First trip today July 15 3018 went to family dollar. Got a few items including the car freshener. Came home still in the car and took it out and not all parts were in it so I started car and went back. Walked to the items and all of that brand was the same. So picked another brand and as I was walking to regesterband found the drinking mug. Came home and rinsed it out and made me a nice mug of ice tea. Sat down and you can't even suck the straw and get anything. Checked the straw all I get is air. I'm am so upset I'm. It going back. I was in the hospital last night and this reall has me upset. I might say something to the poor girl working there. What the heck am I going to do with this useless mug. Ok I'm stopping now before I get too upset

I was choosing a lipstick and behind me was a man so close that I literally felt sexually harrassed, that's how close he was to my butt When I turned and saw that it was the manager of the store, I realized that he was racially profiling me for " lingering too long" in the cosmetic section.
What is so incredible about this whole situation is that minutes ago, there was a young blonde and blue eyed fellow who was making such a scene, cursing and spraying on the cologne that was on the shelf, while his girlfriend was pleading with him to leave the store. No manager was insight of this commotion.
I am a nurse and I was in my company's scrubs that day, also a regular customer and I mean an every week customer because of the convenience and I can't stand the discrimination at Walmart, being followed and the usual discrimination that African Americans have to endure.
Another store to eliminate, what a shame that Amazon gets even more of my business.

A Young Lady by the name of Kendra told me that someone from on top said that is is only 1 paper coupon to be use in the store located on Kensington in the plaza in buffalo new york. I told her that is incorrect and she bot even follow the legel rule per verbage on the coupon I tried to reach out to speak with some from family dollar i left a message and no one has reached back out to me and that bogus hotline number they said to contact them at never patches you through to anyone and when you press the prompts to move ahead as per the verbal direction its like a broken record say please press 2 blaugh blaugh...

An employee of your company wrongly accused me taking something from that store. It was that eployee's wrongly viewed me on there video camera. Then they wouldn't even let me see this supposed tape. Let alone inform me what I didn't even take from that store. Which proves they have no evidence on me period. I am the real victom in this situation. I have been totally violated; my good name has been completely tarnished. This not even close to the real situation. I really need to talk to an actual person. In order yo recertify this incident to toward the rightful solution.

I go to this Family Dollar in Hastings, Ne. constantly. It's close to my home & convenient. I don't even care that the employees talk & complain a lot to each other. I've been there twice this week & couldn't break a $20. She keeps saying they switch the drawer between 2-3p. I've never had this problem before. By the way it was 3:30p. How do you not have change to break a $20? I've worked at numerous places & when we change the drawer out we have money to break a $20. I'm just not going to bother anymore. I'll do the drive to get what I need. Please check into this store.

Why can't a 17year old child shop without a parent? This store is horrible! Your manager is up on charges for animal cruelty but that's OK with your company to have an animal killer run this crap fest you call a store. The employees are lazy! Do you even watch the tape!? The head manager is rude and calls all the customers ghetto bumbs to they face! She needs to pull HER damn pants up she's not a man but acts the part! She's sleeping with employees and weed is being sold at this location! Where is the two guys you had? Bring them back. And y the shelves are never stocked? If I trip over a box again it's going to be trouble it's not safe. Get security or close! Your company don't care about safety at all! Newburgh SMH not safe at this store police ignore it to chase after traffic tickets not watching this store at all. I'm done not shopping here anymore since teens need a parent were done here! Good bye!

I have been a longtime customer of Family Dollar i purchased a 3 pak of hanes boxer brief underwear and mistakenly chose the boys instead of men underwear i did open the package but did not wear or touch product the manager at the store #[protected] S. Commercial, Chicago Ill. 60617 refused to refund or exchange said product his name is Derrick Staples my phone is [protected]

Although now avoiding this Family Dollar store because it is always so messy and filthy, as it's just one block from my house, I popped in once again and was more appalled than ever by the shocking disorder. About 6 or 7 employees behind the counter...only 2 registers open...but as usual, clothes and foods on the floors, shelves partly empty or disarrayed, every aisle scattered with trash or fallen products, and the floors polka-dotted with ground-in gum, candy, whatever. This is apparently the 2nd Manager in its' 3 year(?) history, and no improvements whatsoever have been made. I am loathe to stop at any Family Dollar store now, as I perceive that Corporate does not investigate or demand higher standards from their franchises.

