air academy federal credit union is not good. they are mean when you talk to them and don't tell you when they change your interest rate. i didn't agree to the higher rate and they didn't tell me about it.

This bank is really frustrating. They keep saying they don't have our insurance proof even though we sent it 3 times. Now they added insurance for almost $4000 and say we missed 2 payments even though we paid. This made my credit score drop by 150 points. When we call, they give us the runaround and say nothing is wrong. But then they call the next day saying we're past due.

AAFCU said they didn't get my insurance policy, so they made me buy insurance from another company without telling me. They said I could fix it by uploading my policy on the other company's website. A few months later, they told me to email them my policy. I asked for updates by email or phone, but they didn't give me any. After another month, they sent me the same notice. They want me to do everything and they're not trying to fix their mistake.

My car got stolen in June and my car insurance company paid AAFCU the rest of my auto loan on July 31. IAA sent an email to my car insurance company saying that they got the payment and AAFCU confirmed it. They got emails, screenshots, and more to prove it. I shouldn't have been charged for my monthly car payments by AAFCU when payment was sent on July 31 and I should have gotten my money back from AAFCU for the extra month's payment. But, I've been charged every month since then. If I didn't bring it up, I would've kept getting charged by AAFCU even though they got the lump sum. That's not cool. AAFCU says they "researched on our end and could not find anything for [the amount].", even though my insurance company gave them enough proof that they got the payment. AAFCU stopped answering me when I asked for a supervisor even though I emailed them three times. This is a big deal for me because I'm paying two auto loans right now. I need this fixed right away.

I had a car loan with Air Academy Federal Credit Union for almost a year. I never missed any payments or had any problems. In early April, I asked for a payoff balance, and they gave it to me. I sent a check to the address they gave me, but it never arrived, even though they said it wasn't returned. I talked to customer service, and they said to wait for payment processing, but I didn't want to wait. I decided to void the check and send another one. I also made my April payment to avoid any negative impact on my credit. The customer service rep told me that if I made a payment in April, it wouldn't affect my credit. I made my payment online on April 28th and went to a partner credit union of AAFCU to submit the second check for the full loan consolidation the next day. AAFCU never mentioned this option before, even though there are no AAFCU branches in my area. After submitting the check in person, my account was consolidated, and April's payment was returned to me as a check. My account was finally reported as paid in full, but April's payment was reported as 30 days late. When I contacted AAFCU customer service to correct the mistake, they said that the payment was submitted in May, not April.
