Best Buy technical support

Brought computer for normal assistance, clean up. Had to make a second visit because lost all my files and my access to outlook and Microsoft office. Called on phone for assistance, limited assistance. Told to go back a third time to store. The phone continually rings and rings. Appointment availability is extremely limited. I think I will contact NYS Attorney General for assistance because we brought product at Best Buy and have contract. More problems because cannot get into my documents, etc. Thank you.

Best Buy customer service

I purchased a laptop at Best Buy as a Christmas present. We were out of town when the gift was opened, it does not work. I went to the store and asked for a refund or exchange. I was told that I kissed the refund date by 2 days and that I had to deal with Dell about any problems I've had.
No one looked at the product, tried to correct an issue or even ask if they could do anything else to help.
The manager came over and was just as rude, insolent, and offensive. I told the computer never worked and we were out of town, I was told too bad, it was my problem.
I believe Best Buy Oro Valley should be ousted from our list of reputable businesses. They do not stand behind the products they sell and do not offer any assistance for customers when issues can be resolved.
Terrible CS and terrible management!

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM BEST BUY. This company does not stand behind anything they sell. I bought a printer that lasted less than a month before it stopped printing. I took it back to Bad Buy and they said "to bad you should have bought the warranty". Really? The counter person was extremely rude and there was hardly anybody in the store (hmm I wonder why). They then said I have to get a hold of the factory and try to get it taken care of. Rip off company I am surprised they are still in business.

Best Buy customer service

I purchased a vacuum cleaner on sale. It was to be delivered on January 14th. It was somehow damaged during delivery with UPS. I called customer service to see when I would be receiving a new one. They informed me that since UPS is returning it I need to wait until I receive a refund and then call them back. The vacuum is now $130 more. She said they might be able to give me the sale price but again advised me we need to wait until I receive my refund before we can do anything. Unbelievable!

Best Buy microwave on backlog but was never told until day of installation 30 days later

December 2 2019, I purchased a microwave from Best Buy in Slidell LA. Installation was set for Jan 6, 2020. On day of installation the contractor informed me BB did not provide him with my microwave.
After several hrs on the phone, I was told the microwave was on backlog. However it wasn't on backlog when I purchased it in December.
The store never contacted me to imform me of anything, the backlog or my options. I was put on hold several times for at lease 30 minutes at a time. I called BB customer serervcie 1 800 number and found out the item won't be in until January 25, 2020. The store has yet to contact me with any informatio. I took off from work just to go back and forward with BB.
BB in Slidell LA has the worst customer service I have ever experience, no professionalism, no respect for customers time and the worst regards of customers feelings. I m going to the store January 7, 2020 and cancel the order and try another location. I am going to write to the corporate office and every where I can about the poor customer service at that location.

Best Buy geek squad protection plan

Purchased Samsung flat screen in 2014 with an extended 5 year $350.00. Best Buy gladly excepted my money but now that I need service, they are stringing me along and offering NO solution!
TV failed 12/8/19 called Geek Squad and they sent parts and set up service call. Service came and failed to repair TV, ordered more parts and failed again, ordered more parts and yes failed again.
We are now 4 weeks in and 3 service calls later and TV still not working, they claim they have 30 days from service call to fix TV….30 day restarts every service call!
Do your self and family a favor and buy your TV's at the "clubs" they offer 5 years of warranty for free!
I do not know if their warranties are any better but it's free and can't be any worse then Best Buy!

Best Buy e-gift card

I purchased a Samsung galaxy S7 in 2015 and got a 200$ e-gift card for the purchase of the phone I used the e-gift card to pay the taxes but there was a remaining balance of 147$ that was never used and I forgot about it since I was hospitalized and then had to go to a in house nursing facility for 6 months and I was cleaning out some stuff and came across the bag where I purchased the phone and the receipt and the paper with the e-gift card info and I still have the receipt of the amount that should still be on the e-gift card. Yet when I call to check the balance it says it is 0$ the card number is [protected] and the pin# 3183 please get back to me ASAP on this issue as this is very disappointing.

