Cancel it by saying it was a fruadulant charge. Tell your credit card company you have no idea how they got your card regardless. Since these guys are crooks it takes acting like one to get your money back. . . So be it

I ACTUALLY HAVE A GOOD COMMENT ABOUT ACAI BERRY MAXX. THE COMPANY HANDLED MY PROBLEM REAL WELL. I DIDN'T HAVE TO WAIT ON HOLD FOR A REPRESENTATIVE LONG, AND THEY ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS ACCURATELY AND PRECISE. THE COMPANY IN ALSO LET ME SEND MY PRODUCT BACK FOR A REFUND PER THE AGREEMENT ON THE WEBSITE WITH THE 25% DISPOSAL FEE THAT I AGREED TO. I COULDN'T AFFORD IT SO THATS WHY I CANCELLED IT. BUT ITS A GOOD PRODUCT AND I LIKE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I also ordered a 14 day trial of acai berry superfood power. I received the 14 day trial but in 7 days they charged me $86.85 for i don't know what? I have not received any more bottles in the mail.
please Help Me. I am on a limited income (Soc Sec). and can't afford these charges. I have been trying to cancell this product for 3 days and I am put on hold. No one ever picks up the phone. I have been on hold as much as 1hr and 20 min. So I can't even cancell within the right amount of time. I received them on 2-18-09 and they charged me on 2-25-09 for the $86.85. HHHeeelllppp. anyone

I got punked too. I called the given number which dumps you into a an operator database where someone with an east indian accent takes your name and number so that a company rep can call you back. I gave em my info but won't hold my breath. Man what a scam. You think your just into it for $4.99 and they get you "slick willy" style. Bad bad business practice. Here is another number to try for cancellations that I found:

I to have had the same problems with this company and had to accept the fact that I would not see that money again $87.13 and it's been a few months, until today have recieved no other products (that's a good thing) and not charged again, (nothing to charge me for I haven't ordered anything else) checked my bank account today and low and behold a charge of $44.90 from ccnutra, why ? looked online for the company, can't be found so I called my bank this is what they told me I need to do so I will not be charged by this (COMPANY HAHAHA AGAIN!) very improtant and I think this will help many of us victimized by this co. again HAHA.

#1 go to your bank explain whats going on and fill out an ACH stop payment form, if the funds have not posted to the account then they will not be. and this will put a permanant stop payment to this company only for good.

#2 if the money has been removed from your account, then you need to fill out a REGE form, the bank will refund your money and a permanant stop payment will be put on your account for this company, again they will no longer be able to charge your account.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE COMPANYS WE ORDER FROM, I NOW CHECK THE BBB FOR ANY CO'S I HAVE NOT HEARD OF BEFORE IT PULLS UP ALL COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE CO. IT'S UP TO US TO USE OUR BETTER JUDGEMENT AND NOT GIVE OUT OUR BANK ACCOUNT INFO SO FREELY, I HAVE CERTAINLY LEARNED MY LESSON. IF YOU ORDER FROM THIS CO. AGAIN I AM NOT SURE IF THAT WILL TAKE THE PERMANENT STOP PAYMENT OFF OR NOT SO BE AWARE. I CERTANLY HOPE THIS INFO WILL HELP MANY I KNOW I'M LONG WINDED.

I ordered the trail of Acai Berry and just 7 days later they charged my card $87.65 with out my approval. When I tried to get someone on the phone to talk about this and they were never open. So I had to cancel my card and do a fraud investgation, which sucks butt! This comapny is a fraud. Like the others have written you can not cancel this at all.

They fail to disclose adequately that consumers who order a "free" sample are enrolled in a continuing program... charging people's credit cards without authorization...

More info from this website:

Failing to disclose adequately that consumers who order a "free" sample are enrolled in a continuity program, that their accounts will be debited or charged to pay for the program, that they must cancel to avoid extra shipments and debits and charges, and how and when they must cancel to avoid the debits or charges; and
Debiting or charging accounts of consumers who cancelled or tried to cancel, or those who were not adequately informed of the negative option features or terms and conditions, and therefore did not provide express informed consent for the debits or charges.

