CITGO review: The manager

The first incident I do not remember the exact date or time. I was in the Citgo where I live in Rockford MI on 10 Mile/East Division. The manager and a co-worker were talking about another employee named Rhonda. Unfortunately I do not remember exactly what was said but it was inappropriate to say a co-workers name. the manager and other employee were acting like High schoolers.

The other incident was Friday October 13, 2023 around 9 am. My husband and I are in there almost everyday. He always gets a fountain pop sprite. This time he was not with me I took a sip of the pop and I thought it tasted funny like there was no sprite flavor just the carbonation. I tried another sip after I paid and went out to my car and that taste was still there. I then went in and said something to the manager and she said "you are wrong I changed the sprite 2 days ago" and turned her head to dismiss me. I am not one that starts fights or likes confrontation. I stood there for a second to see if she would change it and she looked at me and said "Bye' I could not believe it she did not even check to see if there was a problem so I paid for something that was pretty much trash I took it home my husband tried it and sure enough it tasted nothing like sprite. I know fountain drinks only coast a dollar and some change, but I am not a millionaire nor do I have money to just throw away. I will never go back into that store again I will drive a little bit further to another gas station. I will still go to Citgo because this is not the company's fault just a very rude manager. I spend quit a bit of money in that store my husband and I smoke and we usually buy 2 packs of cigarettes' a day plus some extra stuff and gas, but after that I am done.
