a message to the corporate office of Great Clips and was told that all the stores were owned as a franchise but they would contact the manager to call me.
The manager did call me and stated that the stylist was new and they were sorry but did not offer any type of reimbursement or even free haircuts. They hope I could get it fixed. So I gave up and never will go back to a Great Clips unless this is resolved.
My daughter was telling the story to her Great Clips stylist at another store and she said that I should not give up and keep trying to get some results and that the situation was unacceptable and should be corrected. I purchased a new chain like the original one which cost me $130.00.
I hope something will be corrected soon.

Great Clips unethical behavior

I made an appointment online for a haircut at the shop located at 40405 Winchester in Temecula, Ca.There were 2 stylist there.the first came up to the counter, and ask "did you check in online hon?I said yes and please donot call me hon.I consider this name to be condescending and humiliating, her reply was ok, no apology.I am a senior citizen, you should call me mam, or refrain from addressing me.I think all customers should be treated as such, regardless of their age, it shows respect.So, what she does is call another stylist, who was standing with her, when this happens.She said, you help her, so this person said the exact same words to me, how can I help you hon?she then ask for my name, and she was so rude.I realize this was intentional and racially motivated.They were saying to me, you donot deserve our respect, go to your own shop.They are ignorant and unprofessional.I will not go to this shop again.This incident happened today between 1 and 2 P.M.

I see trying to submit a legitimate concern of another paying customer of GreatClips is treated as nothing short of a joke. Regardless of what this lady thinks, its being played out to open public scrutiny. I see the arrogance dripping from the landing page of this business. Great business model, but the ivory tower of Executives continues to take from the masses without any control of true customer service. Fricken 5 stars to "the Man"!

Great Clips questionable procedure during my haircut

This was my third trip to Great Clips in Lake Wales, FL., April 18, 2019. Every visit I just received a haircut, actually a trim was wanted. First hair trim was so-so; second visit was almost perfect (couple of small problems); third visit was a disaster. The hair trim was close to a butch (I'm 74 years old and my forehead hair is rather thin, so I don't like it cut real short), but the major problem was the stylist, Jennifer, shaved the hair on my face below my sideburns. I was horrified; will this hair come back in stiff and dark like whiskers or what will I have. I'm not happy at all and I don't know what to do. If the hair does come in dark, I guess I'll have to have it shaved everytime I get a haircut or sooner (I usually trim my neck inbetween cuts because it looks shaggy). So would probably have to do the same with my face.
I never thought I would be shaving my face, but guess I won't have a choice, right? Is it normal procedure to shave a woman's face, especially without asking them before doing it. I don't have a desirable resolution of my complaint, possible haircuts/trims and face shaving the rest of my life. I don't know, I just know I'm very upset about the incident and I don't know if I'm going to return or not. PLEASE let me know your company policy on this procedure I had done. Thank You.

You complaint and worries don't even make sense. The hair is not going to grow back any different. Depending on the cut you could get extra hair shaved off. You are making a mountain out of a mole hill. You are choosing to believe in myths and old wives tales

Great Clips online check-in

I always check-in online. I did so today and went to the salon. When I checked in it said 0 minute wait. When I arrived all chairs were full. No biggie. I understand they will do a walk-in prior to me arriving as an online check-in. Note I was #1 on the online check-in monitor. After sitting there for 10 minutes, a lady came in and talked to one of the employees telling her she did not check-in online. Five minutes later they call her back for her haircut.
Why did I check in online only to be ignored?
I walked out and didn't bother to stay and get my hair cut. I'm not sure if I'll go back! Getting a decent haircut is hit-or-miss, and I typically have to re-cut my hair when I get home anyway.

Great Clips great clips

There is a ganster mantality there. Our regional manager supports theft, and drug distribution from the shop. Employees are scared of driveby shooting. The franchisee refuses to listen, or believe employees. Great Clips corporate office refuses to be involved. They keep saying there is nothing they can do. This corporation claims no responsibility for their brand, and are only there to reap profits. Shame, shame, shame. I know they feel none, but should. I just hope no employees get injured in driveby.

Great Clips pricing & customer service

Upon her returning to college today, I took my grand daughter in the Camden, SC location for a wash & dry since she had finger surgery on Monday, has a cast & arm in a sling & could not get in the shower. Her hair is thin but does come to her bra line in the back. Didnt take very long to dry her hair. When I went to check out, I was charged $35.
My husband is a monthly customer at this store & pays $10 each month for a haircut.
The $35 was ridiculous, especially when almost all employees were standing at the register when I asked why the price was so high. I wasnt going to argue with all of them so I paid the $35 & left very upset. I will not be back, this was totally ridiculous.
I have been a manager for over 40 years in sales & banking. There was no customer service during this episode. I dont even know which one of them was the manager, she never introduced herself or ask how she could make this sitiation better!

