Acai Berry scammed

You are all correct. I did call and get the $29.95 refunded and cancelled the 89.51 orders. Yes, this info was in the fine print. My bad. I am told the supplements are on the way. Cancel the fit-fac by calling [protected] and call [protected] to cancel ALL OTHER OFFERS associated with this scam.

Peace

I had the same problems as you all do. The supposed free trial with the acai berry diet pills. Yes, a major scam. Just got off the phone with a lady that took a reaming after I looked at my credit card charge. I have some things or info. to share. There is a link I had gotten on my e-mail, it is http://www.xmorders.com/mrf I filled out this form to cancel my order. Do not put any periods she said, though you have to for your e-mail address or the form will not submit. There was this password she gave me it was the word - sorts. Her name was Mariana. You have to know the reps. name, the signature password is your name, first and last. The place to return your orders is 3609 N. 79th Avenue, Hollywood, Fl. 33020. She of course informed me that they would credit my card, the 87.? amount, but only getting forty something back, there is a restocking fee of forty something dollars, another way they rip off your money. Good Luck if you need to, get your bank or other credit card number to cancel your number and get a new one, that is the best way to get rid of this scam.

I am beginning to wonder. If these companies are so money hungry and more interested in forcing clients into paying for a product that they may not want, then what does this say about their ethics. Maybe their Acai Berry is not even what they claim it is either.

When you get ahold of the customer service (AFTER 15 minute hold) Please, ask for SAUL his work ID is #352 - he is a superviser and he will do the refund. YOU HAVE TO THREATEN him first though;-)
Also, contacting your CC company and disputing the charge gets there attention REALLY fast.

If I were you I would get a life or a job because itseems as if you don't have a life because you leave these comments and no one really gives a crap about it.

Okay everyone, here's the latest...

I received an email today from someone who claimed to be the AOL Security and Billing Team asking me for all of my billing information, Social Security Number, address, phone number and credit card information. Anyone who knows anything about AOL knows they NEVER do this. Besides, I also know that all of my current billing info with them is correct and funtioning properly and I've NEVER before this EVER received an email like this. What a coincidence! So I contacted AOL Security and told them about the whole "collections" thing and the complaints I posted yesterday and told them that there definitely IS someone interrested in getting my financial and personal info who wrote me on the very same email account that I received the request for all of my info! So, per their instruction, I reported every single email to them and all of the information for KATIE COLAPOINTE and her company and they are now tracing the IP address, location, and email account that the suspicious email was sent from. They also assured me that all apporpriate action would be taken and that IF ( KATIE, I said IF ) it turns out to have come from KATIE COLAPOINTE and/or anyone associated with her or her company, they will forward the information to me for possible criminal prosecution and/or litigation. If it does turn out that this suspicious email is linked in any way to KATIE COLAPOINTE or her company, I will be more than happy to provide any information to any other customer who is being treated in the same manner by KATIE or her company, free of charge. Any further suspicious activity that I feel may be linked to KATIE or her company, will be reported. I urge anyone who may going through all of this with them to be diligent in protecting your rights and your information.

If you would like to request any information, please post here and I will be checking it to see if I can help anyone else who may be going through this with these people.

What if you don't order a Pizza online? Slanderjammer... Are you related to katie or her friend? Co-Worker maybe? You'll need to get YOUR head out of YOUR rear! Call it false advertising or whatever you want. But it all spells fraud. She is also under the impression that complaining about her and her antics is slander and all of you who are complaining are guilty of it. I guess she's not aware of "Freedom of Speech". so if you all complain, you will be threatened with being sued... For quoting her exact word through copy and paste... From her own email.

Here are Katie's latest threats...

Ok we have all your information as well ma’am. So no you have a lovely day!
Oh and by the way I don’t work for acai berry that is a completely separate company with no affiliation to us what so ever!

Also, my attorney advised me to let you know you will be hearing from him soon for slander since you obviously did not read the terms & conditions as I asked you to do 4 times & all the information you posted on the net is false & inaccurate. I have forwarded my attorney the blog you posted as well as our voicemails I saved & our emails, along with your name, address, PO Box phone number, and your ip address.
Ok ma’am you & Melbyn will be hearing from my attorney

And here is Katie's company info...

Let's add one more complaint here regarding the idiots who actually try to collect on these scams. Name to look out for... KATIE COLAPOINTE. This idiot sends emails and makes phone calls to try to "explain" how you are wrong and she is right. People, hang up on this foolish idiot. I just caught her in a HUGE lie... she stated that the free 2 week trial is always an order of 60 capsules for a 30 day supply as THEY DON'T MAKE ANYTHING UNDER 60 CAPSULES! Meaning that you only intended to order a 14 day supply but they deliberatley and knowingly sent a 30 day supply without your permission because that is all they make. They don't even MAKE A 30 DAY SUPPLY! You all know what this means? They deliberately send more than you order and then try to use the fine print to justify why you're getting charged more and I have the email from KATIE COLAPOINTE, keep reading, in her own words and with her full name on it to prove that's what they do! I actually have her admitting to the fraud in her own words on her email address with her full name! Not only that, but on my voicemails, she said she is with a collection agency... In this email, she says that she is forwarding my refusal to pay for something I didn't order or receive TO A COLLECTION AGENCY! Another absolute and deliberate lie! Read this and keep this admission of fraud for your own defense: "Apparently you are quite confused ma’am we do not make anything other than bottles with 60 capsules. If you would listen to me instead of insisting on being right & proving me wrong I would be more than happy to provide all the information to you. The simple fact is you placed the order and YOU aren’t not willing to take accountability & responsibility for your own actions!. I will go ahead & forward your account to the third party collection agency & you can deal with them & your report." once again, the name is KATIE COLAPOINTE. Her email address is: katie@getorderhelp.com

Acai Berry - customer service over charging my credit card

OK I can ramble but I will try and get to the point. I filed complaints with both the Better Buisness Beau and the Federal Trade Commission about this company. First lets start with what they are.. This is a company that relies on their terms and conditions to charge you crazy amount of money for some miracle pills that may or may not work. Well I read...

I contacted the company after reading all of these complaints. It does take a long time to get through waiting on hold, but once you do, all you need to do is give them your name and mailing information. Tell them that you were only interested in the trial offer, and in no way want to order this product. Tell them you want to cancel your order, and you will be cancelled, and you will receive a confirmation email with your confirmation information.

Again, I did this after reading all of this, and it does take a little patience on our parts to get through to a human being, but you will and all will be taken care of.

But the complaints are right on, so don't delay or you will be charged!

Acai Berry AcaiBerry Website and Comapny

This Comapny has multiple phone numbers and addresses. Nothing on their web site has the correct phone number or shipping address. I finally gor through after trying several different phone number listed by other consumers on google. They gave me a different address to send my return to and you did not need a confirmation number anymore. I asked the operator about the other address and was told that they switched to another office. Asked about the other phone numbers and she said they had alot of them but she did not know the numbers. The new address is, Extreme Acaiberry, 4650 SW 51st Street, Davie, FL. 33314. The next day I called and got through again because I had to have an email address to send my return back "priority" mail. They never heard of me, in other words they did not have my name and phone number listed as buying any product. Hmmm? I got the email address anyway. Again she (the operator) stated they I did not need a confirmation number. [protected] is the number that was answered. For those that kept trying phone numbers and got no response or who got charged after returning products or any other grief they caused I would encourage you to report them to your attorney general in your state and the state of FLorida. Also the BBB in the state of FL. Its the only way we can get these scammers to stop. If you are wondering why they give false numbers and info? So that you will either give up in frustration and they can then charge you for not returning the product in the 15 day to include the time it took them to ship it. So you may have less then a day to decide if this product works for you and get it into the mail in time. They are pretty slick, and all of this info is in the fine print under Terms and Conditions. They count on you not to read it and if you did their back up is...give them a bunch of non working numbers and a phony address...At least they will get another $88 plus out of us. And to slap ya in the face again just for fun they will charge you a 30% administration fee because you sent it back ! So they obviously do not have any faith in their product, they know it doesn't work but they are going to scam you anyway. Only in a America people...And the sad part about it is that THEY WILL GET AWAY WITH IT! FYI all the alias. Aton Solution, Extreme AcaiBerry, Acai Supreme, SFL Nutrition, LLC. All Boca Ratan and Davie Florida Addresses. Also be prepared for someone rather rude.

