Many time I have had Franzia boxed wine delivered to my house in Canton, MA from the Dedham MA store. Now it is "out of stock" or "unavailable" on the website ( Other alcohols are available for online delivery, though). I was puzzled so I emailed BJ's and this is the response I got :
"Hello Sandra,
Thank you for contacting BJ's Wholesale Club.
Usually, BJ's discontinues an item because it wasn't selling well or because we can no longer get the product from the manufacturer.
We will forward your feedback on this product being discontinued to the merchandising team.
But it is currently out of stock due to high demand. Please check back on our website or mobile app for inventory updates.
Please don't hesitate to let us know if we can help you further.
Thank you for being a loyal BJ's Member.
Regards,
Stuard
BJ's Member Care Team"
This makes no sense to me. In the first part of the email he says it was discontinued because it wasn't selling well.
Then he says it is currently out of stock due to high demand?
Clearly BJ's does not care about their customers. No resolution in this email. Very poor customer service.
Desired outcome: Resume delivery for Franzia White Zinfandel 5 liter box.
