Chipotle Mexican Grill catering order

I placed a catering order over the phone on 9/19/2019 at 10:45am at the 201 N 8th St in West Dundee, IL. I spoke with the manager when placing the catering order and he stated that the order will be ready by 12:30p or a bit later due to this time being a peak time for lunch. I got to chipotle to pick up the catering at 12:20 and there were about 45 customers inside. I walked in and noticed that on the left side (by the cashier) there was a line of people that placed online orders. I overheard many of them saying they have been waiting for 30, 40, 50 minutes and they were very angry. The manager came by and told them they are working on their food and some people requested a refund which he gave them. Other people were in line waiting to place their order. Then there was me. I walked up to the cashier and told her that I am picking up a catering order. She looked frazzled and stressed due to people yelling at her and she just said "we are making your order, it will be right up". Clearly she did not hear what I said it just sounded like she's been saying this phrase all day. At about 12:45pm many people that ordered online got their orders and I was standing there alone waiting for my catering. I was being very patient as I knew we ordered late and the manager told me it's possible they would be running a bit late. One of the employees came out from the back and asked me what order I am waiting for. I told her I placed a catering order and pick up was at 12:30.. she walked up to her manager and said "uhhh... was there a catering order for today?" And he looked up at me and looked terrified. He came by and said "I tried to call you multiple times and emailed you but the email was not going through.." ( I showed him my phone log and had no missed calls, nor did he ask me for my email when I placed the order so that was a lie) and I said "Ok, well I don't have any missed calls from you so what's going on?" And he said "Oh yeah I was calling to tell you we can't make your order because we are too busy..." I was beyond mad because this was for my boss that came in out of state and she wanted me to order food for the ENTIRE Company. I told the manager "so I have been standing here for about 45 minutes now and no one told you that I am here to pick up a catering order?" Then he basically repeated himself and did not seem to be in any way, shape, or form, apologetic which was even more frustrating. How are you going to tell someone that they can accept their order and when they get there, you don't feel the least bit bad about what happened nor do you offer a solution to keep your customer?
This was unacceptable. If he AS THE MANAGER knew that they would be too busy to make our order he should have told me that in the first place when I called to place the order. I was shocked that he said they would be able to make the order as we placed it last minute. Either way, if he said it will be done IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE! I will not be doing business with Chipotle again.. We have placed many catering orders with Chipotle as we get company lunch every week. We will no longer be doing business here since even the manager has no idea what he's doing nor did he care about what happened to my order..

Chipotle Mexican Grill burrito

I had gone to this restaurant and ordered a Burrito. I saw that the lady making it was slipping a receipt with her hand and touching my burrito with the same hand. I went to the cashier and said that I want my burritto to be replaced as I did not want that one touched with the hand which also touched the reciept, The reciept could have been touched by many hands.The guy behind him said ok. However there was one lady customer behind me who started yelling at me asking" YOU WANTED THAT BURRITO RIGHT?" She was completely harrashing me and emarrashing me infront of the whole restaurant. There were one senior couple with her in the dinning room who were starring at me as if I did something wrong to them. In additon to this I saw a sigh saying TRY OUR QUESEDILLAS FOR 2.10 in the Glass and I thought I will try, I had never tried it before. I asked the lady to make it

When I reached the cash register and I was told $ 15 was my total . I asked how did it become 15 as I had orders Burrito for 7 dollars and quesadilla for 2.10 . He said that this was adult burrito. I said I ordered the one shown in the glass. He yelled at me and said "DID YOU TELL THAT TO HER?. Was not she supposed to ask me which one? I said I don't want it and a lady behind him yelled " WHATEVER" . Everyone was starring at me. I called the customer service and explained to a lady called 'RAINA" To my surprise she completely ignored everything and only caught the price for quesadilla and asked me " DID YOU TELL THEM WHICH ONE YOU WANTED" . She did not even bother to apologize. NEVER GOING TO THIS RESTAURANT EVER AGAIN. I have seen flies flying around everywhere and dog poop in the floor completely ignored by this restaurant employees. WHAT A SHAME

Chipotle Mexican Grill eating here caused me and my family to fall sick

On August 27 me and my family ordered three meals. The next day we all were ill with gastrointestinal issues. Four days later we are still sick. All three of us ordered very different items making it hard to pin point the specific ingredient that may have caused our symptoms. Which brings me to think there is a general lack of hygiene or food preparation and storage at this location.

