Chrysler No courtesy car provided-waited forty days to get car back

We have two children that were required to be picked up from school and taken to their fall sports during this time as well as my daughter was required to be taken and picked up from her job. Also, for my job, I work in the office and my wife Kelly works from home. Having one car was extremely difficult to juggle all the things we had to do. I had to tell my job that I needed to work from home most of the time, which did not go over well with my manger. We could not be in two places at the same time.

There is no further assistance that we will be providing - rental is not a provision of the warranty and we assisted with the repair - we do not assist with deductibles - that was what the agreement entailed and there will be no changes

As per company Policy no further assistance will be provided - if there was a sc in place this would have provided possible further assistance.

MVP US [protected] - should you wish to purchase one for future piece of mind.

Desired outcome: We were told by another person that helped us when Leanne did not respond, we would get some type of compensation for the inconvenience for not having our car for the extended period of time (40 days).

Chrysler I have a 2006 jeep wrangler. It will not start.

I changed the resister element on my heater blower motor. After the change I tried to start the engine; it would not start; no power to the fuel pump, and the starter solenoid. I have contacted at least three mechanics so far. No one can fix the jeep. I have had the key switch, a crankshaft sensor changed which did not help at all. I had one mechanic with a fair knowledge of print reading ability,; he could not find the problem. All the dealership maintenance personal can only change out components until they finally get the right one. This is NOT a proper troubleshooting technique. No one my area can fix my vehicle. What can I do to get me jeep fixed? Jerry W. Welch, My email is; [protected]@yahoo.com. I would like to know what the problem is. Thank you.

Desired outcome: help, and fix my problem. I have found that there is a complaint with this type of situation in about all Chrysler Products. I need somebody who is knowledgeable enough to fix the jeep.

Chrysler Financing

Hello:

My name is Brian Elliott. I purchased a 2020 Jeep Cherokee in February 2021 from your Peel Chrysler at 212 Lakeshore Rd Mississauga. At the time I was given a financing deal of 0% for 96 months. I was also given the impression that the bank required an additional $4,000 in warranties and appearance upgrades to secure this deal. I did not object as I wanted some but not all of this, the 0% financing kept this within my budget. I was also told that there would be an 18-moth credit review, which made some sense, since I have been separated for 8 years now but my Ex will not give me a documented separation agreement. Again, at the time I pick up the car John the used car sales manager told me that this was only a credit review and if the bank tried to change the deal to contact him and he would take care of it. So, after the 18 months the bank has changed the deal from 0% for 96 months to 6% for 60 months increasing my payments by 20%. I contacted John who sent me on to Daevon Clarke. This has now been another 2 months and it is obvious that you have not been able to get my original deal back. At a minimum we had a verbal contract that this would not happen. So the additional warranties etc. cost me $4,000 and now the increase in the financing is costing me an additional $8,000. This is not fair nor what I had agreed to in 2021 but now I have no choice in the matter which I did at the time I purchased the car.

Chrysler Jeep Grand Cherokee L

we have had this jeep to the dealership for the same issue now 3 times, with over a total time away from us is more than a month. engine or transmission noise. they have replaced one of the exhaust catalysts and still there is a thumping noise.

we also have had this Jeep in for radio issues, all about missing updates.

the radio issues are very distracting when the radio, air conditioner and navigation control is locked up when the radio acts up it becomes a Safety concern.

Desired outcome: we are tired of paying for Jeep that we can't drive while it is at the shop either they fix or replace

I leased my grand cherokee in april of 2022. The compass has not worked ,, the paddle shifter does notwork... The radio goes a littlr hay wire when changong a station when on sirius... The passenger seat does not heat properly not warm enough... The right door passenger door lock does not work...I have visited the dealership 5 times since may... My name is pete i have been to friendly cdjr in washington mi.

Chrysler 2017 Jeep Wrangler Leak repair service

I Bought a 2017 Jeep Wrangler UT with 217 miles. Under my 3yr/36000 mile warranty I took my truck in for water leaks on both sides in front. April, June, July and Oct. of 2019. It has been in shop for water leaks four times in which the same repairs was done from replacing weatherstrips door to body, e-sealing front door right, e-sealing front door left, resealing A pillar on right side, replace butyl rope, twice replace passenger side front door seal, weatherstrip header, reseal freedom targa top and sent to body shop to repair windshield frame surface. Now under my extended warranty July, 2022 I was told even though its the same leak that my extended service contract doesn't cover water leaks so Ziegler charged me around 843 dollars to replace my weatherstrips. The service advisor said they found that my weatherstrip was pinched after that repair the leak worsened. As of today Oct 13,2022 my car has been in shop since Sept.28,2022 with no communication at all about the same water leaks except it's worse. Before dropping it off I contacted the service manager in which he said he will again send to body shop with no charge. I love my truck in which this is the second wrangler that I have purchased but I'm very unsatisfied with the results. The inconvenience, uncertainty, the customer service, the cost, internal rust and trust has all been a terrible question of WHY.

