Lazyboy finley rocker recliner
Purchased this recliner rocker on 12/12/22 in the Dover Delaware store. Took delivery on 12/17/22 where it took the delivery personnel 5 minutes to put it together. I looked the chair over and it seemed to be ok. I went to move the chair and the left side of the back came up and was loose. Put in a claim #192067 and on 2/22/23 a repair person came to look at the chair. The service person looked at the chair, made a small adjustment and indicated that he thought the back had a manufacturing defect on it and that we should hear something from the your service department in a few days. He didn't know if they would fix the chair or just order a new one. I didn't hear anything from Boscov's concerning the chair. On 3/2/23, I called your warranty department and was informed that the service person realigned the chair and found no manufacturing defects. This was not what we were told. It took me over 10 minutes waiting on line for someone to pick up my phone call only to be told the direct opposite. This is the second chair purchased from you that had problems. I have been a customer for a long time but will be cancelling my charge and NOT purchasing from Boscov's again.

I placed an online order to my local Boscovs in Toms River NJ for pick up. I realized I had ordered the wrong size after picking up the items. I sent two requests to shop by phone and never received a reply. I wanted the two items in a larger size and wanted to see if they could be shipped to my store for pick up as they were not available at my local store. I also called the [protected] twice holding on one time for 15 minutes and the next day I held on for 25 minutes. No one ever answered. I then tried calling my local Boscovs customer service only to have it ring 20 times when someone picked up and hung up on me. All I wanted was to have these two items shipped to my store for pick up. I have been a long time loyal customer of Boscovs. I returned the original two items to my local Boscovs. I then had to order over $59.00 worth of merchandise to qualify for free shipping. I really only wanted the two items. In my opinion this is not how you would treat a loyal customer. I await your reply.
Yor store and not supply boots for people with big sizes

Purchase of sofa on May 7, 2022
To Whom It May Concern:
My husband and I purchased a sofa at the Westminster Boscov's location on May 7th and it was delivered on May14th. We purchased the extended warranty with the sofa, but the warranty appears to be a waste of our money. I have contacted the store three times to no avail.
I spoke to a representative in the Westminster Boscov's furniture department on September 28, 2022, and they gave me information on how to have a customer service representative take care of my sofa. Again, I spoke to a representative on the customer service number the 18th of October, He stated that he would contact the company contracted to take care of problem. I still have not received any call back to rectify the situation. Last week, on Oct.31st, I spoke to Glenn, and he said that he would email customer service and they would get back to me. No response. This leads me to believe that Boscov's does not stand behind their furniture and leads me to believe my money was wasted. We paid for it on our Boscov's charge to pay for our purchase and warranty.
My husband I have other furniture purchased at Bosvocs and it is in better condition than my new furniture. What can we do to rectify the problem? Please call me or email me with your response to this matter.

I found the Boscov's website. They were the only place I could find a cup I was looking for. I put several in my checkout bag online, then when I got to the final purchase page, I realized I was close to the no shipping fee, so I went back and shopped online a little more and added a couple things. My Microsoft popped up when i went to check out saying I had coupons, so added those. Like 4 times I went to the final checkout page and the amount kept changing, so I would go back. Finally figured out the problem and finished my order. I got a confirmation email and was set. Until my husband saw our bank statement a few minutes later. Every time I got to the checkout page; we were charged that amount. I HAD NOT CHECKED OUT. I did not check out or complete purchase but was charged 5 different times and the money taken out of our account. I was only spending $70 on my purchases, but they took out over $300. When I called, I was told it would be back in 2-4 business days. So now my kids don't get to eat for a couple days, because that was my grocery money. So, it is ok to take money from people's bank accounts without permission from this company. HUGE PROBLEM AND DONT KNOW HOW THAT IS LEGAL! BE CAREFUL PEOPLE. If the credit card number is in there, on one of the final checkout pages, THEY WILL CHARGE YOUR ACCOUNT. I cant say enough how crappy this is and again do not know how that is legal.
Desired outcome: Not only to get my money back NOW, not in 2-4 days, but to NEVER DO THIS TO ANYONE ELSE!!

hearing aid center
Went to hearing aid center in Toms River, nj, First of all they should tell you the hearing aid specialist is only there one or two days a week and usually only until noon. Don't think price was really a bargain, but my main complaint is having it adjusted. I originally wore it for two weeks like they said, and then returned to have it adjusted. Told again to wear for two weeks which I couldn't because it was just terrible , could not even watch tv with it due to noise added. Called in a week , told he was on vacation. Waited another week. Went in to have it adjusted again. He said he was sorry but he would put it back to original setting, So back to square one, still not satisfied. Afraid to go back for fear it would get worse again.

