The patient and myself live in a fifth wheel RV. The patient Jason Staberg, wants to be at home and not in a facility. Well Amedisys tried to stop that because the people delivering the hospital bed refused to complete the delivery due to our rv flooring. The nurse claimed that she called adult protective services for resources. But the adult protective services agent let me know that they were there because they were told I had no food my RV was in disarray and I refuse a hospital bed. I never refused the hospital bed. They refuse to deliver it. And then when I was trying to come up with the solution before my partner became unable to properly respond said he no longer wanted to deal with the hospital bed because it was bringing too much stress trying to figure out how to put a hospital bed in our RV. I understand that they feel he needs a hospital bed due to aspiration precautions, but that's why they have wedge pillows and he does not like being propped up like that I have the pillows propped up in an elevated manner and he just lays over to the side he's uncomfortable sleeping propped up. And a photo of him is provided..

Desired outcome: I think that is abuse of power. And it is totally wrong to make anyone feel like they are less than deserving of the same services as the people who live in a large brick and mortar home.