Two dietary supplement marketers that lured consumers on the Internet with allegedly deceptive weight-loss claims and bogus "free" sample offers, and then debited their bank accounts or charged their credit cards for continuing shipments without their consent, have agreed to settle Federal Trade Commission charges that they violated federal law. With the increase in Internet marketing, the FTC staff has issued a report providing guidance for marketers to help them avoid deception in making online "negative option" offers. On Jan. 23, 09 I also ordered a free bottle of Acaiberry for the cost of shipping which was $4.99. Feb.23 I recieved my credit card statement and found the $4.99 charge along with another charge of $79.96. On Feb 24th I recieved a call from my credit card company asking about a fradulant charge of $85.91.
I then called the company at [protected] asking what these charges were for. She said they were membership charges. I told her I did not want any more product and to take my charges off my account. She said "Sorry, I can't do that, all I can do is remove your membership". She said I am still liable for the charges and I am still charged with 2 months of their so-called membership. I am livid to say the least. B.P.

I JUST ORDERED PURE ACAI BERRY SUPPLEMENTS FREE TRAIL FROM WWW.ADVANCEDWELLNESSRESEARCH.COM BEFORE SEEING COMPLAINTS. I CALLED TO CANCEL MY ORDER MINUTES AFTER I ORDERED IT AND THEY TOLD ME I COULDN'T CANCEL UNTIL I RECEIVED THE PRODUCT IN THE MAIL. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS IS TRUSTWORTHY? WILL THEY CANCEL MY ORDER? WILL THEY CONTINUE SENDING ME THE SUPPLEMENT AND AUTOMATTICALLY BILLING MY CREDIT CARD FOR IT?

I did a little research & typed in Yahoo search, "I lost 25 pound in a month", the acai berry success story came up with the same pictures of the same girl in 7 different websites, in each one she had a different name, if this isn't a scam then I don't know what is, I hope this saves some people who haven't ordered yet their hard earned money. You can buy Acai supplements in retail stores, drug stores & online from many reputable stores. You are probably getting a better quality product from a reputable company anyways, Do your homework. I think Acai works with a healthy diet & exercise but don't fall for this scam.

I also received a bottle with outrageous unauthorized charge of $94.57 after ordering free trial for $5.95 and waiting to receive RMA number that I need for a refund. Not sure whether message went online. I kept seeeing acai berry ads pop up everywhere and bought as it was endorsed by Oprah. I am not happy with the pills, my trial bottle is still half full.

Be sure not to block them until they have refunded you though, or your bank or credit card company has disputed the charges...because if they do try to refund you and that bank account or credit card number is cancelled or blocked, they won't be able to refund your money. :)

I am having the same problem. They charged my account $88.62 but I never received anything with my bottle stating that I would be receiving another bottle if I did not cancel. I thought it was odd that there was no paperwork.

Checking my cc statement, I discovered that they had charged my card and when I call they state that this is a 3rd party customer service and they will send my refund request but it will take 5-7 business days. I feel that I will never see my money. I am concerned that they will charge the card again. VERY FRUSTRATED!

I just did a Google Search for Amazon and Amazon.com Off Site came up...and when I hit link, I got the "free Aciberry" sample scam. I didn;t realize it wasn't associated with the Amazon site until it was too late and now from what I am reading about this am very woeried. I will contact my credit card and change it...I even tried to cancel the transaction immediately on line...No Such Luck and I ended up in the Black Hole somewhere. So How do you cancel ? Seems that when they misrepresent themselves as part of Amazon...it is very fraudulent, They need to be stopped

Most of these Acai Berry sites that sell a "free trial, " of their product, do say that you have X amount of days to call and cancel from the date you gave them your card number. Whether you've recieved the product or not, by then, they WILL CHARGE YOU, since they do not show you called to cancel within the X amount of days. These sites/companies pretty much count on people NOT to read the "fine print." They hope you will just keep clicking submit, continue, and OK all the way to the end without reading much more, than those buttons. If you go to a site that says "FREE TRIAL, " and then a page or two later they're asking for a card number, checking acct number, and a routing number, DON'T TYPE A THING... THEY WILL MORE THAN LIKELY CHARGE YOU SOMEWHERE DOWN THE LINE. Read the fine print, print the fine print for your records BEFORE YOU GIVE THEM ANY FORM OF PAYMENT. If you cancel BEFORE the trial period ends, be sure to get a cancel confirmation number, take note of the date, and get the name of the person you spoke to, this will help your financial institution if they will try to dispute your charge. If the merchant has all of their terms posted out there and you the consumer are in too much of a rush to receive your "free trial" of the world's latest/greatest product and you DON'T READ THE FINE PRINT... YOU SHOULD BE CHARGED EVERY PENNY.

