My daughter baught x2 rings for me and my husband as a gift and she paid cash for it. My husbands ring is a titanium which cant be sized. The guy at the store told her that if it doesnt fit we can just come to exchange it for the right size and they have enough stock. When we opened it my ring had two stones missing and my husband too small. On sunday 20 Febr'22 wewent to Riverside branch to exchange the rings. The lady there first gave me and my husband two other rings instead of the same that was bought. She also refused to call the branch in Ilanga Mall to confirm if they have the same so that we can go there to fit them. She refused and she also refused to order them for us. I then asked her to then give my daughters money back, she send us to Sterns and wanted to give us a voucher. Said she dont have money in the shop. When I told her that that is not customer service she got mad and shouted at us and said she have got rights? On the back of the slip are the terms and conditions, which stipulated that you get refunded back the same way you paid. She also asked for a credit card which I dont have? I complain to the area manager and she said that they will arrange with them to give us our money back. The branch manager called on Monday 21 Febr 22 said she will let me know as soon as she gets money in before 15h00. Till now nothing? When and where can we be refunded and return the rings?

Desired outcome: Answer asap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

American Swiss Michael Kors ladies watch

Good day.

I've recently purchased a Michael Kors ladies watch as a gift for my wife.

Upon opening the gift we noticed a evident fade and scratches on the ear areas where the straps connects. Looks honestly like a previously used item. I'm very disappointed by this because I chose to buy from American Swiss as I considered you to be one of the most reputable brands in the jewellery business.

Desired outcome: I would like a replacement.

on the 06 February 2022 I bought a ring for my wife but 3 days later she noticed scratches and dull spots on it ,today is 14 February i went back to try and change it they refused ,I asked for a refund they refused, the ring is not even 1 week old .should I take this matter to consumer council or what...this american swiss is at liberty mall pmb.

I purchased a wedding ring last year two piece and was told its white gold and I paid alot of money for this ring, it changed color so badly, it broke I sent it back for fixing and I had to pay, I always buy from american swiss as in forever but totally unhappy with this ring, I need help or I ca post on social media for people not to waste they money

My boyfriend bought engagement ring on 18 /12/2021 at American swiss it was surprise ring he only found out the ring s too big on 22 /12/2121 we tried to return it at the store to get my size they refuse t give me my size the only thing that they told me was they don't have my size i told them to exchange they refuse to change i ask them t refund they refuse i don't know what t do or to take this t my lawyer i can't wear a big ring if he knew that there's no exchange he wl never bought it there

American Swiss IPhone8

I bought an Iphone 8 at American Swiss at Grahamstown in the Eastern Cape province November 2021 but after 2 weeks the buttons stopped working, i sent it back for repairs but they are still keeping it at their shop and everyday when i go there to check it, they say they haven't got the supplier to repair the phone. This phone is still new i only used it for 2 weeks and i feel like the shop doesn't care about this matter beacause everytime i go there. They keep telling ne they dont have the company to repair yet

American Swiss Poor service

I bought earrings at American Swiss highland mews Klipfontein Witbank worth R499 after a month the shining diamond fade away and damaged not knowing what happened, I went to the store and showed the manager and she said there's nothing she can do. I'm so disappointed they did not last even a year.

American Swiss Account number [protected]

I Purchased a pair of 0.55 diamond SNOWFLAKE earrings on 23/10/2021, American Swiss, Phoenix plaza Durban. There was no price on the display so the lady checked the computer, told me it was R29999 and with a 35% discount I paid R19499. On the American Swiss website, same earring normal price is R23999. Even my Receipt description is different. It says solitaire instead of snowflake. I went back to the store and the agent insists price is correct. I know I was charged incorrectly. How can the normal price of the same item in the same company differ so much. I would like you to check the item number on the receipt with the item I purchased. Photos are attached. Please rectify my account. 35% of R23999 is R15599. 35 and that's what I should have been charged. My contact number [protected]. TFG ACCOUNT NUMBER [protected]

American Swiss Both product and service

Good evening I purchased a ring In july, it dit not fit and I took it back to refund, they were going to refund but my boyfriend fetched it back. Then they said wait till summer it might fit then, I moved and gave in the ring at cape gate and they kept it there with the paper work and certificate for the manager. They didn't want to return it. I went and fetched it and only realised once home no certificate or original packaging was given back. I don't want this ring I had it evaluated and and its not even worth R600. 3 months after purchasing it they tell me its old stock, why cell me old stock anyway and then not wanting to return it. Please arrange a currier I will pay and take your ring back because even emailing the lady asking for my paperwork she ignores me and this is not acceptable. Indo not believe a person should be made such a fool of.

American Swiss Treatment of staff

I just think it's downright unfair for your employees to be working on a day where there is a constitutional right for them to go vote today, and still they have to work from 8am to 7pm? Utter nonsense, customers shouldn't be the only people put on a pedastal, what about your hard-working staff? They have a right to vote, instead they have to stand around an empty store for 11 hours, ridiculous!

American swiss is the bad Jewellery shop ever!Im told that my partner's ring was smashed and I really don't understand why would my partner do that! Your products are very flimsy and I will never ever buy nor trust you products. The ring only have 2 years but I'm told silly comments pertaining this ring.I will definitely spread the word so people will know about your poor service and products that doesn't meet the standards.Im so pissed!

