ABC Warehouse - Broken whirlpool washer after it was owned for 13 months. 5 year warranty voided.

First I'd love to say DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ABC. I have all new appliances purchased on [protected]. 13 months later I have had 2 of the appliances replaced. Now my 5 year extended warranty is voided . My washer has been defective for months. A service man found the issue to be a defective motor, and it was supposed to be replaced. ABC Warehouse Delivered sub- par, far inferior recliner

Delivered a recliner with 40% less filling and crappy assembly. Even cushion foam was different from floor model. Called within 2 day timeframe. Informed salesperson. Couldn't make it backto store for 2 more days- was informed by manager couldn't do. Was given a bunch of b.s. about " service man to make determination. WAS OUTLIED LIED TO. IF I had a truck- would return on top of managers car. Frickin FRUSTRATING. Gotta pay for something I CAN'T EVEN USE. LAST TIME ABC- K.M.I.A.- LOVE, DAN

Desired outcome: Take recliner back, rewrite sales slip, give me money back.

ABC Warehouse GE Profile counter depth black SS refrigerator

Been in conflict w/manager since delivery of fridge Jan 27. Product rattles, shakes, moves when closing doors, deli/meat drawer jams/sticks; have to maneuver almost forcing it to close. Right side freezer compartment squeaks while left side grinds&scrubs opening and closing freezer door. Loud noises from new product. Service techs says, ‘nothing I can do about that,” ; maybe that’s the way they make’em!” one tech suggested “I” use VASELINE as did store mgr, GE customer service rep and consumer relations or I could hire handy man but warrant doesn’t cover these issues. Store mgr refuses refund/exchange. Problem remains unresolved.

Desired outcome: Exchange fridge or full refund. Been in contact with mgr (phone, in person) about fridge since Jan 18th. Sent pictures and product info.

ABC Warehouse Being assaulted by your staff

My wife and I were verbally assaulted by one of your sales persons. The supposed manager thought nothing of this, and that makes me angry. If the situation cannot be dealt with I will continue to push up the chain. I am embarrassed for your salesman and so-called manger. My wife and I have never in the entirety of our lives been treated this way. Especially when we work so hard for our money and people like yours think they can treat us so poorly and still try to take our money. I need this issue taken care of asap, or I don't believe any of my Veteran brothers or my family members across the state Michigan will ever spend any money in your stores. We are all a very very tight family. Please feel free to contact me.

ABC Warehouse Poor customer service on failed products all within 10 days!

I purchased a Whirlpool washing machine and a GE stove from ABC, both items had problems within 10 days. ABC Warehouse will not refund or exchange. I was told by a salesman “we are not in the business of selling used appliances, once you plug it in, it’s used”. Whirlpool did send a service tech out under their warranty and he said the parts are back-ordered with no delivery date. Therefore, I called Whirlpool back (remember this is all within 10 days), Whirlpool said we only give refunds if you buy off our website, we sell it to ABC and then they sell it to you, we will repair it when the parts are available and that is all we can do, “we will not authorize for you to get a replacement because the parts are on back-order”. The GE stove, the paint is flaking in the bottom of the oven and no one is responding about that issue at all. Waste your time calling the corporate offices, no one will get back to you. I’m out $1600 and will be on my way to the laundromat when I get off work. Please, if enough people see these posts and quit buying from ABC & Whirlpool, it will put a hurt on their business and that’s the only way to get to these shyster companies, is to cut off their money.

Desired outcome: I would like a full refund or the items replaced

I'd like to assist.

Whirlpool and G. E. are two separate companies. Both, along with most other companies, are having issues supplying parts.

The retailer should be able to get return authorization to exchange the units for you.

Companies like Whirlpool purposely make cheap products designed to fail, and then don't provide adequate warranty service. Then Mr. Helpful blames everyone and everything except the company where the fault lies. Whirlpool is busy producing their inferior garbage, they could also be producing parts for the inevitable failures, but servicing them under warranty just isn't profitable to them.

Read your warranty and see what Whirlpool is obligated to do. Then contact the BBB and the Michigan Attorney General if they refuse to honor their warranty. That's the only way I was able to obtain an adequate response from Whirlpool.