My wife Sandra and I have a Boscov's credit card for 47 years. I purchased furniture in the Pottstown store last year and took advantage of a promotion charging no interest if paid in 12 months. The last statement I received from Comenity Bank was in March 2022. I sent Comenity a payment of $237.82 in March leaving a balance due of $200.00 My intention was to pay the $200 balance in April before the promotion period ended. I never received a statement from Comenity since March and still have not received one. Experian notified me on 6/27/2022 that my credit rating dropped from 830 to 679 because I was 60 days in arears and I owed $319 to Boscov's. I had my bank that very day 6/27 pay the $319. and Comenity accepted the payment. I have tried almost daily since 6/27 to contact Comenity, I can't log into my account get a message something is wrong with the Web site. and when I call, I get a message we are experiencing high call volume call back .
Desired outcome: Can Boscov's contact Comenity and have them contact me. I want to know why they ruined my credit rating by not sending me a statement.
Ashley Cooper King Single Quilt
This is the second time I have purchased a bedspread from Boscovs. Never complained about the other one. This time I purchased two bedspreads.
The one is great. This is the problem (I can't seem to get into my acct to see the date. I'm sorry about that it was in June)
The second one that I love is Montego Bay King Single Quilt. However the design is not correct the design shows flamingos correctly...mine i have to have it turned and they are sideways. Really blows the whole look. And yes I tried to turn it but then the sides are too long and the length isn't long enough for the bed. I even held it against the sea shell one to make sure i had it right direction. I probably wouldnt be upset it you would have listed this as a "second" and it was not. Nor was the one i bought the year before. The cost was 19.99 I just am confused why you'd sell it when it was printed wrongly on fabric.

Went to Boscovs to purchase several items. All was great until I went to checkout. I am a 100% disabled American veteran. When I placed my discount paper on the counter she gave me a very nasty look. It was as she was angry because I get a military discount. In the last as each item was scanned, the cashier would then scan the discount barcode, she scanned a couple items and then scanned the barcode. She then pushed it at me and said “Here take it!” In a VERY nasty tone. I let it go, 8 assumed she was having a bad day. We still had more items to be scanned. Again she pushed the military discount coupon at me and said “Here take it!” This time more nasty than the first. I said “Don’t you need to scan it again?” She said “Take it just take it!” I was ready to say forget it and just leave the store. Since there were customers behind me, I didn’t want to make it harder for them by having to wait as she removed the entire sale! I decided to leave and let Boscov’s know that just because I am a disabled veteran, I don’t believe deserve to be treated like my discount was a problem for her. If she only needed to scan it once, she could have said. “Here is your coupon, I only need to scan it once.” AND if she didn’t want to be there, she should have gone home, instead of taking it out on customers.

