Aspen Dental - Dentures

About 2 yrs. ago my wife and I went to aspen to talk about getting dentures. We ended up spending roughly$7,500.00 for the best package we could get. Pulled all her teeth made dentures that have NEVER fit right. Repeat return visits, with no resolve.

I Complained on Yelp and got a response, stop back in to see what could be done here.

Long story short after a long wait in the lobby. She's told her bone structure had shrunk and she would need implants to hold the bottom dentures in place?

But wait! They think her bone structure will allow this and recommended a Specialist?$.

We weren't here for an UPSELL! and we don't have the money to do this.

Aspen should make new impressions from her current jaw structure to make these fit right.

What would this actually cost you? a few hundred dollars to make a HAPPY CUSTOMER?. or just leave her unhappy and hope we go away?

She's using so much glue due to this issue that were worried about this affecting her health in the future.

Desired outcome: New Dentures!

I'm Janet Stotts. I am fully disabled on medicaid. I called aspen dental and the schedulers told me that aspen dental in Longview Washington off of Ocean Beach hwy would get me in and wave the fees because they don't take my insurance, and would give me my referral to go to oral surgeon that laws my insurance.I made the appointment when they rang me through to the receptionist at the aspen dental office in Longview Washington. The receptionist when I scheduled the appointment agreed that they can give me my referral to go where my medicaid is accepted. I went to the appointment and the dentist snd his assistant both told me that I can have the line there and that they would work with my insurance just not on the 1st exam. After the exam I was in the with a woman employee with long dark hair glasses and quite Abita bigger than myself. The told me thatI misunderstood the dentist and the assistant. And she said the schedulers and there receptionist told me wrong don't know what there talking about. And that only 5 percent of the company. And she was give me 2 different payment plans depending on wich dental service I chose with them. Then when I told her that it wasn't that I didn't want to pay it's because I couldn't pay. As I said I am disabled and am on a very fixed income. Her whole demeanor changed. She grew horribly mean and started yelling at me and saying that she's talking and if I wouldn't choose a payment plan with her that could leave. Like I quite a bit bigger than me, I felt threatened by her her eyes were even mean. I got up onto my walker and walked out and she still continued to yell at me as my back was to her even when I exited her office. She was mean and I felt threatened by her as she showed complete abd total discrimination against me. I don't recommend anyone fall for there scam like I did. I filed a discrimination complaint against this woman with ADA Americans with disabilities and with civil liberties union. I hope this will stop that horrible mean woman from ever treating anyone like this again.
