Payment
I donated on 9/18/22 at 1:45 pm which lasted until about 2:40pm. At approx 4pm I received an email for a $50 bonus (over 2 donations) between 9/18/22 and 9/21/22. I have my second donation schedule for this Saturday. I should be honored the first bonus of $25 and then the second once I donate on Saturday (9/20/22) I’ve emailed and called leaving numerous voicemails and cannot get anyone to answer
Desired outcome: $25 bonus to my account
Deferment
Last year when I first started donating plasma I went through the physical and screening process. This year Upon returning for my physical there was a piercing on my top of my left ear that they had not noted. As a nurse myself I believe your nurses are supposed to do an assessment at the beginning of donating. As I did not know what I was doing when I first went into donate I don't see this as my fault. I have not had any new piercings or tattoos and all of my piercings are older than 10 years. I was then deferred forever because one of your nurses did not know one of my piercings. I would not have left out a piercing upon questioning I feel your nurse made a mistake and I must pay the price now and I cannot donate any longer because of it. This has upset me and I will be sure to tell my family not to donate with you as well as my friends and colleagues. If there is any way you can work this issue out please let me know if not I am sure I can reach some type of board that you're affiliated with or that does monitoring for your facility I just do not think this is fair in any way because you're nurse was incompetent.
Desired outcome: I believe this is unfair and unjust and I would like to donate again at my facility at bioplasma as it is the closest facility to me in the most convenient.
I need someone to contact me from biolife asap. Greatfulmother1984@gmail.com Carrie Floyd
I have left messages at the link provided and Noone has contacted me on this matter and it has not been reviewed.

I FEEL RAPED on Watson Rd. I will be filing assault charges at that facility. These people are crazy. After asking 3 times before I was stuck how much money it was. I had no intention of staying and the tech knew that. So, she stuck me anyway and after 2 hours came and said Oh yes, it 20$. So that's why you didn't tell me before you stuck me. And they will tell you they don't answer the phone there you have to come in. I would not have wasted my time. I am not a dope fine. Then the guy to came to talk to me didn't work there.
Desired outcome: I want the $80-$100, I call to ask them were they given. There policy is to not answer the phone. Don't use trickery because the lobby is empty and you have a quota to fill.
Rough and rude
I’ve been donating the last few weeks at the McDonough BioLife location.
My veins are small and it’s only a few workers at this location that can find my veins without having to fish and dig multiple times.
The attitudes of some of the technicians are absolutely disgusting if you don’t like what you do find another role that suits you better.
I will be calling the headquarter location to file a complaint as well.
Desired outcome: Customer service Training follow up from headquarters
Plasma donation/payment
Staff is forgetful and apathetic. Whatever. It happens in workplaces, though you don’t really want to see it in healthcare or related fields. Do something else if you don’t care. People just vanish and do whatever.
Wound up with a hematoma on my last visit. No apology. The responsible employee didn’t even try to remedy the situation. Others did it for them. Ended up missing out on work and had to go to doctors. All for $20 too.
Payment scale is messed up. No info. Phone operator had no idea how it worked. You’d figure you’d wanna retain healthy people with good blood who can donate regularly instead of gambling on new people. Makes it seem like retention isn’t a thing because it’s a scam.
Even assuaged first timers’ fears while I was sticking around for observation. You’re welcome. Could’ve told them to leave. But I am telling friends and family to donate elsewhere.
Desired outcome: Compensation of some sort

BioLife plasma services.
I went today for my 3rd donation. My second one was 2 days ago, where they could not stick me, and the girl was digging into my vein. Today it was the same girl. She proceeded to put the needle into the same exact hole that was used 2 days ago, and also started digging into the same exact spot for the second time. She then takes the needle out and says “we’re done here, and when you come back you need to go to management”. I replied “why do I need to go to management?” To which she responds “when you come again you need to go to management because we can’t stick you.” She didn’t ask if I was ok, after digging into my vein. I now have a giant bruise and the site where the needle was is painful when I move it. She made me very uncomfortable and made it seem like I was so wrong and in trouble for not being able to be sticked? Very unprofessional and made me nervous. Why would you make your donors feel like they’re a bad person for you not being able to stick them? She only tried one arm and didn’t even check the other.

