Chrysler Landmark Dodge in Kansas City Missouri

My experience with Landmark was the worst one I have ever had with a dealership. I bought my last 2015 citadel Durango here and thought I would come back and buy another. Never been treated so disrespectfully in my life. There five minutes and left, had upcharges nobody else has on top of the sticker price. Asked questions about why they had 1100.00 charge on freight when the sticker price already had a destination charge. Told me you know how not to pay it don't buy it. Never introduced his self-came out acted totally, unprofessional and rude. I will never buy another car from this dealership again. I actually went and looked at Ford. Doubt if I will ever buy another Dodge ever again.

Chrysler Jeep

Chrysler does not stand behind their cars. An they are unsafe.

I had 60,000 miles on my jeep and the tppm, the part that runs the car went out. Chrysler would not stand behind the default.

Last year, January, the differential cracked. My mechanic has been in business for 30 years said he has never seen that happen.

Last week, Tuesday,

January 17, 2023, the crank case went bad and broke. The car was unsafe to drive. Again I had to have it fixed. Please make safe cars.

I will never buy another Chrysler again.

Desired outcome: Safe cars, reliable, and stand behind them. In 2 years I have spent $12,000 on this car. Unacceptable.

Chrysler Corrasion on hood of 2017 Pacifica

The hood of my 2017 Pacifica has corrosive issues. Chrysler was fully aware of the problem based upon a Collision Report [protected] dated 10/27/2020. Took car to Stateline Chrysler and was informed that warrantee expired on 4/22 for this problem and the cost to repair is over $1000. This was a problem that was due to a manufacture defect. Feel Chrysler should own up to this and cover the cost

Chrysler Windshield

I bought a 2021 Jeep Cherokee Limited Oct.2021. In Feb. 2022 a crack in the windshield appeared on the passenger side by the heated area for the wiper.

I contacted the dealer where I bought it and told them where it was cracked and they told me over the phone that it was not covered, no need to bring it in. There is no visible stone chip in the cracked area. I went to an auto glass repair shop and told them I had a cracked windshield and without looking at it he said is it cracked by the heated area by the wiper and I said yes. Since then the crack is now all the way across the windshield and has splintered off to other cracks. I have had it for service twice to the local dealership (which opened up recently) where I live and have asked for an explanation. They just did the oil change and have never said anything about the windshield. In my opinion it should have been dealt with back in Feb 2022. Why should I have to use my insurance to have this repaired.

Chrysler 2019 jeep compass / service/ warranty

Hello,

My daughter has a 2019 Jeep Compass Latitude who screen is messing up to the point that she is unable to use her backup camera: with that being said, she has an extended warranty which was purchased at the time of purchase of the vehicle. She made an appointment at one of your dealerships to have it fixed Whitten Brothers Crysler Jeep Dodge - Located 10701 Midlothian Turnpike Richmond VA 23235- phone number [protected] which is 40 minutes away from where she lives. We asked multiple times in this process of making the appointment if it is ok that we come to this dealership even though we did not purchase this vehicle at this dealership and we were advised multiple times yes it will be fine. We went to the dealership for our scheduled appointment and decided to drop it off so we can take care of some errands. Within 10 minutes of the vehicle being there, they refused to work on it and their reason was because the warranty was purchased at the previous dealership, then had the nerve to tell my daughter they were going to charge her $150 for just looking at the vehicle. We are Chrysler Family my father - in - law retired from Chrysler and have never delt with kind of behavior. Warranty have never been meant for a particular dealership. I know this from personal experience.

And now I am finding out that the dealership that we bought this vehicle at sold us a warranty that is some BS that we were charged $1500 extra for and it is with a certain bank and the repairs can only be at the dealership we purchased it at. What kind of BS is that? My daughter does not live anywhere close to the dealership. That is an even bigger inconvenience.

This dealership is not reliable, they dont even answer their phones. Last time I took my car there under warranty they tried to charge me, they held my car for several weeks, did not provide a rental and when I finally got my car back I had to return it back to dealership within 24- 48 hours because instead of actually fixing the problem they flashed it, the reason why I know they didnt fix it because I placed a sticker on the part that needed to be replaced and guess what the part and sticker was still there in the same exact spot.

Something needs to change because if this is the type of customer service that we are going to have to deal with, then we don't want to have anything to do with it. Because this kind of fraud is how this company will get sued

Just because we bought the vehicle at a certain dealership does not mean we should have to be forced to take it there. What if we are not close to that particular dealership. Warranties and extended warranties should be valid for all dealerships

Back your products and stop selling customers BS extended Warranties

Desired outcome: My daughter's car fixed from a defect that obviously is on her vehicle. Why are being charged for an extended warranty if no one will touch it.