Boca Raton supplement firm to refund $10 million
Listen to this article or download audio file.Click-2-Listen

By SUSAN SALISBURY

Palm Beach Post Staff Writer

Thursday, June 25, 2009

A Boca Raton-based company that markets non-prescription dietary and health supplements, including acai berry supplements, has refunded almost $10 million to customers nationwide, Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum said Thursday.

The attorney general's office said it reached a settlement with Aton Solutions and its subsidiaries that resolves allegations surrounding 15-day free trials of its products. Customers were unable to cancel their subscriptions before being continuously billed a monthly fee of $80 or more for products that they neither ordered nor wanted.

Source: http://www.palmbeachpost.com/business/content/business/epaper/2009/06/25/a6b_aton_0626.html

In March, the Washington-based Center for Science in the Public Interest issued a warning to consumers not to enroll online in supposedly free trials for acai berry products, and said there is no evidence to suggest that acai pills will help shed pounds, flatten tummies or perform any of the other commonly advertised functions.

Customers who filed complaints with the attorney general's office claimed they were unable to contact the company or its subsidiaries - GIC LLC, SFL Nutrition LLC, Globalnet Pharmacies LLC and Glades Distribution Services - by telephone, e-mail or through the company's Web sites to cancel future orders.

Under the settlement with the attorney general's office, Aton and its subsidiaries have agreed to openly describe all terms and conditions of trial offers on the company's Web site and will disclose how and when the products may be returned. The company also must maintain enough personnel to field cancellation requests.

The company has cooperated in the investigation that began in December and has said it will continue to issue refunds to any customers who have complaints.

Earlier this year, The Better Business Bureau of South Florida gave Aton and its related companies an "F" rating and received a total of 3, 889 complaints about the company. Of those, 3, 381 went unanswered, according to the bureau's report on the firm.

I had the very same situation. I ordered the product and they charged my account. The product didn't come for 14 plus days. On top of that they signed me up for a monthly website account that I didn't want. It was in the fine print but amazing. Plan to contact the BBB to notify them of them disreputable tactics.

This company is a total scam. They rip people off of their money and keep charging the credit card even when they say they will cancel your membership. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and the Chase Credit Card Company. Acai Berry Supreme has caused some heated arguements between my wife and I after she was scammed by these crooks. I cancelled my credit card today due to non-stop charges.

Acai Berry SCAM for &free samples&

I have the same issues as others have posted on the complaint website.
Thought I was getting a free sample of Acai Berry Supreme Supplement that I probably would have continued to use if I hadn't gotten "raped" by the company. You should be ashamed of yourselves!
WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND! The company started with the free sample + (S& H for 5.99)--then they "threw in" the "Cleanse" supplement-- that I had no interest in and a $25. giftcard to Wal-Mart. They did not give the option to decline the Cleanse. I have not seen nor heard anything about a $25 giftcard, either. Just the charges debitted from my account. First $88.62one day for the White Tea Acai Berry, then $78.84 the next day for the Cleanse-V-(that I didn't have a choice about).

Really, HOW DO YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT?

Yep I fell for it too. $88.62 for the acaiberry and $80.00 something for the cologenix. Just called them ...again. I first did get ahold of them over a month ago, and cancelled everything, to stop the payments, they took the most recent $80. one off but that was all. Still mad about this I called them again, today. 1st mideast* woman hung up on me, second mideast* one told me that since I did not cancel within 15 days(from the time I ordered it online) that the trial bottle is what cost me the $88.62. nonrefundable. I told her I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING! I told her I was going to put the word out, try to get these celebs that are backing this to know what's up, and call my lawyer. I also questioned why wouldn't a company want to make it right? I don't get it! So, I think I will E-mail this to everyone I know, and beg them to pass it on, so noone else will get screwed! TELL EVERYONE!

It is a scam! I just got my credit card statement and saw a charge for $78. They wouldn't even email the "terms and conditions" I supposedly agreed to. I'm disputing the charge with my credit card company. I cancelled and if I get another charge I will go postal.

Also, the product stinks

I ordered "free" samples which I was charged 3.95 on my credit card. Included in the envelope with the "free" sample was a small piece of paper which stated that If I did not cancel I would be billed 89.31 per month for a full months supply each month. I canceled immediately, was given a confirmation # and told there would be no further charges. Upon reviewing my Credit card account online, I found that I was being charged for things I did not order, or recognize, PLUS I was charged for a full months supply of the GARBAGE product I ordered a "free" sample of! I called the number on the bottle
[protected], and they did not "have any record of any further charges". It has been a PAIN disputing all these extra charges, which total 120.00! What a price to pay for a "FREE" sample! DON"T fall for the scam! Check out the website and the company before you fill out the form and ABOVE ALL read the fine print in their "terms and conditions". This is deception and fraud.

Acai Berry Non working telephone number

Like everyone else, I order ACAI Berry Supreme from SFL Nutrition, LLC and received it late. I had only one day to try the product and unsuccessfully could not reach them through [protected]. But thanks to the person on this complaint board who suggest to go to https://www.whiteteaacai.com and do a live chat. At first I was skeptical because the bottle shown on this website is not the same bottle I received in the mail. So I check their return policy and found that both product return address and telephone number is the same. So I was able to cancel my order via chat and I also have an e-mail of the conversation just in case I need to dispute any future charges. In the future, I will check this site and others for complaints first before ordering anything on the web. I truly learned a lesson.

This company advertising by sending e-mail. It has telephone number but you cannot contact by telephone. It will get you by telling you about free trial of its product and pay only by you credit card the shipping charges. You will receive by USPS shipping. In a few days you receive the product that outrageously overpriced and charge your bank account without your knowledge. You cannot contact it tact the company by phone because you will be cut off, no answer, dead phone, etc. There is price gouging. You cannot return the product. I made written complaint to the U.S. Attorney general but I was informed that it was referred to th fbi.

Please take into consideration all of the complaints you're reading about Acai Berry Supreme. There is something suspicious about this company. If you'll notice all of the complaints are nearly the same.

I noticed a red flag when I was ordering the product. Prior to the order being completed there was a site that came up for a free trial for another product. Unfortuately I don't recall the name of it. It had something to do with buying products at a discounted price online. Agreeing to accept the offer was the only way to complete the order for Acai Berry Supreme. There was no option to decline the offer. I tried to go back and stop the order. I thought it did not go through because I didn't complete the entire process. It wasn't until I checked my email that I learned that the order did go through; I received an email from them saying my order was in process.

I decided to call [protected] to cancel my order as soon as they opened. To my surprise someone did answer within five minutes. I wanted to make sure that I keep a record of the necessary information related to my request to cancel my order so I started asking various questions, including the customer representatives first and last name or their employee number (usually a customer services representative will give you one or the other). She would only tell me that her first name is "Jen" and they are not allowed to give out their employee number. All of sudden, she started talking over me, reading a script about calling a 800 number and abruptly hung up in my face.

I called back and spoke to someone else who was able to tell me the exact same cancellation confirmation number for my account as "Jen." She would not give me any information related to the other company stating that she can only give information related to my account with Acai Berry Supreme. With that said, I will be calling my bank to cancel the credit card I used to order this product. I have a haunch that it is highly likely that sometime or another I will be billed from this other company.

Another frustrating experience was the language barrier with the customer services representatives. As with many companies their customer services representatives are in another country and they do not speak English clearly.

I ordered this product because I was normally eating the pure acai in a smoothie form daily. I chose to go back to work full time and go back to school and found that I didn't have the time I used to in order to make my smoothies. I was looking for an alternative and found this. The trial sounded great. The problem was that when I read the agreement it stated that I was only to pay for shipping and handling. There was nothing that mentioned being charged after 15 days. However, if I chose that I liked it and wanted to continue, it mentioned that I would start to receive monthly shipments and be charged at the time it was being shipped. I received the product on 1/23/09 and was charged almost $80.00 on 1/30/09. Completely not expecting it, I was very upset and not able to reach the company by any means. Now I'm scared about my bank account and as to what else these people can do with my account information. Do not buy from this company. To top it off, I haven't noticed a difference with the pill form and chose to go back to pure acai in a smoothie form.

