HomeDecorators Home Decorators' Carrington Rugs: Beautiful at First, But Don't Last

So my old lady bought three Carrington rugs from Home Decorators, right? The first two were supposed to be 2'x6' and 9'x5', but they were out of stock or something so we had to wait a while. We called them up a bunch of times and they said they were coming from the manufacturer. Finally they showed up and they looked great, so we decided to get a 9'x12' too. That one came pretty quick and they even threw in a free pad, which was pretty cool.

But now it's been two months and the carpet pile is all messed up. It's like the nap is pulling away or something. We called customer service and it took like 20 minutes to get through to them, but when we finally did they said they could give us a $17.50 credit for each rug or $25.00 off our next purchase. Like, seriously? That's supposed to be customer service? They must be in the wrong business if they think that's gonna make us want to buy from them again.

If you're thinking about getting rugs from Home Decorators, I'd say go somewhere else and get some QUALITY RUGS instead of QUANTITY. No wonder they were on sale. They looked beautiful when we first put them down, but now they look like crap.

HomeDecorators Disappointing Experience with HomeDecorators: Slow Shipping, Costly Returns, and Poor Customer Service

I recently ordered a couple of rugs from HomeDecorators (homedecorators.com) and I have to say, I was a bit disappointed with my experience. The shipping for both rugs was extremely slow, taking weeks to arrive. While I decided to keep one of the rugs, the other one didn't look like the photo in the catalog, so I needed to return it.

Unfortunately, I had to pay for the return shipping, which ended up being a quarter of the price of the rug itself. After two weeks, I checked my Home Depot account to see if the return had been credited, but it hadn't. I decided to call customer service and give them the tracking number, which showed that the manufacturer had received the rug over a week prior.

To my surprise, the customer service representative told me that I should have given them the tracking number when I mailed the rug back, as they don't have any communication with the manufacturer for returns. I couldn't believe it! How can a company not have any communication with their own manufacturer for returns?

After I called, they said they would issue a credit, which would show up on my account in 5 to 7 days. However, a week later, I still hadn't received the credit. Instead, they sent me a voucher for a credit on a future purchase. While I appreciate the gesture, I don't think I'll be buying from HomeDecorators again.

If Home Depot has them as affiliates on their website, customers should be able to return items at the store and be credited immediately. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience and would caution others to think twice before ordering from HomeDecorators.

HomeDecorators Nightmare Experience with HomeDecorators: Damaged Furniture, Poor Customer Service, and Endless Delays

I gotta say, I'm not too happy with HomeDecorators. I ordered this office center back in February, spent a whopping $1900 on it, and what do I get? Two of the five pieces are damaged, thanks to some no-name delivery guy they used. And to make matters worse, it's almost June and I'm still waiting on the last piece. Can you believe that?

Their customer service is a joke. Every time I email them, they just send me some generic response that doesn't even answer my questions. And they won't even give me a tracking number unless I specifically ask for it to be shipped via UPS. What kind of nonsense is that?

I mean, I get that things can get delayed sometimes, but they don't even have an explanation for why it's taking so long. And to add insult to injury, they only gave me $89 for all the trouble I've been through. That's not even enough to cover the tax on my order!

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend ordering from HomeDecorators if you actually want to see your furniture. They're a total nightmare. I even had to file a complaint with the BBB. My next step is to have American Express refund my money for that last piece and fight it out with HomeDecorators.

So yeah, save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

HomeDecorators Disappointing Experience with HomeDecorators: Poor Quality Control and Shipping, Unhelpful Customer Service

We recently made a purchase from HomeDecorators for three vanities, each with cabinets and counter-tops. We were excited to receive our order, but unfortunately, we were disappointed with the quality control and shipping. The cabinets were of okay quality, but the real issue was with the packaging and protection during shipping. Almost every piece we received was damaged or incorrect. The cabinets were packaged in cardboard boxes without any padding or protection, which resulted in smashed corners and broken drawer fronts. We were frustrated with the lack of care taken during the shipping process.

