UDI Is a company that presents itself as a legit water treatment company but all It all the CEO is a scammer. The company breached their contract by not showing up to make sure that my system was properly installed. The system waste water by cause a flow of water to simply be dumped from the system, which causes your water bill to increase. Ki had to unplug the system in order for the water to stop. The company CEO. will not listen to your complaints and has a bully mentality. The CEO leaked my personal account information to the public in result of me no longer wanting to do business with the company. The CEO Scott was unapologetic, rude, arrogant, and no sense of service demeanor. The CEO lies about product and the products provided to the consumer in the value

UDI was an amazing company to work with. The salesman who came in was thorough, kind, and very clearly knew his information. The things we were shown about our water was shocking and informative.We decided to move forward with the water system and installation was there the next mornin. It was quick and the installer was fast and friendly.Since the system was installed, my hair is so much softer, healthier, and I no longer need conditioner! My family drinks more water and it tastes ***. We use less soap and coffee because the water quality is amazing. We don't have any regrets paying for this system, and I can't think of any reason why anyone would. It is life changing!

From the salesman, to the installer, to the representative that came to check on us a few weeks after purchase, UDI has exemplified nothing less than outstanding professionalism. We went from feeling uncomfortable about purchasing anything at the moment, to being excited to pay the very fair price for this easy-to-maintain & life-changing equipment. Every representative we dealt with took the time to assure our comfort and knowledge of the product, leaving us fully capable of understanding the difference in our water, which amplifies the difference that we feel in our clothes, showers, drinking, and cleaning even more. I completely recommend this product, as it is not only going to eventually save you money, but also make you feel better along the way and thereafter.

Everyone we dealt with in person & on the phone was extremely pleasant and professional. Although we had no complaints about the quality of our water before the installation, we decided on doing the installation for peace of mind. While we feel that they may have over sold on some of the positive aspects of the filtration system (not needing to use hair conditioner anymore etc), we definitely taste the difference in our drinking & non-drinking water. That alone makes it worth the price to us. We had a fun time during the demonstration with our affable salesperson, Ken C ***, and we must commend our installer, Kenny, who did a really quick and neat job, and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We have no reservations about recommending this company to anyone.

SOLICITATION WARNING - this company hires employees to go to people's homes and solicit their business in person. One of their employees came to my home yesterday evening ringing the doorbell and knocking on my door trying to get a water sample and ask me some questions. I don't appreciate this and am requesting that this company doesn't have any other employees ring my doorbell or knock on my door to solicit business. I'm extremely cautious of people approaching my door without a scheduled appointment that I requested. I'm not interested in this service and I live in a newly built housing community and this is disturbing to me. In a world where we are dealing with COVID, other viruses, and scammers, why would you hire people to solicit in-person at anyone's house? This is inappropriate and not a good business decision and management needs to seriously reconsider having employees go door to door. We live in a new day and no one wants to be bothered by someone coming to their door trying to sell them a product. Very outdated process!

The experience with UDI has been great from start to finish! The initial contact that was made did not feel invasive and the two women were very polite! When a scheduling issue came for the in-home demonstration , they were polite and forthcoming as to why it needed to be rescheduled. We are happy we did because AJ was a true STAR! obviously we would have no way of knowing or comparing him to whoever we were supposed to get but we are glad that we got him. He knew his information, extremely relatable and did not try to force the product on us. His demonstration and poise it what sealed the deal for us. Our installer was amazing as well. He inadvertently has to dig more than he thought in which the digging interfered with some of our landscaping. He happily replaced the red mulch for us and gave us our tutorial. Our follow person was just as amazing as everyone else. She, too, was very knowledgeable and made sure our system was efficiently operating. She also gave us another walkthrough as to how to care for our system! All in all, my wife and I love our products, love our water and loved our experience! Thanks again!

