1. It is submitted that ECHS polyclinic, Ch Sambhajinagar is using BSNL telephone connection bearing No [protected] along with internet services since 2004. An amount Rs. 16,050/- towards internet charges for the period 01 May 2026 to 30 Apr 2027 has already been remitted in advance on 19 May 2026 against your invoice No BSNL/ADG/PROV BILL/169 dated 04 May 2026 vide my cheque No 892417 dt 19 May 2026.
2. Despite of full advance payment having been made, the internet connection is being repeatedly disconnected to the erroneous grounds of nonpayment of dues.
3. It is a matter of serious concern that such unwarranted and arbitrary disconnection are severely disrupting the function of this polyclinic, which caters to approximately 400 Out Patient daily, including Senior Ex-Servicemen, Emergency patients, Oncology Patients and other critically ill beneficiaries coming from all the way from Marathwada, Vidarbha & Khandesh regions. The recurring interruption of the internet services adversely affecting patient registration, online consultation, medicine issue, referrals, claims and other essential healthcare services, thereby compromising patient care, causing avoidable hardship to beneficiaries and threat to death of seriously ill patients. Also it has resulted in the complaint & misbehavior of beneficiaries with the polyclinic staff.
4. It is further regretted that despite repeated telephonic complaints and my personal visit with your officials, no satisfactory explanation or corrective action has been forthcoming.
5. Such persistent administrative negligence and failure to update your billing records, despite receipt of payment, reflect a serious lapse in service delivery and is wholly unacceptable for an essential public utility provider.
6. In view of the foregoing, you are called upon to immediately reconcile your billing records. Rectify the incorrect outstanding status in your system and ensure uninterrupted restoration and continuation of internet services to this polyclinic without any further delay.
7. Any recurrence of such unjustified disconnection shall be viewed seriously, and this office shall be constrained to seek appropriate legal remedies, including initiation of proceedings before the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission and reporting the matter to the competent regulatory and administrative authorities, entirely at your risk and to costs and consequences.
8. This matter deserves top priority considering the critical nature of healthcare services being provided to aged Ex-Servicemen and their dependents. An immediate compliance report and confirmation of restoration of uninterrupted inter connectivity are requested.