It was probably because you got a shampoo and blow style. It's not free. You said her hair is almost to her bra line which is considered a long style. Try going to a full service shop and getting it done cheaper...it won't happen. Maybe you should have asked the price first

Great Clips online check-in and wait

March 6, 2019 this is my 2nd time going to this location since it opened like a year ago and I will not be returning. I just left this location with my 2 sons, only 1 was getting a haircut. I checked in online and it said the wait time was 4 minutes so I checked in. I arrived and was asked if I checked in online and I had, my sons name was the only one on the list, said it would be a few minutes. They were both finishing clients and there was a man waiting that had not checked in and was not listed on the computer screen. He was there when we came in but he made a stink about being there way before we were on the screen and so she took him. I waited on the other stylist the get done and that customer had to run home and get money cause they didnt take his card. She told me she was sorry that she couldnt do anything because she hadnt checked him out and I had to wait on him. 1st of all the man that was there so long before us should have been checked in and added to the list and I should not have had to wait for someone to be rung out of the register. I will never be back to this location and very uncertain about going back period. I usually go to the one on george liles blvd concord, nc and never have this issue. Always some issue when I come in there and probably the reason they dont ever have much of a wait. I will drive out of my way to go to another location or go to sports clips. Just wanted to make you aware of this issue and I am not a happy customer. I dont feel like im at a salon I feel like im at a drive through hair cut place... Just get in and get out. No service recovery at all from them either visit.

Great Clips timely services, specifically check in procedures

Have supported this business since its opening in early Fall of 2018 on monthly basis.
Always check in on-line before going to this business.
On 02-05-2019, I checked in with "0" minutes waiting. I actually live within a 3 minute drive to this business. When I got there, I was told by business mgr, that my wait time was now 15 minutes.I told her, I couldnt wait due to fact, I had a work commitment in 1/2 hr. I feel if a customer checks in and wait time is 0 minutes, then that business should honor that commitment.Why have a on -line check in if, you cant honor it.
15 minutes might not seem like alot to wait for, but I had time restriction, and could not wait 15 minutes.I checked in to this establishment only because of zero wait time.
Most likely will find new salon for haircut services, that honors its policy.

The 0 minute wait is if you are in the salon at that time. If people walk in and your not there they are going to take the people who are there at that moment. If you aren't smart enough to know that that's your problem

Great Clips simple hair cut

A lot of people say you are a scam but I tried you anyway. Been using store in Pfafftown NC. We had ice storm in 27105 area and I went to store at 8:45 1/14 to get haircut. Waited until 9:30, left and went to another location at Oak Summit 27105. I had a seniors coupon for $9.00 but Oak Summit said it had expired and would not honor it. I have never been back by date on ticket and they always honored at the other one. I thought all stores were the same but they are $12.00 and the first was 11.00. Not much at all but they should have told me this, the woman at oak summit saw the receipt and is bound to have seen the price, guess that extra dollar made her day! I am done with the great clips rip off, I really think you are a scam and keep us confused so you can squeeze all you can from us!

Great Clips stylistlinh

came in for a hair wash.. blow dry & comb out. This is my 3rd at this location in Monticello mn. The stylist was rough and did not care about me as a human being. She asked what kind of shampoo I used. I told her I did not know because I got my last hair wash in Mesa Az attached to Frys foods. She was very polite and professional. She took time to tell me about products. for my hair.

Also Monticello stylist LINH 1/10/19 ticket 435979. processed bill for $10.00 (which is stated on sign $5.00) She said something about she did more work (She pushed and used nails without caring. Never had a stylist be so rough. Anyway I told her I wanted to talk to manager & she said this one time she would change. I think manager was behind her... I made contact w/her. She knows I have been in before. She ripped up (refunded) lst receipt. Charged me $5.00. manager right behind her.. heard entire conversation. This is not friendly location. Need cr. but not at that locat. w/go elsewere. I am a retired teacher in this city for 22yrs.

A shampoo is $5. If they blow dry and style they are suppose to charge a lot more the $5. I'm sure they are happy that you go somewhere else

Great Clips haircut

Maria was talking too much to other people, she was working alone in the shop, she wasn't paying attention to what she was doing, and my haircut came out very bad. One side short, one side long, she wasn't paying attention at all. Just too much talking. And she overcharged me by $3.00. It was a ladies hair cut.
I am very unhappy and wouldn't recommend this location to anybody I know.

Great Clips small children of employees at work

Bringing in small children in the workplace where they're exposed to various chemicals and have access to chemicals, sharp objects, other unexpected dangers. The manager Tia shouldn't be allowed to work while her child is at risk of being in contact of these chemicals, nor have access to such. This business is not set up for an internal daycare facility!

