Big O Tires Big O Tire on MLK, Fayetteville AR 72703

On August 27th my mother in law took her car in for brakes.

When picked up the car was jumping bad. We took it back and then they said

it needed struts now for $1600.00. The car was fine when we took it in. The paper work doesn't match up or their communication between each other and us. They said they had all new staff in last 3 days.

The paper work on 27 did not match that on the 31st, Big O staff

Statement did not match up.

Desired outcome: The car did not need struts when we took it in for, did not jump around, only brakes. I would like for a complete repair of the struts with either it being the front or both. They had written it down both ways.

Big O Tires tire thread/mileage warranty not honored

I purchased Aspen tires at the Big O on Union Blvd in Lakewood, CO on 06/22/21 for our 2014 Ford Escape.

Tires were rotated in August and December at oil changes completed by Grease Monkey.

February 2022 a tie rod broke and the vehicle needed an alignment. This was completed by Big O and the tires were requested to be rotated at that time. I am now being told that did not happen.

Yesterday I took the car in to evaluate noises in the front end and the front right tire being more worn then the other 3. I had hit a large pot hole a few days prior and the noises started on Friday. I was concerned about damage to tie rod or struts. Big O determined an alignment was needed and told me all 4 tires need to be replaced. The 3 remaining tires are at 4/23. The alignment sheet provided only showed the front right tire being out of alignment. No warranty would be applied to the new tires for mileage and thread wear since it was an alignment and failure to conduct routine maintenance. Wes also stated the warranty I was trying to apply was for roadside and there was no warranty for the mileage/thread wear to be applied.

27,000 miles have been driven with three tire rotations and two alignments since the tires were purchased a year ago. There is still 50% of the tire mileage and thread wear on the tires. Maintenance has been performed on the tires during this time. I have receipts.

Second issue -

The Big O has the Escape listed as a Ford Truck not SUV/Crossover and the tires quoted for replacements are over $1,050.00 even with the buy 3 get 1 free deal. No options were provided for less expensive tires. They stated they would give me a good deal with buy three get one free. This feels a bit predatory.

Desired outcome: The mileage/thread warranty be honored towards new tires of my choosing.

Big O Tires Paid $378.00 for a/c freon/ 2015 hyundai unrepaired

Previous mgmt has been very good to my family & our 3 vehicles since u opened here in STV. This was our 1st experience with the new mgmt (Jarrod so?), Men stood there, behind the counter, yet said nothing upon our entrance. I thought it was odd that they don’t have basic customer service greeting skills, it only takes a second to say hello when there’s no one else in there. Just sayin’…

secondly, no one called to tell us what’s up w/ our 2015 Hyundai - in need of a/c svc, after several hours, I called to find out that they had already ordered the parts… I asked, why didn’t you call? You always call me first and then ask permission to go ahead to fix the vehicle…no response… No acknowledgment to what I said; He said it would take just a few minutes, this was pleasing, so we picked up our vehicle, it was still blowing hot air, so we had to drive both cars all the way back, they said it would take five minutes, they left us sitting there until they closed, not telling us anything, our car is still there today and we have rec’d not one word from anyone - What happened to basic yet pertinent communication? Just plz, if you can’t fix our car, we will take it elsewhere, Don’t say the car is fixed when clearly it’s not. communicate, answer the phone, greet people when they come in, and take accountability when you’re wrong… I am retired military w/ a new masters in mgmt; These guys show exactly how not to get it done, I hate that I had to write this. I was here when that place opened its doors; San Tan Valley has a small town vibe - Bad word of mouth will fly around very quickly… I hope you guys get it sorted; it’s over 100°, Don’t treat my mom like that, just tell us what’s going on, It leaves me no choice but to make sure this doesn’t happen to anybody else’s mom or family - I will be going public about this experience unless someone apologizes to my mom, Regina Long. PS she has brought her vehicle there every year for an oil change, yet they couldn’t find her in the system… It was immediately apparent to me that the man (If asked I will give his name, he is very nice, I am not trying to hurt anyone’s feeling) is not text savvy.. There is not one thing that they did right from the jump.. At this point, The men in the family want to go get the vehicle and get our money back, I don’t want a big commotion, I just want my mom’s car fixed.

