TGI Fridays - Non understanding of rule of 6

I was booked in my local TGI Fridays, Newport road Cardiff, on 31st December at 3pm. I booked a table for 6, which consisted of 5 adults & 1 child. I did not include my 5 month old baby in the booking as they would not need a high chair and would not be in a pushchair. TGI Fridays - Food not in the bag/ Manager don't know customer service

I went to TGI at 650 College Ave, Newark De. and sat and waited about 25 mins. for my food and that was okay, because I was told that it would take about 20 min. I walked back to the hotel and open the bag, just to find out that my salad was missing. When I called TGI Friday and I spoken to the manager name Irlene and asked her can someone bring my salad to me and she said we can't do that when it was their fault that I was missing my salad. The Hotel was about 12 to 16 steps from TGI Friday. She said to me you are going to have to come and get it and that she will give me the salad and money back for the salad, she should have comp my whole meal for the inconvenience of me walking back over there. I said to Irlene that I am going to call corporate office about the inconvenience, and she said if you call corparate I wouldn't give you your money back, I told her that I am still going to call corparate and she can give me my money back and that I will let corparate know what she done by just giving me the money back for the Salad and I was not happy, because I should have never had to go back to pick up my food. Irlene as a manager should have walked it over to me. She was not a pleasant manager. Check # 2933 Store # 1521 Bill was $45.15 and she removed just the Salad. I should never had to go back

TGI Fridays - Bad Service

Good day!
Just want to share my experience when i dine-in in tgif, Qatar, Landmark Mall, Last Thursday, August 12, 2021, around 8:30pm. First When we come in all the stuff are very friendly. Then we take our orders. A filipina waitress approach us and took our orders. Before we make order we told her that we will be using our entertainer with the steak that we will order. And we ordered the new york strip and classic ribeye. Then i ordered also the tacos but before she leave she offered us to take another 1 main course (we didn't know thay tacos are one of the main course so she offered us to het another 1 main course so that it will be buy 1 get 1, this is her explanation) so since its buy 1 take 1. We got another order of pasta. We enjoyed the food so much then by the time we got our bill we were shocked. Cause what the waitress did she use our entertainer in 1 bill and the deduction only applied for tacos which that is not the planned. We told he that we will be using our entertainer in the steak. I called the manager but the manager is not available. Instead they give me the kitchen manager. I was expecting that they could do something about the mistake of the waitress. But the kitchen manager, named nasser, couldn't do anything but still insist us to pay for what they have billed us. I was so just disappointed about the service. Its not fair. So we paid the bill the kitchen manager only offered us 2 free cheesecake which is I appreciate it but i hope he was able to fix the mistake of the waitress. I hope this will not happen to any other customers.

TGI Fridays - Ruined Birthday and wasted Journey!

Dear Sir/Madam

On Sunday the 8th Aug we had a table booked for my daughters 9th Birthday at 4pm at trinity Leeds. We arrived at 3:15pm as our daughter was really excited and wanted to get inside- like you do when your a little girl and its your birthday! So we decided to have some drinks before hand.
We got to TGIs and was confronted with a sign outside the door saying "Sorry we are not serving food today. I asked the young boy on the door how long the restaurant had been closed and he said most of the day. The boy stated he had tried to call us to let us know and that he had left us a voice mail. I checked my phone and he had called me at 3:08pm, If TGIs had phoned us earlier we could have made alternative arrangements for my daughters birthday. Another young boy came to the door as our daughter was heart broken and stated that we should catch a taxi to wellington street to another TGIs and in his words will only cost a couple of quid each way but we wasn't repaired to do that, maybe they could have called us a taxi out of good will for the poor communication. At this point that was the last thing I wanted to hear as we had already paid for wasted Taxi and train journeys to Leeds then decided against trying wellington street as he had not even checked availability for us.
You certainly gave our little girl a great day to remember... NOT!

I have wrote a few complaints out as I found this a very disappointing experience and extremely unprofessional. Not One person from TGIs as been in touch!

TGI Fridays - Food, cleanliness and service

On March 13th my husband and I visited the Nitro Wv location approx 8:30pm. I am aware they had been busy earlier that day, but when we arrived there were only about 4 tables seated. The place was absolutely filthy. We had to keep being moved to different tables due to the disgusting filth all over the floor. The manager (who we did not realize was the manager at the time) was in the dining area and the filthy was clearly noticeable and she did not instruct anyone to clean it. I ordered the sizzling chicken and cheese with loaded potatoes and my husband ordered the sizzling steak and cheese with the whiskey glaze cooked Medium. I took pictures that I had no potatoes on my plate (they were later brought out separate with the bacon raw) I had 1 tiny red pepper, 1 tiny green pepper and no cheese. My husband's steak was raw, purple it was so raw, 1 tiny green pepper and very little cheese. We told our server who was very good we would like to see the manager. We did not get her name. It was a woman with chin length blonde hair. She came to the table with a very condescending and smart alleck tone. She just kept saying what would you like for me to do for you with an attitude. I didn't even bother pointing out the filth due to her attitude so we just showed her our food. She looked at us and said, ok. She argued the steak wasn't raw it was medium rare, she kept saying we had peppers that they were white (we nicely explained that was onions), she smarted us off saying they don't count out the peppers. Then she took my husband's meal back only making it sound as though it was fine it was just to appease him. We had to give mine back to the server because she wouldn't take mine back. We order these 2 meals every time we eat here so we know what they should look like. She didn't offer us dessert or apologize or anything. We ended up waiting an hour to eat. This was extremely horrible and unjust. We ate paid full price for horrible manager experience, sat in filth and waited an hour for our food to be cooked twice!

TGI Fridays - Not happy with our meal

Hi we went out for a meal at the Basildon branch we was really disappointed with our meal it was our first tone at tgi, we was recommended it so thought we would try it, my chips were cold they did replace them, but then my chicken fingers were Luke warm but I didn't like to complain again, my sins coleslaw was a piece of cabbage, it was the first tone out since the lockdown but we were all really disappointed with our whole meal

TGI Fridays - Product complaint

I'm a regular customer on TGI Fridays in Al Wahda Mall branch in Hazza Bin Zayed Abu Dhabi. Every time I visit the restaurant I ordered the same food, but today when I ordered the same menu I chose 80% of the meat was bone and I paid 129 AED for nothing. What kind of customer service is this? I'm a regular customer and spending money for expensive food but the service of meat was very disappointing.
