It has been over six months since my discovery of being overcharged by AT&T for the internet and mobile services for over a year. Since March of 2026 I have unsuccessfully tried to fix this billing problem by calling AT&T help lines and visiting AT&T stores for solutions. On every occasion I spent hours on the phone and in corporate AT&T stores every time I was promised that the next billing cycle the charges would reflect the corrected amounts.
After filing a complaint with BBB I finally received a call from the office of the President Mr. Charles Oviedo who adjusted the amount for the month of June 2026 with $30.00 credits and told me that my internet cost will be permanently $30.00 per month from that point on.
The following statement came in with the same problem of $75.23 charges for the internet. My total bill went up higher from bad to worse, $124.32 to $134.04, both higher than a senior citizen account with direct bank auto pays (the current Wireless bill is $58.81, down from $64.13).
After receiving the wrong bill again, I have left four voicemails (one voicemail to colleagues during his absence) and sent four emails which were left without any response since July 16, I have stopped the auto pay and my account currently is past due. I was advised to file a lawsuit with FCC as well as other options.
