My husband (Travis) had a schedualed appointment for 2 root canals. He was at Aspen for 2 1/2 hrs with an appliance in his mouth to hold it open the entire time! The dentist left Travis several times to visit multiple patients. When Travis was left unattended the saliva would build up and need to be suctioned out, when an assistant finally came around and figured out Travis's sign language, she handed him the suction tube to do it himself. When Travis was done, 2 1/2 hrs later, they only completed ONE of the root canals! They charged the account for TWO root canals.
They got Travis approved for $1000 line of credit through a Care Credit account and they Maxed it out from the beginning with all the procedures they schedualed for him an told us that we needed to bring in hundreds of more $$$'s at the next appointment. We didn't because it din't sound right to us. We decided to cancel all appointments with Aspen and have them credit our Credit Care account back, we also have received the run around with the office staff needing to "contact headquarters". Yes, they were very quick to get our money, and preform poor service. This is a fast food dental office that treated us like a stray dog! All we want is our Money credited back to our account!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Once Aspen gets your money it's damned near impossible to get it back. That of course is on purpose.
Please stay away. I worked for Aspen and I know the horrible service and dentistry that goes on first hand.
this is why they are being investigated for fraud by an unnamed insurnace company
I hope the investigation goes like it should. I'm sure Aspen will try to find out what it takes to make them happy. It took $175, 000 to settle with Pennsylvania.
