A return of an item from Cash Crusaders South Beach
I bought a extension cord from Cash Crusaders for R109, I went on to shop and I realized that I no longer need it, when I told the manager of the south beach branch that I no longer need it, he sed that it's not a valid point... I am a customer who has shopped three times at this branch, he shouted at me he told me that he cannot in no way return the item for me, I then told him that I will take something else he still said no, shouting and shouting at me, he said I was remorseful buying, I work at a retail store and customer is always right.
The item was not used, it was in the condition I bought it in. I want this matter escalated because I have never been spoken to like this from a retail store. The most unhappy customer at the moment I am so unhappy with cash crusaders I want this to be escalated please. This is not the way I get treated from a retail store
At the end my mother had to speak to the manager and evenutally he gave her earphones. This is the worst customer service ever experienced.

Unprofessional manager and staff
I went to cash crusaders today at 11h00 to have a look on the fridges that they have and luckily they had a Defy Fridge with water dispenser for R3400, then I took a picture and sent it to my mother asking if she likes it and she did then I went back inside and ask a lady that works there to assist me with laybuying the fridge and she so I paid then went...

I bought a Huawei15.6" Notebook(256GB) For R5300 on the 28 of March 2024 at Cash Crusaders Shelly Beach. I took it home and installed all my programs that I use to do my Cryptocurrency Trading I then closed it and I am living alone. I did one video call to my fiancé on whatsapp who works in Ghana on the 9th of April 2024. Whilst we are busy on the call the pc seemed to be running out of battery life and I plugged it in. Then there was just a blank screen. I barely used the pc as I cut a tendon off in my hand and my hand was not operational. I took it a few days later back to them on the 11th of April 2024. They told me that their technician will look at it. I went there weekly to find out if the problem was resolve on which they only told me about 2 weeks later that there was now suddenly water damage to the pc. I have not had any water near it. The most I worked on it would be an hour and I will definitely know if there was any water near it.
I was extremely upset as I know I did not had any water near my pc. Then weeks went by then I told them I will take it for a 2nd opinion, then the Owner/Manager told me now suddenly the part was ordered by the technician and he will fix it on their behalf. I gave them weeks again going there weekly and then on the on the 3rd of June 2024 I called them and they informed me the pc cannot be repaired. I went there on the 5th of June and collected the pc. They rejected to refund me as they now blame me for the damage on the pc. Which is a total lie. I have lost out on making money in many weeks due to them. I am self employed and is now struggling to make end meat without my pc. Please assist on which procedures I should follow. I have made 12 calls to them in this time and have not received one call from them regarding the repair.

Led projector
I bought the projector, it has frozen after watching 1 movie, switched back on but had red lines across the screen. We returned it to the shop, where we were told that we had to have broken it because it worked at the shop. They never fully tested it, a built-in speaker doesn't work, screws are missing. This I went back for a refund, and they told us that we broke it and there will be no refund. The projector won't switch on after cash crusaders had a tech look at it.

Lost laptop
I have pawned my laptop at Cash Crusaders Southdale branch, when I paid for collection on 2/03/2024, I was informed they can't get my laptop, the staff member (Thapelo) informed me to give him 5days to get a new one, he then got a different laptop that didn't work properly and wanted to give it to me, I informed him it's not the same laptop and the one he wants to give to me does not work...
I would like my original laptop back or to be compensated for a replacement of the exact same make/model and specs.

Im a complaining about the service I got from your shop, your manager refused to give me a product with the price I saw on a price tag from one of products u sell, I asked him nice, he said he cant doit. I ask for his name and I left.
I tried laying a complain to Hello Peter, it was 9:20 when I entered the shop, a consultant came to me I said im still fine, I found what I was looking for with good price (r499.90) I took the picture aswell and I called a consultant to say I want the product, I showed him the price he said thats not the price, he then called his manager by the name welcome ndou, in pretoria north bleuuw village centre, the manager came he said, he here me but he can't give me with that price, I told him about consumer act, section 68, he still refused, I asked for his name and I left, I really want that product with r499.90,