Chrysler Genuine Daimler Chrysler Service Contract

I bought a Brand new 2008 Chrysler Grand Caravan and paid over $3000 for the "Lifetime Warranty". No where in the piece of paper I was given does it say I need to bring the vehicle in for an inspection every 5 years. Never did they tell me this. Never did they send anything to me indicating this. Now I finally want to use it (I could have used it over the years but didn't bother) they tell me that 5 years ago it was voided because I didn't bring it in for an inspection that I didn't know about!

I finally spoke to a Zaric in customer care and he told me there was nothing I could do. No one that I could talk to. No manager I could talk with. If I didn't have it done (you only have 60 days grace period) that I was out of luck! He said even though it was not written in the contract that I must have been told verbally that had to be done. VERBALLY from a car saleman... are you kidding me!

Chrysler Transmission

Bought a 2019 Dodge Ram 2500 Cargo Van in March 2020, it had 26,659 miles on it. Every 10,000 miles we have the oil changed and maintenance checkup.
The last oil change prior to incident was on 9-1-2022, and everything was fine.

On [protected] (approx. 150,000 miles.) while delivering product, the truck died and would not restart. Had to send a tow truck to pick it up and bring it back to our business at a cost of ($750.00.) No alerts or lights had come on to indicate there was a problem. Took to first mechanic shop, said it the transmission. Had to take it a transmission shop. ($5600.00).

My complaint is that the transmission should have never gone out with the mileage it had on it. Secondly, we should of had a alert or light come on sooner indicating a problem.
Wondering if anyone else has had a transmission problem on this particular vehicle.

Chrysler Service to vehicle

In the summer of 2022, Clifton Park Dodge was to complete an inspection on my vehicle. Upon arriving for my scheduled appointment, the technician told me that they were not able to do inspections at the time. I asked that they still take my truck back to check my brakes, as they did not feel adequate and vibrated. The service tech took my car back and I waited for over an hour in the waiting room. At that time, they told me that my one year old truck needed new brakes, but they would need to order parts and I would need to come back to get them replaced. Later that day, I noticed damage to my rim that was not previously there and was only damaged on surfaces that protruded, as if the wheel were dropped. The dealership denied dropping it at first, and then after multiple dealings agreed to fix the wheel free of charge. Upon returning to have my brakes replaced, new rotors and break pads were installed, but leaving the dealership, my car felt like a wheel was going to fly off (horrible vibration/shaking). The dealership refused to address these concerns at that time. My family member tightened all lug nuts on my rims and discovered the newly installed rotor had a large gash in it. Again, the dealership did nothing about this. On 12/31/22, I took my truck to Nemer Dodge for routine oil change and tire rotation. They reported to me that my 1.5 year old truck now needs new tires and the newly installed brakes were not installed properly, and the slides were not greased. Clifton Park Dodge is not taking responsibility for this and I am very dissatisfied with the service I received, and that continues to haunt me today. I feel this is unfair that I now have to replace tires on a brand new vehicle.

Desired outcome: I would like the dealership to take ownership of their mistakes and do what is right for my leased vehicle.

Chrysler 2015 Dodge Ram Truck - Key Fob

My wife purchased a brand new 2015 Dodge ram in 2015. Over the last few years, she has been having problems with both key fobs that were provided to her at the time of purchase. In early 2022, she went to the south bank dodge outlet to replace the battery in both fobs. Unfortunately, she still has the problem. So much so that she has to be bring both fobs just in case the truck does not open or start with the main one.

We are now being told that the Key Fobs are not under any warranty and that it would cost us an estimated $ 300+ to replace and reset one key.

She paid over $ 50,000 for this truck and at the very least you would think the key fobs (not specific to the battery) would be warranted for the life of the truck or the period the initial owner-maintained possession. Instead, we are told "this is not the case". For a company as large as yours, and for an item (maybe defined in your words as an "accessory" would be warrantee for the life of the truck.

We are very disappointed in the fact that you can sell a vehicle that "requires" a key fob to start the engine, would not have a life time warrantee. My wife has always bought dodge trucks but in today's technology, everything is dependent on electrical parts. Which you would think, should all be covered since this is what you are selling.

She will no longer be looking to Chrysler for any future vehicles because of the poor quality of service and "warrantee" on basic thinks that make the truck run.

Chrysler 2016 Chrysler Voyager

Dear Sir,

This letter is about the quality and service issues with my 2016 Chrysler Voyager.