I wish that I could do separate reviews for the different parts of the service but I cannot so I averaged it out to capture the not so wonderful parts too. So 1 star for the method of introduction. It was misleading and sneaky. I thought I was talking with someone from the city just doing water testing in the area. I didn't realize I being setup for a sell until they were persistent about giving us a 45min presentation about my water quality. NO BUENO! 5 Stars for the presentation. Even though I was livid that I got suckered into a sales pitch, AJ was every bit of professional, seemed be extremely knowledgeable and receptive to the voice of the customer (us). We made a plan to get him out of the house as soon as possible but mid pitch we were actually listening and hooked SMH! 3 stars for the installer. He came in and was not really receptive to the someone is working from home notice. But great install nonetheless. He did not do *** system review as AJ stated he would and he left a ton of huge boxes in my driveway after I went in the house. The boxes were not there when I walked him out. My soaps and stuff were just stacked up near other boxes and not addressed at all. So I wasn't happy about how we got setup for greatness with one and then blah with another. 5 stars for Faridah the follow up person. She was amazing. Explained everything and made sure to do a thorough walk thru of the system with me unlike install guy. We have been using our system for about 3 months now and yes Yes, YES! We are happy with our purchas. There is a difference and you will taste it when you are not home lol. Thanks again for tricking us into doing that water sample.

I want to be upfront about everything for future buyers of the system. First, I want to state that I do love the system and the benefits we are already seeing from it. However, we had to wait a month to get our system installed. We are not upset with the installers at all. They were wonderful and unforeseen circumstances arrived causing them to not be able to come back. So we, unfortunately, had to have a trench in our front yard and a broken sprinkler system for about 3 weeks. I am just unsure of why the company itself did not reach out and/or send different installers. Thankfully our HOA was very understanding of what was going on and we did not get fined for our yard not being maintained as we normally would. With that said, the rest of everything is all positive. My family suffers from psoriasis and eczema, which both have significantly gotten better. Also, my daughter's acne has cleared up within the week we have had the system. Being avid water drinkers, we love the filtration system and the taste of the water. The soap supply is wonderful as well. Our representative had me calculate what I would spend in a year on typical cleaners and soaps, and I never realized how much I truly do spend. Having this package with the cleaners added is great. Plus, you cannot beat a lifetime warranty. Also, our representative, installers, and the woman who came to check the system when it was finally installed were all wonderful, professional, and knowledgeable. Overall we love the system and the only reason for not giving all 5 stars is the fact that the company itself did not reach out when we were waiting, only when they wanted the contract signed (which we couldn't as we still did not have a system installed).

After feeling as if we were tricked by the sales pitch, my husband and I decided to purchase the water system, being told it would help our washing machine and dishwasher run more efficiently with less soap.We felt very pressured by the sales rep into purchasing the system while my husband and I tried to discuss our decision (the sales rep continually interrupted our private conversation to repeat the same statistics over and over).We finally consented, being told that we could return the system, paying only a restock fee (no timeframe was given, leading us to believe there was no limit). We were also told that with the financing we chose, we would be given a 3 month payment-free trial period to make sure the system is doing what we were told it would (this is actually what the sales rep told us! Verbatim!).After install, we have not noticed any difference in our washing machine or dishwasher. I tried using less soap, as I was told would work, but neither my clothes more dishes came out clean. In the end, we are using the same amount as before, leading me to believe that the system is not performing as promised. After realizing that the system is not doing what we were told it would (only 10 days after signing the contract), and believing we had 3 months from install to declare this, we reached out to the company (left 2 voicemails), but were simply told You cannot return it. We will not take it back.I researched their reviews on ComplaintsBoard.com and found someone mentioning a second rescission period but could find nothing that says that in the contract. We were never told 3 days and now we are stuck paying for a system that does not work as promised.They claim that customer satisfaction is their #1 priority, but it is not true. If it were, they would take back their system instead of weaseling their way out of keeping their promises.

WHAT WE NEEDED: We very recently moved to St. *** County and soon realized that something had to be done with our municipal water supply to alleviate 1) the mineral stains on glass shower sliders, sinks, toilets and on dishes, glasses, flatware and other items that cycled through the dish washer, 2) the excessive use of soaps and shampoos for showers/baths and even dish soap when we did not use the dishwasher, and 3) the rather strong chlorine odor from the tap. FIND A FIX: We did not have to wait too long before door-to-door reps for three different water treatment companies arrived. After a short introduction by each we agreed to have our water tested in their labs. For each company, this was followed by a home visit by a tech/sales rep from each company. During each visit, in our presence, the tech *** a water sample and preformed analogous tests to confirm the results from the lab. OUR CHOICE: Fortunately for us, UDI was the last door-to-door rep to arrive at our home and within less than 30 seconds it became very apparent that *** was very polite and, importantly, articulate and knowledgeable about what she presented. About 36 hours later, Cliff, an equally intelligent and well-spoken tech arrived and explained the entire process of the UDI system, its installation, operation and (very minimal) maintenance. By noon the next day the UDI system was installed and operational in our home. That was followed a week later by a visit from *** who was there to ensure that: a) all was working properly (and even walked me though the UDI process while she was doing so, from the water supply line to the faucet), b) any and all of outstanding questions were answered (she handled them expertly), and c) that all of our needs were met. The bottom linenot only did the UDI system rid us of all the water issues we faced, at every step of the way it was a sincere pleasure working with the UDI representatives.