Laptop
I pawned my laptop on 16 January 2024 and when I went in to extend it, I was told that the product was already put out on the shelve to be sold. The manager Chantelle from the Pretoria North branch told me that I should have received an email or SMS from Head office to remind me that I should either extend my loan or collect and pay my stuff. I have not received anyting from head office. They now want me to pay the interest in order to keep my laptop until I pay the interest. I asked if they could just hold it for me until the 25th of February then I will pay the whole amount with the interest so I can get back my laptop as it still has 5years of photos on it and she was not prepared to help me. It was the responsibility of head office to send me an email or SMS to remind me of payment and or collection which in this case was never done.
I need someone from head office to contact me and give me a solutions as to how I am getting all my photos back that was on my laptop if it is sold before I can pay and collect.

Buy shop
The customer service at you buy shop in Mount Edgecombe is absolutely pathetic, you guys accept items and then when we want to pawn the same item again proof of purchase is asked for please direct me to your terms and conditions for pawning items and a picture displayed in the buy shop in Mount Edgecombe Durban that states proof of ownership is required! I went into the store to pawn my samsung A53 which was previously Pawned at your store last month and a couple of times prior to last month, the buyer was assisting me and then another buyer told the guy assisting me that they will not accept the phone without proof of purchase and treated me as if I was a criminal, I have other items currently Pawned at your store. On the system it shows that my samsung a53 was previously Pawned do why ask for proof of ownership now?

Service complaint
I went to Makhado branch, I received horrible customer service. The cashier was super slow when assisting i stood for more than 15 while she was assisting the person in front of me, due to work demand i was called back and i had to rush back to work, asked for the item to be set aside and i was assured of that but when i went back i was being told the opposite and the item was sold as they are sales driven, how i don’t understand as I didn’t take more than 35 minutes to go back to the branch

I have loaned from Cash Crusaders Brits in the North west, using my laptop..Today I went to pay for an extension of R150 (as stated in their message) , When I got there I was told to pay R385 as they have changed shops or else they are selling my laptop. They refuse to give me my order
I ordered a tv on saturday the 06th of January 2024. On Monday you wrote me an email telling me it was ready for collection. I would like to lay a complain against one of your stores and staff in kuruman cash crusader on the [protected] I spent R1999. 99 in store I bought Xbox 360 which is R1799. 99 and the disc for Xbox 360.
the sales by the name of tshidiso moroka and the casher by the name of pelonomi ebusang said to me that I have a warranty of 6month and I can get the refund on Xbox 360 only and I signed the slip.

So we went to cash crusaders pawn shop and we wanted to sell a laptop in very good condition it practically brand new it was 1/10 chain machine so this lady with her gold teeth that works at the cell shop it's not the first time that the second time not the third time that we came there that she has a problem with taking our things so now I found in and the supervisor of the shop actually told me that she was working protocol so now how the day before that we went to buy a phone from cash crusaders the same people and they didn't test the phones like phone and see if the speakers are working only put it on charge for a couple of minutes then didn't sign the slip then as we were waiting for this people to test the phone and and so there was a guy a lady that bought a blender this blender didn't work so this guy was standing there that the staff are I tried my best so okay by all means the machine didn't work he put it back on the on the shelf maybe next time he told that customer so two of our machines that same lady with her gold teeth blood in blood out the charges in out in out and that machines worked when we left home but when we brought them home from cash crusaders it didn't work the charger port is broken but we had no proof that it was then that broke its up fine we left it but now she flips this machine over today and the first thing she looks at if the screws were in there and then she says but the seal was broken he didn't test that machine she didn't look at that machine she didn't even go through the machine to see if that machine was everything was working the first thing she looked at with the back of that machine to see if the screws were in there but they can take a blender that's not working they didn't test the phone when we bought it but they work only strict protocol so I'm very upset with this and I'm not leaving it because this people as the customer service they don't care how they treat their customers or speak to them and this is unacceptable