To make matters worse, when we requested replacements for the damaged pieces, we encountered more issues. One of the replacement drawer units we received was a different design from the rest of the vanity, which was confusing and frustrating. We had to explain to the customer service representative that we wanted all the cabinets in a vanity to be the same. It was surprising that they didn't understand this basic requirement. We also received a counter-top with the three faucet holes partially drilled, which was a major inconvenience. We had to wait for four months to receive a replacement, which was unacceptable.

The customer service at HomeDecorators was not helpful or understanding. They seemed to be just going through the motions and didn't care about our concerns. They were slow to respond and didn't take our complaints seriously. We felt like we were just another number to them, and they didn't care about our satisfaction. While they did eventually set up replacements, it was a frustrating and time-consuming process.

Overall, we were disappointed with our experience with HomeDecorators. While the cabinets were of okay quality, the shipping and customer service were lacking. We would not recommend this company to others and suggest looking elsewhere for your home decor needs.

HomeDecorators Home Decorators Shaker Cabinets: A Solid Investment for Your Kitchen Remodel

So, I recently bought my first house and had to do a complete remodel. When it came to the kitchen, I was overwhelmed with all the different options out there. After doing some research, I decided to go with shaker home decorators. I spent about 5 grand on all the cabinets and after reading some reviews, I was worried that I was going to get a pile of junk. However, I must have been lucky because most of the reviews for this company were bad, but my order was complete and well-built! I was terrified of the possibility of getting screwed over.

After waiting for 5 weeks, my new kitchen arrived and everything was fantastic! The only issue was that the sink base cabinet had some cracking in the paint on the edge of the doors, but it wasn't anything to cry about. I'm so grateful that they didn't send me complete junk. I spent the last of my savings on my very first kitchen and everything seems solid. I feel like it will last for years. I'm super glad that I didn't buy the in-stock particle board Hampton junk.

These cabinets are exactly what they say they are - all wood with soft close. If I had received crappy, poorly made cabinets, I would have been messaging them the riot act, but my order was super prime. Home Decorators really came through and sent me exactly what I paid for.

However, it seems like the price has gone up since I made my purchase. I won't be buying another set for my guest house due to the major price increase. I'm so glad that I got in when I did! Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase and would recommend Home Decorators to anyone looking for quality cabinets.

HomeDecorators Disappointing Quality and Poor Customer Service: My Experience with HomeDecorators.com Kitchen Cabinets

I recently purchased some new kitchen cabinets from HomeDecorators.com, and I have to say, I was pretty disappointed with the quality of the cabinets I received. I spent over 5k on 13 cabinets, but when they arrived, I found that 6 of the cabinets were constructed so poorly that they were completely unusable. To make matters worse, they even sent me two cabinets that were the wrong size!

The problems with the cabinets were numerous. The screws on the cabinet doors were stripped out, the drawer faces and drawer guides were misaligned, and some of the drawers wouldn't even shut properly. The lazy susan was missing the interior shelves, and the wastebasket cabinet wouldn't shut completely. To top it all off, there were huge gouges in the cabinet face from where the hardware hit it.

One of the cabinets was so badly built that it looked like a child had glued it together. Another cabinet was not even square, and it was so poorly constructed that I had to spend several days doing my own woodwork just to make it usable. I'm a woodworker myself, so I was able to fix some of the issues, but if I didn't have that knowledge, these cabinets would have been completely unusable.

I contacted Home Depot, where I had purchased the cabinets, but they had no way to break down the order to get the bad cabinets replaced. It took a week for someone from HomeDecorators.com to figure out what was going on, and even then, they only sent me two replacement cabinets, along with some hardware, cupboard doors, a replacement drawer (which was completely cracked and damaged), and some new shelves.

After a few days of doing my own woodwork to fix their mistakes, I was finally able to use most of the cabinets. However, I'm still pretty unhappy with the whole experience, and I'm actually considering filing a lawsuit against Home Depot/HomeDecorators.com to get my money back.

Overall, I would not recommend HomeDecorators.com to anyone looking for high-quality kitchen cabinets. These cabinets were not professionally made in any way, and the customer service was pretty poor as well.

