Big Lots Couch delivery

Delivery. So I ordered this couch on Thursday and paid for delivery which was scheduled to be on this past Saturday between 8am-8pm. Was supposed to get a call on Friday to schedule a time for delivery, that never happened. I went ahead and planned to be home that whole day through the time period, since I had no idea when they would come or if they will even contact. So reached out to customer service at about 2pm that day, and was transferred to the delivery company which then said it would be deliverd tomorrow (Sunday the 21st) between 10-2pm. Another day where I just waited the time frame just in case they came, and just like the previous day there was no delivery and at this point that is crazy. You would think that when a person spends nearly $1000 on a couch. that the customer service would be great and that was not the case. This is probably the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE that I have ever recieved when ordering furniture. It was almost like they didn't want to deliver and could care less about the customers time and lacking what they are supposed to be doing for their job. Now it's Monday, 5 days after ordering and no delivery nor update. It's crazy that when you pay the $100 for delivery online, and NOTHING has happened. I will make sure to never recommend Big Lots to anyone and will make sure that my story will be shared on all social media platforms, yelp, and whatever else I can find to leave customer feedback for.

Big Lots Couch delivery

Delivery. So I ordered this couch on Thursday and paid for delivery which was scheduled to be on this past Saturday between 8am-8pm. Big Lots Order missing parts!

Order black groovy sectional have not received legs fir couch i have been calling and speaking with representatives who can not provide me with any help. Every time i call they say my contact info in wrong and I provide the correct contact information at every call and still some how they don't have it and are unable to reach me. I request to speak with supervisor and representative continues to tell me no one he transfers me to with assist! Big lots had no problem taking money out my account but can not provide me with what i paid for! They offered a 20% discount in store to get legs from big lots but then proceeded to say they dnt have in stores. So what am I suppose to do? They will not accommodate me for there mistake!

Big Lots Alliance, Ohio managers treat their employees horribly even if they’re disabled

My fiancé is an employee of Big Lots in Alliance and he is on the autistic spectrum and his store manager knows it yet she is constantly condescending to him and blames him for so much stuff even on his days off.. and on multiple occasions he has left work at the end of the day in tears and feeling horrible about himself because of the way she and most of the other managers and bosses talk to him and treat him at work. It is bad enough that even some of his coworkers don’t understand why they treat and talk to him the way they do. And I have seen numerous times where he is on break and they call him back in to do something and then he never gets to finish it.

Big Lots Run fast and far from this company

Do not buy furniture from this company. Terriblr warranty and customer service. My elderly mother bought a power recliner from the Little Rock AR. store and within 30 days it quit working. We called the store and now they told her they wouldnt replace the chair or refund her the money for the chair. she is elderly and lives on limited money so the cost of this chair was significant for her. Really sorry company to deal with.

Big Lots Offset umbrella

We purchased a large umbrella from Big Lots for $183.59 (we were able to use a discount coupon - original price was $239.99). We purchased the umbrella 2/19/22. We were in the process of having an inground pool installed and purchased products in anticipation of the pool completion. The pool was not completed until 7/1/22, which is when we put up the new umbrella. On 1/12/22, the umbrella broke! The part that holds the majority of the weight of this heavy umbrella is made of plastic and it broke right off. I immediately began to search for the company information and finally found it on Big Lots website and reached out to the company - C2C Trade Inc on 1/13/23. They responded right away asking for receipt and they would review our case. I responded with the receipt on 1/15/23. Since then, they have only responded a few times that they would review the case but I can't reach them. The break was within the first year after purchase. It is now beyond a year and Big Logs refuses to assist as well after i reached out to them. I continue to reach out to get assistance from C2C, but they also have ignored me. Big Lots sells this defective product even today and will not provide assistance! We bought over $3000 in products in 2022, but assure you we will not be purchasing from them again! I need BL to assist reaching C2C to get this resolved, or they should back their products and provide a replacement of this product! I even call the number C2C had on their email and it's just a basic answering machine that picks up and never get a response. [protected] and the name Sandy Zhang is on the e-mail.