The same thing happened to me, My bank notified me that there were unusual charges occuring on my account and I checked and they had already charge me twise at $78.84 along with their other product Total Clean which alos had charge me twice, one at $79.00 and $84.00 I immediately cancelled that card and tried calling the number on the bank staement and couldn't get anyone for a while, than finally I got some one and they told me that I could get part of my charges back as soon as the bank reopen my card number so they could credit it. I call the bank and they said that they could refund money to my card without the bank needing to do any thing. The Total Cleanse people claimed that they didn't receive the second charge that they made to the bank, My statement clearly shows that they did.

I haven't received any results from either products, I am convienced that they both are totally scams.

Hello,

I too like all, have been scammed and i did not even order this product. What i ordered was acai burn from a different website that these criminlas hacked into acai burn.com(proven by acaiburn and from my receipt that was tampered with) but you are right, what is the ingredient in these pills. If they can scam people like this relentlessly, why would they care to make a quality product, , scammers with a conscience ? I doubt it.

The same experience I had with someone who was unwilling to recognized that (one) their product is not
what they advertised to be. The only reason why I order in the first place is because they stand behind Oprah' s name. They need to be stop from taking advantage of so many people like myself. Needless to say I didn't get anywhere, no product and they took my money.

I also am trying to get a charge of 87.00 on my credit card credited back. With a 30day free trial you have 15 days from the date you order this product to cancle. Its a 30 trial! I got the product in my mail box 8 days after I ordered it that gives me 7days to try this ACAI BERRY.
I want my money back I dont think 7 days is enough to try any product. I was able to talk to customer service and they say they canceld my agreement for any further shipments but when I asked if they would get a credit me back the $87.00 I could not get an answer. I also sent 3 emails and no reply back ATT. Ill call the bank today and block any further charges from this comp.
I do think by Rachel Ray and Opera did us any favors by backing this Acai Berry I thought I could not go wrong if they indorsed this product but these two women led me into a nest of scams...

This company is most definitely a sophisticated scam. When you go out to their website, you are supposedly signup up for a 4 day trial of their Acai Berry. If everyone would bother to read the Terms and Conditions as you say, they will find that as soon as you hit the submit button, you are automatically signing up for their monthly paymemt and you only have 14 days to cancel. Let's see, it takes a day or two to ship, transit time by the USPS, and guess what, more than half your time is gone is gone before you even receive the product. Then, you have way way less than 10 days to finish the trial, before they are charging you $69.95 for the next month's 30 day supply. In the meanwhile, if you happen to catch on to their practice and try to call them, they don't answer the phone.

For everyone's edification, run a BBB report on Cheshunt Overseas LTD and Real Solutions Labs. You will find they both are the same company and have a BBB rating of F. You will also find if you check it out that the P.O. Box in Sparks, Nevada, is a P.O. Box at Mailboxes, etc. They also have a shipping place in Florida, and Real Solutions in Texas and one other place.

Also in their terms and conditions, they state ALL SALES FINAL, and there are no returns for any reason whatsoever.

If you have been victimized by these sneaky devils, dispute the charges with your credit card company as fraudulent. Make sure to return the product anyway. Don't let these people rip you off for $70 for no legitimate reason. There are plenty of other Acai Berry suppliers who charge similar monthly rates, but you can cancel with them if not satisfied and return the product for a refund.

You will also find on further research that Real Solutions Labs is running a website called myhoodiacut.com. They are being sued by Virksen Biotech for trademark infringement of their Hoodiacut. On the natural-acai-berry.com site, it says they are located in St. Kitts and Nevis. This is about as good as all the Nigerian ripoff scams people fall for.

So, Buyer Beware! I wouldn't touch these people with a 10 foot pole. People need to file complaints with their local attorney general's office and department of consumer affairs if you have been taken by them. I suspect their $69.95 for 3o days of pills probably doesn't cost them $10 to make.

Their terms and conditions are deliberatly written to nail you for $69.95 before you even have time to react and cancel regardless if you read them or not. It is true than most people don't take the time to bother to read the terms and conditions and they are getting nailed for it and taken to the cleaners by this company that knows how this works.