I have tried to get ahold of the company via email and phone a number of times over a two month period to no avail. I have left messages, emailed at least once a day. I ordered my "free sample" on the 12th of December and didn't even get it until the 15th of January, however in the mean time I had called them before my 14th day even though I didn't even have the product to cancel. I could never get through to speak with someone. Now that I have noticed a charge on my credit card, I have tried calling them at the number listed on my statement and the one listed on the bottle. When you call it doesn't even ring, it just clicks and hangs up. I contacted my credit card company and apparently they have received a number of calls about this company and others having the same issue. I tried also to go from the link that you display on your site and when you go to the "contact us" or the "refund or exchange policy" the web site is conveniently not found. Imagine my surprise, not really, since I couldn't get through to them any other way, I really didn't expect this to work. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am posting this complaint to further validate all previous complaints. With this scam the goal is to attract consumers via a free trial offer and then withdrawal funds from their credit card regardlesso of cancellation. If you attempt to correspond by utilizing the online chat you will be very dissapointed to find an email inquiry form; should you get a valid phone number to call plan on waiting for an extended period of time only to be put off 36 hours at a time. No matter how long or how many times you call there will never be any positive resolve. I wish I had read these complaints before ever becoming entangle in this online shake down.

Filed a fraud with my credit card comp & bank. These people should be locked up and the internet should do a better job of what they let these companies advertize. Bonnie

Signed up for the free 30 day supply, and got caught up in a trap. I've had two withdrawls from my account in these amounts: $88 & $94 within less than two weeks of each other. Other than the so called free pills, I have not received anything else. I have no other recourse but to cancel my bank account which I can't because of the way my job pays out over the holidays. So now, I'll have two more withdrawls that I never signed up for. If I could just get them to stop, I would chalk up the first two as a lesson. Anyone have any ideas?

On 11/28 I ordered a "free" sample of Acai Berry Supreme. I only needed to pay for shipping and handling. This is not the case, however. A month later on 12/24, I see I have been charged $88.62 on my debit card. I called the bank and because it's a debit card, AND the fact that this company is apparently oversears, I could not dispute the charge and have it removed. I can't even get to the website where I ordered the product. So, I had to cancel my debit card and apply for a new one to ensure I would not be charged again. All I know is I best be getting a shipment of something SOON. I can not reach this Acai Berry Supreme Store on ANY of the phone #'s that they have provided.

And so, my research began. It appears that I am one of many, many people that have been affected by this major scam. How is this possible? This product is being promoted by Oprah nd Rachael Ray. They need to be told of this scam right away.

I'm emailing anyone that will listen to me – including the BBB and local news stations. If you have been ripped off, I suggest you do the same!

Thanks for reading.

I read a weigh loss story on www.momsweightloss.com. They recommended to buy Acai Berry and Bromalite together and they give you the link to buy it as they are just friendly sharing their story but is just a scam. I when to both websites and subscribe for a free trial that IS A FRAUD. The 16th day they will charge you $88 for Acai Berry and $93 for Bromalite. Hopefully I found out just in time. So if you subscribe for this "Free Trial" call immediately to cancel it because is an automatic charge of $88. To cancel is a frustrating experience but I found this number and it worked is: [protected] you will wait like 40 minutes but be patient a live person will answer and you will be able to cancel your order. Thanks for those who posted their experience I could cancel this order and avoid the fraud.

Acai Berry Unauthorized credit card billing, scam

I ordered a "free sample" of Acai Berry Diet from their website. I was billed $29.95 before the sample even arrived! I called the number given by the website, to cancel the autoship that the $29.95 was supposed to be initiating. After half a dozen phone calls in which I could not reach a live person, I finally did manage to speak with someone who agreed to refund my $29.95 and stop the autoship order. The $29.95 was returned, credited to my bank account, but two days later it was debited $89.31! I called the number given to me by the first person I spoke with, when I canceled my order, but all I got was a recording. I then called the original number, the same one on the Acai Berry supplements bottle, and was told I would receive a refund for the payment in 14 days. It has been 14 days, and I'm still waiting for my refund. Oh, as an added bonus, that $89 caused an overdraft in my account, for which I must now pay as well!

Do NOT fall for this scam, it's just another pyramid scam, looking for chumps to take advantage of! There should be a law against this kind of crap.

A response to the marketing statement above from the company:

Funny that when someone orders your product there is NO confirmation, NO email, NO tracking/shipping information, NO follow-up communication or ANYTHING to guide the consumer in their purchase BEFORE you ship them the product and start charging them. REAL, REPUTABLE companies do this. But you guys blatantly take the consumer's information and carefully wait until the shipping period has passed to deliver your CRAP product just in time to charge the credit card.

You will be gone soon enough - credit card companies, the FTC and Better Business Bureau are all receiving compaints. It is just a matter of time.

My letter to the Better Business Bureau:
I ordered a free trial of acai berry. My credit card was billed $4.99 to Advanced Wellness, Miami Beach, Florida on November 12, 2009. The agreement was that after you received your product you had 14 days to cancel or they would bill your credit card $90.00 every month and send you more of the product. I never received a confirmation email with the appropriate information, nor did I receive the product. Worried they might charge my credit card for not canceling before 14 days I tried to track them down online. None of the numbers they provided worked. I called and no one would answer, or else there would be a message saying the number had been disconnected. Some of the numbers they provided include: [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], and the number for their customer service that didn't have an answer was [protected]. Upon further research I found out that they are advertising different forms of the acai berry (and some other products) at different websites, yet they are all connected to the same place. Reading about others past experiences they don't ship the product to you until after 14 days so that you aren't given the opportunity to cancel, and then automatically bill you the $90.00 charges saying you agreed to it once you ordered the product. Your credit card information is also shared with two other businesses called pricelimbo and fitfactory who also start charging your credit card. They also make it virtually impossible to get a hold of anyone to cancel. This is absolute fraud, false advertising, and extremely unethical. I am furious. Since I can not get a hold of anyone to cancel my order I contacted my bank to close my account. From reading other's experiences it sounds like that is the only way of canceling this product. Since I was able to cancel my account before the $90.00 charge was posted my bank said I can't go through their fraud department, however, I can dispute it through their banking center at my local branch. I will also be contacting the State Attorney General. It you google 'Acai Berry scam complaints' you will read hundreds of the same story. Please follow through with this, so many people are getting ripped off. Thank you, Katie

Acai Berry refund of charges

I ordered a trial bottle online and paid the 3.95 fee. I was charged 29.95 a week later and complained to the company. They refunded the 29.95 and canceled my account with them. A week later, 10-31-08, I was charged 89.31. My checking account bounced because of their charge and I received numerous overdraft fees. The people I spoke to refused to help me and hung up on me. I filed a dispute with my bank as well as the Better Business Bureau.

It is designed to catch you out like that - in future i will read the very very small print at the bottom of the page. The first thing i did was change my card details with the Bank, before the 'company' had the chance to take the money for the 30 day supply. I got my free trail however but i did not take the tablets, as i feel that if this product really works they would not have to scam people out of their hard earned cash.

I am very unhappy with the situation. I e-mailed you on 22nd January to ask you to cancel the whole thing. I did not then expect you to take more money out of my account. To date you have removed £154.62 out of my account. In return I have only received one lot of 'Extreme AcaiBerry' melt away tablets to date which I thought I was requesting on the free trial that you advertised! Imagine my horror when I checked my bank account to find you have removed more than £150 since January and £83.65 since I cancelled the account!

I request complete reimbursement of the whole charges. Having answered your ad for a free trial I was only expecting you to take postage and packaging out of my account- that is £3.00 not £154.62!
Please do this immediately as this has come out of my university fund.
Thank you.
Kimberely.

This happened to me as well. I called and cancelled my order months ago and didn't have the money in my account to cover the charges being that the account I put it under is not me an my husbands joint account. As soon as I made a deposit, they debited my account $89.31 +several international transfer fees. I filed a dispute with my bank for fradulent charges and will also call BBB. I called the number on the bottle and a recording comes on that says they are closed and to call back during business hours but they give no other information. They are EXTREMELY unprofessional to say the least and the product isn't what it's cracked up to be. This is absolutely ridiculous!

