I rented a car in Austin at the airport. First customer of the morning, 7am. Justin at the counter was obliviously not wanting to work that day. Rude and short, I was the only one in the Avis cue. Budget was closed. Got to the car and notice a broken windshield and other damage. Gas was at 3/4 but was told it was full. Took pics at the parking area and needed to get to a wedding. I didn’t have the time or patience to deal with Justin again. As I was driving I started to find trash and general filth in the interior. The sunroof switch looked like it was touched with a bloody finger. Then to the car wash as I was to transport my son and family members to the church where the wedding was being held. The was an air mattress and empty food wrappers and drink cups in the back seat. After returning the car I took some time to let Budget customer service. Joshua Devonish was the one to reply to my concerns. Found his response of “give us another chance next trip to Texas” very weak. I have asked to talk to someone who gives a damn after receiving a smartass response asking me to “pleeeease” send pics of the filth. There was a third request for a supervisor to contact me. That was two weeks ago and I am still upset that my concerns are not being heard.
Recommendation: Use any other company. Avis/Budget sucks