Donation
I’ve gone in to donate nine times since June 24, and turned away each time because my pulse is one or two over, but that’s caused by my medications. So that basically means, because I’m a disabled veteran with adhd, I’ll never be able to donate, although every other portion of my vitals is perfectly fine. If plasma is so needed, why discriminate donors who are perfectly health because they’re heart beats slightly faster than you’d like? My resting heart rate is 105-108. Nothing wrong with me, just something out of my control. I can hold my breath and it still won’t stay down to meet standards. Or if my BP goes up after frustration and my pulse drops within range. Outrageous. Drug addicts and alcoholics can sober up and donate before I can because my heart is sped up by medications and asthma.
Desired outcome: If I can’t be cleared to donate, I’d at least like the compensation I would’ve received from giving so much of my time waiting around. The coupon I was given would make $900 for 8 donations, but bonus because I’m military.
donating
About a month or so ago, maybe (probably) longer they took their 4 month sample. I was told afterwards that protein was low on that sample. I would have too resample, so I did (after waiting 7 days). Then I would have to wait 7 to 10 business days while the 2nd sample was sent to a doctor to be tested. So I waited. On the 7th day I stopped in to check on...

I have been donating plasma for awhile now but after these last few weeks I believe that BioLife has gone down hill. They seem to keep over scheduling for appointments and understaffing their centers. This has caused the employees to rush during donations and this last time I went I had an issue which has never happened. This could be prevented if they...

Why are donor fees different in different counties of the same state? And why, with inflation being what it currently is, do your donor fees keep going down when other plasma donation services pay twice as much? My time should not less valuable than last week, and it certainly isn’t less valuable than a neighboring county. Crazy! I feel devalued!
Bruising
I am disappointed I started donating in June . And have only been able to do it 3 times. And on August 2nd my coupon will expire. I have be refused because off the bruises. I have a friend who has donated 300 times and havent had this problem. I really want to continue. I have an appointment for Tuesday but I think the bruise is going to stop me once again.
I would like to continue with Donating is there anyway I can get someone who is an expert to do it so I can be a more Productive with my donations. At this point I should have received my total bonus. But only have received a small amount. Thanks Rita the photos off the bruise is after a week.
Company is descriminating against us.
The first time I went in I had my id on me but not mail, or my social and they plugged in my social on their computer to check me that way, and told me for the first donation they could left the mail slide, but for any donations after that I would need a piece of mail with my name and address. Well my blood pressure was a little high then so they told me I could return, I did and they asked for mail despite telling me the first time they would wave it. I mentioned I didn't have a first time because my blood pressure was a little high, so I waited a few days and returned, and then they changed the wording...ok fine.
I got my fiancee to go instead since most of the bills are in his name so he gets most of the mail. We don't have state id's for Florida yet due to lack of funds now, something they told me was fine since they said the name just had to match what was on the mail.
He went in today, showed them all the necessary documents, and was called a liar and told we didn't live here, even though our condo is a 7 minute walk from the biolife place. Why lie each time and say something is fine, only to change what you say each time?
We are having a hard time financially, that's why I was trying. We tried for food stamps and they told us we make too much, even though the bulk of the money goes into our condo payment, electric bill, and phone. I was going to use the money from when we donated for food.
I feel like we are being discriminated against due either being originally from another state or our age. So are you guys racist too on top of that, sexist...anything else?
Desired outcome: I would just like to be able to go in and donate and move past all of this, but if they keep changing the rules each time we go over not sure it will happen.
No leniency on appointment
I made an appointment at 6:05 for 6:10 and I was 10 minutes away I called and they said that was fine then the bus was training somebody so it was way stupid late and so when you're 45 minutes late they make you sit and wait for 8 to 10 hours so that you can take their way way in the afternoon schedule instead of just squeezing you in like they should when you went out of your way to be here to donate to save people bunch of crap and I believe I will find somewhere else to donate unless you let me now.
Also the security guard working this morning seems like she thinks she knows me so when I walk back into inquire about maybe talking to somebody like a supervisor or squeezing in she is bashing me to the employee up front as they stand there and laugh don't give me anybody else to talk to you and just say no I'm sorry with a little smirk on their face so that's how you treat people who are donating to save lives really not interested in dealing with you rude rude rude
Desired outcome: That security guard to never be on site again and you guys have more latency with people we can't control the buses and when they decide that they are going to do training with new drivers and drive 2 miles an hour you know that's not fair
Customer Service
This companies customer service is horrible. I have put in multiple requests for contact on the corporate website in which upon submitting it states you will be contacted within 3 business days and I have not heard back once in over a month.
I have also requested a call back from a manager 2 times from my donation center in Denton. TX and have not had the call returned. I have referred multiple people to this service/company and will not be any longer. They don't care about their customers, only their bottom line.
Wait, you want me to go thru the same process I have already gone threw 3 times and expect a different result? How about you find my already existing contacts via my name, and reach out to me. I'm not going to continue jumping thru hoops.