I was offered a refund but this does not take away from the fact that we are all still seriously ill and possibly other unsuspecting customers are prey to the same unhygienic situation.

Chipotle Mexican Grill guacamole

Hello,

I was visiting my friend in Virginia and I decided to get something to eat from Chipotle. I visited your establishment on 8/23/19 @ 1:09 PM and ordered a Chicken bowl with chips and guacamole. When we returned to her house we started eating. I was eating as normal as always and dipped a chip into the guacamole and then I bit down on something that caused an EXCRUCIATING pain in my mouth. I spat out the food in my mouth and started rummaging though it to see what had felt like chipped my tooth into and I couldn't believe what I had found. A damn piece of the Avocado pit in my guacamole mixed in with the rest of the ingredients like it belonged there. I was LIVID! My teeth were hurting, my head was hurting, my stomach started turning because I was so upset. I was mad at the fact that this could've been my friend who stood behind me in line (and she has sensitive teeth) or her young children or my young nieces or nephews and I was LIVID!

I asked her if she would take me back, but she said I should go to the dentist because I thought I had bitten down into something that may have chipped one of my teeth or potentially made my filling fall out and because I was in such EXCRUCIATING pain I wasn't sure what the problem was. I took some Advil and Aleve to calm the pain but that wasn't working. I asked her to take me back to the restaurant so I could show them exactly what I had bitten into, and to show them what was in their guacamole, but I was helping her move and she knew I was so upset that I was going to go off in there. I decided to call instead, and no one answered the phone even after I called twice. That's when I knew something had to be done about this. If I were a child or an elderly person or a person with sensitive teeth, I may have been in even more pain than I already was.

I am highly dissatisfied with what happened, and others should know what happened to me and not accept the fact that someone could have been extremely hurt that day or worse. Never mind, the fact that I was in pain but imagine if a little child or an elderly person had choked on something like that and died because of your neglect and carelessness.

Chipotle Mexican Grill health hazard food quality

I ordered a chicken bowl. When I arrived home about a quarter way through eating my meal I gagged on a piece of hair. When I investigated the meal more I saw an abnormal amount of hair in my food... To the point where food was hanging from the hair strands like a bell on a string. I was so nauseated I began to throw up. I immediately called the manager (april). She was apologetic and offered two entrees on the house. However; I am still grossed out by the experience and decided to move further. Two meals does not cut that horrific experience. Strands of hear sneaks in to food often... But this was much much much more than just a strand of hair. I have attached a video and pictures with the amount of hair strands and hairballs I dug up from bowl.

Chipotle Mexican Grill my order of burrito

Placed an order today for a burrito the delivery was great the order was not.
My order was burrito, sofritas, white rice, no beans, cheese, fajita veggies, fresh tomatoe salsa, lettuce, tomatillo red chil sauce
It was about a table spoon of rice ridiculous
No cheese
And the tomatillo looked like they poured a cup of it on the burrito, the whole thing was red.
Where was the rice and the rest of the stuff as a normal burrito that I always purchase, it was so drenched I couldn't even eat it it was horrible and I've ordered delivery and never had this issue.
The rice makes the burrito but where was it?
I have never been so angry with this place but this was not worth the money I pay for it. How do I trust this place which I love to order from if I can't trust that what's supposed to be in there I'm cheated out of, just imagine getting ready to eat it it's the size of my palm and soaked in hot sauce lettuce a tablespoon of rice no cheese very little veggies but oh filled with hot sauce. I'm sure whoever made it was well aware it couldn't be eaten the whole inside was just RED ...Sad. This was my favorite but I cannot trust making an order to throw away. This is my first ever complaint with anything I've had delivered !