American Swiss Calvin Klein watch

On friday the 15th October, send a watch back for a battery and minor repair . They lady said she can't see where she can send such a watch for service i can just leave it there with them so that they can find out. I went back to them today and the watch is still there because they were busy to find out were they could send it.

American Swiss Engagement Ring 💍 @ Repairs

What a lengthy, frustrating process with no customer satisfaction at all... the process started all over as of today (22nd September 2021, since 2nd July 2021).. imagine this for business!

I walked into American Swiss, Bayside Table View on the 2nd July 2021. Made an enquiry as I need two hooks replaced on my Engagement ring. The sales assistant captured all my details etc (successful). The young lady (Noni) explained the procedure, whereby I would get an sms as proof that I brought in an item as they went paperless. I was told, after the sms, the item gets fetched from the store within 7 working days, the repairs department would then send a quote which I can either accept or decline etc... weeks went by into the new month. I then decided to popin to the store on my way home as I get to pass through the mall some days when travelling. The sales people could not remember me, whilst I explained that I brought my ring in a month ago and even gave a discription of the ring to the lady who captured my item but they could not remember (not blaming them as it's been a month without contact, sms of quote etc) I had to submit my details to the manager (whom I was told yesterday, no longer works for the store) she personally told me she would be taking it over as this has been so long and still nothing. In early August when I had to follow up, the manager told me she would call repairs and find out what is happening then give me a call (feedback).. week or two I passed by the store again, asked what's happening, I had to remind her about the situation and she said they still did not get back to her thats why she never called me but she will call right away... at this moment, I am in store, standing, waiting on her to call... I was handed the phone to give the discription of the ring and it turns out that the repairs never had the ring at the time and was not aware of my request. FRUSTRATED AND IRRITATED at this stage - no communication whatsoever and at this stage, the ring is still not in their possesion for repairs.
The manager says to me she will call again the following day and find out if they got to the ring and give me a call to let me know what's happening and this time around I mention it to her that she promised to call the last and never did so that I had to come in and follow up myself (unprofessional).

Next day went by, I go popin again and she tells me she tried them earlier today but they only sent the quote etc 5 min ago.
She goes onto the system, into the quote, shows me the amount of R865.08 and asks if I accept..? At this time of showing, she send the quote to me and on her side accepts while I am standing with her.
Finally the ring is "suppose" be in progress.

I get an sms saying the ring is ready for collection. I go to the store, spoke to the lady who captured my ring 💍 asking her if the ring is in store as I got the sms - she says to me then it definitely is with them in store. I just happened to ask her to check the ring before we proceed with anything else, let's make sure the job was done. As she takes the ring out all confidently, saying to me there is no need to check cause it has to be done (very lovely lady btw) I tell her, let's just check to be safe! To our suprise, nothing was done to my ring, I have been quoted, basically charged a price on an item they never even worked on! I was cool and calm, the lady said she will have to deal with my ring repair again as the Manager resigned.. ok!

She asks me if I am in a hurry (just after 4pm) I told her yes, I am on my way home.
She assures me she will call, she doesn't know what went wrong etc.
She says she will have to go with the same job number and not open a new one as the current one has not been finalized so she will send the ring back and write this in the goods sent book as proof that my ring went out of store again.

Earlier today @ exactly 10h02 - I receive a call from Noni, she explains to me that she has spoken to the repairs department, not sure what happened but they say that the quote must've not been accepted. I explained to the lady, I have shown her the sms as proof just yesterday which she wasn't really interested in as she had to check via their system anyway... she said yes, she understands what I am telling her but the fight is not from them with me, she was telling me the repairs said they somehow never received the "accept" but they will pick up the item within this week and have it back next week as it is marked as "urgent" once again!

I asked the lady how that now works, sending the ring out again without any proof the 2nd time but writing in her goods sent book and with that I ask her how it helps sending it out with no confirmation on the system or acceptance of a go ahead via the system when it was done at first but was never valid or received..

I then ended my call by telling her as long as they have proof that my ring left their store again, frustrated but not able to express myself at the time as I was in office while answering her call.

I am not happy about this at all.
This is no sense of customer service at all (poor is not even the word)!

Desired outcome: Satusfy your customer cause that is what your business stands for.. I am shocked to see the amount of complaints and to top it all, the recent complaints. Bad for business!

American Swiss Product

I bought my son a tempo watch for his birthday, a few weeks ago, had it for 4 week before I gave it. live in oudshoorn, my son studies 500km away, gave him the gift when he opened his temp box all excited, the "O" in tempo was missing in the face, the watch stopped ticking, so it seemed to my son I bought a knock off, very disappointed and embarrassed I was. Immediately took it to a branch in cape Town, they in turn told me if they take it they must send it for repairs and I will wait 4-6 weeks. I have to take it to where I bought it and they will replace it with a new one...
So I must drive back 500km then return 500km to give a gift I assumed was quality, instead I get the run around asif I bought it at an informal trader. Very disappointing and totally unacceptable.
Can someone please let me save some face for the humiliation I suffered Infront of my son. I want a new watch, and I refuse to travel 1000km for it.
Bought originally in oudshoorn, tried to replace it in Westgate mall (cape Town)

American Swiss My refund

I currently experiencing very poor customer service from the Ladysmith branch regarding my refund Firstly it was the server, then now its the back and forth for getting my money back . And what has pissed me the most is that no one bothers to pick up the phone and give me an update, instead I have to call or drive only to get Carlene's attitude and empty promise.I filled in a form that was meant to reach headoffice I doubt it got there.