I'm ashamed to say, I actually work for this company. I don't push magazine sales, but I do sell rebate vouchers. We have to read word for word from a script. I actually thought something was a bit fishy at this place when, in the first line of my script I say that I'm calling from an order verification department & that I'm call on behalf of "Aton Solutions" - but the business I work for & the name that's on the top corner of my paycheck is Reader's Choice. I also mention that "we're" the makers of Acai Berry, Colon xR, Total Cleanse and White Tea with Acai. However, these calls are monitor recorded so you can try using that to your advantage. I actually just called the 800 # given to customers in order to cancel and it was a recording saying that the number I was trying to reach is no longer in service and was given another number to call: [protected], curious, I dialed the number & it was a recording of some super enthusiastic lady saying that I just called the Reward Center and if I pressed 2 on my telephone keypad then I would be redirected to a customer service representative. I was on hold for 6 minutes too long.. I got impatient and hung up. I will try my best to help you with what I can. ... If you still can't get through to anyone, I suggest you write and xerox a copy of a formal letter of cancellation and keep all your phone records of unanswered calls handy. You could also file a written complaint form at /link removed/ they are building a case against this fraudulent business as I write.

The address & direct phone line for Reader's Choice is:

i ordered acaiberry my credit card was charged $3.95 on 1/16/09. I'm not sure when I ordered it because I never received an email confirmation. I received the product on 1/27/09, I called to cancel any further deliveries on 2/2/09. I received my credit card statement and see a charge for $87.13 on 1 /31/09. I called the company demanding my money back and they told me the trial period began the day they shipped the product how do you call this a trial period when you don't have the product in hand to try. And yes they will give me my money back because i am in the process of reporting this company to the Attorney Generals Office and anyone else I can think of. This is FRAUD

i order the product today and called the company back to cancel 10 mimutes later and got hung up on. i called my bank and cancelled my card, inwhich they told me, that this fake company would try to draft this card again in about 24 hours, so ha ha to them. so, after that i called back and talkeed to steve and asked for someone in charge, but he said no one was avaliable, so i told him to cancel my order now, so he gave me some fake number to return my product, and i told him how i didn't appreciate being hung up on and he said, that we got disconnected. to end the conversation he told me to just send the product back. hope this helps.

i also fell into this scam. i tried to call #[protected] and #[protected], nothing but dead air. they took out of my account 88.62. i was also charged 3 other times before this, but spoke to live bodies each time they went ahead and took my money out of my account. i guess i was lucky that they put the money back into my account. this issue with 88.62 i'm afraid i will not get my money back. i know one thing on monday morning i'm calling my bank and requesting a new debit card. one of the reasons i purchased acai berry was because this product was approved by Oprah, i wonder if she knows that this company is taking money out of our accounts or charging our credit cards with out our authorization.

I ordered the colon cleanse and the berry on a free trial and paid $3.95 each for shipping and handling. I didn't receive the product and called to ask to be cancelled and the guy - John (right) - told me that he would EXTEND my trial until Jan 31st. I finally received the two bottles of pills and I called on Jan 31st to cancel. My first 5 calls I was on hold 20 minutes each and never got thru to anyone. When I finally did get thru somone processed my cancellation. I was still charged $87.13 on 2-2 and 2-4 and was shipped 2 new bottles. When I called to complain the woman said they don't give extensions on the trial period and they could not refund my money. I asked for a supervisor and was transfered to a voice mail that no one has ever called back from. I will be notifying my bank not to allow any more transactions without my approval for a while also.

Those are two different companes, "Advanced Wellness Research" is a legimate company, with a great CEO, and provide great Products. The company you are referring to with the number [protected] is a similar Acai Berry Company called "Acai Berry Boom". They have changed their name several times, and no do list contact information on their bottle, except for the manufacturing center, which happens to be the same at Advanced Wellness Research.

I got the two confused and the CEO of Advanced Wellness responded kindly and promptly to my emailexplaining that there has been some confusion around the different acai berry brands, and I had mistaken his for the other. After this lengthy (and probably frustating email I initally sent him mistaking him for the other company) he still reponded politely and took time to help me find that actual company that had been ripping me off! Just wanted to clarify. Two very different companies!

I am in an auto-order(that I wasn't even ware of)HELL with BOTH the Colon Cleanse & Acai-aSlim Products. This is the BIGGEST rip off I've ever come accrossed & getting it resolved is becoming a REAL nightmare! I trust that you KNOW that MOST consumers DON'T read the small print on these website order venues, not only do you KNOW it, you actually COUNT on it!

Instead of paying all of the customer service(what a JOKE)reps to field all of these complaints, why not just create an HONEST, FORTH- RIGHT website that doesn't trick unsuspecting people into signing up to receive MORE than the "Free Sample" they think they are ordering! I have already disputed these BOGUS charges on my credit card. I will move heaven & earth to see that I'm NOT taken advantage of, and encourage anyone reading this to do the same! If we as consumers take a stand, perhaps these unscropulos companies will think twice before attempting to rip people off.
