Applebee's review: Very loud rock music playing while trying to dine

I have a complaint for Applebee's at 201 S. Hermitage Rd, Hermitage Pa 16148 we were there on May 1,2023, at 4:13. receipts # [protected]. There were 2 people at our table. We could not even hear each other talk because of the outrageous loud, rock music playing. We asked our server Sara S to please turn down the music. She said she had and that was the lowest she could do for us. We still had to yell to hear each other, so we asked for the Manager. That's when the Assistant Manager Justin, came out and asked what he could do for us. He also said unfortunately we were sitting under a speaker. What do you want me to do, turn it off and we replied Yes. Justin then said he couldn't do that because it would deprive others of their music. When people dine out they want easy listening music, something pleasant and mellow, not bang your head off the wall music, which was what they were playing. We could not enjoy our steaks!

The couple across the aisle from us when leaving asked if we had complained about the music and then also said it was very unsatisfactory and said they will not be back.

Because of the way this matter was handled we will not be back, either.

If you continue to treat customers this way you will not be around very long!