Big O Tires Alignment service plan multiple succesive poor alignments leading to premature irregular tire wear

Been to three different big o stores to have the sold alignment plan have the alignment done correctly. The first store who sold the plan, incorrect. Second store who aligned it twice incorrectly then send me to the third store who could not get in all in spec. Filed complaint with big oh customer relations number 7 calls and then get a call from the store manager at the first store who sold the alignment plan. Brought the vehicle back to the first store and ask for the the tire to be replaced and was told no, the second store wont acknowledge any wrogdoing the third store is out ot the picture. The customer relations line is a 3rd party company (not big o corporate) the manager I was given will not give any contact information to contact them they are all pointing fingers at each outer and was told I the customer is correct there is nothing they can do and will not do. Do not do business with big o. Each store is a franchise and individually owned. You are taking your vehicle in at your own risk. Big o tires will not stand behind their work in the northern nevada area. Big-o wont stand behind thier work and correct the errors of their technicians. Been a customer for 8+ years of big-o. (big-oh). Do not do business with big o perhaps they will vet thier franchise owners and have employee standards for the work techs do to your vehicle. You are on your own at big-o-tires

Desired outcome: REPLACE THE EXTREMELY BALD TIRE THAT WORE OUT DUE TO MULTIPLE DEFECTIVE ALIGNMENTS AND OR REFUND THE COST THE ALIGNMENT PROGRAM SINCE NO ONE WAS ABLE TO ALIGN IT IN SPEC

There is much variation in how they perform an alignment. if your tires wear out prematurely due to poor alignments its going to the customers fault even though the figures from thier own alognments does not match to the spec of the manufacturer. When one store cant fix it they send you to another store and another store to confuse the orgins of the issue. They will find something wrong with the vehicle if possible when nothing is wrong with it to avoid takng responsibility and making the issue right. Calling the customer relastions lins (try it) will defelct the issue back to the store that took your money. Double check how the service receipts are written up and customer states verbiage must be confirmed by manager and or tech prior to acceptance of the final worksheet. These "pros" know how to protect themselves truly at your expense. This experience is similar to going to Iffy Lube (add a J at the first letter). EVERY STORE is separate with the BIG - OH name on it.. Buyer beware.. The stores do not work with each other because any non paid work the expense is the store your at.

Big O Tires Poor brake repair

On or about June or July of last year 2021, my husband had my car taken to the Big Os tire store located at 76 th and Wornall street in Kansas City, Missouri 64114. We had new brakes put on my 2014 Nissan. Within a week, I took the car back complaining that they were not braking properly. After close examination the mechanic said there was a piece of metal caught in the brake? He removed it and sent me on my way.

All appeared good until December of this past year 2021. The brakes nowclatter when I apply the pedal and the car shimmers in the front causing the steering wheel to vibrate horribly. My husband had a similar issue with his Honda Ridgeline and Big O's at this store did not respond to correct the issue. We purchased a 2 year alinment program there and do not want to take our cars back to to poor quality workmanship. We took the cars to another mechanic to have brakes placed on my husbands car. He said Big O's used cheap brake pads values at less than $20.00! He has not done any thing to my Nissan but I do not trust that Big O's is living up to good standards and not providing quality care to customers. I would like a refund on my purchase so that I can have my brakes properly repaired at a reputable company.

Desired outcome: Refund

I went to Big O's located on 76th and Wornall street in Kansas City, Missouri. I had met the manager found him to be a nice person and decided to do businessw with him. Went there to but set of Michelin tires. He said he could not get them. Took my Honda Ridgeline there for new brakes and alignment. Had new rotors and brakes put on. Purchsed two year alignment program. Brake repair turned out to be a failure. Big O's refunded my repair. Took my wife's 2014 Nissan to Big O's about the same time. New rotors and brakes. Now six months later her brakes are failing. I have submitted a complaint and requested a refund. I would advise others to beware. Moreover, Big O's needs to clean up its act and give people quality service for their hard earned dollar.