I went online and found this product and fully read the terms of the contract, I did see that they would begin to charge you for the next month after the 14 day trial, so I only waited 5 days to call back to cancel and I guess they had already sent it b/c I got the trial bottle and have not see any additional charges. It's been almost a month since I called to place the order. But I'll keep checking my account to make sure that no shady charges show up.

I am so glad I found this website. I thought I was losing my mind and a never ending battle with the lady on the phone. Nearly all of these comments are what I went through. I bought my bottle of the $3.95 trial in October. I was charged $89 before I had a chance to cancel the order. When I called and asked why it was on my bank statement the lady was minimal help but stated I should have called sooner. How can I call sooner when I didn't get the trial bottle on time?
I was instructed to send the bottle back, once I actually received this $89 bottle. Once I got it, I sent it back without opening it. I sent it back 11/17/08. I have been waiting to see a credit on my account for this return. I have the return/refused tracking number, so I called them today. My first contact, a male, immediately asked me to wait and then put me on hold and ending up hanging up on me. Now this was after a long wait on the phone already. I called back again waiting for awhile. This person was a female and was absolutely no help. She kept saying I did not follow protocol and procedures and no one at their company would jeopardize their job and give incorrect information to me.
She stated that I should have called with the return tracking number as soon as I got it and that I was most likely instructed by the person I spoke with, in November. I informed her that no such thing happened and she kept telling me it was my fault. She informed me that I would not be getting my refund. Then at one point she stated that if I would have provided a tracking number then I could have gotten a refund. She kept arguing with me and questioning my following correct terms of the contract. I asked to speak to a supervisor but she wouldn't allow it; stating the supervisor would give the same answer and that the supervisor was on the phone. I stated I would wait for the supervisor and this very rude and not so helpful lady told me I did not make sense for wanting to wait on hold for a CHARGED INTERNATIONAL call as I was already trying to dispute some charges. Sure did not know that we were on International territory with the call.
I ended up hanging up after informing her that I would contact my bank and the BBB.
I am out $89 as well as these so called Acai Berry pills.
What a scam.

I just received this trial and am grateful for all the posts saying to cancel this before it became a disaster. Here's what I found out needs to be cancelled:

Call [protected] - Cancel BOTH Acai Berry and Price Limbo. She didn't automatically cancel both, I had to specifically ask about Price Limbo or she would have left that part of the account open.

Call [protected] - Cancel Fit Factory Account.

I didn't have much trouble or a bad hold time with either. Make sure you get a Confirmation number for all 3 accounts when they cancel them. Hope this helps!

I also received a free trial for what I thought was only 3.95 and received it after 14 days. I then received another package in the mail and wondered why. I then noticed on my bank account that I had been charged $29.95 from a NV company listing fit.fac.com, the web site doesn't exist. I also noticed a charge of $89.31 from another NV company. What a scam. I called the fit fac company and received a credit after telling them that I felt the charge was a scam. The woman told me that I should have received an email about the fit fac website, which is apparently a weight loss help website. I never received an email. I've tried calling the number listed for the $89.31 charge numerous times but only get a recording and then disconnected. This is a definite scam and these companies need to be stopped. Oprah and Rachael Ray need to alerted that their names are attached to this rip off!

Acai Berry Phone number to cancel!

I just wanted to fill everyone in on my way around the system. I too, ordered the Acai Berry Supreme pills a month or so ago. I started reading how there was a scam going on out there of how you couldn't cancel your order with the number they gave you. So, I started freaking out...wondering how I could cancel this. Then, I remembered that I had an "online chat" with a representative from that website, and she gave me a seperate number to call to verify my order. So, I dug up that email, and got the number. I called that number a couple of times, and it never rang or anything. I decided to call one more time, and it went through. I spoke with a guy and he canceled my order right there. Shortly after speaking with him, I received an email saying my trial was cancelled. So...I'm going to give you all this number that worked for me. He insured me that I would not be charged, or receive anymore acai berry pills. I hope its true. Now this number isn't for the Acai Berry company. Its almost like its a hotline that handles all different kinds of products. I tried to order the "Colon Xr" too, and I was sent to the same number. So I'm not exactly sure who this phone number belongs too, but they had all of my information. Here's the number: [protected]. I hope this helps everyone.

Ordered the trial sample - received it but got no results from the product. Then received e-mail notice that another bottle of the product was being shipped although I did not order or request it. Called the number on the e-mail notice for customer service, was also advised that could go to www.mytrialsupport.com for assistance but could not get past the blogs. Operator took information for order number and customer number, e-mail address, telephone number, etc. and stated that I would be contacted in about an hour. Do no expect to be contacted or receive any further help other than be charged for something that is NO GOOD.

DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER ACAI BERRY SUPREME DIET SUPPLEMENT! THEIR WEBSITE IS INCREDIBLY DECEIVING. THEY TELL YOU THAT YOU WILL BE PAYING $5.95 FEE FOR A SAMPLE BOTTLE. HOWEVER, PLEASE, BE SURE TO READ THE FINE PRINT. IF YOU DO NOT CANCEL YOUR ORDER WITHIN 14 DAYS OF ORDERING THE PRODUCT, YOU WILL BE BILLED AN EXTRA $89 THAT IS NON-REFUNDABLE. THE INTERESTING THING ABOUT THIS IS THAT YOU DON’T EVEN RECEIVE THE PRODUCT BEFORE THE TWO WEEK TIME FRAME. AND THE COMPANY DOES NOT PROVIDE YOU ANY CONTACT INFORMATION IN WHICH YOU CAN REACH THEM TO CANCEL -I HAD TO GET THE PHONE NUMBER FROM MY BANK.

I filed a complaint within the last week about acai berry supreme. I wanted to follow up on the complaint, because I finally got through to cancel. On their website they have 'terms and conditions' at the very bottom of their site. Click on it, and then click on Live Chat. Do this early in the morning, 9am eastern time or as close as possible to that time. It takes a while, but a person will chat with you, and cancel your account.
I complained that I got two withdrawls from my account within 13 days of each other, and they explained that the first charge of 88.62 was because I failed to cancel within 15 days, and they charged me full price for that so called freebie, and then the other charge of 94.57 was for the second month. Although the charges fell between 13 days of each other, they were counting from the time I initially ordered the freebie (15+13 days is close to being 30). You can send back the bottles, but you need a return #, its best to get that when you cancel to save time. They said I will get back 70% of my money for the bottle I send back. The 30% is a restocking fee they say. I wanted to tell this because I came to the complaints board looking for answers, not just to gripe. Someone else got through, and so did I, so good luck to everyone else.

I MADE A PURCHASE ONLINE FOR ACAI BERRY SUPREME THEN I READ ABOUT CUSTOMERS NOT BEING ABLE TO CANCEL ORDERS, SO I DESIDED THIS IS NOT A COMAPNY I WANT TO PURCHASE FROM. I CALLED THE PHONE NUMBER THEY PROVIDE BUT IT IS NOT A WORKING NUMBER AND THEY DO NOT PROVIDE A E-MAIL. THEY DID SHIP THE BOTTLE I WANTED TO CANCEL SO KNOW I'M WORRIED THEY ARE GOING TO CONTINUE TO SEND PRODUCT THAT I DO NOT WANT. I HAD TO CALL MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND CANCEL MY CARD. I HOPE THEY DO NOT SEND MORE PRODUCT.

I submitted a complaint on here "Cannot cancel my acai berry subscription" and at the end of my complaint, I said I was going to write how I was able to cancel it in capital letter if I succeeded so here it is.

I WROTE THAT WHEN I CALLED [protected], IT KEPT SAYING "ALL CURCUITS ARE BUSY" BUT I GOT THROUGH! THE BEST TIME TO CALL IS RIGHT AS THEIR BUSINESS HOURS START BUT REMEMBER THEY ARE ON EASTERN TIME. I TALKED TO A WOMAN NAMED ALICE AND SHE TOLD ME IT WAS CANCELLED.

