I went in for a burger combo today and had one of the worst dining experiences. While I was sitting at a table, an employee started spraying window cleaner directly into the air at the table right next to mine. With the sunlight coming through the window, I could actually see the mist floating all over my food. She didn’t spray it onto a cloth first to wipe the glass, just sprayed it into the air — so I was left breathing in chemicals while trying to eat, and my food was contaminated.
I quickly packed up my meal and moved. When I brought it to the counter, they replaced my fries but not my burger, which was also ruined. I ended up throwing away more than half of my meal. The staff’s response made it clear they didn’t really care.
This is a food safety issue. Spraying chemicals around customers and their food shows a complete lack of training and professionalism. If you work in food service, handling cleaning supplies safely should be basic standard. Unfortunately, this place doesn’t take that seriously.
