El Torito Grill promotes a pint of draft beer, but it's actually only 12 ounces. Even the schooners are just 14 ounces. I informed the waitress about this, and she explained that the 12 ounce glass is their version of a pint glass. She also mentioned that the bottled beers were even smaller than the 12 ounce pints. Surprisingly, the 12 ounce bottles turned out to be pricier when I received the bill. The waitress admitted her error.

My experience with this company has been terrible, especially how they treated me as an employee. I applied for a summer job to earn extra money for college. A few days after I applied, they called me for an interview. I went to the interview and the person in charge of hiring told me they needed help and hired me. I filled out all the paperwork, but after a week, I didn't receive any callbacks or training information on the portal. I spoke to the manager and she confirmed that I was hired, but the person in charge of hiring must have forgotten. She asked me to bring in my ID and SSN card, so I did the next day. Later, she called me to correct my I-90 form and asked me to call her back. I made the correction and called her, but she didn't answer. I called multiple times, but it's been over a week and there has been no communication. It would have been fine if they didn't want to hire me, no problem. But they acted very unprofessionally, causing me to lose money.

I called them 13 times that day, but they didn't answer. On May 6th, I called three times before finally talking to a person. They transferred me to a manager named Andrea. Andrea took all my info and said I would get my refund in 3-4 business days. It's been 11 business days now, and I can't get hold of anyone at the store by phone. I also emailed the corporate email from the website three times, but they haven't responded. I got an email from El Torito Corporate, a mass email sent to everyone, asking if we were affected by the cancellations on May 5th. They said to email them through the website. So I sent a fourth email through the site, but still no response. My refund is $86+, which is a lot of money to be without. They didn't even give a reason for the cancellation, and when I did talk to a person on the phone, they didn't apologize.