Best Buy customers service

I had a nightmare customer service experience today at a Best Buy store in the Bronx Terminal Mall, New York. I went to do a simple return at this branch and encountered an agent at customer service who was outright mean in attitude in both verbal and non-verbal communication. My nightmare continued when i tried to get help on the phone with each agent interested in telling what they can not do after holding on for an hour. At the end after almost two waited hours i did not return my item for credit. I am a so-called ELITE card member. In short, I will close my Elite membership and stop shopping at Best Buy. Needless to say I will share my terrible experience with friends and family. I refused to spend my money at a place insensitive to customer experience period.

Best Buy august lock

I received a gift from a elderly family member. Did not save receipts bought it, I don't know when it was a gift. He says he paid cash. I got on a chat with one of your team members and he assured me after I made very clear I Do NOT have receipt and I was going to have to take off time to come in. He assured me they would exchange. Got there and No they wouldn't. I was on the phone with your customer service and they said they could t so anything.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever.

Best Buy lack of service/issue with air conditioner

Dear Sir or Madam

I hope you are well. I am extremely unhappy with Best Buy, in particular the staff members Orit, Alannis, Tenzin at 2400 Yonge Street as well as the online call centers.

I attempted to purchase an airconditioner about a month ago. The sale did not go through initially. It took several visits to the unhelpful store as well as several calls to the call center to finally get the order delivered.

One of the items ordered was an airconditioner. Upon receiving and opening up the airconditioner, I found that it needed to be installed by an HVAC contractor and that several other attachments not included would need to be purchased. This was not stated under the description of the item.

I contacted the supplier requesting a refund and was advised to post the item to Montreal and that a 15% fee would be levied. This is unacceptable as I simply wish to return the item to the nearest Best Buy store. Please tell me that this is not how businesses are allowed to do business in Canada.

Best Buy customer service in the store

i went in this location on 11/30/2019 to buy my daughter and Apple watch as i walked thru the area where the apple watches are 5 of your customer service people walked past me and never asked if i needed any help finding anything then i went to the guy at the front door in the yellow shirt and he didn't help me either or even say he was sorry. Your store has horrible customer service and i will never shop at one of your stores again and i have told everyone i know i was treated at your store. You should know how ever finally a girl named Destinee finally asked me if i needed help and ordered the apple watch for me i asked if the price could be priced matched to walmart who was selling the same watch for 129.00 but was sold out and she asked this guy who was standing in front of the counter and advised no you would not be price matching. So again i will not shop at your store every again and will make sure to continue to let everyone i know how i treated at your store.

Best Buy marvel - avengers legends series - inc figure -

I brought this thinking I will getting all seven of these characters but instead I got one which is not one of the characters. Call Customer Service and was told that down below in the featurse section it stated that I will get just one and it will pick off random. I' am very frustrated, I thought my Christmas shopping was over with and top it off I was send woman action figure. I have a grandson I wouln't want to give him this.

Best Buy misled and no assistance

In short (as I have spent way too much time):

Best Buy seems to have stacked the deck in their policies to maximize purchases and then mislead and not help.

I purchased a soundbar online BECAUSE it was guaranteed before Christmas. Best Buy says you can cancel within 30 minutes only. That is ok because it was guaranteed before Christmas. Hours later I received an email saying it may not arrive until January. I immediately made attempts to cancel my order and found it to be totally frustrating. I spoke to "Christine" from the Philippines (where I was sent when I called). Though she claimed to have authority to cancel the order she would not because she claimed it would get there before Christmas. He general unhelpfulness left me unconvinced. So all of the responsibility is put in my lap to return the items when it arrives, wait and track its removal from my credit card, all of this AFTER they misled me about their guaranteed delivery date.

Best Buy geek squad samer yaida

Dear Honor Manager, Samer Yaida inspected the laptop, and provided the recommendation. Please check the attached photo. If I repair the trackpad, it is going to take 3 weeks, to cost $199 plus tax. Possible no cover by the warranty. However, after I consulted with other computer repair store technicians. I was told. I do not need to spend so much money and time to repair the left side of track pad. I may purchase a wireless mice. It is better than trackpad even when trackpad is good. This afternoon, I went to the store to double check this mice solution. In BESTBUY, both a sales in the logitech section and a sir in Geek Squad did comfirmed this mice solution.
Then I purchased the wireless mice M310. After testing, the laptop issue is solved perfectly. My money and time are saved by a honest suggestion.
Now I feel so bad when I think about Samer Yaida's suggestion. No any concern about client's benefit. Try to induce client to the harder and higher cost situation. It is very bad manner. I do appreciate anther two sales. They are honest and helpful to clients. Regards