ABC Warehouse Damaged partial order, manager Joe rude!

I purchased a couch, chair ottoman with 3 tables and 2 lamps with a tv back in September. I received the tables which were broke in the box, my chair that already had its dust cover ripped to shreds and no inserts for the legs to go in. The ottoman is torn when it got here. I have yet to see my couch! Joe the manager talked to me like I was the bad guy talking over me so I couldn't even say what was wrong! He yelled at me because this is the first he had heard about it. He acts like it's no big deal that I am paying for things I don't have! He then hung up on me! Am I supposed to feel like anything is going to be done about this?

Desired outcome: I want my furniture that I ordered, and the damaged ottoman replaced. I also want money off my bill at this point.

ABC Warehouse Washer Combo

So I have called November 30 my washer does not spin out I called customer service the sky is been out four times ordered two different parts it's still not spinning I wrote a review they said they would get back to me within 24 hours that hasn't happened I called corporate office I've talk to managers and still have not gotten my washer fixed they ordered another part they said they're waiting for that to come in that was way last week this is ridiculous I will never buy anything from ABC Warehouse ever again it's been a total nightmare having to log my clothes to the laundromat and pay for my laundry I'm not even get compensated

ABC Warehouse Bad customer service all around

My husband and I purchased a washer and dryer (ge front loader) before Christmas. I'm physically disabled and can not move things. The salesman Jim was rude and abrasive from the bigginning. We bought the extended warranty in case we needed help. The washer and dryer was delivered on Christmas Eve. At first the water wasn't running then we got it working but still no hot water. We called the day after Christmas to have someone come out. The day arrived and we were told the tech would be out between 12 and 5. We waited all day. The tech called and said he was going to be late and would be here around 4:30. 4:30 came around, and the tech called and couldn't even remember who he called. He said he was overbooked and couldn't make it today. When I said how about tomorrow he said no. I turned it over to my husband who then the tech was very rude. We called the warranty department and they said they couldn't get someone out for a week. After that we contacted the salesman Jim at ABC. He was nothing but condescending ignorant and rude. He basically treated us like we were stupid. Ask us to move the washer, which is huge with a pedestal and fix it ourselves. I let this guy know this is NOT my job. By the time my husband got off the phone with this guy, im hollering out "I'll never buy anything from ABC warehouse again.!"

I was going to purchase a dryer for my daughter, not now. Customer service with this company is so bad. Never again!

Sounds frustrating.

Jim's suggestion was only to help resolve the issue without waiting on a house call. Many people could easily do so, although I can appreciate you can't.

It's frustrating when things don't go as smoothly as we'd hope but, once set up properly, you'll hopefully be very happy.

ABC Warehouse GE Dishwasher

BUYER BEWARE! Just because you buy something NEW doesn't mean NO STRESS and NO HASSLE! Something I think anyone could expect. Read the fine lines of the company you are buying from (in this case a GE appliance from ABC Warehouse). ABC Warehouse will not return, replace or issue you a refund after 48 hours. Most of the time it takes at least that long to realize you have a real problem. So now kicks in the manufactures warranty (GE Electronics). They don't honor the idea that when you purchase a new (in good working condition) product that it is just that. NO, they will fix it for you, but it doesn't matter how long it takes (few weeks, months….) and when their repair person doesn't show that doesn't matter neither. You might get an "I'm sorry", (I didn't even get that, all though it probably would have pissed me off even more). So bottom line if your think you are buying something new so you think NO Hassle, NO Repairs. THINK AGAIN! It has now been 22 days since I purchased a GE electronics appliance from ABC Warehouse, (Shelby Twp, MI). It has been returned to the store, abused (dragged) by their sales manager, no refund, no exchange, no help. So those helpful sales people who make you think they are there for the best interest of the customer. Think again, that only applies while they are trying to make a sale. After that they don't know you. I have contacted all levels of both companies and NOTHING. Just basically F----U. Don't Buy GE Appliances and Don't Buy from ABC Warehouse.

