I have an auto loan with Ally Financial. The dealer refunded some extended maintenance charges that I did not know was included in the loan. So, they offered to send me the funds or pay Ally. Big mistake! I let them pay Ally ~$12,000 in two separate payments. The $7000 payment made on 5/2/25 was originally allocated so that I did not have any future payements for 4-5 months. They then turned around and reallocated how those funds were applied on the account without me knowing or requesting it. Now they will not reverse the payment allocation- I keep getting put on long holds and just the getting run around in general.
Desired outcome: Customer service needs to change the payment allocation. This company is horrible to work with, and the customer service is all offshore reading scripts.