Great Clips haircut

went in to Great Clips about two weeks ago .I sat in Reneika's chair, I am sure I spelled that wrong .As soon as I sat in the chair I immediately expressed to her that I needed for her not to be scissor happy .That was the first thing I said when I sat down .I came in with three inches of natural curly hair .So I had no hair to waste .I showed her the style I wanted which I had plenty of hair to pull off .I told her I wanted it stacked in the back she told me stack and a fade was the same .Even thou I knew that was not true I also knew she had the pic right in front of her .This lady cut all my hair off and gave me a fade .The same hair cut my son gets .She cut it all off the o the point where my hair couldn't make any curls in the back and front .She only needed to stack the back and cut a little off the top and sides .I left with one inch of hair and a fade .No curls .There is no doubt that she did it on purpose.I couldn't get anymore clear on what I wanted .There was even a point when she said I look nervous and I said that's because I am afraid of you cutting to much she told me to trust her two times and I did .Worst mistake of my life .She cut it all off .I felt so ugly and I know that's what she wanted .When I came in the shop my hair was longer than the pic I showed her but when I left my hair was shorter .I had a fade but I wanted this beautiful cut that I had more than enough hair for .Do not sit in that chair she is scissor happy and purposely cut my hair off .She wanted me to feel ugly probably because she does deep down inside .She cut my curls off as she told me they were beautiful even though I told her I wanted them .This happened in Love Joy Ga on Tara blvd .

Great Clips hair cut length too short and thinned too much!

My hair is thinning and I requested that the sides but left full NOT tapered or thinned, and that the back cut just a little bit shorter than the last time. Either this person did not listen or totally disregarded my instructions. This occurred at the Broadway salon in Columbia MO on 12/09/2018 at around 1:00 PM. I said nothing to the so called stylist since other people were there at the time and I was afraid I would make a scene! I may patron Great Clips again but will never let this person touche my hair!

Great Clips haircut

I had a great haircut at this Cottage Grove Plaza Great Clips end of August and it was time again. I went back to the W. Point Douglas Great Clips Halloween morning because of the prior great hair cut. What I received was worst haircut I can recall. I was told "all over cleanup" but I was sheared. Went out to my car and saw how bad it looked, wore a hat the rest of the day. It will take weeks for this hack job to grow out.
Yes, this is my fault, for going into the W. Point Douglas Great Clips and not walking out when I saw that the prior employee was not there. I have bad eyesight without glasses and I thought all the scissors work was detailed trimming. Could not believe the close cut shearing. I have had bad luck at the two Cottage Grove Great Clips, but this shearing by the hacker is too much. Will not be going back to either Cottage Grove Great Clips.

Great Clips closed for fake holiday

Stopped by the Walpole great clips at 90 Providence Hwy in Walpole, MA at 3 pm to find the door locked while stylist were cutting hair, After being ignored for a few I knocked & finally a lady came opened the door to tell me they are closed because of the holiday. I asked what holiday? Halloween was the reply. I was shocked while I told her Halloween isn't a real holiday. Businesses are open, there was school, mail delivered, or Gov offices are open. I asked her where is the sign stating you are closed, all I see are hours of operation which are 9-8pm wk days. Last time I checked the calendar, Wednesday was still a wk day. She pulled the door shut & locked the door again. Apparently she doesn't care about her business making customers or for that matter, customers.

Corporate needs to make sure their franchises comply with corporate policy

Great Clips hair straightening / rude salon workers

Had one hair stylist who basically gave up and walked away during the middle of my hair service. Had someone else come finish doing my hair named Samantha, I was not happy with the finished result. I simply asked about the price wondering exactly what I was paying for and she yelled at me saying you can either take the 53$ for the hair straightening or 43$ for the wash. I never asked for my hair to be washed, the first stylist insisted on washing it first and said she would not charge me. Overall, I left unhappy with the service and how my hair looked, very rude girls.

Great Clips haircut

I went to the Great Clips on Wise Avenue in Baltimore Maryland yesterday. I asked the lady to trim my hair and straighten up my bangs. Well she cut over 4 inches off the length of my hair she's squared the back of it off it was tapered I wanted layers put in it I had layers put in it and she did not do it. Why bags are crooked they don't blend in with the hair. I am absolutely upset with the quality of her hair cut. I would like a refund at least

Went for a haircut at Riverstone Plaza in Canton, Ga. on 11/7/18. My hair was cut by Donna. I walked out never seeing the back of my hair. When I got home and finally looked at my hair I almost had a heart attack. She ruined my hair, The way she cut the back of my hair it was zigzag cut, the left side was longin a few spots, the right side was short. The bottom of my hair wasn't tapered but stood away from my scalp.
I went back to the shop on Thursday (blonde, don't have her name) and showed her what Donna did to my hair. She said she'd fix it. Well she started cutting and buzzing and I wound up looking like I just finished chemo with a bald head with a little hair on top. I am a 73 year old senior and this would never be a style I would go for.

I asked to speak to the manager but she was not available but they gave me my $10.00 back. They took my phone number and said they would pass the message on to Amy (manager).
I finally got a call from Amy, on 11/13, saying she was sorry and she offered me a free haircut. Why on earth would I want another haircut from them after what they did to me. She said another "Amy" would call me about this problem. I am still waiting for this other "AMY" to call me. All I wanted was a solution to covering up my bald head for the holidays. I feel like I was treated so rudely. It was like here's your $10.00 back, sorry, goodbye. Something needs to be done about people treating people badly.
