The regular nurses genuinely care and try to help. The problem is the medical director, mary francis. Mary francis also does home visits and recertifications.in my opinion she is a liar and only tells the truth when you prove her wrong. She is rude and unprofessional. I expected the medical director to be well-dressed and knowledgeable. She arrived at our home in wrinkled jeans and a t-shirt looking like she was going to a swap meet. I could not believe she was a nurse and definitely not the medical director. I have serious concerns about her ability to provide medical care as she provided no benefit to our family. I was also told by an agency employee that she places false information in your permanent medical records to get you discharged from care when she realizes that she won't get her way. Be very cautious when using this agency as your family's well-being could be in jeopardy. Amedisys should be ashamed of having this woman on their payroll. They should ask their employees to provide information anonymously as they are afraid of losing thier jobs. Mary francis is a bully.
