Big O Tires caused damage to my car

Well I notice the plastic cover peice was hanging down on my vehicle so I decided I would take it to big o tire to see what they could do. They pulled it into the shop for me and said that they would screw it back up for us which they did. A few days later my air conditioning went out so we took it in to get fixed. Well the company that fixed the air said whoever put the screw in the plastic piece put it right threw the air line. When we took it back to big no tire in Ankeny they said that they would take care of it. After a week or two the owner of big o tire finally called back he was extremely rude calling my wife every name in the book. And to never come back to his store. It was very uncalled for. Especially when there mistake cost us $500.

Big O Tires shady deals

Just be careful when dealing @ this location. They might appear very helpful, but you'll find out you've been scammed. They will offer you a deal of buy 2 get 2 free tires, but you're really paying for 5 tires on top of a stupid warranty you'll never use. They will leave your lights on, until your battery drains and you will end up buying a new battery. They will guide you backing out of their driveway and hit a sign post.

You're better off getting your tires at Costco.

Big O Tires no bolt on control arm

I almost died last night. I was driving and suddenly heard a pop sound. Fortunately, the police were a few cars behind me. They asked if I had work on the brakes recently. I stated yes about two weeks ago. They stated "the ball joint came off the control arm, they forgot to put on the bolt." they took pictures of where the bolt should have been and suggested I have the car towed where I had the brakes fixed.

Big O Tires services caused damage

I am very upset with Big O Tires and the service my mother-in-law received ultimately resulting in a threat to her safety and costly repairs. She had taken her 2007 Dodge Caliber to the location in Clarksville, In. to have her tires she bought from that store to be rotated a few months ago. She had informed my husband she noticed the front passenger tire was showing major signs of wear so on 05/27/2013 (Memorial Day) he went to her house to put a spare tire on before she went to work. He could not loosen the tire because Big O Tires had rounded off the lugnuts. Big O Tires was closed on Memorial Day so we wanted to take it to the closest place open, Valvoline inside of Walmart. They also could not get the lugnuts off and did not have the ability to repair it that day. Ken Towery was the closets place that was open on Memorial Day so we drove it over there to see if they could repair it. They had to end up cutting off the lugnuts to even get the tire off. When they did get the tire off they ran into another problem. Some of the threads from the holes in the hub assembly were completely stripped. According to the technician at Ken Towery, the damages would have occurred when the lugnuts were over tightened. This caused very unsafe conditions and costly damages to the vehicle. Ken Towery said it would be $630.00 to replace the hub assembly. We ultimately ended up paying $100.00 for the labor already done to the vehicle at Ken Towery. We wanted to get another quote, and as we did not trust Big O Tires to take care of this issue properly because of the incompetency of their technicians, we decided to get a second opinion at Hoosier Brake and Exhaust in Jeffersonville, In. Hoosier Brake and Exhaust confirmed the problem was a result of over tightening the lugnuts and the entire hub assembly would have to be replace. For parts and labor the total bill was $550.00. Because of the mistake made by a Big O Tires technician, it caused a total financial loss of $650.00, stress, time, and a vehicle that was technically unsafe to drive after the initial damages occurred. I have been in contact with Big O Tires and have spoken to Barbara in Consumer Relations as well as the manager of the Clarksville, In store, Doug Skidmore. At this point, the only compensation they are offering is $350.00, a little over half the loss. this is not an acceptable offer. This mistake was caused by them, therefore, it should be fully covered regardless of who did the final repairs. We wanted the issue handled by someone we trusted and unfortunately Big O Tires was not at the top of that list because of the incident that occurred. We are very dissatisfied with the outcome of this situation caused by a Big O Tires technician, especially considering it caused damages that were a threat to my mother-in-law's safety. I expect full compensation for this hazardous mistake, not half.