HomeDecorators Poor Customer Support from Home Decorators Collection for Hall Tree Purchase

I recently bought a hall tree from Home Decorators Collection, and I must say, I was not impressed with their customer support. The furniture itself looked great, but unfortunately, one of the pieces was mis-drilled, which meant I had to contact customer support to request a replacement. However, there was no customer support number provided with the furniture, so I had to go to the website and look it up myself.

The first time I called the number on Home Depot's website for HDC, I was directed to an answering machine that said they would call back within 2 hours. However, I never received a call back, so I called the same number again the next day, only to find that it had been disconnected. I was frustrated and confused, but I didn't give up. I went back to the internet and searched for a different customer support number.

Finally, after about an hour of waiting on hold, I got through to a call center in India. Unfortunately, the person who answered the phone did not speak English well, which made it difficult to communicate. I gave them the model number off of the box, but they were unable to find the piece in their catalog. It took another half hour and giving them every number on the box before they were finally able to find the order and order the part that I needed replaced.

They told me that the part should arrive by the end of the week, but when Friday rolled around, no part arrived. Instead, I received a phone call saying that it would actually take 4-6 weeks for the part to arrive, and asking if I still wanted it. Unfortunately, they didn't leave a number to call back and confirm, or any way to avoid another 30 minutes on hold trying to talk to someone. They also said that they had sent an email that I could respond to, but that never arrived (unsurprisingly, they wrote it down incorrectly).

As of now, I still haven't received the replacement piece yet. While the furniture looks nice, the quality and customer support from the company is awful. I would not recommend purchasing anything from this company.

HomeDecorators Terrible Customer Service Experience at HomeDecorators - Avoid at All Costs!

The customer service at HomeDecorators is just plain awful, both online and in-store. I had a terrible experience trying to exchange a California King size headboard for a King size that I had ordered online. At first, I was told that I couldn't exchange it because it was "custom made", even though I had only picked a standard size, style, and color. After I pointed out that their website didn't say anything about headboards being custom made, they finally agreed to let me exchange it at the Lake Zurich store.

But when I got to the store, things only got worse. The store clerk told me that they couldn't exchange it, but they could process it as a return and order me the King size. So I agreed to that, but then they ended up processing the return as an exchange AND ordering a new one, so I ended up with two headboards! I tried to explain the situation to online customer service, but they refused to return the first one.

I even talked to the Lake Zurich store manager, but she lied to me and said that they had taken care of it, when in reality I kept getting emails saying that two headboards were being shipped to me. When I confronted her again, she said that the return couldn't be done and that I needed to deal with online customer service because it was their mistake.

To make matters worse, HomeDecorators also posted an unauthorized charge to my credit card that they said was related to the exchange. I never signed anything or authorized anything, and they didn't even contact me about it - it just showed up on my credit card statement. It took multiple emails to online customer service to get that charge removed.

Overall, I would not recommend HomeDecorators to anyone. Their customer service is terrible, and they don't seem to care about their customers at all. Save yourself the hassle and shop somewhere else.

HomeDecorators Positive Experience with Home Decorators RTA Kitchen Cabinets

I recently purchased RTA kitchen cabinets from Home Decorators for a kitchen renovation project. I was initially hesitant to make the purchase due to some negative reviews I had read about the company, but the cabinets I wanted were available at a great price, so I decided to take a chance.

I called their customer service number and was pleasantly surprised when my call was answered quickly. The representative I spoke with was friendly and helpful, taking the time to answer all of my questions and address any concerns I had. After our conversation, I felt confident in placing my order.

The cabinets arrived within the promised timeframe of 10 days, and I was given 72 hours to inspect the items for any damage. Due to the holiday season, I requested an extension on this timeframe, which was granted without any issue. After thoroughly inspecting all 18 cabinets, 7 finish panels, toe kicks, and fillers, I did find some damage to several pieces.

I contacted Home Decorators and was asked to send pictures of the damage, which I did. To my surprise, they not only replaced the damaged pieces but also replaced entire cabinets and even provided replacement doors for a cabinet we had to modify for an apron sink. The communication throughout the process was prompt and courteous, and I received the replacement pieces in a very short amount of time.

