BJ's Wholesale Club review: Advertised gift cards not available in warehouse/ online or when ordering on phone

This is the 3rd time this has happened.

I went to BJ warehouse on Snowden River Parkway 1st day (11/17/23) on Black Friday for the following gift cards: Chipotle value $30 on sale for $23.99 I wanted 2, Panera Bread value $25 on sale for 19.99 I wanted 2 and IHOP value $30 on sale for $23.99 — I was told they were unavailable the rep did not stock them. I returned to the store on 11/25/2023 — only to get the same response and it was suggested I try to order them online. I tried to order them online on 11/26/2023 but the website informed me they were unavailable at my warehouse in Columbia Maryland and would not allow me to order without a BJ warehouse location. Since The offer did not expire until 11/27/2023 — I called from work on Monday during my lunch break. When I finally was able to speak with a customer service representative, I was informed that all 3 gift cards I have requested were sold out. Then he informed me that there was nothing he could do for me, give me a raincheck or offer any other type of resolution. I ended up purchasing 2 Applebee's gift cards but I am not happy.

Desired outcome: It would be nice if I was offered a raincheck or the same gift card at the same value (the IHOP card contained 3 $10.00 cards--I would have been happy with 1 $30.00 card instead). I can be reached at [protected]@jhmi.edu