Big O Tires I went in with a small tire repair. I was planning on buying tires I had cash.

I had planned on buying two tires for the front. Rebuilding the front end near completion. I still do my own Brake Jobs. I was an Autoworker for 12 years. I had a bad experience with Big O many years ago wanted to maybe try using them as my primary tires for my Tacoma Truck and also the SC400 Lexus I am working on.
I walk up and the Tire Boss tells me about 2-4 hours. I was trying to get this done at Lunchtime as I am working 12 hour days 6 days a week. On a Hazardous Tree removal project up in Berry Creek.

Daniel AKA Tire Boss told me to try a Mom and Pop Shop. So I did I looked up the closet one and did get my repair and also shall have my tires special order next week.

Desired outcome: Daniel be talked with

Big O Tires Tires/Brakes and Rotors/Oil Change

2019 - Purchased 4 new tires from Big O tires.
09/03/2021 - I had a screw in my tire, I was told that it could be repaired but that they only had 1 person working and to come back tomorrow.
09/04/2021 - At 3:30pm I Came back for a tire repair but was again turned away due to the only tire mechanic working on another car.
As I was driving to another Big O tire location on Rancho Drive, my tire when flat.
By the time I was able to get the spare put on, all locations were closed.
I had to pay $125 for a new tire when my tire could have been repaired for free.
09/05/2021 - scheduled an appt but someone called and cancelled
09/06/2021 - I went in to have my other tires checked, an oil change, and new rear brakes and rotors. Although I had an appointment, I spent over 4 hours waiting.
09/10/2021 - I noticed my a grinding sound coming from my back breaks, I went back to Big O but was turned away do to them only having 1 mechanic. I was told to return the following day.
09/11/2021 - Returned but was again told that they were to busy to look at my car.
09/17/2021 - Returned again but was asked to come back on 09/20/2021
09/20/2021 - By the time I arrived the shop was closed
09/21/2021 - Was told they only had a tire mechanic working, told to return tomorrow at 8:15am
09/22/2021 - After looking at my car, I was told that I again needed new rear brakes and rotors. They made it seemed like it was something I did that caused them to go bad within 2-3 days. They agreed to replace them for free.

I wasted so much time waiting for repairs, taking time off work only to be turned away. I've currently been waiting close to 2 hours for my brakes to be repaired for the second time in 3 weeks. This is unacceptable!

Desired outcome: Refund

Big O Tires Oil change and the cat converter

While taking my chevy hhr 2008 2.2 L to Big O tires for basic services the first issue was them messing with the cat converter where the engine light keeps coming on and there problems is that, that they kepted ordering the wrong one for the longest time. The most recent one is my daughter took the car in for an oil change a few weeks later the car started making noise and the engine cut off. My daughter said that it ran out of oil, so the service on the vehicle was not done properly. I found out that it could be the pistons, the vehicle started having issue after leaving the Big O store. So I am holding Big O responsible for our vehicle being damaged. This Big O Tires is in Las Vegas NV and the store number is 787, the worker their is Erik my daughter does not know his last name. I myself called the Big O store talked to Erik and turned everything around Lying too me, my daughter has been taking the vehicle to Big O for the longest time. I know that automotive places try to take advantage of females since they think they know nothing about cars.

Big O Tires Deceptive advertishing

Big O Tires — Oil change Monday, May 17, 2021
4520 N Rancho Dr
Las Vegas, NV 89149
[protected]

We received a coupon-laden postcard from big o tires, free tire rotation, free alignment inspection, and a $24.95 or $24.99 oil change. That oil change ended up costing $58.83; my wife, who took the car in, all ninety-eight pounds of her, kept pointing to the $24.95 or $24.99 oil change written on the coupon but to no avail. Wanting her car returned (yes, in these cases, the automobile is held hostage.) so she could finish her errands, so she paid. Now, I am complaining! Any help out there!

Desired outcome: STOP DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING!