Big O Tires worst service ever

Back in December '11 I had 4x wheels replaced, front pads done, front rotors changed as well as both outer tie rods. It is now March '13 and the past year I have been complaining of what a suck job they did on my vehicle. Yes, at first everything appeared normal and I thought when things are 'brand' it takes time to break them in. Well on my Pontiac, it has had the same grinding, squeaking, creaking noise when touching the brakes to stop at a light or before I am about to pull out of a lot. The noise is quite embarrassing. I mean, damn, that's why I paid money to have the damn thing fixed!

So every time I go in, I wait countless hours while the techs 'look; for issues. This holds me up dramatically as they are never busy so I do not know what is taking them so long. I only go here because it is warrantied 2 years/20k mi. So the guy at the desk name Mark and his ### associate are just ill-knowledgeable in their field. Where did you get your degree or think you got it from? I try not to tell them it is warrantied so they can point out the issue and then I can slap them in the face with the paper I paid nearly a stack for. SO I took my car to AAMCO (trust shop) and they provided an estimate and said my car wasn't right and to take it back. I also had an issue with the RF wheel bearing. I took to BIG O and compared their price with Firestone and these f***ers did the LF wheel bearing. UNBE-f***ING-LIEVABLE! Are you kidding me? Seriously? I initially took the car in because my engine was making the noise of a jet and I didn't hear it so I assumed it was fixed. However; I have no knowledge in cars and try to trust the shop who I am paying money to.

They deny any issue of my car squeaking and everyone drives in my car or out can hear it so these old guys are deaf or need a new hearing aid. HAC!

Bottome Line: ***********DO NOT SHOP AT BIG DIRTY O TIRES*****************

Big O Tires service

Be careful! Do not use this big o tires store on geary and cook street.in s. F. For any services.
But if you do use them, make sure you stay there and watch them to do the work. I have been a loyal customer to this store for almost 18 years. It was a great store in the past, but it became a "do not trust" store now. I had some bad experiences with them on my last 2 services, I suspected they did not performed all the paid services. So when I took my car in today for the alignment, tires balance/ rotation and oil change, I decided to stay at the back waiting room and watch them performing the work to my car. First, a tech changed the motor oil. Then my car just sat in the station for 30 minutes, then they moved my car to another station. About 20 mins later, a tech lifted up my car. As soon as my car up in the air on the lift, a service tech called me on my cell phone and told me that my car was ready for pick up. I couldn't believe the alignment had already done that quick, just up and down magic. And I didn't see them re-balance and rotate the tires.
Because they didn't know I was in the back room watching, so I walked out to the counter and acted normal. He wanted me to pay, and told me the services were done, my car was parked in the drive way. So, I confronted him, but he told me they did all the works. Then I asked for the manger, he simply told me he is the manager. (Mauricio c.)
Of course we had some discussion #$@#$*! Then he told me there was a problem, that's why the services weren't completed. I asked him why he lied to me. He answered "I don't want to argue with you". Then he told me the tire rotation was a free service, and he could have someone to do it for me now. That got me hyper! What about the alignment work, I paid $ 400+ for 5 yrs wheel alignment plan. I paid $80 for the tire balance/rotation plan; and I pay for each oil change. There are no free services. He walked away, and came back. He asked me "yes or no if you want the tire rotation" my lord, what kind customer service is that?

Some background info.
I replaced 4 new tires to my car last year, the former manager johnny helped me. I paid $600 for the tires, and paid addition $20 extra for each tire for balance and rotation plan. Johnny charged me another $100 for 4- wheel alignment, because he said it was off. But they only adjusted the front wheels, not to the rears. They told me that toyota did not recommend to adjust the rear wheels.
Months later, I went in for oil change and tire rotations. Johnny helped me again, he told me that my car needed a alignment service, really? I told him that my car had a wheel alignment adjusted few months ago. He told me a car needs a alignment service every [protected] miles. Really? I refused to buy the service, and I told him that they could not perform 4-wheel alignment to my car, so it is useless. Then johnny told me if I didn't do the alignment service, there was no way they could perform the tire rotation and balance service again, he had to void my tires warranty. Then he offered me a discount for a "5 years 2-wheel alignment" for only $399.
In order to continue have the tires warranty, so I did purchase the 5 years plan.