They say that you will be getting a confirmation email with your cancellation number(s) but I still haven't recieved it yet. GET YOUR CANCELLATION NUMBERS OVER THE PHONE EVEN IF THEY SAY YOU WILL GET AN EMAIL. LIKE I SAID, I HAVEN'T RECIEVED IT YET.

After you cancel it, keep an eye on your credit card or debit card that you charged it to just to make sure it went through.

TRUST ME, I WAS ABLE TO GET THROUGH AND I SAID THAT I WOULD WRITE BACK ON HERE TO TELL EVERYONE HOW I DID IT. DON'T GIVE UP ON THAT NUMBER. JUST HIT END AND SEND, KEEP CALLING BACK TO BACK UNTIL YOU GET THROUGH! IT REALLY DOES WORK!

These people are pure thieves. I tried this product back in Oct. 08. I cancelled it in that month at that time you were able to pull up some kind of chat screen b/c the number was always busy. Here it is Feb 09 and I am being charged $ 89.31 buy some company named IP nutraplex. I am so pissed off I can scream. I am disputing the charge with my credit card company. We need to band together and start a class action suit. We can't let them get away with this. That whole trial membership thing is just a cover even if you do cancel they charge you and you have no way to prove you cancelled.

As so many have written before, I too, fell for this free trial offer with payment of only shipping and handling. I failed to read the fine print and then the fun began. I do not know who these people are, but I hope there is a special hell for them and anyone like them. Life is hard enough. I researched quite a bit and found a couple of phone numbers and the ever popular Live Chat person. I e-mailed (save all e-mails) and was able to cancel with a confirmation number. This, of course, makes no difference as I received an e-mail stating my next shipment was sent. They had no intention of sending anything. just charging my debit card. The next day I went to the bank. Mydebit card was cancelled, I was issued a new one with a different number, and a fraud alert was put on my account. You must call your credit card company or bank and have them issue a new card with a new number. You must do this as soon as you can as they will never credit your account for unwanted shipments. Good luck. A lesson learned the hard way.

My wife, who often orders health supplements on the internet, received an unsolicited free sample. She discovered our checking account had been charged $88.62 even though she has never dealt with this company. I believe someone from another company is perpetrating this scam. A comment from someone purporting to represent the company has been posted after each of the complaints on this site. However, the comment, that I am copying into this complaint, doesn't explain how people who received unsolicited samples had unauthorized charges made to their debit or credit cards or bank accouunts. I would not contact the web site listed because it is prob ably another scam. Accordingly I will remove it from my post. If someone truly represents this company than that person should identify themselves in the comment they have posted.

Someone claiming to represent the company posted this e-mail

We appreciate forums such as Complaints Board that allow for customers of all products to vent or state their beliefs concerning a given product. We look at it as a great opportunity for us to share our vision and see it only as a positive. We understand your issue and acknowledge there have been others who have shared your same frustration. We recognize we are not perfect, but we are always seeking perfection.

We would like to take a moment and outline our whole marketing concept and emphasize it is very clearly outlined in our Terms and Conditions and made readily available and we actually require persons to verify it has been read BEFORE one chooses to take our sample. We offer a tremendously healthy product, in a trial size, at a greatly reduced price, in order to allow more people an opportunity to try our healthy product that would otherwise never had had the chance. In doing so, our intent is that when an individual tries our sample, they can make a decision as to whether or not they would like to continue to receive the product on a monthly basis. If they like the product, they do nothing and the product continues to come each month. If they choose they no longer want the product, no problem, all they have to do is go to the web address on the bottle and simply cancel the product. This usually takes less than 5 minutes.

We strive to do everything possible to make the product cancellation experience as easy and fast as possible for our customers. In the spirit of good customer relations, we have created a specific avenue for all who wish to give their feedback directly to us by visiting our Customer Support website and clicking on the "We Want to Hear From You" button. We hope this helps to clarify any misconceptions and invite any and all to visit our Customer Support website available 24/7/365 a week, for more information.

What the hell?!?!?! Why can't I talk to a LIVE person! I tried calling the customer service line on my reciept and on the bottle and it keeps telling me "ALL CURCUITS ARE BUSY, PLEASE TRY YOUR CALL AGAIN LATER." I called for 2 hours straight trying to get through and all I get is that phrase. I got so excited when I got 2 full rings but then you get the phrase AGAIN! What made me even more pissed off was when the phrase would come through BEFORE THE RING!

Second of all, I tried calling another Acai Berry product because I figured that the products are very similar and they may another number I can try. So I called Extreme Acai Berry and they gave me [protected]. DO NOT CALL IT! THE NUMBER DOES NOT WORK! It said that the number is NOT IN SERVICE! I called them back and got a different person. I asked them for the Acai Berry Supreme number and yet again they gave me the same number. I whipped around and told her that they gave me that number the first time and it was not in service. She said, "Well that is the number we have. You may have to try your call again later." I hung up.

I was looking through the complaints on this website and someone said to call [protected] but it has the same phrase as the 866-938 number. BUT HERE'S THE THING! I called that number a thousand times and all of a sudden it that THE NUMBER WAS INVALID and to try the number again. 10 minutes later I dialed it and it rang and went back to the "all curcuits..." phrase. WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP!

Lastly, on the website that I purchased the product from (http://www.acaiberrysupreme.com), there was actually a link at the bottom that said "CONTACT US" and there was a LIVE CHAT option BUT when I went back to the website, IT WAS GONE! How is that possible and how can people get away with this? I am going to keep calling and keep searching for a number because I know there has to be a way to cancel this mess and when I do, I will put it on here step by step in BIG LETTERS!

Acai Berry Illegal charge

Paid 4.98 for FREE TRIAL> Didn't care for the diet pills and discarded them. A month later I received another bottle. The very next day I returned them with a note to refund and cancel. The next week I received my Visa bill with an $89.31 bill from My Fitness Look [protected] UT. I did not know what this was so I called. It was for the bottle of Acai Berry which I had returned. "Dave" acknowledged that it had been returned and that my membership was cancelled, but would not allow for a refund. I too, will call the BBB and the Attorney Gen Office.

Dear Customer,

I'm sorry to hear about your unpleasant experience - after reading your complaint it is apparent that you are complaining about a company that is not ours but makes similar products; we do not partner with a company called "My Fitness Look" and our product costs $78.91 at the end of the 15-day trial period, not $89.31.

In regards to the follow-up posts, I'm terribly sorry that you all experienced such difficulty getting in touch with our customer service department at the end of 08'; we were transiitioning to a 24/7 call center in December of 2008 and because of this call times became extremely long for a week or two. You can now contact us at [protected] at whenever is convenient for you (as that line is open 24/7); hold times are under one minute.

I would like to re-iterate that we do not offer or advertise "free samples" - we are offering a "free trial" which is a time-sensitive test. We list terms and conditions repeatedly, which must be agreed to if you wish to finalize an order with us (or your order will not successfully process).

We also do not sell customer information to other companies; we do contact our customer immediately after ordering to confirm that the order is valid (as there is a great amount of fraud on the internet). Once we have confirmed the order we may offer our customer's specials and discounts on other products and services (gas cards, plane tickets, etc.) as a courtesy.

Customer's are in no way obligated to accept these specials, it is just our way of providing a better experience for our customers - they get a call from a person shortly after ordering to confirm their order, so they know they are dealing with a reputable company. We then offer them additional deals and savings as a way to beneift both parties; most customers are very happy to be contacted and offered additional savings.

The details are outlined in the Terms and Conditions, but I wouldn't say they were presented in a clear straightforward way, more like buried in an attempt to deceive. I never placed the final order after reading the terms, but it was too late to escape another part of the scam, I had already entered my email address. As I suspected, they would my email address to spammers. I am now getting loads of spam on a new account I had only used for the offer. I set up obscure test email accounts and used them to sign up for similar offers with affiliated companies and also received loads of spam email at those addresses on the same days. These guys are ###.

I fell for this I'm embarrassed to say. I cancelled my debit card when I was unable to cancel after my "free trial" because I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. To date I haven't been charged anything but did just receive the first months drop shipment, so am concerned I'll get a bill somewhere down the road.
I filed a complaint with www.sandiego.bbb.org as suggested by another on this board. I noticed there had been 16 complaints filed and resolved for SupremeOne this year.