Donated at Denton, TX location as well as the Dallas Belt Line location
I am complaining about an employee at the FM 1960 location
I had gone through the whole process of my first time donating and made it to the interview. This really tall black lady with braids asked me one question "what did you eat today?" And i told her I had a glass of milk, water and a breakfast burrito from taco bell she immediately shut me down and said i hadn't eaten enough and she wanted to "terminate" the...

Do not use them! Go anywhere else! They pay $20, screw you out of promo codes and tell you "sorry"
They get paid by your donation - boycott this dump!
I became a donor for the $850 pay out. My initial spe sample was short.1 of protein, they made me wait a week to retake, so I did. Then another week for the sample results, then another week for the doctor to review and approve. By this time I was now a month out, and my "coupon" expired. So when I donates, expecting the $110, I got $20.00 and eas told sorry, your coupon expired. You are the reason it expired! You delayed this for a month so you wouldnt have to pay! Fix this!
Desired outcome: Fix this...give me a BETTER PAYOUT COUPON! And be a better company

Compensation $20
I donated twice in 2018 at the Hayden, ID Biolife for $50 and $60. Now on 7/19/2022 I brought in a promo for 8 donations at $850 that was not valid as I was not considered a new donor. So I was paid $20 minus a $5 fee for a new card. $15 is ridiculous. I would never have wasted my time and gas for $15. I could have tracked down a returning donor promo code if I was aware of how thing worked. Unfortunately the phone service was so slow in the building I was not able to do so during my appointment.
Desired outcome: Other promo codes exist. I just happened to bring in the wrong one. Compensate me appropriately considering inflation doubled the price of everything since I last visited 4 years ago. The pay rate of $20 / $65 is insane.
No communication found. However a 4.95 and 50.00 appeared. Fair enough. Thanks.
Compensation
I was told I receive an extra $20 for my first donation as well as my $80, I was only paid $20 for a 883 ml donation! I was at the casselbetry fl location on July 16th 2022 3:30pm
Desired outcome: Full compensation for plasma received.
Plasma donation
7/15/22 time 3:55 pm. I arrived feeling fine and checked in. 3rd visit. First 2 visits went fine. No issues. While taking my vitals my BP is fine as usual. I'm 55 years old. I have a resting heart rate of between 90 and 110 at any given time. I also have ADHD. My heart rate was 101. They said it had to be below 100 for me to donate. I sat down for a bit as directed. Took my own heart rate using my apple watch 7. I got 95, 97, and 98. They took mine again after 15 minutes and said it was too high again. Do you guys want anyone to be able to donate? Why is a heart rate of 101 in a perfectly health male of 55 years, 185lb 6ft tall and BP 172 over 78 bad?
Desired outcome: I would like a little leniency considering my situation. My doctor knows it runs high and is not concerned. No heart problem history. I would like to donate plasma, it's very important to me to help where I can. Thanks.
Employee mistake
Hi I went to donate plasma I never had a problem donating ,until I start coming here first time they blame it on the machine ,,this time they blame it on me ,, but before the lady stuck she made a comment about me having small veins I ask her three times ask could she see them she said yes,,than she stuck quickly but fast she came back twice to adjust I ask her was it kool she said yes but it wasn’t than they ask to stick my other arm I refuse because the last time they through the blood away said they couldn’t put it back this time I no she was wrong I have a report from urgent care so y’all could see she needs to be fire
Desired outcome: She need to be fired and plus I would of got 65 I only received 20 im go seek and attorney because she need to lose her job