I want this review to be as transparent and helpful to potential customers as possible. I'm going to very clearly lay out my experience with UDI in hopes that I will be able to help potential customers determine if UDI is right for them. First I will start with the things I like about UDI. The conditioned water really is wonderful. I think it's a well known fact that Florida water is gross. Even if the water has been treated by the city, it still tastes bad, is stinky, and leaves my skin feeling dry and tight. The conditioned water from UDI tasted wonderful right away. It was soft with no odors. My skin is definitely better. We went on a trip for a week and I noticed how dry and ashy my skin had gotten. After 2 days of being home, the dry skin was gone with no need for lotion or moisturizers. The main reasons we decided to use UDI were because of the lifetime warranty offered, the soap package, and the promise of safe and clean water that we can take with us if and when we move. We also had a wonderful customer service experience with the employees at UDI. Everyone was very personable and came off as intelligent and knowledgable about the products. They were also very quick to get us the promised gift card for watching their presentation. Second, I will talk about the things I didn't care for with the UDI and how they went about selling us our system. First, they came to our house saying they needed to do a water test. The person that came gave us very little information. I had no idea I was going to be pitched a product on the return visit. Honestly, the interaction was so short and uninformative, I thought they were someone from the city. It took some digging on my part to find out that they weren't. They told us that the 2nd "meeting" would take 45 minutes. It took well over 2 hours. This might be my own pride talking, but I am uneasy buying things from a "door to door" sales person. I didn't like feeling backed into a corner with the sales pitch and they used obvious sales tactics that I felt were a little insulting to my intelligence (such as starting with a high price and then saying we will get a significant discount if we sign up TODAY). I also felt that they grossly exaggerated the price that an average family spends on cleaning products. They used these figures to show how much money we would save by having to use less cleaning products with their conditioned water. I felt that the sales demonstration as a whole was a little misleading and definitely an exaggeration. They used a portable conditioning system that filters the water straight from your sink for their demonstration. The water you will actually use will have to go through their tank plus your water heater and tons of pipes before getting to your sink. It will be soft water, but it won't be nearly as soft as the water they use for the demonstration. I also felt that their claims for how the water would affect your life were exaggerated. Some examples are... you won't have to use hair conditioner, this will save your house and all of your appliances, your dishes will be crystal clear, this will cut your cleaning time in half, you will be able to use half as much soap as you do now etc etc. I wouldn't expect the conditioned water to be a miracle cure all, but I felt that's how it was marketed by the sales person. Also, the soaps smell nice and I'm glad that they're all natural, but they're nothing special at all. The shampoo and body soap are mixed with the conditioned water, so they're very runny. I have been wanting to make the switch to natural cleaning supplies for a while, so I'm happy to have them, but they aren't any more effective than soaps you would buy on your own at the store. When the PR rep came to our house to see how we were liking our system a few weeks after installation, we told her that one of the soaps was open inside the box when it arrived and had leaked out. She said she would get us a replacement, and we haven't gotten it or heard any more about that since speaking with her. In conclusion, I'm glad we have the system. I like the water, but it will not fix all the problems in your life like they make it seem. I still don't know if the price was worth it. I'm sure there are cheaper systems out there that would have worked just as well, but I felt that the lifetime warranty and the soap package would help offset the initial up front cost and hopefully make it worthwhile in the long run. I don't like the obvious sales tactics used by the company or the fact that the claims about the water seemed to be exaggerated. Ultimately, I'm glad we bought the system. I hope this is helpful to anyone reading. Also, if you have decent credit, I would recommend doing all you can to insist on little to no interest on the loan.