I have always wanted to buy American made products, so I have purchased many Chrysler products in the past. I had many K Cars and then moved on to the mini vans in 1984. My first mini-van had transmission and brake problems. Since it was a new style, we figured they would get better in future years. But we still had issues with the other Chrysler cars and even had to replace a transmission at our expense. Now for the current problem which happened on 12/13/2022. Our van needed a Pennsylvania inspection, and in addition the warning messages stated our batteries in key fobs were weak. We took our car to the dealership, and were told we needed brakes and that they would replace the batteries, at $10 each.

The cost for the brakes was over $1300.00. That was higher than the coupon prices of $279.95 or $249.95 on the Mopar web site. But, we trusted them and approved the service.

But the issue with FOBs and the batteries wasn’t fixed and it continued to get worse. We went into the service department, thinking we only need new batteries, and then everything fell apart. The service department did replace the batteries and said they were fine, and we thought they were. After coming home, we noticed that the fobs did not work properly. One fob didn’t work at all, and the second one did not open the doors or allow for remote starting. Thinking the batteries might be bad, I took the fobs back. After waiting over an hour, they told me they were fixed and ready to go. Wrong! The next day I had to drive to northern New Jersey to drop off our grandson. After leaving the car for about thirty minutes, the car would not start, and none of the doors would open. The only thing working was the security alarm, which we couldn’t stop it. Now we were 75 miles from home and 15 to 20 miles from the closest Chrysler dealership on a Saturday at noon.

After finally getting it start, we drove to the dealer and again they said they were car fobs were working, and told us to leave the car there to find out the problem. It has been 8 days now and no car or fobs. He suggested we might need new key fobs at $190 each. Two hour later, we were told that we needed new keys and the price was $300 each. He even said this happens a lot. I have purchased and have a new Honda CRV in 2012 and a new 2009 Pontiac Vibe, and have never needed a battery or a new fob. He even suggested sweat and grease from my hands could have caused the problems. We went from, just needing to buy 2 batteries, $10 each, to now paying $600 for 2 new key fobs.

I still do not have my car (car doesn’t work without keys) and we are still waiting (8 days). Our van is the only car with a baby booster chair and we need the chair for usage at Christmas

We are very disappointed in the pricing of the fobs, after first being told it just needed new batteries. Also, I think the pricing on the brakes were excessive, while the coupon pricing was a lot better. The service people were nice, but the pricing and actual service work was not.

I feel that we were given faulty information and pricing and are due some kind of discount or compensation. I look forward to your speedy response.

Chrysler Front passenger window wiring

We have a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn, could someone please explain how the window wiring on the passenger side front window is so twisted on the inside and the window won't work, just happened, and now it going to cost us a small fortune to have it fixed, your Company has had so many recalls on our truck and I feel this needs to be added to it, and of course we bought it brand new and it is 5 years old, and the warranty is expired, this should not be happening, we have never had this problem with our old Dodge Ram in which we owned for 0ver 15 years. The part is very expensive to replace and the cost of labor to have it fixed, Dodge needs to stand behind their products better.

Chrysler my car in the lake of care that they had for my car the mechanic you need to firer them or send them back to school about cars!

I bring my car in to have it service and they said it was my rear differential and they put one in, and it cost all 2000 dollars.so I got the car back and it's still making sounds so the chrysler dealership told me to bring the car back in and they were supposing to look at the car in find out what they did wrong or need to be fixs. So now they said it was my rear hubs so pay another 1,500 for that.so now I had to bring the car back in to have look at on 20-12-22 and they call me today and the car is ok I don't trust the mechanic that did the work on my car in chuck is one of worst help there! my car still need to be look at thanks.here my address is 1311 boyd st phone [protected] email address [protected]@hotmail.com

Chrysler 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee

My vehicle has a recall, Z48, and I brought it to the dealer to take care of it. They reprogrammed my vehicle and it did not fix the problem.They uninstalled it and reprogrammed it again and unsuccessful again, after having my car for 3 days.

They told be they are baffled and not sure what the problem is. They recommended to have them replace the HCU/ABS module, at the cost of $1400. They are not sure though if that would work.

The recall is for the HCU/ABS module. I don't understand why I should be charged for a recall when the letter from the FCA states " FCA US will repair your vehicle free of charge (parts and labor)".

Is the dealer trying to pull something?

Desired outcome: I need my vehicle fixed at no cost since it is a Chrysler recall.I am not comfortable to drive this vehicle because It is dangerous driving this vehicle with this problem. I would appreciate a response to my problem.

