I shop BJs almost every week and saw once someone preparing a hero sandwich - looked good, fully dressed - lettuce tomatoes, etc.
My husband's 65th birthday was coming up and I was throwing a large party - 100 people so you could imagine how busy I was that day but I had ordered 2 sandwiches, one American, one Italian. My husband ran to get ice and pick up the sandwiches. He got back and what he brought me was day old bread with some meat and cheese spread across them - no dressing, no lettuce, no tomato, onion, spices, oil & vinegar, mayo, NOTHING! DRY STALE BREAD WITH MINIMAL MEET AND CHEESE! He was given two plastic containers of about 12 slices of tomato and some shredded lettuce! I have never been so disappointed but learned a lesson - NEVER AGAIN and in fact, I don't think I will buy anymore cold cuts, pastries, cakes, etc. from BJ's deli department again and will be sure to tell everyone of my experiences.

Recommendation: Go to Shop Rite or a deli but never BJ's for sandwiches.
