Stole 500 dollars did nothing. Do not answer phone very rude

Poor response time and poor customer service related to online subscriptions. They promise you can cancel anytime to avoid charges, but phone goes to a poor vm recording and nobody responds to the cancellation requests. Untrustworthy and disappointing. Feels like a scam.

I went to the Amen Clinic in Atlanta last November and had Spect scans done of my brain. I have to say it was a turning point in my life getting the results, feedback, and guidance on how best to move forward with not only my treatment and supplements but also the education into why I was feeling the way was. 5 star ? experience and 2 thumbs ? Up!

I was and am impressed with Amen clinic. They did testing and spect scans of my brain. They helped me to recognize what needed attention through their evaluation, recommendations, and suggestions. I implemented them and it has been life changing. They look at brain systems not just mental health systems. They provide what people need to know and do, to get better. A method that should be adopted by all of psychiatry.

We have not had the *** imaging yet for our 5 year old, but I am concerned after reading these reviews! People have been very nice by phone, but it did take awhile to hear back from them. The doctor I spoke with once was very rude and scolded me. When I defended myself, she once again corrected me again. NOT a good beginning and wondering if I should proceed with this huge amount of expense for much needed answers.

Interesting reading the feedback here because my experience was completely different. I learned about this clinic via a family member and their process was much different approach than previous "professionals" I've been to. I didn't feel judged at all and I finally had a better idea of the issues I've dealt with and still was dealing with. They didn't just want put me on a bunch of pharmaceuticals and I didn't really understand why, they broke down their assessments of me and they recommended one along with some natural supplements specific to my situation. If I had it to do over again, I definitely would

My husband paid $4,000 for a three visit therapy, a few hours each visit,for our daughter who is chronically depressed. We were not impressed by the care given to her. Apart from her brain scan, they did little to help her. We paid to fly her out to Los Angeles where she stayed for the days required for her treatment. For the almost $5,000 we spent, I think it would have been better if she had received regular, traditional visits to a psychiatrist. She still suffers and as far as I know, there was no follow-up. In short, we were not satisfied with the ‘care’ they gave her. One thing, they were swift to suck that money out of our account, days before her visit. All in all, my daughter was not helped by Amen Clinic and we wished we had gone another route!

This clinic is a joke. I saw this guy presenting his program and decided to make a call trying to help my daughter. After talk to a very skilled sales guy I got convinced that my daughter was in good hands to treat her anxiety and low self steam. To make the story short, today, after 6 months I have a nice brain scam, that's useless to me and no treatment to my daughter at all. As matter as fact, she got worse and feeling that she have no hope. I feel like I paid a very expensive scammers to cause more damage just because I trusted some guys that are very well trained to sell. PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. They don't do any treatment, they don't have any psychologist or psychiatrist doing the follow up they promise and all they did was give my daughter some drugs that didn't hep at all.

I don’t say this lightly: Amen Clinic saved my husband’s life. Well worth it to have my husband’s toxic brain injury validated through the SPECT scan. My husband suffered from chronic toxic exposure that no local professional knew how to treat. Amen Clinic Dr Emina and Bellevue-based Dr Chapek teamed up to provide treatments with supplement support that noticeably helped hubby feel better *immediately.It’s rare to have such highly capable, competent doctors who are humble and who take the time to listen and give clear explanations + superb treatment. Hubby is a compliant patient, follows Dr’s orders, and has his follow-up appointments. Dr Emina speaks in easy-to-understand terms, using analogies to help us understand the importance of compliance. Dr Chapek asks incisive questions and has done an amazing job providing an effective and powerful detox regimen. We will be returning for hubby’s follow-up scan. Thank you, Dr Amen, for your courage to choose the road less traveled, despite the unfounded arrogant and ignorant criticism. Even Jesus had and still has his critics?

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! This is a scam! You will just be THROWING your money away and guess who is there to catch it? That’s right the Amen Clinic! They feed you with promises of helping you, but they can’t even help themselves! They are more dysfunctional, unorganized, and out of sync than my brain, so how could they possibly help me?!? I have felt more stress and anxiety working with the Amen Clinic in the last month than I have in the past 10 years with all of my diagnoses! They want you to keep feeding them money and keep feeding them money... of course the Amen Clinic suggests that you buy their extremely overpriced supplements, books, videos, kits, sleep studies, and so on. When I ask if I can get some other brand, they “do not suggest it” and keep pushing the many many many products they have on their shelves from Dr(quack) Amen AND his WIFE... have to pay for her plastic surgery and Botox some how I guess... I came in with high hopes and optimism, but the Amen clinic’s doctors are nothing more than pill pushers and the most underprepared kindergarten students I have ever met! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME !

I really dont understand the negative reviews about AMEN clinic I have been with AMEN clinic in Manhattan for three years Dr *** and his secretary are completely amazing the whole place is amazing the opportunity to have herbs instead of medication the way they cut cost to make sure you dont pay too much the testing that they do they are completely amazing and a godsend I do not understand the negative reviews they do not deserve any of these at all because they are truly amazing I suffer from brain damage complex post traumatic stress disorder DID hypervigilance. And if it wasnt for them helping me I would be truly lost I praise God every day that I have them in my life that I can call them anytime day or night and they will always answer the phone Dr *** is my guardian *** and people should leave a great review because if it wasnt for this company. If it wasnt for Dr *** I dont know what I would do . Maybe people that dont have problems dont appreciate every single thing they do but Im telling you right now theyre amazingI would be totally lost and I am finally getting my sanity back because of them kind regards

My son actually got worse. The pre-screening questions information were used in the initial brain scan consult - as means to tie in why the scan results revealed “issues”. I felt like I was in a palm readers office who’s front desk person asked questions then fed the answers to the psychic as a false means to read your palm/mind. False hope and many up-charges in “treatment plan” with absolutely NO change. At one point a prescribed supplement caused my son to withdraw, stop doing things he loved and got depressed for first time in his life. The office staff or case managers were often times withdrawn, unorganized. On Two occasions they called my cell and were addressing me as if we were someone else. They seem to be hurried, dismissive and uneducated in responding to questions. We keep “trying” new supplements and dosages as if it’s a guessing game - contrary to what was sold to us as the SPECT scan can tell the Dr. exactly what the issues are and provide a specific “treatment plan” based on the scans. After $5000 Spent and no results - I will be seeking a refund. People should Know that Amen Clinic for us, sold us something they have not delivered.

All I got from Amen was fake appointments; we werent told they were pandemic appointments; I didnt want to have to wait 2 months to see a Lyme psychiatrist but there are none. I was supposed to move but waited; got the scans done in Chicago; and got PTSD and permanent hearing damage snd my *** rights taken away. Y the technician . Constant lies from the Director told there were no therapist at AKEN where she worked 5 1/2 years; she lied to keep the truth from coming out. I used my. Time with the regular psychiatrist talking about what happened. Now I am a different; terrified person in s different state. They treat people who are hearing impaired like second class citizens ; now they are kicking me out; in s new state without any help. I just lost my photographic memory in May. I cant wait a year. I dont drive, due to my disability. I dont remember selling my house to move where I thought there were Lyme psychiatrists. It wax a scam but now I am permanently damaged! I dont know what to do. The abusive technician gets to stay as does the lying Director that called the police when she lied there were no therapists to shut me up; they dont care. They wont help; I cant go out( I am constantly frightened; I scream constantly. I was happy before Amem now I dont know what to do.

I placed a $500 deposit to schedule an appointment way in advance. Once I began researching the company, customer experience and the enormous negative reviews throughout the internet, as well as the negative reviews located on this website, I began reaching out to the clinic inquiring about procedures and the potential negative affect this csn have on my health. After leaving several messages that were never returned, someone finally answered the phone. All they were able to offer is read the documents we sent you and everything else will be explained in your first appointment. I had several logical and legitimate questions about the procedures that made me uncomfortable to continue without receiving reasonable answers. Again, and especially after reading some of the horror stories from past patients and reading the review threads on various internet resources. So the end result is that I asked for a refund of my $500 because of trust issues in the procedures. The refund was denied. Please do right by me and other potential clients by refunding my $500 deposit ASAP and please understand that if compassion and care were granted from those that answer your phones, and, as a minimum, simple concerns regarding your procedures were addressed in a respectful manor, I might have moved forward with treatment. Please refund my $500 deposit

Please do not waste your time or your money. My daughter had a mental breakdown. I had such high hopes for this clinic I was at the last stage before I was looking into group homes for my daughter. This is probably why Im more upset than anything. I was very desperate and scared and they promised me results and answers that I never received. They gave me the scans in October ( I should say scam) And made me wait 21/2 months for the results. *** rudely canceled my appointment 1 hour before my appointment and rescheduled. Unfortunately when we finally had the appointment *** was all talking about herself (she is very Conceited and rude) she didnt know what she was saying and thought she knew it all. The whole reason why I wanted to get the scan was to get facts of what was wrong with my daughter instead I got a whole bunch of guessing and a way off diagnosis which was wrong and very downplayed. I wish I could have a real doctor talk to me about my daughter unfortunately Amen Clinics do not care they just want your money and then you are on you own. Please stay away from these scam artists. I actually recommended people here before I spoke to this *** and lost all hope for this clinic. After all is said and done I never received any documentation of my daughters brain scan and its going on 3 months that my daughter had these waste of a time scam

PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE! READ THIS CAREFULLY! They stole my money and injured me in the process; all I got was a juice box. This place is a complete scam, a waste of money, a bunch of quacks selling snake oil. The "clinic" is nothing more than a conveyor band.They charged me a lot of money and refunded only $250. So basically they charge you to go for the first appointment to get injured by their personnel saying "we already scanned you". I saw them for the first and the last time in my life a couple of days ago and our process ended before it began. Their failure to provide a safe service cost me $4720 + my recovery spendings + my time and the stress they caused on top of the time away from work (2 days as of now)! # They don't have an emergency set up such as a simple bed to lay down in case you have your sugar level down or you have a heart attack. I was taken to the manager's office, sat down in an uncomfortable chair and waited to see if the numbness on my neck would go away with a shaking body and low blood pressure and dizziness. (I asked them to get my blood pressure multiple times and the manager answered me saying " we don't do vitals here for this procedure". She gave me an apple juice full of sugar. # They ask to discontinue meds. Upon 4 days of the scan which can cause complications in patients besides the bias of the validity. But it doesn't matter; WE DON'T TAKE VITALS HERE. Nor they don't think there is a need for a single bed for the patients to lay down if needed. They want them IN AND OUT QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE!Here are their procedures to measure biological activity in the brain in the first appointment;# I have been taken with an incomplete intake form. # None of the pre-assessments were completed as they claim in their process. You get charged then wait. A "technician" with a very poor behavior comes to get you in to rush for the second victim. Their computer test took less than 15 minutes which they claimed to be more in their brochure sent to me. She interrupted me while I was performing the test. She was in and out and she injected the radiotracers in my bloodstream when I was trying to push the button on the keyboard while performing the test (claimed to take 20 minutes but it was less than 15 minutes). The Next step was taking the show to another level, the scan; where my neck injury occurred. I hurried after the computer test to get the scans done. I immediately lay down on the bed. The technician provided the neck support I asked for, not giving enough time to adjust myself to the situation with no question of if I felt comfortable enough to start. She did not even listen or give time or chance to talk. ( the manager claims that she is highly trained and experienced). She kept talking to divert my attention and distract me from adjusting myself saying it would be fine and easy if I was calm. I will just need to stay still for 15 minutes and so on. Such a trained and experienced technician! My decision-making process was impaired by her *** things on top of her poor behavior. They strapped me like something out of "One flew over the Cukoo's Nest". The technician tightened the straps so hard I think I got whiplash. It was uncomfortable at the beginning, the scan went on, my pain grew more and more intense. I started groaning giving her warnings and the technician reprimanded me yelling to stay still which was EXTREMELY RUDE to me! She did not listen when I gave the warnings (multiple times before I left the bed). Another technician came to help, seeing how I was struggling, but he did not hesitate to agree with her that I could take the pain a few more minutes so they both insisted saying " Hold on, almost done". I was experiencing serious, unbearable pain. I ended up leaving the bed with excessive numbness, pain on my neck and dizziness, without being able to complete the process. # No bed in the whole clinic to lay down in order to recuperate from the traumatic experience. The closest thing to being examined for injury was the manager giving a juice box. No effort to help find another doctor, no sense of emergency, no offer for calling an ambulance or someone I know or even an offer to refund my hard-earned money to keep me quiet. She was still trying to reschedule my next appointment asking me questions expecting me to answer them. SUCH CARELESSNESS, CLUELESSNESS, and COMPLETE LACK OF COMPASSION! # I was able to talk to the doctor when I was in the manager's room and asked if he thought the scans were still valid. I was told to come back tomorrow for the second one and the scans were valid for them. (They made me pay for two scans). # The *** machine looked very old! Judging by the nonplused reactions of the technician ( have not came across with a nurse), manager and the Doctor, this type of thing happens on the regular: just another day at the *** CLINIC": Victim complains of the pain, ignore, send them on their way, charge their credit card for injuring them. Next victim, go spend money (but no updated equipment). Whatever happened to the hippocratic Oath? "First do no harm". I suppose it doesn't apply since they are not real doctors anyway. They harmed me big time! This is the next day and my pain has only grown worse. Now I have to go see an actual specialist to examine the damage they caused. Hopefully not permanent! A quick search revealed *** claims are not recognized by the legitimate medical community nor backed by science. They just produce very expensive pictures of your brain and any diagnosis could be accomplished by regular appointment. I think this place needs seriously considering closing before they get sued for malpractice. I will be looking to see if there is class-action I can join. Not just for my health and my hard-earned money but as a human being to stop this kind of scams harming other victims!