Desired outcome: 1.Refund of purchase price,2. Replacement vehicle or3. cash and keep

Chrysler 2015 Dodge Dart

I bought my Dart late 2017, since I've had it, I have had no issues with it aside from routine maintenance. However, a few months ago I had to replace my battery, after doing so my Dart started experiencing major electrical issues (Dash/head lights flickering off, multiple error messages, total power loss while driving). I made an appointment at my local Chrysler dealer (Victory Motors in Craig, CO) and was informed that I have 2 recalls that I was never told about and that one of them, an update to the PMC, would fix the issues I was experiencing.

The day after the update my car had no power and had to be jumped, so I took it back to the dealer. I was told there was a loose cable on my battery and that the car should now be running fine. The next day, my check engine light came on and my headlights won't turn on at all now. I went into the dealer a third time to speak to a sales manager. I was told that it is the manufacturers responsibility to inform customers of recalls and that the PMC recall/update actually has nothing to do with my electrical problems. I feel like every time I go to my dealer, I'm being told conflicting things about what the issue is.

I now have a third appointment for my car on October 20th, I have already been dealing with these issues for a month now.

Desired outcome: I would like Chrysler to pay for the repairs caused by not informing me of these recalls or high value on a trade in.

Chrysler Pentastar Tick 2014 Town & Country

Purchased a used Chrysler 2014 Town & Country years ago and its run quite well. Only up to 118,000 miles on it with occasional affordable repairs. No accidents and in great shape. Until the check engine light came on and the error code indicated a misfire. After weeks, two visits to mechanics and hundreds of dollars later I have learned about the infamous "Pentastar Tick." Which affects a number of models and years. I also learned how Chrysler extended the warranty for the parts involved to ten years or 150,000 miles. But only for the 2011 to 2013 models. Now, on September 27th, 2022, the local Chrysler dealer has told me that it will cost over $4,600 to fix this "Pentastar Tick." On a vehicle I only owe eight thousand on. I am amazed and appalled that Chrysler is not addressing this issue that its known about for years on the vehicles its selling.

Desired outcome: This repair being included under the warranty Chrysler extended for models using the same parts and me not having to spend $4,600+ to fix a problem this company already knows about.

Chrysler RAM Ecodiesel Truck Exhaust system

How is it possible that a 5 year old truck with 22,000 miles has complete failure of the exhaust system. I have been told they need to replace two NOX sensors and that is $4000. Really, wow! I am almost 60 years old and I have never had a vehicle with exhaust gas, DEF system failure. This should be a covered repair due to design defect, part defects. Worse, the dealership, San Antonio RAM on IH 35, Universal City, TX did only one sensor. Then came back and said we need to do the other one. Doubled the cost of labor. I had the truck scanned for codes and told them there were two NOX sensors out. Why repair one, then go back in again. That bone headed decision put $700 extra in labor on my bill. The service representative, Victor Tristan cannot be located for hours, doesn't keep me informed and has had the truck for 5 days as of this complaint. Mostly because they do not inform me what is even wrong until one day after the diagnostic is run.

Desired outcome: I would like San Antonio Chrysler Dodge,11910 IH 35 to refund $700 in labor This was needless labor, diagnostic showed both sensors failed. They replaced one. Should be covered repair entirely as it is a failed emission system design.

Chrysler September 5th contract fraud

my and I purchase a new 2022 300 chrysler at moss bros chrysler of san bernardino california the car is great but first at all has acouple issues like the mirrors ligths for detecting the cars behind doesn't work the screen changed automatically ok tha's an issue i can handle with service department the more important is the contract next day of the purchase i read the contract carefully i found discrepancies cash price vehicle $36,250 first issue car price $30,045 is the one i should and they agree the car wasn't there come from moreno valley California so why bring a car far away for a higher price no make cents second issue what's portfolio $3,995 dllrs + chrysler $ 1,495 i asked never explained ignored me i traide in a 2018 pathfinder they suppostly gonna paiy for $ 19,000 dllrs and on the contract shoulds $17,500 why lie so the payoff of this truck were $26,079.15 - $17,500 were $8,579.15 where is the downpayment deduction $2000 +manufacture rebate $3000 and they never add the $500 dllrs for been a military so instead all this deductions the total price when until $55,683.84 when has to be just the car price + lowjack +gap + tax & licence so total price is $40,621.09 not included the the rebate $-3000 $-2000 downpayment & $500 military discount so at the amount just add the outside doww 0f $8579.15 -the $5,500 deductions mentioned above is onlty $3079 + $40,621.09= $43,700.09 +2.9% interest so i need an explanation of all this extra charges i mentioned above since the begining i hope you can clear this missunderstanding and fixed

Very disappointed in the LACK of Customer Service in the Service Department! They really DO NOT care about any individuals or expediting a repair!

