Best Buy review: Rude salesman who knew nothing about in clothes washer and dryers

My husband and I went to Best Buy on Tunnel Road in Asheville, NC on June 15, 2021 to research and purchase a clothes washer and dryer. We were immediately approached by an assistant manager who sent over a young sales associate who not only knew nothing about the appliances we wanted to research but was extremely rude and arrogant, saying "What more do you need to know than the washer is a top loader or a front loader?" I asked for a salesperson who could provide some information and who wasn't rude and was told by the assistant manger that the wait would be at least 30 minutes as that person was busy doing something else. We left Best Buy, went to Lowes and purchased a washer and dryer. The salesperson at Lowes knew everything about their product lines and was extremely pleasant and helpful. It is clear that Best Buy doesn't care about their customers or making a sale. We won't be back to Best Buy for anything. The merchandise they carry is readily available via other venues at comparable prices.