Big O Tires customer service is horrendous!

I took my new Dodge Journey to Big O Tires on Winchester Avenue in Temecula, CA for its first oil change. Staff looked like ex-cons, dirty uniforms and horrible customer service. Charged $46 for a $19 service after being told previous manager got "Booted" for charging coupon price. Smeared oil on light colored seats, floor and steering wheel. Supervisor said can't help you come back later then had profanity laden rant about, "F'ing Kid" that did service when he saw oily stains. Took car for cleaning on Saturday per their manager, then he refused to authorize cleaning 20 minutes after I confirmed cleaning with him! Told it takes 3 weeks to process a check to clean the oily mess out of my new car. Big O Tires couldn't afford or doesn’t care enough to use a $.25 seat/floor cover. Spend your hard earned money somewhere other than Big O Tires! Not one person from corporate customer service ever called or responded to contact us submission as I requested.

Big O Tires said that my truck needed repairs and it did not

On Tuesday, May 24, I drove into Idaho Falls, Idaho, I am just getting back to work from a total knee replacement. When I parked in the lot a guy came over to my truck and said that the front end was making a loud awful noise. Since I am alone and need my truck, I called the Big O Tires on 3193 E.17th street, Ammon Idaho. They were the only ones that could get me in right away. The mechanic came in and told me that I needed to replace my front drive shafts at $117.00 each. He did this, and then the front desk guy came over and told me that I also needed, $70.00 pitman arm, $103.00 idler arm, $$120.00, inner tie rods, $120.00outter tie rods and $355.00 labor. I was shocked by the estimate and decided to get another opinion. I went to Bybee's Alignment and Brakes on 251 A street, Idaho Falls for a estimate and guess what? All the stuff BIG O said that I needed was not required! They found a little play in the wheels but not much to warrent any work! Boy, I am still fuming over this... Did the sales man think he could just pull one over on me? In these hard times, how could someone do this?

Big O Tires service/deceitful practices

Dec 2010; I ordered 4 studded snow tires for my car; the told me I had to buy new rims so I did. When I drove down to get the new tires installed; I wanted to confirm with the sales person that I was dealing with that the tire sensors will still work, the manager of the tire store was standing there shuffling paper and started yelling at me; saying they NEVER said any such thing, I was totally shocked as I wasn't even talking to him in the first place, I turned back to the sales person and he stated that yes, they will work as it is activated by centrifical force and not an actual sensor unit (he made the mistake) so I got my tires ($1400), then they stored my summer tires for an addition $34... ok, I thought that was good. BUT, now that it is Spring; I called them to talk about swapping my tires over to my summers, they told me that they wouldn't install my summers until I bought 4 new tires from them, the told me they would be $225 a tire. I told them that the rear ones could need replacing but the 2 front were new and didn't, I asked if he could match them and he said he looked, not even a minute later he called back and told me to come and get my tires, they didn't want to help me. They have the WORST attitude I have ever seen, they're rude and they yell at their customers, they won't talk about tire performance or warranties, you really feel like they are doing you a big favor by even talking to you. If you do business with them; make sure you know what you're doing and be prepared to be VERY inconvenienced, treated like garbage and make sure you have lots of cash!

