Sent my ECM in they said they couldnt fix it and wanted to charge me another $1100 bucks on top of the 500 I already spent. I can get a new one for 1200 so I had them send it back. Well should of saw these reviews or read the return policy because they basically dont do anything and take your money. Horrible company that doesnt respond. Thanks for nothing.

Went through 3 ecm with them. According to them they were quality tested. My mechanic said different. Truck wouldn't start put out codes. Finally got 3rd one in and got it tested from cat dealer and again no good. Wasted 1500.00 on labor swapping them all out and 1700.00 on ecm I couldn't use. No call back or email. Filed with bbb and consumer affairs for refund. Never work with these crooks

I can't say I had a good time using Diesel ECM Exchange (dieselecmexchange.com). They ain't worth no stars in my book - nothing but trouble! It seemed like they took my ECM and then disappeared into the ether - I couldn't get ahold of them no matter how much I tried. They didn't even have an answering machine or anything like that. I'm pretty dang sure I got scammed by these folks. They claimed they had an "iron clad guarantee" but that ain't worth a lick if they're not even picking up the phone.

Honestly, I'm real peeved that I fell for this. I feel like a sucker to be honest. And to top it all off, I have no idea how I'm going to get my money back. It's like these folks just disappeared off the face of the earth.

In short, don't go with Diesel ECM Exchange. They're nothing but a bunch of fraudsters. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

I recently purchased an ecm from dieselecmexchange.com for my truck and it ended up causing a lot of problems. I contacted their customer service and they advised me to return the ecm which I did. However, when I received my refund, I noticed that $300 was missing. They claimed that the ecm would have worked perfectly fine if I had just done a relearn, but when I called tech support, they never mentioned anything about a relearn. One of the guys from customer service even treated me poorly and acted like it was my fault for not knowing what to do, despite their website claiming that the ecm was plug-and-play and didn't require any additional steps. Needless to say, I'm extremely displeased with the service I received from these guys.

So, I had to send my Cat 3406 ECM to Diesel ECM Exchange (dieselecmexchange.com) for repairs because it wasn't working right. After waiting three whole weeks, I got worried and called them to check on it. They told me it wasn't fixable and that they'd send it back to me and give me my money back. I was relieved, but it still sucked not having it for so long. Anyway, it took three more weeks and lots of phone calls just to get the ECM back. Finally, I got it and thought that was the end of it. But nope, it's been four weeks now and I still haven't gotten my refund. I tried emailing their accounting department three different times and they haven't even bothered to respond. This is seriously frustrating and I don't think I'd recommend using this company if you don't want to deal with headaches and still not getting what you paid for. So if you decide to use them, be careful and make sure you stay on top of things with them.

Like, get the heck outta here. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a business. Don't even bother with Diesel ECM Exchange, man. Like, seriously, stay far away.

Believe me, if you're thinking about buying from these guys, don't bother. Save yourself some trouble and find another provider.

I needed a Cummins ECM for a customer's Dodge 6.7 and thought Diesel ECM Exchange would be a reliable source.

Unfortunately, that was not the case. After receiving their product, I installed it as instructed but the truck would not run. I contacted them immediately to return the product and after making over 50 phone calls I was informed that I would not receive my refund of $1295.00 due to my alleged rudeness with them. I was shocked as I thought the customer was always right. My experience leads me to believe that Diesel ECM Exchange is nothing but a scam artist that preys on people located in other states.

I recently ordered a remanufactured IDM from Diesel ECM Exchange to help get my truck up and running. However, to my dismay, the unit I received was defective. I was led to believe that the unit had been thoroughly tested and was reliable, but unfortunately, that was not the case.

After installing the unit, I noticed that the entire passenger side of the truck wouldn't fire up. This was a major setback for me as I was pressed for time. So, I decided to head to AUTO ZONE to purchase an IDM that would work perfectly and get my truck up and running.

I then returned the defective unit I received from Diesel ECM Exchange to them, hoping for a full refund. However, I was surprised to find out they had a restocking fee of $190.00. I wasn't pleased with this at all, as this was an entirely different situation from me just changing my mind.

To make matters worse, I had to make multiple calls to follow up on my refund, and even when I finally received it, I was out of $190.00 that I felt was unjustly taken from me.

In conclusion, I am very dissatisfied with the service provided by Diesel ECM Exchange, and I would not recommend them to anyone. They caused me a great deal of inconvenience and ended up taking my hard-earned money without a plausible reason.

So, I bought an ECM from Diesel ECM Exchange for a customer's Cummins that was in my shop. Installed it and it only worked for around 20 minutes. I had to double check everything, and turns out that the ECM has failed. So, called them up and they sent me another ECM that was in limp mode, and they couldn't fix it. They told me that all they could do was send me the same computer back. I took pictures since they had been acting sketchy. But then they sent me another computer that was completely different, and it had cobwebs and dust all over the circuit board. The paint was also fresh, and there was a void warranty sticker, like it was rebuilt. I think they just had another junk ECM ready to scam another person.

In short, don't even bother to waste your time and money dealing with this company. You'll only getting robbed, and if you are lucky to get anything back, it's just a mere paper weight now.

They requested that we send the ECM back for a second time, while we requested a refund instead.

The communication with Diesel ECM Exchange was far from satisfactory, as they did not answer the phone half of the time and when we did manage to get through to someone, they were unhelpful and unwilling to assist us. We were informed that our request for a refund would be escalated, but to our dismay, we did not receive any refund and they never got in touch with us later on.

I contacted them again today, and to my surprise, was told that it was too late for a refund, even though we had previously received assurance that we would receive one. They claimed they would need to escalate our request again but were unable to provide me with any assurance when I could expect any kind of response to our request. I was left feeling extremely frustrated, as no one would call me back, and I felt that I was left in the dark. The whole process was grossly unfair, and I was disappointed at the lack of assistance provided by Diesel ECM Exchange.

The two people I spoke to during my attempts to resolve the issue were Ryan and Brian, and neither provided me with any help or resolution for my problem. Overall, the entire experience was extremely frustrating, and I would not recommend their services to anyone. It is very disappointing when you trust a company to provide the service you need, but the service fails to meet expectations.

THIS IS A FRAUDULENT COMPANY! do not use them. I blame you Google for allowing them the top spot in your search engine! I sent the original ECM in good faith for repairs. They told me core was unrepairable and charged me $2000 U.S. for another core. It was the wrong ECM for my engine. I asked for a refund of money and my original ECM. I sent their core back to them and I still have not received any funds or my original ECM. At first they would respond to my calls but gave a different answer for progress update of my returns. When I started questioning the excuses for length of time on return Brian started giving an attitude and screamed at me "I don't care". Billing department does not answer emails ever. Now they do not calls or texts. As they screen their calls to avoid people.