I just got the "free trial" today and read the insert. First call to Customer Service I selected "cancel" and was placed on hold for 30 minutes. Second time, I selected "speak to customer service" and call was answered within 3 minutes. After telling the rep that I could not evaluate a "free trial" within 5 days and about the complaints read here on the internet, he offered to completely cancel my service and for $19.00 I could keep the two bottles of Acai.

I felt this was a much better option than trying to mail back opened bottles and have to wait for a delivery confirmation, etc. I already have the confirmation email and hope that this helps others needing to cancel.

Maybe these complaints have helped this company to realize they cannot continue this scam. I'm personally happy to be out only $24.00 !

Same experience and am interested in a class action law suit. I am assuming this address leads to an apartment in La Jolla. Anyone close enough to check it out? Supereme Brands LLC 941 Pearl Street #27 La Jolla, CA 92037. I received my trial pack after the 15 day trial period and then was charged my 4.95 for my free trial shipping. And then another 78.91. Have called the [protected] number several times to be put on hold and then disconnected. I have filed a complaint with www.sandiego.bbb.org (Better Business Bureau). Need more people to file a complaint. If this is your situation too please go to the bbb website and file a complaint.

I had the exact same experience with Supreme Brands Vital Acai only was charged $78.91 for the "free trial" plus the 4.95 shipping and handling. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and they have credited my account for now pending investigation. I have also canceled that card and have requested a duplicate card with a new number so that this company cannot defraud me again. This company also sold my name and credit card info to another company who were attempting to get authorization for a "free trial" for airline tickets and legal services. I paln on contacting the BBB, as well as the State's Attorney to file a complaint for false advertising as the website does not CLEARLY show that you will be charged this extra money unless you delve deeply into it. Additionally, I did not recieve the "free trial" of the sample until after it was too late to cancel anyway. I would like to hear from others who have had this/these issues as I would like to explore a class-action litigation.

Acai Berry - Acai Berry charge SCAM

I ordered Acai Berry and Total Cleanse on Oct. 7, 2008. I received (have the UPS tracking #) where it shows the item was delivered to me on October 17, 2008. I was BILLED for additional amount of $88.and some change just a few days later. I did not even get to try the "15 day trial" which is NOT what is shown on the original web link for the $5.95 trial...

Acai Berry unordered merchandise

I ordered a free sample of Pure Acai Barry and agreed to pay for shipping and handling only. I received my order, surprised that it was a 30 day supply, but I could only assume that was the size of their free sample. Today I recieved an e-mail telling me that my order for their cleanse product had been shipped. I never ordered this and do not intend to pay for it. Then I checked my bank account and discovered a debit payment to TE Performance Health on Oct. 15 in the amount of $79.76 which I never authorized. I will call my bank and ask them to cancel any charges to T.E. Performance Health, with the exception of the shipping and handling charge, which I did approve.

Thank you for your attention.

Acai Berry Phone numbers don't work; keep charging account

My wife orded a sample of Acai Berry online for $9.95 shipping. They said it would be here 9/28 - we got it 10/5. She tried calling to cancel future orders but can not get through. They charged our account $88.62 on 10/15, $78.84 on 10/20 and another $172 on 10/27! When we call the numbers there is either no answer, the call goes dead, the number is busy or one time we got a recording that said they were closed... Each charge to our account is accompanied by a different phone number and these are all different from number on packing slip -

- number on packing slip - [protected]
- first charge for sample - [protected]
- 2nd charge - [protected]
- 3rd charge - [protected]
- 4th charge - doesn't post until tomorrow so who knows what number we will see this time!

SHUT THESE GUYS DOWN!

I to woke up to find that my credit card was charged $88.62. I ordered thinking it was only $9.95. My order was much later than the date that was given. The telephone number that was given was unassigned. I am disputing the charge and will be cancelling my debit card. Boy was I deceived. Never again and I will be reporting them to the BBB. When and if I receive additional products, it will be returned to them or I will refuse the shipment.

OMG! I cannot believe these people can get away with this. After reading the fine print on how to cancel my automatic re-order, I tried calling the customer service number which had a recording that stated the number was not assigned. I then did a little digging on the internet and found all of these blogs about how others had an impossible time getting ahold of these people to cancel. I finally gave up and just cancelled my bank card that I charged it to. I was lucky I put it on a card that I did not use much and would not put my life on hold not having for a little while. Take my advice, Cancel your card before you get charged the outrageous charges by this company.

well i had to call my bank & cancel my debit card in order to stop any future transactions from occuring. it was a sure way that these scammers won't get anymore of my money!

good luck to you all...and pray that these companies are shut down =^)

I too have been identically scammed by them. I ordered a sample of Acai Berry online for $5.95 shipping. I didn't read the fine print until today about cancelling after they had charged my account $88.62 for the Acai and $78.84 for the Total Cleanse. When I call the numbers there is no answer and then the call just goes dead. I have gone to my bank to have all future charges blocked and a fraud notice issued. Good luck to us all in stopping these crooks.

CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANIES OR BANK AND CANCEL THE CARD. TELL THEM THE TRANACTIONS ARE NOT AUTHORIZED. REPORT YOUR CARD LOST OR STOLEN AND GET A NEW ONE. NOT ONLY WILL THIS STOP THESE JERKS BUT YOU WILL PROBABLY ALSO BE ABLE TO GET A GOOD AMOUNT OF YOUR MONEY BACK. BE NICE, PATIENT AND COURTEOUS. THE CREDIT COMPANY OR BANK WANTS YOU TO BE HAPPY, NOT THESE SCAM ARTISTS. GOOD LUCK!

YEP. I went to pay my CC bill an saw the next bill for $88.62 so I called my credit card people first. Then that company an like the others here, n o answer. So I had my ccard company cancel my card an issue me another number. Just so they don't do mulitle orders on me. I even thought I was doing good when one of the websites said "Official" site an another one that looked just like it DIDN"T say official so I thought THAT one was a scam site.

I wasn't fooled, I saw and read the small print.. I was supposed to receive my order on the 23rd (its the 29th) I got suspicious, so I called and waited on hold for 20 minutes ( I TOO got the "hang ups" beforehand, but I kept trying. ) I got the runaround.. them telling me that it was going to be shipped TODAY and did I still want it, etc. I told them I didn't and the person said they cancelled my order. I asked for a confirmation number.. she put me on hold for a few more minutes and came back and said she sent it to my email. As I asked the her for more information, she didnt want to give it to me and ended up hangin up on me.
I STILL haven't received the email. Everyone should go to the Better Business Bureau.. you can complain online and file a report about this company! I know I am!...

This is the smartest thing you can do, and fast!
After reading the fine print! which you should(i should) have done before sending info and pressing process order, checking complaints on company and panicking, called 1-800 number and no one answered, emailed, and no one replied.
so I called Visa's fraud center, and changed my card number! as simple as that, so the bogus company will only get the 6$ shipping charge, and then that's my fault for being so stupid! I dont even need to lose more than 10 pounds, so back to the good old fashioned stair master!
To everyone, if it seems too good to be true, it usually is!
act fast, and dont give your card number to these jerks! and most of all, dont get caught up in FREE TRIAL OFFERS!

Acai Berry Cancellation

I have ordered free trial and as soon as the order has been processed, the terms appeared saying that after 14 days i will be charged $89+. Which i have not authorised a direct debit for.

I have tried calling a few times but have been unable to get through.

I dont want to be charged $89+ and would like to cancel but seems as though i am backed to the corner with this one.

Like everyone else I was pissed off when I found out that they automatically charge you after 14 days of purchasing the trial product without informing clearly. So I found this page and after reading the reviews of finding it difficult to cancel, I was prepared to go through the red tape of cancelling this product. So I called the [protected] number they provided in the shipping, and the answering machine said that it is easier to contact them 6-9pm MST. So I did and surprisingly I got through to them straight away and I'm from Australia as well. They had good customer service also; but I think I learnt my lesson to not fall into these marketing traps again

Ordered free trial (shipping and handling 3.95) which has already been charged to my account, still haven't received product. Went online to check my account and there was an UNAUTHORIZED
charge of 29.95. I called my bank right away to cancel my credit card and to get information on unauthorized charges. If you shop on line it is important that you check your accounts on a daily basis.
How many people who don't have paid this without realizing it?