Best Buy I got harassed but the manager

Hello, I was trying to buy a tv and I just simply asked if they would take something off cause the box was damaged, most places will even Walmart! gives a little discount for damaged goods. The manager named Chase came over and he said that he wouldn't do anything for me because I was gona have it shipped and I said fine what if I take it right now, then he started getting mad and really aggressive I don't know if he has anger problems but the totally flipped out on me told me to [censored] off! and said he doesn't care if I buy it or not he can have all those TVs sold before I even get the chance to buy it infront of my wife and made my child cry. 2 other employees the one even left and said I'm sorry as he was going off and the other employe just looked down and away i would like to talk to someone to see if there's anything we can do atleast on the tv or something he should be fired I am willing to go public this it is not right to be treated this way you can contact me at([protected] or Robby.[protected]@aol.com

Best Buy sucks

They delivered the wrong TV, so I asked for a correct one. Then, I called to request cancellation of the replacement because I want to go to the store and choose one myself. Not only they said that past half an hour they could not cancel the item, but when I asked to talk to a Supervisor, they hung up on me.
I called three more times and first the call got lost, the second time, the guy hung up on me.
Then a woman with a Chinese accent put me on hold for the manager who never came and hung up on me after 30 minutes.
The Customer Service BestBuys has is the worst. Please keep in mind when trying to buy from Best Buys.

Best Buy cyber monday cell phone.

I found a galaxy s10, 5g, 125gb, montly payments of $33.99 carefuly checked my entry, clicked purchase, cc, shiping address, placed order, in a second I saw something was not correct.
My order show galaxy 10, 525 gb with payment of $55.99? Immediately I called customer service to cancel, person I spoke with confirmed it was done, she said, you will receive email with in 48 hours?
Receive I did - your order is confirmed, you have to sign up on arrival?
My cc was chrged $78 for tax, I have phone I do not want, not what I thought I was ordering.

Best Buy samsung flex washer and dryer third party installation at best buy stinks.

After one disappointment after another from Best Buy, here's our review. As you read this, bear in mind we've been purchasing from Best Buy for personal and business for over 20 years. Never really impressed, but now after several consecutive run-ins, after spending thousands of dollars on computers, laptops, 4K 80 inch tv(s), 60 inch tv (s), and the latest $3800 Samsung washer and dryer it is time to get the word out! They just don't care anymore and lack common customer service. From the in-store employees who don't care, to the supervisors who have zero authority, to the lack of ability to correct and/or resolve an issue due to a failure on Best Buy's behalf, and then the third-party installers who lack skills, and or concern to complete services. The web site is a joke, the options you need to complete installation accurately, and completely are not available. My situation is that the installer said we need a 6 ft washer hose, and Best Buy only sells 4 ft washer hose kits, and so therefore they just can't install the new washer and dryer -- AND so they left! HMMM, nobody at Best Budy from the store, to customer service was able to do the right thing. After all I had a window for installation arrival between noon and 6 pm, it was now only 4:00 at the time of conflict, and yet nobody was available to complete this installation. By the way, the installer didn't even bring the washer in, and/or open the box to see where the water hose would connect - SO HOW DID HE KNOW a 4 FT wouldn't work - when I have a 4 FT with my current system, and my water is plumbed right next to the washer - My husband and I, our businesses, we just won't spend our money with a company that doesn't have quality control measures in place, lacks accountability, and doesn't provide supervisors, and stores with the authority to correct mistakes. I purchased a 3 pack set of batteries today and the check-out person made a cryptic comment about me being a "big spender". I do not like being insulted at a check - out desk by anyone. A customer is a customer and should be treated with respect.

Best Buy online order unconfirmed

I placed an online order for a few items yesterday (29 November 2019). I did not get the email confirming delivery. I happened to go into a Best Buy store near Yonge and Eglinton and queried the order. After looking for the order for a long time, the lady (Orit) became rather rude based on some Best Buy-Market Place link that I did not understand as I ordered from Best Buy. Best Buy, please educate your staff. At this point I have no idea if I can expect my online order to be delivered.