Desired outcome: Repair or replace the $184 umbrella!

Big Lots price not correct

I purchased some patio furniture at one big lots store but one piece was not there so they sent me to another store 35 miles away who said it was there. iIt was on a 20% off sale. When I drove to that store the piece was in but they refused to honor the 20% off even with my ad for it and the other store had just done it. A difference in $119.99. plus my gas to the store.

The district manager said NO but if I would come back tomorrow I could get it for 20% off. That would have been a 90 mile round trip from my home. Right now I am considering returning all the pieces and never shopping at big lots again. This was horrible treatment from your company. So if the, the district manage wants me to return to the store, I will return but bring all the merchandise with me for a refund and shop elsewhere.

Desired outcome: I want the store to honor their ad and refund me the difference in the cost. $119.99.

Big Lots Survey help

I've tried to take the Big Lots survey. It goes to the last page and says "thanks for taking the survey". hmmmm. I've tried 3 different avenues, with the same result. When I call cust. service they say I have to talk to the survey help line. The survey help line has someone who I can't understand half of what they say, and I "can't talk to anyone else" according to that person (when I asked to speak to someone I could understand). They were only signing me up for something (couldn't even understand what that was, cuz couldn't understand the person)- kept talking over me and asking me to "validate my information". I said multiple times I didn't want to sign up for ANYTHING! just tell me how I can take the survey. I finally had to hang up because she just talked over me incessantly asking for info. and would NOT address the survey issue (they ARE the survey help line, no?) What in the world has happened to Big Lots that they can't help you with a simple question? So sad. Everything is in a circle and no one can help me - they just send me to someone else who won't help

Desired outcome: ability to take the survey (NOW expired since it took them a couple of days to get back to me and just tell me to call the cust. service number which I had already called before and was told to email).

Big Lots Other / service

My vehicle was struck by the cart corral in a wind storm, in Big lot’s parking lot on 11/05/22 have not been able to reach anyone or resolve the issue. Claim number [protected] I went into the store upon returning to my car I saw the corral blow up and over onto my vehicle, I have been trying to resolve this issue every sense it happened and I’m not sure how or if this issue will be resolved, I need someone to call me back asap or tell me the next steps to take so my vehicle can be fixed thank you Edna LewisCook.

Desired outcome: Big Lots pay to have my vehicle fixed asap.

Big Lots Manager at Hoover, AL Store

I asked for some help to look for an item at the store after I had already been to 2 stores looking for an item that says it was in inventory on line and also another store sent me there. I was met with the worse customer service in history their Female Manager on duty was rude, not helpful and argumentative; Customer service is how you keep customers and best believe she needs to be moved from interacting with us. I am a consumer that asked for help; and I got Attitude!

Desired outcome: Talk to the employee about how to treat customers and send her to training! If she is developing her staff she is not a good Manager!

Big Lots Airfryer was displayed at wrong price

Good morning,

My name is Christina Thompson on the 24th of November 2022 around 6pm I had made my way to Big Lots on Sheridan. I had come to big lots for the simple reason that for the past two months I was homeless, with that being said the 23rd of November 2022 I received the keys to my new apartment. Hints the big lots shopping experience. I went to grab a few things for the new place when I spotted the chef man air fryer on display in the middle of the isle. I didn't notice that there were two different sizes of air fryers until I went to check out and was shocked that it was $50.00 while the sign posted $19.99. The cashier called for manager to verify the price "yes the big ones are missed with the little air fryer, but she is not going to get it for $19.99. But do let her know that 11/25/2022 that big air fryer will be on sale tomorrow for $25.00." said the manager to the cashier over the radio. The manager had finally made his way back to the front and that is when I asked well seeing as to the air fryer being mixed with the ones that were on sale. I should have gotten it for that price. The manager said no way and that if I come back tomorrow than I could get for $25.00.