Brought my Vehicle (2017 Chrysler Pacifica) into the dealership on Thursday, September 15th at 7:30 AM as my appointment was scheduled. When I made the appointment, I told them of the Check Engine light on and the issue with the power steering hanging up! I sat there from 7:30 AM till almost 11 AM when the service man came to tell me that they did my oil change but were too BUSY to look at the other problems! After some conversation I finally agreed to re-schedule for Wednesday, September 21st, 2022, at 8:00 AM. This time after waiting till almost 1 PM I was told that they needed to contact Fidelity Warranty Services, INC. before doing anything for authorization!

Apparently, my Rack and Pinion Steering needed to be replaced (60,000 miles on the vehicle). They did give me a rental (thank God) that they are paying for! The Fidelity Inspector did not show up till Friday, September 23, at 3 PM - said he would submit his report late Monday! So now until the report is read and authorized nothing is going to happen! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Desired outcome: Get my vehicle fixed and back to me!

Chrysler New truck purchase

Hello! I’m hoping you can help us. My hubby traded in his old truck and bought a new Dodge Ram last fall at Classic Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Pineville. We financed through Chrysler, and found out in March that our vehicle wasn’t registered with the DMV. We have been unable to pay our property tax and registration for the truck. We contacted the DMV and they said the dealer has to initiate the paperwork for a new vehicle. We have called and emailed the dealership half a dozen times and they refuse to call or reply. The better business bureau shows a terrible rating for this dealership.

In the meantime we are making payments and paying insurance for a vehicle we don’t legally own. And it has had dead tags since March.

Chrysler 2020 Dodge Ram 3500

The diesel pump has been recalled on this vehicle. According to the recall the pump can stop at any time while you are driving. I have been trying to get the pump replaced for over 18 months and cannot get it fixed. I call customer care and they said they cannot do anything about the problem.. I had one dealer Twin City Dodge in Lafayette and they could not get the part.. I contacted the next nearby dealer York Chrysler in Crawfordville Indiana and they cannot get the part for the past 3 months.. I called a dealer in Monticello Indiana just to see if they could get the part and their service department said "Good Luck" trying to get this repair there is over 800,000 vehicles with this recall. Nobody at Dodge gives a damn about this problem.

Desired outcome: Get the pumps in so I can drive this vehicle.

Chrysler Chrysler pacifica

I got the mini van in 2021,it has giving me problems of speeding up on turns.It will seem like the transmision isn't catching than it just takes off at a high rate of speed.Also has quit at stop signs and has to be started again.The display screen has shut off completely and than lights back up and reboots.Dealer says can't find anything.I pray this doesn't cause a accident.

Chrysler Town & Country Headrest

I am writing you today regarding an issue that I had with the passenger side headrest on my 2013 Town and Country. Driving down the road the headrest suddenly made a loud noise and and the front part fell forward. Fortunately, no one was sitting in the passenger seat when it occurred, but it scared me. I am not sure what caused the incident, but I am not able to get the headrest to go back to a secure position.

Desired outcome: I am curious what would have caused the issue and should I be concerned that it might happen to the drivers side. Given the circumstances, I would like to have the headrest replaced.

Chrysler Airbag not deployed in highway accident

On Sept 1st 2022, 630am I was recently hit by a suv on the right driver side quarter panel and door. My 2016 200's proceeded to hit the guard rail impacting the passenger front, quarter panel, door and rear quarter panel, all at highway speed.

My vehicle was deemed totaled at a loss costing over 21k to repair and not one airbag deployed?

As I researched the airbag event this has been a known concern put to Chrysler.

Chrysler 2016-200 chrysler

On 9-6-22 I took my Chysler 200 (2016) for a recall. Chysler dodge ram at 11910 N IH 35 san antonbio tx. I received on 9-7-22 call from Staff telling me that while they were working on it the mechanic broke something, and they where going to need no time. I asked for a rental. It has been a week and still do not have a rental or when I am going to get my car back. After a week off phone calls, now they will not answer me. The front desk says they are busy w/customer and will call me back (they do not). As a disable person I need my vehical to get around. Missed doc appts and much more.