My husband and I assembled all of the cabinets, and the process was straightforward and easy. The quality of the cabinets exceeded my expectations, especially considering the price and the excellent customer service I received. Despite some negative reviews I had read, my experience with Home Decorators was entirely positive, and I would not hesitate to do business with them again in the future.

HomeDecorators Disappointing Customer Service Experience with HomeDecorators: Handles Missing from Custom Cabinets Order

I recently made a purchase from HomeDecorators for fully assembled custom cabinets. The design process was a breeze and the design representative was very pleasant. However, I encountered an issue with my order and was disappointed with the lack of assistance I received from their customer service team.

Upon receiving my order, I noticed that the handles for the drawers were not included and there were no predrilled holes for them either. I reached out to customer service to request the handles be sent to me, but was informed that they do not assemble the handles because they do not know where the customer wants them. This was frustrating because my design clearly indicated the handle placement and it was included in the price.

I was left with the option of paying someone to install the handles for me or buying the tools to do it myself, which was not something I had planned for. When I contacted customer service for assistance, they were unhelpful and dismissive of my concerns. They refused to offer a refund or make any price adjustments, even though the handles were clearly included in the design and invoice.

The lead customer service representative, Chelsea, was particularly unprofessional and rude. She talked over me and refused to let me speak, making the situation worse. When I requested to speak to someone else about her behavior, she refused. I was extremely disappointed with the lack of care and assistance I received from HomeDecorators.

I eventually contacted Home Depot directly to complain and was pleasantly surprised by their understanding and helpful customer service representatives. They even went out of their way to contact the vendor and express their dissatisfaction with Chelsea's behavior. Home Depot credited me back 10% of my purchase price, which was a small consolation for the terrible experience I had with HomeDecorators.

Overall, I would not recommend HomeDecorators to anyone and I hope that Home Depot cuts ties with this company. The lack of care and assistance from their customer service team, particularly Chelsea, was unacceptable. I hope that they take steps to improve their customer service and provide better assistance to their customers in the future.

HomeDecorators Disappointing Experience with HomeDecorators: Poor Quality and Shipping Issues

I gotta tell ya, I had a pretty good experience with HomeDecorators when I ordered some semi-custom cabinets for my kitchen about a year ago. I only ordered the top cabinets, but they came in good condition and I was happy with the quality.

But then, just recently, I decided to order the bottom cabinets to complete my kitchen renovation. And let me tell you, it was a whole different story. They were supposed to ship within a week, but they ended up being over a week late. And when they finally did arrive, they were in pretty rough shape. I don't know if they got damaged during shipping or what, but the thin cardboard protection they used didn't do much to keep them safe.

To make matters worse, the cabinets were already coming apart by the time I got them. I reached out to HomeDecorators to let them know what was going on, and they did send me replacements. But guess what? Same thing happened. The back of the cabinet was coming off, and it was clear that their workmanship had really gone downhill.

Honestly, I'm just so over this whole thing that I'm keeping the damaged cabinet this time around. I just want to be done with it. But I definitely wouldn't recommend buying anything from this company based on my recent experience.

HomeDecorators Disappointing Customer Service Experience with HomeDecorators

I recently had an experience with HomeDecorators that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. Living in a rural area, I don't have easy access to a Home Depot store, so I decided to order two bookcases from HomeDecorators.com and have them shipped to a store that was two hours away. Unfortunately, a large forest fire broke out between us, making it impossible for me to pick up the bookcases from that store.

I called Home Depot to see if I could redirect the shipment to a store that was closer to me, but after being on hold for 25 minutes, my call was dropped. When I called back, I was told that I could only cancel the order after it had shipped, even though the bookcases were still in the warehouse and hadn't been shipped yet. I was also told that I would have to call back on Tuesday to see if the cancellation had gone through.

I have to say, I was pretty frustrated with the whole situation. It seemed like HomeDecorators was making it unnecessarily difficult for me to get my order, and the customer service representatives I spoke to didn't seem to be very helpful. I've ordered from HomeDecorators in the past and have been happy with my purchases, but this experience has definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.