The manager was not very helpful in anyway nor did he apologize for the confusion. I know firsthand and from experience that no matter what store you are shopping in if there is a price tag that reads a lower price than what it had ringed up for that the manager lets it go for the tag price but immediately fix the Remainer so that it does not happen again.

Big Lots Hit my car tire on a cement platform in the parking lot

As I was exiting the parking lot at the Big Lots store in La Canada, CA, my front passenger side tire hit a raised curb very hard. The triangular curb is located next to another similar curb and is not visible, when you're in a car driving. The raised curb does not have any type of pole signage to bring attention to drivers, when making a right. I spoke with Julio (Asst Mgr) immediately after it happened and was told "a lot of customers drive over this". Also, a customer that was walking outside came up to us and stated that he's lived in La Canada for 15 years and this has always been a problem. I've taken pictures of the area and pictures of the tire marks that plainly show other cars that have run this curb over. After I filed an incident report with Julio, I left to go home and my dashboard light notified me that my tire was low. When I stopped at the tire service about 3 blocks away, my tire was completely flat. They couldn't repair it, I needed another tire. In addition, the car needs an alignment.

Desired outcome: I would like to get reimbursed for the repair and for my time from work to take care of this.

Big Lots Model #7402 stallion SKU [protected]

May 2022, I purchase two of these love seat recliners and both of them are missing pieces and falling apart. I paid $1759.97 from BIG lots on W broad St Columbus Ohio. The manager is not being negotiable with swapping out or returning this defective product. It's embarrassing and upsetting because we can't sit in our living room without struggling to either put our feet up or down, the reclining part is bedding, sagging and does not have a support piece to prevent this from happening, this was delivered this way. I have been kind, willing to swap out to a different piece or even something close. We do not have children in our home, we are not home a lot so being rough on the furniture is not even a question. All four reclining sections are missing the support bar underneath.

Desired outcome: Money back, pick up this junk up. I am willing to speak about other solutions

Big Lots Hudson Slate Swival Recliner

I purchased this item on 7/25/21, however it was on back order and it took a little over a month before I received it. When I did receive it the material on one side was defective so I returned it to the store and they replaced it. I have sever back issues and this recliner allows me to experience some relief. How ever about a month ago I noticed that the back of the recliner was leaning to one side, this issue became increasingly worse (I believe the frame work is broken on that side) and at this point I am not able to set straight in the chair causing my back pain to flare up. This was a fantastic chair for the number of months that I could enjoy it. I have talked with the folks at Big-lots but they told me they couldn't do anything about it because it was past there 30 day warranty. I would have thought that a manufactures defect like a broken frame would superseded the warranty. Please advise if there is anything that can be done to replace this chair

Big Lots christmas decor

I am a loyal customer and this is the last straw for me. I feel like I am being scammed. I tried to order an item three times and they cancelled my order even when they said online it was available for shipping and in store. Then they increased the price every time RIGHT after they cancelled and still had it available online. no one could help me resolve this and this absolutely ridiculous!

Big Lots Online ordering

On Saturday 10/29/22 I ordered 2 electric fireplaces (SKU810596599) from the Grove City store and paid for them. It said there were 3 in stock. I made all the arrangements to switch cars and pick them up the following day and deliver one of them and switch cars back. Woke up to find and email stating my order was canceled. Called the 1-800 customer service number to see what happened and they told me it was because they store put one on hold for a customer and their count was wrong. I used a 25% off coupon for my order also, so I not only lost out on the purchase but the coupon also. I am very upset and would like the purchase price honored due to the fact that I paid for it online and the person in the store only put it on hold. That isn't my problem, nor do I care I almost drove clear out of the way for nothing, all because the store made a mistake. Please update more often. Maybe customers would shop more often. This is very upsetting. Now because of the stores mistake I have lost out on a great deal. This is very upsetting. Please make this right. I would like to repurchase these at another store for the same price. Order #[protected]

Big Lots Ashley Juararo Queen bed

Order #ORD2883315614 Case # [protected]

First, I got charged 3 times on 5 separate transactions totaling $960.72 for a $320 bed. I call customer service and they told me I have to call my bank to dispute charges because she couldn't see them on my account. After that aggravation I'm still waiting on my money. Then the next day I open the boxes to put my bed together and I'm missing the hardware. I'm very disappointed in this service. My bed is on the floor waiting on the parts. Hopefully I don't have to take this back because driving a truck with the gas prices is outrageous.