I thought I would order this Acai Berry Power 500 after seeing ads online. It was supposedly endorsed by Oprah, so I figured I would give it a try. I ordered the trial for $1.00. It is supposed to be a 14 day trial. Well 13 days went by before I finally received the bottle. I tried to cancel on the 10th day and of course the number I found on the web site did not work. I called customer service and the women said the number was out of service and she gave me another number to call. Funny, that didn't work either. I finally saw the $1.00 charge on my online banking statement and there was a number. I tried it and it worked. This of course was on the 14th day. I called to cancel and the woman said I was already charged the 89.31 because it was shipped already and there wasn't anything I could do about it. I finally got the full supply 30 days later. Another thing. The trial is supposed to be a 14 day supply, there are only 15 pills. You are supposed to take 3 to 6 a day. That is not a 14 day supply. The 30 day supply only has 60 pills. This is a rip-off. Don't do what I did. I haven't even tried one now because I'm afraid what it could do to me.

Since ordering the free trial of Acai Berry from this website, it has been over a week and I still not have received the trial. After reading all the complaints I tried to cancel on the phone number in the terms and conditions but have not been able to get through time and time again. The only way I could ensure that my card would not be billed was to call my credit card company and get them to block my credit card and issue me a new one with a different number. IF YOU HAVE GIVEN YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS TO THESE PEOPLE AND YOU CANNOT GET THROUGH TO CANCEL I URGE YOU TO BLOCK/CANCEL YOUR CARD AND GET A NEW ONE WITH A DIFFERENT NUMBER. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO ENSURE THEY CANNOT BILL YOU AGAIN. Tell your credit card company that you have lost your card if you are afraid of telling them that you have fallen for a scam. I did this and now the problem has gone away, but it was a hassle I really could have done without. If the "free" trial ever does arrive I'm going to throw it in the bin - I cannot trust that the product is genuine after how the company tries to scam everyone over money.

I decided to take a chance on a free trial offer for this Acai Berry Diet pill. I got the pills and looked at the little piece of paper that came in the package. It said that if I do not cancel within 14-days, I will be charged over 89 dollars a month.

I called the number immediately and it was busy the first 20 times I called. After finally getting through I was on hold for around 40min (I do not give up easily). Then some guy picked up and asked for my name and billing information. Before I could even finish giving my name and address, she said okay it is canceled. HE DID NOT EVEN LISTEN TO WHAT I WAS SAYING!How could he possibly have taking my card off. That was a complete scam and I am afraid my card will still be charged every month.

DO NOT TRY IT!

Biggest scam and even more of a headache! Someone should tell Oprah and Rachel Ray about this. Company makes it seem as if they are endorsing the purchase of this product! What a joke, though not funny at all trying to get satisfaction. Company rarely answers phone and average wait time is 30+ minutes. Customer service gives out totally wrong information about returning product then argues when try to tell them what USPS states.

Customer service supervisors all are 'in a meeting, ' are never available, and also have totally wrong information regarding returns.

Credit card company informed to fight non authorized charges to my credit card.

the web site offer a trial of diet pills which are acai berry and it's only 3.95 for 14 days. What we might not have known was that after the 14th day, they automatically charge your credit card about 89 dollars monthly. I'd tried calling the number I'd gave above but the number is either un assign, doesn't work, or they want me to try again. I think that they just want our money. I'd also recently send them a letter and hopefully they call by the end of the month but I highly doubt it. If I known something was this bad, I'm never going to buy anything online. I looked up the area at mapquest.com and it seems to me as if the business is a home and not a building. Please help.

I have tried several times to cancel this product without success. Can you please do so immediately. I received an email today stating that I have contacted the wrong company so have given all the details I have in case there are several companies selling this product from the same premises. I think it would be prudent in future if you intend to carry on selling this product via the internet that you have an email address/website where cancellations can be made from countries other that the USA.

Please cancel this order.

Acai Berry Deceptive advertising

I can't identify the exact website but the product is the same on the above mentioned website. I was searching to locate an Acai product to replace the liquid Acai Extreme supplement manufactured by Agrolabs, distributed through VitaCost and is no longer available. I was not trying to lose weight but to find a product that provided the endurance and stamina that my liquid supplement did. I sent for two free trials. Extreme AcaiBerry from Nubodi and AcaiPure from Central Coast Neutraceuticals, Inc. I have not seen a charge from Central Coast but Nubodi or "MyEzeTrim as it is listed on my credit card statement has billed me $89.31 for what they call a "subscription". I did not subscribe to anything, merely requested their trial product to see if it would provide the same as my liquid supplement. When I contacted the service rep about the charge on my credit card statement he insisted that I had agreed to the "Terms" by sending in my request. I had not. I eventually found the terms he was referring to but by no means did I agreed with them. Nor would I have if they had not been so obscure. He agreed to cancel my "subscription" but would not reverse the $89.31 charge. If I refuse to pay then I will jeopardize my credit. These predators have you over a barrel. That is why I am writing, to prevent further victimization of upstanding, belief in your fellow man, apple pie, and the American flag, individuals so they do not get caught in this trap. It is my intent to see that this company gets more than $90 worth of negative advertising. This complaint is just the beginning. The "Acai" frenzy is just another example of how the greedy ###ize anything they possibly can to get rich quick, spoiling the positive.

Basically, I have the same complaints as everyone else. However, finally I got through to the company using the phone number that appeared on my VISA statement. I was on hold for 2 hours but refused to hang up. Finally, someone actually answered and I told them in no uncertain terms that I wanted the account cancelled. The first thing he asked me was the order number. I told him I didn't know but to look it up under my name. He found it and said that he would take care of cancelling it. I asked him about the charge on my credit card and he said it would take 2 to 5 days for the cancellation to show up. In the meantime, I called my VISA account again and they told me to wait for 1 month after I talked to him and if more of the product showed up to send it back immediately. They would take care of it from their end. So, I called and got through on December 8, 2008, and finally, on December 17, 2008, the charge on my credit card was deleted. So, it can be done, but none of the numbers that I have seen that other people have given are correct. Here is the correct No.: [protected]. Don't get frustrated and hang up. It can be done. I hope this helps.

i just almost got conned into paying for an acai berry product from a fake company. They gave me a fake number to call [protected]...if anyone is having any problems with acai berry scams or feel that they been scamed with any products online or over the phone, u should check by calling back any number a company has given u, and make sure its not a fony number. you can also check if a company is official by checking the better business bereau or www.bbb.org/... and if its 2 late nd they already took your money nd thers no way of canceling your oder, the only option left is cancel your credit card that you've used or put a block on the checking account or credit/debit card that you've used. i hope i was able to help someone, and just try to be more careful next time you make an order from a company that your not to sure about.

Well, I never received my email confirmation from them and was then charged $88.00 to my credit card and of course no credit of S&H fees. This is very frustrating. I am now on chat looking at a wait of who knows how long. Any suggestions on how to actually get a credit or have these scam artists stopped would be greatly appreciated.

I got through on the live online customer service at:

https://www.whiteteaacai.com//checkout1.aspx?bid=7ca05dec-76ce-443f-b578-185381d3c114

I reported their phone problem, of course they say they know nothing about that! One other thing - I did have one of the "wrong companies" give me a phone number of [protected].

I am in total agreement with all of you. Thanks to all your comments I finally got through the chat line at whiteteaacai.com Now I have to wait 24-48 hours to get my email confirmation that my orders were canceled. I was lucky in away, I never received my free trial offer and I was trying to get through to get it sent, but after reading all your comments, I decided to cancel everything and get my S&H fees credited. Mahalo from Hawaii everyone.