Extension of my loan repayments

I took a loan of R5500 from cash crusaders in centurion against my PlayStation 5, their method of payment is in store or via Ozow payment. On the 15/10/2023 I received a link to make payment to extend my loan as I kept trying to pay via the Ozow site I kept on getting error messages and whiles the final payment date was the 17/10/2023 with extension of 2 days being the 19/10/2023 eventually after trying everyday on the 19/10/2023 I tried again and this time it went off successfully. Again on the 14/11/2023 I received an sms with link to extend my loan which was expiring on 17/11/2023 then get extra 2 days I tried to make payment from the Ozow and kept getting the error code till on the 19/11/2023 at 10:25am I sent them an email asking for assistance with other options of making payment other than in store or via the Ozow as I’m sick and not able to go to the store and the Ozow is not working… they did not respond to my email. On the next day I asked a friend to try pay from their acc it did not work I called them to find out if they did receive payment and explained that I sent email on the 19/11/2023 they claimed to not have seen the email and told me they have put my item on the floor to be sold for R9000 that I should come buy it back. They claimed that when the link is sent it expires same day I explained that in October I received a link on the 15/11/2023 experienced same problem that it eventually allowed me to pay on the 19/10/2023 and I have proof of the sms and payment I made. I was the told to come to the store on the 21/11/2023 which I had still not recovered I sent an email explaining my situation they claimed to have not received my email on the 19/11/2023 and that I should sent it to them and tried to pull the card of the link expired i showed them proof then only today 22/11/2023 they tell me I should have gone through their website to make payment and I told them that is why I sent an email on the 19/11/2023 seeking assistance and to find out other means to make payment. I took a screenshot as proof of the Emil I sent as they try that and also of the errors message from their Ozow app not working… they told me that it is on the floor and I should come put down a deposit to lay-by and buy it back for R8000 I had already paid R1200 for the loan extension. This is not fare as they ignored my email and to assist in giving urgent assistance.

Bought this cell cash. Did not even have it four months, started giving trouble with front speaker. I took it in for repairs (Carletonville branch), on 4 November 2023 for repairs. Phone was sent away and I was told the phone will be in for repairs for a period of 21 Days.
When following up as for I received no call to collect the phone, I sent my wife to follow up for me as for I was unavailable on 18 November 2023, she was informed that it is not the branch fault if the phone is not delivered by the company on the 21 day repair time frame.
I am very dissatisfied with the service of this branch where commitments of 21 days on return of the product are not met, and head office is blamed. No attempt whatsoever from the branch to contact head office to follow up on the delivery date. I need this phone urgently as for there are recorded meetings on it to provide as evidence with fatal inquires with the DMRE (Inspectors of Mines), to present to them.
Customer care is supposed to be priority at any given company. If I don't receive any feedback on my quiry, I shall have to resort into brining this under the attention of the Ombudsman as well as "Hello Peter", where it comes to customer service and branch commitments to customers not executed as promised.

The above matter bears reference. I’m writing this email with great disappointment towards your management at the potchefstroom store due to the lack of willingness to resolve this matter.
I’m an Apple product third party trader. And I sometimes buy my devices at the potchefstroom store as it is the one closest to kuruman where I am based and it has the type of products I normally would trade.
Last year around July 2022 I bought an Apple Watch and a MacBook from them realise a month a or so later when I was selling it to a client that the Apple Watch was iCloud locked. I then went to the shop around to dispute this, we had hoped that maybe one of the sales consultant's had used their iCloud on the device and forgot to erase it. Then after 3 different consultants we realised that the store might have bought it locked.
It was around September of last year 2022 and I then requested that they either replace it, which saw they year end without anything. Then I requested early in December 2022 that they give me a refund which I was told it’s been months and that refund rules don’t allow it, and I then requested that at least they find me any other apple device and I will top up the difference and this still didn’t amount to anything.
My final straw was when I went to the store and requested that it’s been long now and nothing has happened and I was told the previous manager is no longer working there and the new manager denied knowing anything about this matter even in the presence on the eye witnesses of the sales consultants that were there when I returned the watch for a replacement. This now happens when I’m trying to bring to your store the third solution which was to at least take some goods in the shop to the value of the Apple Watch and they refused.
Now he has told me there is nothing he can do, he is unwilling to help me contact you in order to resolve this matter so I took it upon myself to find an email address I can use to reach your and I hope this mail finds you