Desired outcome: I want my parts to the bed and my money refunded in my account that is owed to me. What are you going to do to make this right.

Big Lots purchased a tv stand - no instructions and some parts were in ziplock bags

we purchased a tv stand in your winchester va store today. 65 inch real living tv stand with 3 shelves and 3 drawers. the gentleman said he one last new one in the back in stock. we bought it and took it home. we took pictures of what we found. we had parts that were in ziplock bags and NO INSTRUCTIONS. my husband was trying to determine if all parts are there and he was going to put it together. no instructions. called your customer care line to ask how we could get instructions after searching online for them for over an hour. the person did not act like they wanted to help. we asked if they could send us the instructions. he said it would take a couple days before they could research to find any instructions. this is completely not acceptable. if you could send me instructions - we would appreciate it or we will be returning asap. po# [protected]

Big Lots Coupon problem

I received a 20% off coupon online on October , 2022. It was good until October 7. I tried to print it as a friend and I were going to share it and do some shopping. I had difficulty printing it but was finally able to get a coupon printed. We went to the Big Lots in West Mifflin, PA and shopped. When I got to the register the clerk tried to scan the coupon. She discovered that the coupon said that it had expired on Sept. 29. "But I just got it!" I told her. She tried to help me get the site on my phone. I am 68 years old and don't know how to do these things on the phone. I held up the check out line for at least 15 min. trying to get my email, but could not do it. It took me--literally--an hour and a half to figure out how to attach the pictures below.

My friend and I were unable to share the coupon and ended up paying separately and full prince. I spent about $40 and she spent about $75. We should have gotten about $20 off.

I don't know why I had such a problem with the coupon, but I feel that Big Lots should reimburse us the $20. As seniors, that $20 goes a long way to pay for essentials.

Desired outcome: We would like $20 refunded to us.

Big Lots Customer service at the cash register

Big Lots Store #1063 in Leadington, MO 63601

I went in to buy an office chair -- which I did. When I arrived at the checkout the clerk acted like I was more of an inconvenience than a customer. I had my 20% coupon on my phone and when I presented it, she just looked at me like I was asking something unreasonable. We stood there in uncomfortable silence for a beat or two when she said, "the system is down and all coupons must be approved by 'her'." Then she called "her" to come up to grant me 20% off which she did. Whoever her and she is. They never scanned my coupon -- they just let me stand there with my phone out. (An explanation would have been nice. I would have put my phone away.)

Anyway, the man behind me asked if he could have the same discount. Yes, he was a Big Lots customer, but the email associated with his account is on his wife's phone, so no he doesn't have the email. I offered to let him use mine instead. I mean, the system is down -- nothing is being recorded on anyone's account. They are doing the 20% off by hand. What's the big deal? Well evidently, I asked for too much and all of a sudden it is a big deal and impossible to grant a courtesy to a customer under any circumstance. The discount for him would have been less than $5.

So for $5, Big Lots has lost 1 customer for sure -- maybe 2. I wouldn't go back if I was that man. I know I won't be back. Pity, isn't it? Two of your employees having a bad day have to ruin everyone else's day because they can. Pity.

I drove home. When arriving home, I called the store to speak with the Manager. I talked to Pam. Pam tried to blame Terri. Well, these names are useless to me because no one gave me their name in the store EVER! No one said anything about the survey and the $1000. gift card. No one said, "Thank you. Have a nice day." Nothing.

The cashier's name is not on the receipt. So here we are.