ABC Warehouse Not upfront about delivery

So went into ABC Warehouse on 2/17/2021 in hopes of buying a sectional. We were helped by salesperson Dean at the Monroe St location in Toledo, OH. Purchased the Westwood sectional, power pug. Was originally told, "you might get this as soon as Saturday"... You can imagine we were so excited... Then after we had made the purchase we were told"oh, the sofa part of the sectional is on back-order, so you'll have to wait a couple of weeks"and I was initially fine with that... A couple of weeks comes and goes and I call up to check on the status and was told"oh, sorry now we are waiting on the wedge" and I said we'll weren't we just waiting on the soda before... Basically gave me the run around about how everything has to come in at the same time. Here we are, it is now July 14th, so basically 5 months later... Still no word on when I will get my sectional. I'm sorry, but if this salesman had been upfront about how long it would take, I would have delightfully declined the purchase... But now here I am making payments on a sectional that I don't have and therefore can't enjoy. Very disappointed in the way this has been handled.

I am having the same issue with a chair which is the Westwood recliner. The have had me waiting 4 months and still no idea when I will get it, The sales person said delivery gets priority over picking the chair up at the store. Unfortunately they won't deliver at my address. This seems unfair to me. I am going to wait one more week and then ask for a full refund. I already have two Westwood couches but at this point it isn't worth the wait and hassle. I already paid for it as well.

ABC Warehouse Them giving me a dresser saying that it was sturdy when it was not

They gave me a dresser that said it was sturdy and had nails hammered into it instead they gave me one with staples when I tried to put on the legs it broke I only just got it two days ago I did nothing wrong I did what the instructions said. That is false advertisement in the store from salesmen they lied to me the dresser during shipping broke they lied to me said they put it together with nails instead of staples and they gave me mirror parts why I said I didn't want Mira parts.

Desired outcome: It was supposed to not be broken end it is.

ABC Warehouse I’m complaining on service

I have a massage chair for a month that I financed. The finance company messed up and took full price out of my account 2999 when called them they said it would be straightened out. It was I said cancel my account they said return item and I said no problem. Went to see Mikey my sales guy he said he would not take it back. I'm being dicked around by the financial company and Mikey refuses to take the massage chair back. I don't have bugs or filthy house nothing wrong with the chair I don't want it and at this point I don't think I want to do business with abc warehouse anymore. Jacquelyn Cash

ABC Warehouse Promotions

Purchased a washer and dryer in July 2020 on a 15 month deferred interest through Synchrony Bank. The deferred interest and reoccurring interest charges started in Feb 2021. Reached out to sales person who directed me to call accounting at headquarters. Spoke to 22 people and left multiple messages and still no response. Ridiculous been at this for 2 months and no response from abc warehouse headquarters.

ABC Warehouse Extended warranty

I purchased a washer and dryer from abc may 28 2020 and had issues with washer in june called several times and days before finally getting an individual who assured me I would receive a call from agency completing service, well here it is september 18 2020 and still no service call. Well actually after I sent email requesting a refund for the useless extended warranty a rather rude and obnoxious female calls with a I don't care about your issues attitude and wants to schedule a service call to which I decline and stat I want a refund its been too long waiting for service I have had it I just want the money I paid for a useless service back, well all she wanted to do was schedule service appointment and nothing else so call was pointless. I call corporate's office once again total disregard for my plight just another we will have service manager call you. Staff of abc warehouse all I want is my money back that I paid for the extended warranty you dropped the ball, you failed to honor the terms of this warranty not me and as a dissatisfied customer I would appreciate your compensating me what I paid.

ABC Warehouse Service in Sylvania Ohio (bad store experience)