Big O Tires new tires blow out

I Bought 2 brand new tires and 2 days later the tire had a bubble on the interside wall and i took it back and they said i was not coverd cause it was drivin on and i called the main office and they said it was my fault and wanted to sell me a new tire i sent 480 dollars and and the want me to spend 120 more for a new tire the workers are drug users and dont know anything about cars thats tires places in st george utah for you

Big O Tires damaged aluminum rims

I have been a long time Les Schwab customer and recently decided to give Big O a shot due to the fact that Les Schwab has a very limited choice in the A/T selection. I visited the store located in Issaquah Washington. I found a set of Yokohama Geolanders P265 70 16 that I liked very much, I purchased the set and had them installed yesterday March 10th after I finished work, I work at the local Darigold plant across the street from them. They promptly installed the tires and I paid my 764.00 bill, it was pouring rain, like we always have here in Seattle so I jumped in the truck and left. On my way home I noticed that the truck was pulling to the right very hard, I have a 2005 Nissan Frontier Pick-up with about 59000 miles on it, never had an issue with this, shortly after I left the tire air pressure light came on, when I got home I pulled the truck into the garage and checked the air pressure, the front passenger side tire had 25 psi, while the other 3 had 40 to 42, ( recommended psi is 35 ), adding to my shock while airing up the front tire was seeing that all four aluminum rims had deep scratchs all away around the rims in a perfect circle in the same place around the rim. I went back this morning and spoke to the manager Jamie Ingle, he assured me they would take care of it, it was no big deal and that he had seen worse? ( That sure made me feel better ) I picked the truck up after work today at 3pm, they had buffed the wheels and got rid of 90% of the scratches, but you can still see some of it, some of the coating on the wheels came off. They seemed very pleased with the results when I picked it up and actually showed me the tire machine that had a worn plastic piece that had dug into the wheel. (That also made me feel much better about my trashed wheels) Anyway, moral of my story, I love the way the tires handle and ride, it's like a new truck, too bad the quality of the workmanship that goes into installation doesn't match the quality of your product, I'm highly dissapointed to say the least. I'm wondering if I have to buy the tires and take them to Les Schawb to have them mounted in the future, and even more so, what would have happened had I sent my wife in to have the install, she would have driven for days until the tire failed or caused an accident.

I'm Very, very displeased with the outcome of this but will make due with it. It's too bad in the long run, two of my co-workers really like the tires, Sorry to say I have reservations about recommending this store and I have to look at the damage every time I wash my truck, I thought about having the wheels replaced, I called Nissan today, 300.00 a piece, no thank you.

Big O Tires alcohol consumption

i have complained and called corporate offices about this problem that i saw but doesnt seem they care since that guy well i didnt know at the time but its the MANAGER well my concern is that i personally saw while i was getting billed out after i got my vehicle serviced at big o tires in kennewick the manager kevin clark drinking on the job well this happened around december i called corporate and they said they will address the issue but i recently went for a rotate and he was there by the way hes a jerk hes a real smart mouth he was pissed of for some reason that day and keep slamming the phone i just fel
t uncomfortable the other employees are great but he is a real ### i dont know how they can keep a jerk like that well to the point i do not feel comfortable having my car there because of the alcohol incident i dont think is right to be drinking on the job i just think it is unprofessional also a safety concern i dont understand why the employees didn't report him maybe they dont want to risk their jobs

Big O Tires scam

Today 2/8/11 I had a an alignment coupon for 49.99 from (1 stop auto shop) But is accross town, conveniently big O tires was right there where I was so I tough I stop by and ask them If they would honor the coupon, so I did I walk in and ask politly: Would you guy by able to honor a coupon for a different auto shop store? they look at it and they start laughing and they said for 49.99 NO way our aligment is 70 something. I said thank you i will just go accross town were I was suppose to go. I really want to understand why they would not honor the coupon they had 1 single car up in the lift. Anyways a block away in my way going across town I saw express tires, and they gladly honor the coupon...BIG O tires you SUCK! in the other hand Express tires Thank you very much!