Cashier name Corina send inappropriate pictures to customers while at work. Took a inappropriate bathroom selfie during work hour exposing herself. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. It appears she has the tendency to send inappropriate pictures to all men customers. When confronted she sent it was her. Clearly you can see the Family Dollar logo and the color of their employees t-shirt.

On 7/9/2018 at 2:27 pm i went to Family Dollar store located on 9430 cullen houston, tx 77051.I was returning some shoes so i put my bag down. I proceeded to shop for the right items. I got 2 pair of shoes and a towel which wasnt part of the transaction. The manager was the only register open. So i presented my merchandise to her at that time she asked me what was i doing? I told her "remind you she had 1 line open n 8 ppl behind me. I let a lady go in front of me cuz i didn't have the reciept. She then looked at me and rolled her eyes. I retrieved the receipt and dats when it started. Will explain everything. This the 5th time she's been disrespectful and destrimanationing against me. Im gay n her words where very disturbing. This isn't the 1st time but last. Im taking legal actions against Family Dollar and her in which she wouldn't give me her name. I then called cooperate and talk to Mr. Ivan n he also was rude and NO HELP at all. Smh it's sad because i stay 5 mins from this store and can't even shop in peace without embarrassed disrespected and less then. She said some ugly words that hurts me so bad to even repeat. I want something to be done about this. Im not the only customer had this problem my other friend gay and she did the same thing to her. So i know its discrimination. What happened to the family dollar coffee you had in stores medium roast you don't carry it anymore this is good coffee why would you take it off the shelves it seems like every time something is good and a lot of people buy this item you take it off the shelves and put something else on shelves or different brand I want this item back in the store

I had a horrible experience at this location I walked in shopping for laundry detergent I was rudely approached by the assistant manager he came up to me yelling at me stating I'm not allowed in the store he stated he saw me before I stole from that family dollar and he recognized me I was shocked from this behavior especially for a assistant manager he was pointing at me and was yelling aggressively at this point I didn't feel comfortable or safe in the store anymore he went on to talk behind my back to the cashier when I got my item and walked back in line I was stared down by the cashier I asked to speak to the manager and he approached me again rudely and aggressive and stated that he is the assistant manager and that the main manager will be there the following day but it wouldn't matter because she will recognize me too for stealing from the store the cashier asked my age and realized they may had the wrong person she gave me a $0.50 cent discount and the manager made excuses for his apology honestly this was the worst customer service I have ever received in my life I was to the point of calling the cops for harassment and discrimination the Assistant manager name that acted so poorly was Jerome and the cashier Delilah these people caused a scene in front of the customers and embarrassed me I suffer from anxiety and I was to the point of having a panic attack

07/08/18 Hello Tonight I needed to run by Family Dollar Store in Wise VA. 24293. I was trying to get to the store before it closed and I had 7 minutes to spare when I arrived and they had already locked the doors and there was several people trying to get in. I think if you state on the door that they close at 9:00 P.M. they should close at that time. We motioned to the sales clerk it was almost 10 till and she just shrugged her shoulders at us. I was extremely upset as I had to drive way out of the way to get what I needed.
I hope you will address this with the store manager.

Ok I live across the street from one of your stores in Fort Smith AR, on N. O St. Store # 3920. I spend A LOT OF MONEY IN YOUR STORE. I am going to start going to General Dollar Store down the road or Walart because your cooperation does not care about it's employees. This store has been out of air-conditioning for about a 2 months now & the employees working are being kind to customers but are miserable working in such hot conditions & I'm miserable walking in there as a customer. It makes me wonder why I do spend so much money in there to support you & not Wal Mart when you don't care about your own employees well being? As a customer I'm only stopping in there because I like your "employees" who should be given something "nice" from you at corporate just for keeping their jobs & not walking out on you for such terrible conditions. Today I went there & it was 94 outside & 82 inside. You should be ashamed of yourself & you should live in the south & see how you hold up with a box fan on the floor at your Job. It takes 2 mins to call to fix it & y'all have dropped the ball. .. sincerely a discussed customer with corporate management of the Family Dollar Store on her way to another store if you don't right your wrong! Shame on you!