Chipotle Mexican Grill complaint management unprofessional conduct toward minor employees (cassidy white)

I am a parent of two minors, one 16 and the other 17 who were employed at the Chipotle Forest Park, Ohio location and I am very concerned about Cassidy's management techniques. For starters Cassidy never had the schedule up on time and when my children would call to find out when they work no one ever answered the phone. To the tune where I had to drive my children up there to find out when they work only to be told to call back or come back because the schedule wasn't ready. Then she would tell my children when to come in and when they did, she told them they weren't on the schedule for that day. This nonsense went on for weeks of the same monotony. To make a long story short since she never had the schedule posted and when it was it was unbeknownst to my kids as they called and or came up to the store almost every day trying to find out when they work. Some days she would tell them to come in for work or training and wouldn't even be at work that day. Totally unprofessional. Well in a nut shell she fired both of my kids due to missing shifts, but that can't be possible as she never had the schedule posted and kept changing their work dates or cancelling them on purpose as it seemed. I think she took complete advantage of them due to their age and it is really unacceptable, unappreciative and unprofessional. I would never want to work for a GM who operated in such a manner and she really needs to be dealt with. If she keeps this behavior up you won't have any employees at all working or a high turnover ratio.
I really would like for someone to contact me asap regarding this matter because as I stated before my children are minors and Cassidy to full negative advantage of them.

Chipotle Mexican Grill chicken bowl

I made an online order asking for extra everything, there was nothing extra in the bowl not to mention when I went to pick it up whoever was on the register was being so rude because I handed her the wrong card and she gave me an attitude. Well my daughter was with me to pick it up and my daughter said hello and she literally rolled her eyes and ignored her! I was so upset by the service!

Chipotle Mexican Grill service

Hello- I am quick to complain when I have an issue- so I will let you know when I have a good experience. I am a frequent customer of the Mineola Chipotle on Jericho Turnpike. There is a young man named Gary who works the counter (m/blk/23 glasses)- he greets each and every customer as they come up to the counter and fills the order very enthusiastically - he makes you feel your order is the most important thing to him and I think it is. You can tell when he greets the regular customers as he is really friendly but all are treated the same. This cannot be taught as he works from his heart. He makes the Chipotle experience that much better. Thank You Gerard Lennon

Chipotle Mexican Grill customer service and chicken bowl with soft tacos

My bowl was missing the cheese on the side I asked for and my 3 tacos were so chewy and hard I had to throw them away...this is ridiculous! I don't get much on mine so when I ask for the 4 items that I do get, I expect to not be made to feel as if I'm begging when I'm paying...I am very upset, once again! The chicken was almost minced and she put part of my little scoop of meat back ...I'm angry! When I asked for lettuce on the side she gave me a half a cup for a whole bowl!

Chipotle Mexican Grill a whole avocado

My complaint isn't major, I ordered a bowl from 11241 Park Blvd N, Seminole, FL 33772 and for some reason, instead of getting guacamole I was given a whole "hardened " piece of avocado mixed in with a small amount of guacamole. I usually get decent service here so their not all bad, but still a whole avocado? I'm surprised no one noticed.

Chipotle Mexican Grill burrito

I am a regular customer at Chipotle in the downtown Brooklyn area and Kings Plaza in Brooklyn. Today I decided to visit the location located at 474 Fulton Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201. What mistake...I order two chaiken burrito and requested the salad dressing be poured into my burritos. Instead I was given a lecture about cross contamination and lecture about other branches doing the wrong thing. So, please tell me this should I be concerned about my health because the other location been pouring the salad dressing over my burritos? A Chipotle employee was the person who recommended me order this way and guess what I loved it! I'm used to get great customer service but today was not the case.

Chipotle Mexican Grill service

Went to order and out of steak, they said 35 min. How is that when you have 20 people working and on their phones. I know phones come before customers also last week same store ordered was halfway done with bowl in line and the line stopped and all went on break. They left four customers waiting so we all walked out. That place needs some help and more people there need to learn respect. I am now a lost customer at any one of your locations and I will pass the word on so know one has to have that same experience. It was wrong and uncalled for. Should of had steak ready to go when they ran out but personal lives are more important than taking care of what you are supposed to at work.