Big O Tires Warranty

I bought tires in November and two months later I had a nail on the wall of the tire. Took it in to be fixed and was told they couldn't fix it. That I had to buy a new tire. I asked well I should have a warranty right? No It was never offered on at purchase time and now I'm getting the run around of all excuses the manager can possibly make so I can pay for a new tire! First it was the guy sold me the tires at a discount price which I didn't know I'm not on the other side of the desk to know what they buy/ sell them for? That's my fault! Then it was you never received a warranty?! Well of course I wasn't offered one for purchase. And now I'm getting told we don't have to offer it at the time of purchase. Also, my fault?! Then the manager is saying I'm already loosing money to buy selling you this tire at what I'm trying to give it as with labor and all. Over 200 Hundred dollars! Now I'm out of a tire that isn't fixable and have to find one else where. People please take your business somewhere else. This is the worst company ever and they can't even do the right time to help anyone out!

Exact same thing is happening to me. I even shopped around for the best warranty! They never told me about this extra warranty for purchase or $30 that would cover a nail in the tire. I absolutely would have paid it!

Big O Tires Refusal to check balance of Michelin tires 3yr 9mn old still in good shape

Want to check on a set of 4 Michelin tire I bought for my truck from B O tires in June 2017 (06/07/2017). Tire model - defender LTX M/S, Dot code: AP5E00HX1317
Thomas Anderson, 161 Columbine Dr., Lake Havasu City, AZ

I have an issue with The B O tires #4066 Lake Havasu City. I was refused service (check balance of tires after oil change & rotation) of my Michelin tires that I had bought from this store. After being told that the cracking on side wall of tires (3yr 9 Mn old - 11, 439 miles). This salesperson went out to check - said tread wear was OK but had sidewall cracking. Went on about Michelin rebate and borrowed a comparison photo card with photos of tire cracking, after her sales pitch she had NO information and said to go to the Michelin website. THEN SAID "THEY WOULD NOT CHECK THE BALANCE of the Tires" I had bought from this store! After walking out - I was approached at my truck by a man from the office wanting to help ask to come back and that they would take care of the balance checking. I WAS STILL OUTRAGED and said not now. I have been doing all my tire & oil change/ service since 2009 and had been a big fan of this shop. Sad that this young salesperson took it upon herself to refuse service. Will send photos of tires if wanted.
Invoice No: [protected]/11/2021 of oil change & rotation
Tire sales invoice # [protected]/07/2017
$803.80 9 - $200.95ea
TPP EXTENDED WARRANTY - $144.68
Total $1, 148.99

Big O Tires Personnel

Feb 18, 2021 I went to the Big O tire store located at 1801 W. Foxwood Drive in Raymore, Missouri. The time was approximately 1:00. There was a female employee working the counter. I advised I needed to purchase some tires and gave her the tire size. She printed off a quote and proceeded to show me a "like" tire on the showroom floor. The size was 275x60R20. No indication whether this was a P Metric (passenger) tire or a LT (light truck) tire. I asked the clerk what the ply rating was on the tire and she advised she would need to ask her manager. She went in the shop area and spoke with someone (I could see her through the glass) then came back and advised me "it's a standard 8 ply tire". I told her there is no such thing and she became defensive and argumentative. She said "sir, I've been doing this for two years and I know what I'm doing. Besides, that's what my manager said it was". She proceeded by saying "if it was a 10 ply tire it would say load range E". I then proceeded to inform her that if it was an 8 ply tire it would say load range D and if it were a 6 ply tire it should say load range C. There is no indication of this tire being an 8 ply tire. She got very defensive at that point in time and said "just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I don't know what I'm doing. You can just talk to my manager if you want". I told her that is exactly who I wanted to talk to. She went back into the shop area and was gone for nearly 5 minutes before coming back to the front lobby and advising me that her manager was on his lunch break and didn't have time to talk to me. She then said "and the tire you are asking about is a 4 ply tire, my manager just looked it up". I said "so it's not a standard 8 ply as your manager said in the beginning"? I then said "I no longer need to speak with your manager, I need to speak with your district manager". She said "fine but I'm not giving you his name or phone number". She then left me standing in the lobby and marched herself back into the shop area. There are a lot of training opportunities in this store it appears. The manager isn't giving his employees proper training nor is he giving them correct information nor is he supporting them when there is someone asking to speak with him.