I HAVE YOUR ANSWER EVERYONE!
I have been struggling with this for 3 days now... Finally I have my life back! It seems as though this company (many more as well) change their number as often as possible to avoid cancellation on they're products. They make it as comlicated as possible to cancel. What they're doing is legel because they do have fine print that stated you will be charged X amount of dollars. Unfortunaly for us, through the process of ordering, they don't tell you that you will be charged until you read the entire terms and conditions which most people don't. Boy did I learn my lesson, and I hope all of you did as well. The product is real, the company selling is sketchy. They change the number sometimes once a month, sometimes once a day, it depends on how many calls they're getting. I just got through about 10 minutes ago and had my Acai Berry Supreme cancelled right away and they gave me confirmation number. Here is the number, good luck to you all!

I've had the same experiences as listed above. The number that came with my product "your call cannot be processed at this time. Please call again later", another number, I was on hold for 20 minutes and then disconnected. Another number I was on hold for about 10 minutes and was then told "It must be a different company (after I spelled my name for the guy in Pakistan or somewhere FIVE times). We don't have any record of your order". I just spoke with my bank, they have cancelled my credit card so that it cannot be charged for future product and they will issue me a new card with a different number so that it cannot be charged "unless they captured your account and routing number". I will watch carefully. I feel like the stupid one. I order online all the time and have NEVER had a problem before.

I have gone through the same situation that each of you have. I spent an hour and a half on 11/17 trying to cancel the acai berry supreme. And ofcourse their [protected] number did not work. I ended up canceling my debit card and getting a new one as I had to cancel by today 11/19. Through another blog's recommendation, I tried the following: www.whiteteaacai.com a few minutes ago. I scrolled all the way down to a white link that says Live chat. I finally got someone by the name of Sharif who asked me for info and helped me cancel the product today. After I asked what the issue was with the number listed on the order form and on the bottle, Sharif wrote "We are experiencing a high call volume. We have a phone que and once it reaches its max compacity it will not let anymore calls in and it will give you a busy signal, hang up or it will tell you number is not in service.". This is too much of a pain and not worth it.

I just called 2 minutes ago, with the above number...[protected], they said it was the wrong number, not to their company and that I was not in their system. This is FRAUD! The cs rep told me to call my bank and dispute the charges.

Acai Berry Fraudulent charges

Hi!

My story continued today regarding this scam...There is no other number. Today, they charged my card for the shipping of the trial I ordered (and authorized). There was another phone number associated with that transaction, [protected], so I called to try and cancel any future shipments but I got someone at a desk at Capital One. That poor girl has been getting all these calls for the "White Tea" transactions! Anway, I called my bank and explained the situation. They told me to file a report with Visa, not disputing the shipping charge, but to report the fraudulant merchant and request my card be cancelled. So, my plan is to avoid ever getting charged for future shipments. My bank assured me that I would not have to pay for those charges if they were to post.

SO, IN SUMMARY CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY OR BANK AND FILE A DISPUTE, REQUESTING YOUR CARD BE CANCELLED ASAP.

Also, I have no intention of trying their product...if they cannot be trusted in doing business, how do I even know what is in their product? The thought of it creeps me out! I just got back from a local natural supplement store and decided to buy Acai Berry juice the old fashioned way! Why didn't I think of that before...

I did order the product and never received it. I ordered it on 1159 and on 1209 the took the $5.95 out of my credit card account. I have called them numerous of times got disconnected 3 times and on 2 occations I could not understand the person I was talking to and she could not understand me. I am worried that they will try and take out the $78.88 for the bottle I never received. My credit card company can't do anything about it until they take it.
Thanks

Before purchasing anything over the internet, look at the terms and conditions because it will tell you everything you need to know to keep you from getting scammed. I ordered the Acai Berry Supreme with white tea, and the terms and conditions states they will charge you the 88 dollars within 15 days of the date of your order. I printed out the terms and conditions and I was able to cancel it, but I do remember it being difficult to get hold of someone. I tried the product and absolutely loved it, but $88 is a bit much for me, so I've tried several others from the health food store, but none of them has been as good as this one. I was losing 1 to 2 pounds a day on this. I'm still not wanting to pay the price, so I am still looking for a cheaper alternative. Remember to print out the terms and conditions before signing up for anything!

Yes, I also was scammed, and experienced the very same response from the company that everyone else has. I call it a hard lesson learned. With all the problems this company has caused, I would think someone would be able to shut it down.

Yep, they got me too, or my wife rather, but I'm having to go through all of this trying to get a hold of someone at that # and get the money returned, so far no luck at either.

Me too. I filed a complaint with the BBB and cancelled my debit card. On a less serious side, when filing an on-line complaint with the BBB they state that certain "type" of people are often targeted for scams and they only asked if I was a veteran or a senior citizen. They need to add...overweight, tried everything and desperate.

I too was recently ripped off by White Tea. I ordered the free trial for $5 and some change. It was shipped to me in 7 days just like they promised. Two weeks later they charged my account $88 and some change.

I immediately called my bank who insisted that I call the company...which I did only to learn that the number was out of service.

To make a long story short...my bank (BOA) temporarily reimbursed. Of course i have to go through the ninety day invsetigation for the finale decision.

My ATM card had to be cancealed and everything...what a big inconvience these people have caused me.

Acai Berry Cannot reach company to cancel shipments

I ordered a free trial of the Acai Berry supplement called Acai Berry Supreme...You have to cancel the order within 15 days of the trial if you do not want to be charged $88.62 + shipping for a months supply. The Terms and Conditions provide a phone number to call, [protected]...but the number doesn't work at all. There's no ringing, busy signal, or voicemail...just a click and you're disconnected.

This will be reported to my credit card company to ensure they are aware of the scam.

Like everyone esle, I too had an extremely difficult ending this "trail." They have multiple customer service lines that are not in service so I had to do my research. Two out of the three numbers I found were disconnected (including the one on their website). I waited thirty minutes to talk to a representative only to be hassled into maintaining a membership with them. I called again hoping to talk to someone that would actually listen to me and I did. I was told my member ship would be canceled but a week later I get a billed $90+! I called again and was told that I should have canceled sooner which is absurd because that is why I called twice the day before. Another thing is that AFTER signing up for this trial the policies changed. I was also sent a bottle of cleanse which meant that is a whole seperate trial. I had to cancel two trials and it was a pain. This company is a complete scam! If you want to try their product(s), I suggest you buy them off of ebay. It will save you time, money and give you a peace of mind.

THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM. DON NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. This is not a free anything. They have your account information and will continue charging untill you return the unused portion certified mail. This is just more money out of you pocket. And... it does not work. It has made me constipated and nauseaed.

I also got the "free trial" for $5.95. Then I received an email that my order for another was due to arrive. I tried calling the number on the bottle and could not get through. I went back to the website and sent an email through their contacts (go to the bottom of the webpage and click on the Term and Conditions and you will see a link to send an email. Today I find responses to my emails and they gave me an RMA number to send back the shipment. Hopefully this will work. I merely said in my email that I wished to cancel any further shipments and request the RMA number following the returns and refund policy (also at the bottom of the page).

Anyone who feels ripped off can contact www.ic3.gov, This is the FBI internet complaint Dept. and Your own states Attorney General and the Florida Attorney General and file a complaint about this. If enough people complain maybe we can stop this and maybe get some of our money back.

I finally got through and talked to Jeff at [protected]. Of course, s/he canceled my order. Of course, s/he was very polite. Of course, when I asked about the name of the company, s/he had hard time spelling it. Of course, s/he was not allowed to give me the name of the CEO although I stated that is public information! So for all of you who were scammed, just like me, here is the address to which you can return the product, and after a careful consideration, the Refund Dept. will decide whether to refund you (and me:))! Hey everyone. I was unable to reach this company after my free trial and was very upset. I did not want to be charged that amount of money so I just canceled my debit card. It only cost me $5 with my bank to receive a new card number. It has been about 2 weeks since the trial ended and I was supposed to get charged. I have not received a bill in the mail or anything. If you can do that I recommend it because you'll never get through to them!

Good Luck!

This is a scam. I have received about 15 invoices to magazine subscriptions that I did not order. Has anyone read the privacy policy on the website? If not you better. It states it shares all your info: name address email addy & best yet your method of payment & account numbers! Of course I cant get through to cancel. I called my bank since I used a visa debit card to purchase it & had to completely cancel the card so if any charges came through on it they would be denied. what a mess.