Big O Tires misleading warranty

Hello all, I purchased 4 p265/70r16 big foot a/t tires from this store. After 14, 482 miles and 2 rotations. I have over 90% tread loss on 2 tires. It has not been 3 years yet as you are lead to believe your tires are warranted for and the store will not replace saying, the tires are not warrantied for tread wear, only the road service is. You might want to call these people and try and figure this out before you consider buying from this company. Beware, for I was treated like an idiot as well.. The assistant manager rudely told me that I didn't take care of my car, that the tires should have been rotated 6 times by now. They were the ones to rotate them.. I have mileage, dates, and their initials to prove it.. I called them back after a bit of research.. To see if he would honor the warranty, he said he could only prorate it and that I was mistaken about the warranty to begin with.

I think this guy owes the Asst Mgr. an apology. When the toyota was brought in a tire tech noticed something was crooked.
After cust took toyota to a body shop it was determined that the rear end was crooked, according to the body shop around 3 cm, that is alot. Come to find out the truck had been backed into a pole not once but twice. The Big O warranty does not cover that. Cust thought he should buy his son another vehicle.Like I said maybe an APOLOGY is due.

Big O Tires don't ever go there

Went to the big o tires on arapahoe road and quebec in centenial colorado yesterday for my oil change... When they gave me back my car the change oil light was still on. The man said he couldnt figure out how to get it to shut off. Thats funny.. The people at walmart had no problem getting it to turn off. As soon as I started my car and drove down the street the low coolant light came on. I took it back he put coolant in it then told me my intake was leaking.. I just had that fixed a few months ago and it has not leaked since. He said he saw fluid dripping from it and thats why my low coolant light is on. I bit my tongue and drove away. 1/2 way home my car over heated. I got home and looked under the hood. He had striped my radiator cap. I called back to speak with the manager and he informed me that it was not his issue that his oil change had nothing to do with my intake leaking. I informed him that my intake was not leaking that my radiator cap was stripped and thats the reason for the low coolant light, the car overheating and the fluid he sees. He told me no and hung up the phone. I called the corp office. Spoke wih a woman who said she would call me back. She never did. I called her today for an update and she said the manager (The one who hung up on me) has been trying to call me all day. Funny my phones not range once. I know this game and they are going to try and get me to give up. The manager dan drain is full of crap everything that comes out of his mouth is bs. I may be female but im not * when it comes to cars. I know what a radiator cap is. I know what happens when they strip my radiator cap. I know it wasnt that way before because I often check my own oil and fluids. The oil change that didnt even include a tire otation was 30.00. To fix my car it will cost me 50.00. I just paid 80.00 for the worst experience ive ever had with a shop. Do not go to this store. As a matter of fact with the way their corp office works id avoid big o all together.

Big O Tires doesn't care about its customers

8/20/2010 - Summit Blvd, Flatirons Crossing Big-O Location: I went in for new tire installation and alignment on my 2002 Chevy Impala. They had originally invoiced me for an alignment that the car after they checked did not need and then they decided to charge me $30 for their free alignment check.

Upon driving home I noticed a severe vibration in the steering wheel, which was not present when I dropped the vehicle off. A couple of days later I returned the vehicle and made them aware of the vibration. They rebalanced both front tires and told me they had initially given me the care back with both tires out of balance.

Again, upon driving home the vibration was even worse than the previous time. Later I would spend time removing my wheels at home only to notice that my hub centric ring on the driver side front was missing.The lack of this equipment prevents the wheel from being properly centered on the hub and generates a severe vibration causing substantial wear on suspension components and can lead to dangerous driving conditions.

The following morning I spoke with the manager of the Broomfield, CO. Big-O, Tom. He said that he would take care of ordering the ring and notify me when it had arrived. Eight days later I had heard nothing from anyone at Big-O, so I went down to the store. Tom, although present decided he was not going to speak with me concerning the problem he had already agreed to remedy. Instead in a passive aggressive manner he told me to take my business else where and voiced aloud to the store that they would as a matter of policy no longer be servicing vehicles with hub centric rings.

Before leaving the store another employee said he would call around and find me a replacement part for the one they had lost and were responsible for fixing. I didn't hold my breath waiting for a return phone call I knew would never come.