Desired outcome: I want to speak with the district manager at this location.

Big O Tires Oil change

On 09/17/2020 I went to Big o for an oil change. I said I wanted synthetic oil and have used other Big o locations in the past, and was treated well and asked the best price he could do for me. He said I can give you adeal with a tire rotation and oil change, but I said I just bought new tires and didnt need a rotation so he told me I can do an oil change for 46$. I said great lets do it. a bit later he took me in the shop and said you might have brake problems. I said I dont have time for that now plus the company that put my tires on checked the brakes and said they are fine. my mind was preoccupied with my work but when I got home I called him back and asked him if that as synthetic oil he put in my car, he said no thats conventional oil, I said ive always had synthetic oil since I bought it new and he said well for 46$ I couldnt do that, so I told him I would of paid the difference for synthetic. Also why did he take all my wheels off my car when I only asked for an oil change? I have been in retail sales for over 30 years and know that this is very unethical and misleading practice to conduct. They should at least reimburse me for my oil change, but more than that I dont want this guy taking advantage of innocent people on their car needs.
Wyatt Sorenson is his name.

Big O Tires Oil change service

Twice I called for an appointment for an bbn oil change and both times they said come in on a monday at 3pm. The first time they rescheduled me because they had no record of me calling and they were busy. The second time the manager ed came out and asked me what I needed obviously I was not on record again. I told him and he rolled his eyes and said oh god... There was no parking to boot. I walked out and will never go back. He came to my car as i'm waiting at the red light to leave tapping on my window. I'm ready now he says. I would never feel as if they did a good job considering they were so busy. I don't appreciate my slot for service being unrecorded and unsaved. Not once but twice. His attitude was atrocious... Thank you...

Big O Tires Quote for tires and shocks

On 3/5/2020, I went to Big O near me where I always get my oil changed. Don Nylund assisted me, and I left the car to get the oil changed, I returned to find that my back two tires had bubbles in the sidewalls and were from 2014 (this car is a 2005 Ford Focus with 71000 miles on it that sat in an elderly lady's yard till my dad bought it for me with 59000 miles last year so I agree that the back tires needed replacement. Don quoted me $240 for basic nothing special tires and told me I needed NEW SHOCKS also, but to focus on the tires as "they could blow anytime". I am disabed and live on a fixed income. I told him my son worked down the street at Insane Power and I wanted to check with him first. He started prompting me to call him asap but I will not be bullied and I told Don to put the old tires back on and I'd drive down the street to see my son who works on race car engines. Don kept impressing how dangerous the 2014 tires were, that I was lucky I hadn't had a blow out yet on the freeway, yada, yada, yada.I went to see my son and he called Discount tire where I was quoted $160 for two back inexpensive tires, and Walmart where I was quoted $148 for basic tires. Now I am a female and feel like because I am not anatomically the same as a man that your rep must think I am stupid about cars.A car that sat undriven for as many years as this car had also shouldn't need shocks. This was confirmed at Insane Power and Walmart that my shocks were fine. In fact, one person even pointed out what I already knew and that is because I am a woman I am an automatic target for upselling. This is an appalling practice and trying to scare me into getting the tires done right then (which he impressed I do), I am somewhat familiar with cars and, knew I was being taken for a ride by trying to overcharge me for tires and upsell me on shocks. I have been getting both our cars oil changes for years at this location, but rest assured I'll pay more elsewhere and will no longer patronize your business. It is outrageous that because "I am not a man" that I know nothing about cars. If nothing else, I know to get a second opinion. To put it in perspective, the mechanic at Insane Power stated "yeah the guy who told you that you needed new shocks can suck my nuts". Your company sickens me.