A man at the Lebanon Ohio family Dollar was very rude when i went to return an item that i had the receipt for and he had told me i can't return it because it's been opened, I've seen the return policy and I've returned electrics before. He told me it was a waist of time to contact you guys because you would tell me the same thing. That I'm not aloud to return an item that doesn't seem to work.

If an item isn't working right and has been opened you should be able to return it for your money, all stores do it. My item didn't work and I'd like my money back .
My item was a ihop speaker, the advertisement on the box lied, it wasn't as loud as it said it was. Doesn't hook to TV's properly, so why am i not aloud to get my money back with the item and the original receipt? That's an outrage. I plan to call corprate and i will never return to the store because the man was a complete an total JERK.

Manager cursing customers and store filthy .employees standing around laughing about how this particular store was where they sent the people who didn't work well or get along with others. Most shelves empty .clothes all on floor.food out of date.employees saying they have weeks worth of trucks merchandise in the back yet to be brought out due to the run over rate of the employees.most cashiers and managers only there a few weeks and new replace them .

Store # 8794 Galveston Texas. I wanted to purchase a 60 minute airtime card. Customer
pays and receives a pin number on the receipt. When I put the pin # into phone, no airtime was added. Tracfone customer care informed me that I had purchased (airtime
double card) . I asked for a 60 minute airtime card. Went back to store with my receipt.

Manager claimed he could not exchange one for the other. Family dollar does not take returns on electronics. The cash register would not allow return. The monitor said insufficient funds. the dollar amount between $21.00 and $22.00. MANAGER STATED HE WOULD NOT TAKE $20.00 OUT OF HIS POCKET. I INFORMED HIM I HAD TAKEN $21.00 ALREADY. All I want is my 60 minute airtime card. Give my money back I can go somewhere else. This problem could be fixed with a phone call. Tracfone customer care [protected]. Corporate [protected]. The manager that was the cashier was very rude and using profanity and pointing all in the other employees face. The other employee was very calm and processional she kept her cool and she apologized for her employees behavier. I be in this store maybe 3 times a week and every time I come to this location this manger is always sitting down or on her cell phone. I think the lady name is Benito that was calm and very respectable but the other young lady i really dont know her name. I really not sure if ill be coming back it the other lady is their. The store that i attended was 03149. This is not the first time the manager was being rude I attended last week and she refused to ring up a customer because of her coupons. I think the company will be loosing money with that manager..

07/05/2018 have a sales on Rubbermaid Takealongs, 2/5.00 they ring up 3.00 ea, talked to the manager was told that what was in the ad was on corporate, and that it was up to them (corporate) to fix the register, and I asked did I pick up the wrong ones since the ones I picked up matched the picture could not tell me since they was out of ads and (I didn't know I would have to bring my from home), and that I would have to pay the price that came up and that they would not honor was in the sales ad. I could not believe this, so I left the store. not happy with the service, and lately the smartcoupon is not working and so I stop using it, very disappointed with Family Dollar lately

This happen 7-5-18 at 1 o'clock pm. John who I believe is a manager and another employee who refused to give me her name racially profiled me today. I was in the store address 3205 crill ave palatka Florida 32177 when i was approached by John who said " I have to follow you because you have a jacket on" He also stated "yesterday we caught two people stealing". I instantly felt unwelcome and uncomfortable due to the fact that I was being followed. He stated that everyone that comes in the store wearing a jacket has to be followed. I ask if that was store policy and he stated "no". Being that I'm a young Hispanic male with tattoos I instantly felt I was being racially profiled. I never want to go threw this again. I feel that since it wasn't store policy to follow a person wearing a jacket John as well as the other black female who was working this day were racially profiling me because of the way I look and should be fired immediately.