That night I contacted Big-0 corporate by filling out the online customer service form and requesting contact about the issue. Seven days later with still no contact from anyone at Big-O, I called the National Customer Service line and filled a complaint with a representative and was told that I would be contacted within 48-72hrs.

Six weeks later Big-O has held strong with their exemplary stick it to the customer service and I am ordering parts on my own at a cost of $100.

One of teh Big O tires for my all wheel vehicle blew up on teh freeway, the tread came out of its casing and cause damage to the side panel of the truck and the muffler, I tried to have the tire replace which is still under warranty, but all they say is that they do not have the tire on stock, and that I should replace all 4 tires for only $800.00 but they will deduct the one that blew up so it will be 'only" arounf $600.00 and not to mention the damage caused to the truck, whic they said they can not verify was done by their tire!
I used to be a good customer of Big O but no now.
I wonder if the government is looking into these complaint with the Big O tires.

If a company & manager can't admit they failed to meet their own standards and holds their own customers in contempt, they are not worth doing business with. I used to be a regular at this Big-O until I had the unfortunate customer experience of dealing with Burt. I had the gall of questioning Burt regarding the price tag on a repair quote but because I was in a bind decided to go ahead with the repair anyway. The next morning, the vehicle's warning lights indicated that they failed to complete the job by replacing the fluids - though they charged me for the fluids and $93/hr for "quality" service. Since it was 5am, I had to find a gas station to purchase & put in the fluids myself. When I called the next week to complain, Burt brushed off my complaint as no big deal and literally said "Is that all you're calling about?" I explained that I was charged for something not received and he told me I had a chip on my shoulder from the first price quote but that he would refund the $10 for fluid. Then he went on to defend the cost & quality of their service and parts. Apparently, errors are acceptable at this Big-O.

DO NOT BUY FROM BIG-O TIRES!

I have had 3 blowouts within 6, 000 miles and they refuse to admit they are bad tires, or not suited for my vehicle. Big-O corporate said that they will continue to replace bad tires on the extended warranty (thank god I bought the extended warranty plan), but they will not take them all back for an exchange or refund.

I guess I have to get into a serious accident, be injured, and have a lawsuit before anything is done. Not taking anymore chances and had them replaced at another tire store with different tires. I plan to take them to small claims court! What a hassle!

Do not buy from BIG ZERO and their "we will not please the customer” support policy!

I am a former Manager at Big O tires/TBC corporation; Let me start off by saying that this is one of the worst companies that i have ever worked for. They absolutely cannot keep managers working for them. They brought in a bunch of idiots from the east coast to work here on the west coast and they are simply way too incompetent to be in the big leagues. They sell junk tires-TBC brand, epic and cheap sumitomo tires that have a high chance to have a radial pull in them...complete junk! In the store that i was at, most of the technicians, if you really want to call them that, broke more things, or left bolts loose or off of vehicles more than they fixed them.. The left hand never knows what the right hand is doing. There are sooooo many managers and managers for managers...I have never seen a company that is so unorganized as this one... They run scams like buy 3 get 1 free on yokohama as530 tires, YET THEY STOCK NONE and the offer says in stock tires only... Then they try and sell you a cheap SUMITOMO PIECE OF CRAP or something worse when they break the news that they have no tires in stock for the special offer. They mark every part up that they buy, around 2.9 times what it costs them... You can get the ORIGINAL PARTS FROM THE DEALER CHEAPER!
They sell Michelin, Goodyear, etc for higher prices than you can find elsewhere... THIS PLACE IS REALLY A JOKE COMPANY AND I WOULD ADVISE GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE. But i will provide the Head of Big O tires, for the Socal/Vegas area EMAIL AND CELL PHONE # if anyone would like to speak with this idiot.

