Activision review: COD ban for "boosting"?

I have been banned for supposedly "boosting", which I had no idea what it was. I recently acquired a new laptop and monitor so thought I would try COD on these instead of my console to see the difference in graphics and performance. During games I had to adjust settings on the monitor to stop the image from being stretched, but this is the only difference I can guess is why I have been banned. This is having a major impact on my mental health as having a couple of games with my friend now living in Australia, is part of my daily routine that helps keep my ADHD in check and now I'm lost with it being messed up. I have put 5 years into my account and am livid it has been taken away for no valid reason and with no way to speak to anyone to amend it.
