I have been trying to close my accounts with Barclays Zambia for over a year and have been passed from one person to the other. All the people who supposedly are meant to help me with this process just stop responding to me. I have tried sending an email to customer service and also contacting them on their Facebook page but despite notifying them that I do not currently reside in Zambia I have been advised to visit a branch! In the meantime I was notified my accounts were closed due to inactivity and the money moved into a special account which Barclays is charging me for. I am really at a loss on what to do next, I never expected this from Barclays- the customer service from a Barclays Zambia so far has been next to none existent. I will not stop until I get my money back! This is how they steal people's money!!