Desired outcome: An apology would not help at the time. Componsate me like free oil changes for a year and free air filters

Chrysler Uconnect

I purchased a new 2019 Chrysler 300 from Jim Shorkey CDJR North Hills on October 26, 2019. The car includes the Uconnect 4C Nav with 8.4 inch display. Hands free dialing was promised and an agent of the dealership synched my phone to the system. Hands-free calling stopped working earlier this year. After some time, I noticed that the Uconnect no longer contained the contacts from my phone. After several months of dealing with my phone manufacturer, my phone service provider, Uconnect, Chrysler Business Center and the Dealer I've been told that (for some reason) my phone (Coolpad Legacy) is no longer supported and I will need to buy a new (compatible) phone. I seek payment for the cost of a new phone.

Chrysler Delay in issuing buy- out check as promised case #'s [protected] & [protected]

6/30/22-I took my car to Victorville Motors in Victorville Ca because my check

engine light was on.

7/8/22- I received a call from service representative Jason Mitchell who

informed me the tear down of my vehicle revealed internal damage

that would require the replacement of my engine. He was working on

getting it approved through my coverage but were waiting on an

inspector to approve their findings.

7/13/22-I was informed by Mr. Mitchell the request was denied because the cost

to replace the engine was upwards of $11,000.00 exceeding my car's

value. He said they were giving me a buy out of $8500.00. I asked when

the check would be issued and he only knew it would be forwarded to

the dealer and I would be notified.

8/1/22- After waiting for several weeks I called Mopar. I spoke with Taneisha

and was told the claim was still being processed .I requested a

Supervisor or a Manager and was told neither was available but I

would receive a return call from management in 48 hours .I am still

waiting 624 hours later.

8/7/22- Called Mopar again and spoke with Patrick,Taylor and Ryan

consecutively. No help.

8/7/22- (later in the day) Spoke with Elizabeth.I was told to use case #

[protected]. No help.

8/11/22- Spoke was told the claim was still being processed but the dealer

could call and have the claim expedited.

8/11/22- called back spoke with Athena. No help.

8/11/22- Called back and spoke with Regan. She says she spoke with a

Supervisor who informed her that the check processing took 30

" working" days to process .I should not expect a check before

8/26/22.

8/22/22- Went to Victorville Motors and Spoke with Jason. Told him I

was told the dealer could call and have the check expedited.

He called Mopar and was told that was not so.

Desired outcome: Receive the $8500.00 buy out that the dealer was told I would receive to allow me to pay them the $3,000.00 they are charging me for checking my car and replacing the catalytic converter. I really need my car.[protected]@verizon.net

Chrysler Dodge ram diesel def system repair

Ram DEF system nightmare

Recently I got a warning on my 2018 Dodge Ram dash board screen , that there was a problem with my ABS system so I scheduled an appointment with my Dodge dealer .

Prior to departing for the dealer I topped off the DEF system with Valvolene DEF .

On the way to the dealership my check engine light came on , so when I turned my truck in for service , I. Informed them of the service light problem as well as the ABS system problem.

I purchased an extended warranty in 2019 upon buying my used 3/4 ton Dodge Ram Diesel .

After the dealership having my truck over a week and a half , with no status report ,I called to check on the progress they were making on it.

The answer I received was they were waiting on a part for the ABS , however the engine warning light after their diagnosis with their computer told them the DEF system needed to be checked out.

Upon further inspection they said the system’s DEF was contaminated and had destroyed several components in the system

and the cost to repair was an estimated $4100 and it was not covered by my extended warranty !

They told us most auto insurance usually pay for this .

After asking our auto insurance if they covered this and hearing they don’t ,

I became very upset , after Dodge had me over a barrel ,so I agreed to have the repairs done .

I know for a fact that I’m the only one to add DEF to my truck .

I asked them if they sent the contaminated DEF to a lab and they said they had no way of doing that .

I personally missed the boat on not having them not save a sample for me to have analyzed .

Supposing or assuming the contaminate was Diesel can not be confirmed without a lab report .

For all I know the DEF I put in its tank could have been contaminated and they could have found this out for me .

For a fact I was never shown the bad fluid or the diagnostic computer read out stating the problem .

Desired outcome: Reimbursement in part or full , because dealership didn’t have contaminated DEF annualized by lab to determine the contaminant.Which would possibly saved me this expense

Chrysler door panels on my chrysler 300

this is my forth email with no response from chrysler. i have a chrysler 300 that i bought NEW. and it only has 15,000 miles on it. all 4 of the door panels have swelled and dont line up with the windows, plus it looks really bad. i offered to take it back to the dealer where i bought it [ heratage chrysler ,ram in ownings mills md. ] chrysler hasnt bothered to even respond back to me. i offered to take it back to the dealerbut still havent heard from anyone.i know im thinking about buying another new vehicle but if chrysler doesnt get back to me soon, than ill look at other car manufactures. this is my 5th chrysler 300 and have never had a problem like this in the past. i would like someone to get back to me