Big O Tires cracked my windshield

To whom it may concern- On Friday November 22nd, 2019 I went to the Big O Tire Arvada location 7425 W 52nd Ave to have all four of my struts replaced and also my sway bar, as recommended by this location. While my vehicle was in for repairs and in their possession my windshield was cracked. I realized it as soon as I came to pick up my vehicle. I told the Manager, Aaron, he came out to view the damage. Aaron immediately acknowledged that it was damaged while in their possession and assured me he would get it taken care of and have my windshield replaced. This was on Friday November 22 at 4:45 pm. On Monday, Aaron called me to tell me he didn't "feel" like he should be responsible for the damage to the windshield, although he agreed it happened while in their shop and should not be responsible for paying for it. The witness that was with me when I picked up my vehicle advised me to seek legal action however I thought I would reach out once again to attempt to allow this team to correct what they obviously agreed was their fault. I have reached out to the DM, 3 locations and the corporate office. I have called 9 times and left 4 messages and yet no response. I am very upset with how this is being handled. This is a company with which I have entrusted my vehicle to for years and with all major repairs. I am beyond frustrated and appalled at how this matter is being addressed. Requesting a full refund by december 1st, 2019. I was at selma texas #043115 had my oil charge, battery remove and clean, and front brakes replaced. I asked to have negative battery cable removed as it as severe corrosion and have problems starting, as i have brand new part in the car. Rather then change it, claimed they could clean it instead. I was told by brake lights were out and that they need replace even though i told him i seen them come on, when they moved my car. The next day my car won't start, only to see the battery was still has same amount of corrosion.

Only to return and be good it wasn't done at all. Waited hour again, week later my engine started running loud, car started having issues starting again, and then my brakes started squeaking. Until a week ago my car will not start at all. I called the location, not only did they give us attitude over the phone, they made us fill like we were an inconvenience.

I did let them know i called corporate as i feel like i paid for a service i didn't receive. They say will there nothing they can do, i have to wait for district manager. Besides i have to get my car to the location when i had to push the car up hill with my kids. We haven't received a call from no one at all.

This is beyond ridiculous, i left my number. I like to get a call this week, in order to get my car fixed somewhere else.

Big O Tires customer service

I was left on hold for a substantial amount of time. I hung up and called back. The guy who answered said I must have have talked to billy who was just walking back across the street from little ceasers.

Astounded I asked if I was really left om hold while billy went to get pizza and was assured that billy did mot do this. Billy claims that he came back amd I wasnt there. I find it hard to believe that in the 5 seconds it took me to hang up and call right back that billy even had time to come back to the line and realize I was not on the line anymore. Much less have the time to have already walked actoss the street to little ceasers and come back. This is unacceptable. The phone nunber for this store location is 270-321-3002. I will most likely never repy on Big O for anything moving forward due to the terrible customer service I recieved from Billy.

Feel free to notify my by phone at [protected]
Or by email at [protected]@gmail.com

I dont expect anything to come of this again the customer service ive recieved from your company has been beyond terrible. Ive taken to social media about this matter as well

Big O Tires general manager yahya memarzadeh worst customer service

General Manager Yahya Memarzadeh has the worst customer service I've seen. I bought four new tires and two of them started leaking right away. I Went in to get them fixed. The third one started leaking I had to come back again and I was told my rims are causing corrosion and the valve stem is leaking. This was very disturbing because I had to make multiple trips when Big O should be the expert and should have at least taken care of the problem on the second trip. Due to time restraints I had to come back for the fourth time and general manager Yahya Memarzadeh checked me in. I told him His workers confirmed on the last visit that the valve stem was leaking. He asked me if my tire light is blinking and I said yes. He insisted I was wrong and it's can't be the value stem. What he did not realize and was confused about is my type of car, Acura TL, flashes the tire light when the pressure is low and shows a maintenance light for other tire issues. I felt that he did not leave my explanation of the problem as an option because I am a female even though his workers even confirmed it. He should have inspected the car before he made a conclusion. The only service guy I received excellent customer service was Frank Rice service advisor at the same location. Please at least talk to the general manager because I'm afraid that location is going to lose a lot of business. Sincerely Julie Ramirez [protected]
