It took me 3 trips to BJ's to buy tires, they said when they have a job started they CAN NOT leave it to talk to customers till the car is done.
When I brought my car in for tires I asked Don if the rule about NOT LEAVING the car unfinished to talk to other customers was true AND he confirmed it.
When I returned to the tire department after an hour of purchasing inside I found Don in the act of waiting on two customers AND ignoring my 4 tire replacement, after I found him in the act of waiting on others IT TOOK ANOTHER 20 MINUTES to finally return to my job.
Is it company policy for at least 2 employees to FLAT OUT LIE to your customers.
It's very disappointing to be treated this way AND makes me feel like purchasing elsewhere
Claimed loss: extreme duress
Desired outcome: what do you think is appropriate

You were lied to twice and then made to wait on top of it. That is not a misunderstanding, that is a service failure. Call BJ's corporate customer relations, not the tire desk, and ask for the club manager's direct line. Give them the date, Don's name, and the timeline: three trips and the extra 20 minutes. Demand a written explanation of their actual policy and a goodwill credit for your time and fuel. If they brush you off, dispute any tire service charge with your card issuer as services not delivered as promised. Keep every receipt and name. You are not being unreasonable, you are holding them to what they told you.