Chrysler 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel

Car is been left in Huntington beach Jeep Dealer- over 6 months , They try to

diagnose the problem no luck ,can not Figure out what's wrong with It -New Engine was Installed ( in another shop -not in this dealer ), Only Runs for 5 --10 minutes and shuts down ? Chrysler North Knoxville Chrysler Jeep

I bought a 2022 Jeep Wrangler on 10/21/22 from North Knoxville Jeep and was told I would have to wait 3 weeks for my tag. After 3 weeks I started trying to find out about my tag. I kelp being told it was at Knox County. After checking with the county I got some to tell me that the dealership did not even send my paperwork to the county until 11/15/22 almost 4weeks. My wife and I are retired and like to travel towing the Jeep behind our motorhome and now we can’t. No one will tell me when and if I will get my tag by Christmas. I wii never use or recommend this Dealership to anyone. I just want what I paid for y’all have very bad service

Chrysler Charged $653 when I was told it would be no charge

On October 29, 2022 I took my 2014 Jeep Rubicon in to Ancira Dodge in San Antonio, TX for a scheduled "service" which included an oil change, multi-point inspection, air conditioner filter change, parking brake adjustment, etc. The total bill was $2881.07. I picked my vehicle up on October 31, 2022 and less than 24 hours later my "check engine light came on". I called Ed Daoud (service advisor) on Tuesday November 1, 2022 and he said the sensor probably needed to be replaced. I told him I NEVER had a sensor problem until AFTER it was serviced. He said it would be replaced FREE OF CHARGE. The sensor reset itself when I filled the gas tank on November 5, 2022 prior to bringing it to Ancira to have it replaced. I was assured by Andrew (Gardner - I believe) there was nothing wrong with my engine and if the sensorengine light came back on, to bring it back and it would be replaced, again, at NO CHARGE TO ME. The engine light came back on the next day, Nov 6, 2022. I brought my Jeep back on Saturday Nov 12, 2022 and had it replaced and was charged $653.60 and told by Charles Hewtty (service advisor) that "there is no proof the service I received is responsible for the sensor failure." That is a LIE! I called Ancira on Tuesday Nov 8, 2022 and again on Nov 9, 2022 and again on Nov 14, 2022. To date NO ONE HAS RETURNED MY CALLS! Not Ed, not Andrew, and not Paul the service manager.

Desired outcome: I want my $653.60 refunded to my credit card since at no time in my Jeeps history has there been an issue with the "check engine" light/sensor until Ancira serviced my Jeep.

Chrysler 2017 Chrysler Pacifica

when driving the starting to drive the van in hesitate for a second then shake as it is accelerating. when driving at random time the van will shut off and will come across the screen saying place in park and restart once the van is in park the van will restart and shake and Stahl from acceleration. I have read that many other people are having the same issues i am having with my van

Chrysler Ram 3500 laramie diesel truck

We ordered our truck in May 2022. On October 8th my husband drove approximately 160 miles to pick up the truck. He almost made it home when the truck stopped working. Made it off the freeway. Called AAA to have it towed to a local dealer near our home. The truck was inspected and found that the transmission was faulty. We received a call that the transmission arrived and that we would have possession of our truck on November 3rd.

That didn't happen the wrong transmission was shipped. Now the local dealer is trying to locate another transmission. Today November 4th we get a call from Chrysler Customer care letting us know that the new transmission being shipped out of Texas to California was cancelled. Why we don't know? We drove down to our local dealer and they said they did not cancel the order? What the heck! Brand new truck that we have financed and insured still sitting in the lot! We since sold our Ford F250 that we have been using to pull our 5th wheel since 2001. The old Ford actually made if on a trip that we drove pulling our new 5th wheel 7,200 miles. Never broke down just thought it was time to upgrade. We have plans for Thanksgiving with family in Arizona that we now will need to cancel. We also had reservations in Mesa Arizona (which we will loose our deposit) to have the bed liner and truck bed cover installed. What the heck is going on. Imagine spending this much money and not having the vehicle!

Chrysler 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 5.7L Hemi 4 door

160389 miles - Brain has been replaced 1-1-2022, replaced again on [protected]

Has a ghost problem. Gauges will not work. Wipers won't shut off. Flashers, turning signal, tow hall, 4x4 will not work. Trailer break flashing. Runs battery dead in two days. Round red security system light is on under the speedometer.

Other than that the truck runs and drives good. All the warning lights are on on the dash. The truck has only been driven 1636 miles this year. Please help!

Chrysler Service on recalled fuel pump on 2019 Ram 2500 HD

A month ago I broke down 70 miles from dealership had to pay for the tow. They took my truck to Withnell Dodge in Salem Oregon phone number [protected].

As of yesterday, the only communication I've had is the three occasions I went in and then was rudely brushed off. Last week they finally got the part and I thought I'd have my truck back by today so I could go on my planned hunting trip. Well yesterday I was rudely told they had no idea when they'd be able to get my truck done, they've had vehicles in for 3 months. I'm now wondering if this is the service I should expect with Dodge and if it is perhaps now that vehicles are coming back down in price a Tacoma would be a better option.