Chipotle Mexican Grill chips

I visit chipotle for a burrito and chips often. The last 2 wednesday's I have visited this location 7/31 and 8/7. I arrive at 9, one hour before closing. Last week I got to the end and asked for chips, they said they were out of chips for the night. Disappointed as the chips and queso are half the reason I go. I pay for my disappointing burrito which they were out of hot sauce also. Tonight I ask if they have chips before I order, they are out again. This time I do not order. I will go try qdoba which is a couple blocks away. You could possibly lose a customer for something as cheap as chips. Very very disappointing.

Chipotle Mexican Grill catering

You lost a $300.00 order because of your asinine policies. AND, you've lost any future orders with our group. Our group has done Dine and Donate events with your organization in the past, and large event meals as well, but as long as I'm President you can forget any further business from us.

I understand you might need more than 24 hours notice for very large catering orders, but I had 25 people, and if you're telling me an order for 25 people can't be fulfilled with notification overnight than you need better management. You need to have some leeway regarding catering orders for under 50 people and the 24 hour policy.

So, I called your competitor Moe's Southwest and they happily fulfilled my order and they were cheaper too!

Chipotle Mexican Grill food

So I purchase a double chicken with tomatoes brown rice corn double chicken and cheese and when I got home my food was nasty my chicken was burned and the tomatoes have the core still on the tomatoes. I took it back and showed the manager she told me she was sorry about that and just gave me my money back and did not ask if she could remake it. the manager name was Yanira Romas.

This is the second time that me and my family went to this place and had bad service. they really need to clean it up if they want people to return there.

Chipotle Mexican Grill burrito bowl/ online order

I ordered 2 burrito bowls and they were supposed to have extra meat on them and we only got a regular serving of meat. They also did not add the correct items to the bowls. It was supposed to have the red hot sauce and we received the tomato salsa. We still ate the product but it was only because we were on lunch break and couldn't drive the 10 mins to get back to the establishment to fix the bowls.

Chipotle Mexican Grill double charged and no customer service

Yesterday I used Chipotle's online portal to order food. When I clicked complete order it said "oops your order couldn't be completed at this time." So I did it again. I was charged twice for this. I have been trying to get a refund from them for the past day and absolutely no response. Horrendous. Really making me rethink my support of this business which is sad because they support local farms but I don't know since they screw customers over now.

Chipotle Mexican Grill no cheese, rude staff, dirty establishment

I went in to order chicken bowl. They are out of cheese but don't tell you until you are at register. I asked for a scoop of guac instead and staff said he has to charge me for it. I said well you're out of cheese will my bill be cheaper since you cannot provide what comes with it? Seems fair doesn't it?
I thought it was fair but of course he said "no dude"
So I bought guac and chips which he then filled the guac container a quarter full just to show me up.
There was not 1 clean table to eat at, not 1 and that is no joke. Check your cameras.
Soda station/disgusting
Garbage cans/overflowing
Employees/hanging out laughing and joking around
Staff on front counter/all miserable.
I definitely will NOT be back to Chipotle.
4th visit in a row with a problem.
I'm not sure why there is so many problems but should your chain of stores really have this many complaints?
Isn't anyone worried about that? I would be if I was the district manager or an employee or any sort!
Chipotle, change now before it's too late!

Chipotle Mexican Grill bonus not allowable, rude staff

I go to chipotle every week with my company. On 7/31 we went around 11:30. I had just learned from my co-worker that you could sign up for the rewards program, so I downloaded the app right before I went. I was looking through the app and saw that there was a bonus of free chips and guac when you use scan the awards for the first time and there was even a sign on the menu stating the same thing. When I got to the check out, I asked for the chips and guac and and showed the associate the bonus and she VERY RUDELY told me that you could only use that if you ordered online. I politely pointed to the screen and she cut me off and said ONLINE ONLY do you still want them or not. I said yes and she handed me the bag. Only when I got back to the office did I notice that she didn't even put chips in my bag, she just put the guac.

To say the least, it was quite a turn off.