Big O Tires dishonest sales tactics

Staff was very friendly. Offered good tires. Salesman told me of promotion to get free oil changes when I purchased 4 tires. Salesman told me that oil changes are accepted by all Big-O tires and when I went to another store I was refused and told that service has to be done by selling store. Unfortunately, because of this one store I will never buy from any BIG - O again. Too bad I just gave $1000 to Goodyear

Big O Tires brake scam

i have been a big o tire customer for years and i finally realized what a scam the whole thing is. not only have i over paid for tires (thats why i buy only used now), but every time i make a point of coming in to check my brakes before the year is up i am given one excuse after another as to why they will not give me free brake pads, which is what it states in the contract. i travel a steep canyon road 5 days a week to sedona and my brake pads last exactly 1 year before they need to be changed. instead i was told i need additional parts that were going to cost me over 300 dollars and the owner came outside in an unpleasant way and made sure they were not going to cover the brakes. then they told me the vibration i was feeling was the old shocks and when they took the tire off they said it was someting else. when i took it to my regular mechanic he told me it was none of the things they stated. i know at least 25 people that are customers of big o tire and i feel it is my duty to share my experience with them. as for new tires, they have much cheaper ones at sams club and their labor is less and i can get my brakes done elsewhere. i will never go to big o again and thats coming from a customer of 10 years!

BIG O TIRES IS SHADY AND RUDE AND FAR FROM PROFESSIONAL!

I completely agree with both of you. It's like they hire ### holes for workers! Like WTF!? Does every one of their techs have to be a jerk!?

*****DO NOT USE “BIG O TIRES!” CON-ARTISTS!

Last Saturday morning, after parking at New Frontiers, I got out of my car and noticed that my back DS tire was low, and my front DS tire was going flat.

I called AAA and had my front changed to a spare. The driver told me the only tire shop open at the time was Big O Tires, on 89A.

I went straight there. The manager was pretty professional. It took them about two hours to patch both the tires, which seemed a bit much, but I was just happy to be able to drive again.

The cost for both patches was approx. $30.00.

I left Big O Tires at about noon, and drove to my office (a half mile down the road). I hit nothing. No pot holes. No curbs. No nothing. I parked and went inside and when I came out, at about 4pm, my front tire was totally flat again.

I called AAA once more, and had the front tire changed to the spare again. There were no open tire shops, so I drove my car to my home (2 miles away) and parked it there. I did not drive it anywhere else.

By midnight, the back tire was completely flat.

On Sunday, a friend/mechanic, came over to help me out. He had a look at the back tire and saw that—though it had been marked to be patched—no patch was ever put in the tire. The hole was still empty. He patched it up for me, and the tire worked perfectly.

He mentioned this kind of thing happens all the time at Big O. He has often had to fix their shoddy repair jobs.

On Monday morning, I drove the car back to Big O Tires and politely explained to the owner, a man named Phil, that I had been in on Saturday to have two tires patched, and that neither of the patch jobs “took.” He was immediately quite rude. He did not apologize, and told me I would have to wait an hour to be serviced.

I waited an hour and forty five minutes.

Phil then told me that my front tire had a tear in the wall, and that I would have to have a whole new tire put on my car. I asked him why his staff didn’t fix this when I brought it in on Saturday. His response was:

“You hit something after you left my shop.”

I then asked him—if this was true—to explain why BOTH TIRES went flat shortly after leaving here, and why the mechanic who fixed their mistake said no patch was put into the tire he fixed.

Phil’s response was, verbatim: “GET THE HELL OUT OF MY SHOP!”

I was frightened and did just that.

No explanation. No apology. No refund. All I got from Big O Tires was verbal abuse and what is inarguably the worst, most unprofessional service I have ever gotten, anywhere, from any business owner.

DO NOT USE BIG O. TIRES! YOU WILL BE SORRY!

Big O Tires bad sevice

went to Big O tires for a tire rotation and to check the tire pressures. As i have taken out a lifetime warrentee on the tires i bought there. When i got the car back the pressure was low and my brake light was on they didnt even check the disk brakes when the tire was already off and the disk brakes was right in front of them that is very bad busness.