Overall, I think HomeDecorators needs to work on their customer service and make it easier for customers to make changes to their orders. While I appreciate that they were willing to cancel my order, the fact that I had to wait several days to find out if the cancellation had gone through was frustrating. I hope that in the future, HomeDecorators will be more responsive to their customers' needs and make it easier for us to get the products we want.

HomeDecorators Horrible Quality and Customer Service: My HomeDecorators Cabinet Nightmare

So, I've been waiting for my cabinets from HomeDecorators for 3 months and finally got them. But, guess what? Out of 15 cabinets, 10 were damaged or built wrong. The quality was terrible and the craftsmanship was pathetic. I was so disappointed. And, to make matters worse, the customer service was a joke. I talked to a lady named Chavel who was so rude and ignorant. She shouldn't be in customer service at all. I explained all the problems and even sent over 25 pictures, but all she said was that they would try to replace the items. But, after 3 days, I got an email saying that my order was delayed again. I called customer service and it was atrocious, just like I expected. The lady on the phone didn't care about me or making things right. She claimed to be the manager, but all she did was give me attitude and call me a liar. I mean, seriously? I waited for over 3 months and all I got was thousands of dollars worth of garbage. It's really frustrating and disappointing.

HomeDecorators HomeDecorators.com: The Home Decor Destination That's Taking Over Everything

that's taking over everything.

I was finally able to find homedecorators.com after some digging and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. The website is easy to navigate and has a wide variety of home decor items to choose from. I was able to find everything I needed to spruce up my living room, from throw pillows to curtains to a new area rug.

The prices were reasonable and the quality of the products was impressive. I was a bit hesitant to order online, but the checkout process was smooth and I received my items in a timely manner.

One thing I did notice was that some of the product descriptions were a bit lacking. I had to do some additional research to make sure I was getting the right size and color for my items.

Overall, I would definitely recommend homedecorators.com for anyone looking to update their home decor. Don't let the Home Depot takeover scare you away, this website is still alive and well.

HomeDecorators Mixed Experience with HomeDecorators and Home Depot Cabinet Installation

I gotta say, I had a pretty good experience with the folks over at HomeDecorators. The Home Depot people were super helpful, but I gotta say, the cabinet MFG left a lot to be desired. When my cabinets finally arrived, I was pretty disappointed to find that several pieces were damaged. And get this - it wasn't even because of shipping! It looked like they were packaged that way from the get-go. Can you believe it?

Anyway, it's been four whole months since my kitchen remodel started, and I'm still waiting on those damaged pieces to be shipped. The installer, Chris, was a real champ though. He did a great job with the install and inspection, and he works for Home Depot, not the cabinet company. I'm hoping to have those pieces by early July, according to HomeDecorators.

I've talked to the HomeDecorators folks a few times, and I gotta say, they weren't all that helpful or accommodating. It's like I'm just another customer to them, you know? They never even apologized for sending me damaged cabinets. And to top it all off, I had to stay in Florida much longer than I had planned just to accommodate their schedule and policies. But hey, what can you do?

HomeDecorators Disappointing Experience with HomeDecorators: Missing Items and Endless Hassle

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with HomeDecorators. I ordered a bedroom set back in May, and let me tell you, it's been a real hassle. They charged me for everything up front, but I'm still missing three items! Can you believe it? I haven't even received the footboard storage part of our bed, the chest, or the mirror. Every time we call, they tell us that "the mirror will ship Friday," but guess what? It's not even in stock! And get this - the bed is in stock, but they won't send us the missing part because they need to "do their investigation." What kind of investigation takes two months?

They claimed to have resolved the issue with the chest, but then they took it off my Visa and charged me again for $36.48. What the heck? The chest is supposed to arrive on July 9th, but honestly, I'm not holding my breath. It's been almost two months of my husband and I talking to the shipping company and the company itself, and nothing is resolved.

To make matters worse, we're sleeping with our mattress on the floor! It's disgusting. And don't even get me started on the $500 shipping charge. I mean, come on.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend HomeDecorators to anyone. It's been a real headache dealing with them, and I'm honestly not sure if I'll ever receive the missing items. Save yourself the trouble and shop somewhere else.