Falsely Accused of Shoplifting
On Jan 22, 2022, I was accused of shoplifting merchandise totally $102.63. They said they had me on camera put the merchandise in my car and my tag number and driving away. They call the police, I listen to my voicemail when I got home, and it was the police wanting me to call them. I return their call and left them a voicemail. The officer called me the next day wanting me to come to the police station. I went in, he read me my rights and told me Boscov's accused me of shoplifting. I told the officer I paid for my stuff. I had to call the credit card company to prove I had paid for the Merchandise because I did not have my receipt with me. They prove I paid for the merchandise at Boscov's. I think something should be done about this. I was falsely accused of shoplifting. Now it is on my record that Boscov's accused me of shoplifting. What a humiliation this is to me. I will never step foot in Boscov's again. I will even close my Boscov's charge card. This is very wrong to do a customer that paid for their merchandise.
I went to Boscov's before work on March 24, 2022 to the shoe department to buy a pair of shoes. Not crowded, with two sales people, a reddish blond tall man and a bobbed brown hair woman. I went to the cashier area, where the sales man totally ignored me standing there and the sales woman waited on another person. I waited patiently and after finishing up with the customer the sales woman just stood there looking away, like I was not even there. I said, can I please have this shoe in a size 9, she immediately turned around and went in the back where they keep the shoes, she came out after a few minutes and went over to the other salesman and started talking, I said where's my shoes, she got all huffy and said, "you wanted them" and glared at me with such hatred, what in the world was her problem? she came out and thrust the box at me, I went over to try them on at the chair and the sales man was there I asked him to find me a manager, he left abruptly and I went up to the cashier area to purchase the shoes, the salesman and the saleslady came out from the back, he went in and told her I asked for a manager. She came up to me and said, very loudly, with a big grin on her face "you want them" I said of course, glaring at me the whole time. All I wanted was a pair of shoes, a very easy customer, a long time customer. This store is in Toms River, NJ. Found out the reddish blond salesman was the manager and the saleswoman name was Marie, got this info from a former Boscov's employee. I found a woman standing in the aisle with a notebook in her hands and I asked her if she was an manger, I had a complaint, I told her what happened and she said never was that acceptable she said she worked for Boscov's but was visiting. She stated, I will take care of this even though I am visiting, I hope she was from corporate. She said they have had a bad year don't know what she meant by that, but I will shop elsewhere. No reason to have sales people who treat customers like she did with me, a former employee told me, the saleswoman at the shoe dept. was a long time employee, if she did that to me, she must have done that to others. The store was very empty of customer's, I wonder why? Is Boscov's so desperate for sales help to keep sales people like that? I have a credit card with Boscov's and considering shredding it, just can't fathom why someone would treat a nice customer looking to buy one pair of shoes, it's not like I went up to her with five different shoes to get for me in the back, I bought one pair, yikes,
Promotional credit offers
I purchased an item through your store on the store credit card provided by Comenity Bank. I have been making all of my payments without issue and recently realized we were getting close to the end of the promotional plan. I called Comenity bank when I realized they were NOT allocating the payments to the promotional balance as provided in the agreement. I have been trying to get this rectified since December 27th 2021 and today January 4th had several account representatives misleading me on my calls and one Lying to me and all refusing to verify the payment allocations. Specifically Representative Helen Employee I.D. 125080 lied on the phone and hung up on me refusing to allow me to speak with a supervisor. this was the 5th representative I had spoken with today. These employees identify themselves as Boscovs employees and reflect negatively on this store, they appear to be there to "handle" callers and NOT Assist. I have never been late on any credit payment and try and keep my balances low. I do appreciate the credit program and its design to be of convenience for your customers when needed. Thank you
Desired outcome: I need to recieve verification that the promotional plan has in fact been paid off without being told to wait 30 days or more till it expires and they charge additional interest.
Order not received
On Nov. 27, I placed an order on line for 3 items of clothing. I still have not received them. Fed Ex tells me the store chose the cheapest way to send them and, as of today, delivery is now pending. I wish I could cancel the order and go somewhere else to make these purchases. I am not only disappointed but angry and fed up.
Briggs capris
I recently ordered 5 pair of briggs capree pants from your store. I did receive all five pair. The tan pair fit great, but the second time I wore them they got a "pilly" between the legs. Also, the front left pocket is tearing out. The green pair also fit great, but someone must have ironed them, and they have marks down the front pleat. The white pair are huge... The black pair fit great and the blue pair are the same size and brand as the black, but need about an inch taken off where the hips should be, because they are huge. I normally buy briggs because of their consistently and quality... Not this time. I am very disappointed!

I purchased two Catnapper recliners with heat and message on March 13, 2020, we received the chair the end of May, and by November the one chair's frame was bent and no longer reclined. We called a number of times and finally in December we got the appointment for March for someone to come and look at the chair. On March 12, 2021 the man came looked at the chair, took pictures and said the would either replace or fix the chair and we would hear within 3 to 5 days what the plan would be. Well here it is March 27th, 15 days later and we still have not heard a word from anyone. I am so disappointed with the way this has been handled, and truthfully I want them to take the chair and give me my money back $339.99, and I will no longer buy any furniture from Boscov's.

My name is Elizabeth Arce, my daughter, granddaughter and mother lost everything due to a fire July 16, 2019 1639 S. Main Rd. I was notified by someone from Boscov at the Vineland office, they informed me that they were going to help me with clothes and stuff that we lost. Giving us a little of hope to start our lives all over again. They even asked for all our sizes in clothes and shoes to this day, a year later no one has contacted me and we have not received anything. I feel that they should have never contacted me if they were not going to follow through. We have been through so much since the fire and to have people falsely trying to help is so not fair and it's so wrong... We would have never thought that we were going to be treated like that! Especially being a faithful shopper at your company. Again we are so upset with the way your company treated us!