HomeDecorators Warning: HomeDecorators.com Delayed My Order for 2 Months and Counting

I recently made a purchase on HomeDecorators (homedecorators.com) for a vanity that cost me over $1000. I was excited to receive it and start my bathroom remodel project. However, it's been over two months since I placed my order and I still haven't received my vanity. To make matters worse, I paid over $300 for delivery and shipping.

This delay has caused a lot of frustration and inconvenience for me. My bathroom remodel has been put on hold and the bathroom is unusable. I have reached out to Home Decorators Collection and their delivery service, but they have been of no help. They simply stated that the item was shipped and could be "somewhere in a warehouse... possibly Home Depot". This is absolutely crazy and unacceptable.

I have purchased other items like rugs from HomeDecorators without any issues, but this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. I strongly advise against purchasing items that you actually need for a time-sensitive project from HomeDecorators.com. It's just not worth the risk.

I understand that mistakes happen, but this delay has caused a lot of stress and inconvenience for me. All I want for Christmas is my bathroom remodel to be complete, but it looks like that won't be happening anytime soon.

HomeDecorators Home Decorator's Collection: A Nightmare Experience - Poor Quality and Terrible Customer Service

I gotta tell ya, if you're thinking about buying something from Home Decorator's Collection, you better think twice! I made the mistake of dropping over $4000 on some new kitchen cabinets for my daughter's home remodel and let me tell you, it was a total disaster. Almost every cabinet came damaged or poorly made. I mean, what a nightmare!

So, I did what any reasonable person would do and tried to get in touch with their "customer service" (if you can even call it that). Let me tell you, it was like trying to talk to a bunch of silly, adolescent school girls. I wrote them a bunch of emails and had several phone conversations over the course of two months, but it was all for nothing. They have this ridiculous policy of no refunds and no monetary compensation, so all they did was send me replacement cabinets that were even worse than the ones before!

I mean, come on, I chose this company because they claimed to manufacture cabinets with higher quality features, but now we have a house full of garbage cabinets. If you're looking for poor quality, stress, and irritation, then by all means, go ahead and buy from Home Decorator's Collection. But if you're looking for something that's actually worth your hard-earned money, then steer clear of these guys. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

HomeDecorators HomeDecorators Review: Terrible Experience, Never Received My Orders

I done ordered from HomeDecorators twice and both times I ain't never got my stuff. First time, I ordered a rug and they said it was back ordered. I waited and waited for 3 whole months and still ain't got no rug. I got tired of waiting and cancelled the order. But then, I thought maybe I was being too harsh and decided to give them another chance. They said they had the chair cushions I wanted in stock, so I ordered them. But guess what? I waited for 2 months and still ain't got no cushions. I called them up and they said they cancelled the order because they weren't sure they had the item. What kind of nonsense is that? I asked them to reinstate the order, but they said they couldn't do that. They told me to place a new order for the cushions. Are you kidding me? I ain't falling for that trick again. Don't waste your time with this company, they're a bunch of crooks.

HomeDecorators Disappointing Quality: HomeDecorators.com Multi Drawer Dresser Review

I recently bought a multi drawer dresser from homedecorators.com for around $500. I found a coupon on their website after flipping through their catalog that was sent to my house. When it arrived, I was excited to see it in person, but I quickly realized that I had made a mistake. The wood was a cheap softwood, and the drawers opened and closed on wooden slots with no drawer glides. The joints were cheap butt joints, and the drawer faces almost all broke off from operating the drawers occasionally. I was so disappointed with the quality of the product that I ended up calling customer service. They were kind enough to send me new drawer fronts, which I appreciated, but those all broke in less than a year. I didn't roughhouse with the dresser, nor did I have any kids playing with it. I receive 20% off coupons all the time to return as a customer, but I feel so ripped off by the poor quality of my purchase that I don't think I'll ever test those waters again. The dresser didn't last more than two years, which is completely unacceptable. Even Ikea throwaway furniture has lasted longer than this dresser did. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my purchase, and I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone looking for quality furniture.