On May 4, 2020, we purchased a whole set of bedroom furniture for the total amount of almost $2, 000 including tax and delivery fee. When we were at the store, the salesperson verified in the computers that the items that we need were in stock and will be delivered on May 9, 2020. The salesperson's name is Adam Buscanyi. He told us that they're going to give us a courtesy call on that Saturday around 10:00am. We received a call from them a little over 10am. He told us that the items we ordered will not be delivered the same day because they're not available. We were so frustrated because we waited this weekend for our order plus weekend works best for us since we don't have to work. I told him my husband is not gonna be happy so I handed the phone to him. My husband was asking why and what happened. This salesperson started raising his voice while he was on speaker and I literally told him that he's not supposed to yell at us because we're just customers trying to find an answer plus we already paid the whole amount. He kept cussing to my husband and said, these exact words "[censored] you", what hell, motherfucker". So my husband got mad and of course had to yell back at him. That salesperson obviously hung up the phone without explaining what really happened . My husband tried calling the store back and the manager named Brandon answered the phone. My husband was telling him how rude his employee was but he seemed to be depending his side and told us that his salesperson was on speaker and he didn't cuss at my husband. That's a total lie. Then this manager started raising his voice and kept asking what nationality are we. This is totally a discrimination. We told him our ethnic background has nothing to do with our complaints. All we want was to ask to why can't we get our orders though they confirmed that they're going to deliver them on May 9th. They never apologized on the phone instead the manager kept raising his voice.
So, we came to the store a little before 4pm and brought our receipt. We asked him to give our refund back thru a receipt and email. We tried asking the manager what went wrong with our order but he started raising his voice again so my husband got mad raised his voice too. He then returned the receipt to me and said, "I'm not going to give your refund." I was trying to ask him to get our money back and he refused to do so. He said that we need to call corporate office to get our refund instead. He wanted us to stop talking and we told him we have the right to talk. He stated, "customers aren't always right and continued yelling at us. He also stated that if we don't leave he's gonna call a cop whom we talked to outside the store premises.
To sum up this really bad store experience, these employees' attitudes were definitely discriminatory, unacceptable and unprofessional.They were so rude to customers like us. We were truly devastated by this horrible experience. We will never shop and do business with this store ever again.
We are looking forward to get our full refund as we spent almost $2, 000.00

ABC Warehouse 55 inch samsung smart tv

Your website allowed me to order and pay for a TV without telling me that you don't even have it in stock. You took and processed my entire purchase of $497.00 and never alerted me that you didn't have nor do you know when you will have it. I had to call your store in Canton, MI to speak to a salesman to give me that information. I want you to unprocess my payment immediately. I don't want to purchase merchandise from your company. You have unethical business practices.

ABC Warehouse Delivery

The delivery people were very unprofessional, they damaged my wall BADLY, they left behind them a big mess, and even more they messed up the fridge doors and put one higher than the other.. They asked me to get an estimate to fix the damage which I did. They didn't agree with the estimate and said they will only cover $250 and I have to be responsible for the rest otherwise, they can send their people to fix it and I will have to accept the results even if I'm not satisfied with the results .

ABC Warehouse Purchased item wasn't what I ordered wasn't delivered on the day I was told

I went into the store on Sunday 9-1-19 I told the gentelman that I wanted the electronic bed base with the massage and I needed it cordless. he seemed very helpful. looking for what I wanted he gave me the price. I told him that was fine and gave him my credit card to purchase it. he then told me that the earliest I could get it would be Tuesday I said that was fine. That if my son decided to pick it up he would call which we never did call so it should have been delivered on Tuesday which it never was. When I called he said no I said Wed. then he says well your son didnt call I said exactly so it was to be delivered. He said well not until tomorrow. then the bed was delivered today it wasnt what I thought I was paying for it had no massage. When I called the store and expained that they delvered the wrong bed the guys says oh no you would have to pay double of what I paid. Then once again the guy that helped me called me a liar saying that is not what was purchased. I cant believe that this is the way they treat customers I wasnt asking for something for nothing I just expected to receive what he told me I would get for the price I paid. I have purchased many items from your company but I wont again. I have never been treated like this ever when Im spending money. Nothing I was told was honored. ABC Warehouse There are some audio department

There are some audio department I have been to ABC warehouse three different times and Brighton I've had three different school systems put into three different vehicles Mike Bobby and Nick are absolutely amazing I can't speak highly enough about these three any problem that I have ever had all I Gotta do is call and make arrangements for me to drop it off pick it up whatever needs to be done they bend over backwards for the customers I will never ever go anywhere else to have a audio system put into a vehicle Nick Bobby and Mike you three are amazing keep up the good work fellas

ABC Warehouse Damage to my property and then calling my mother a liar

I bought a frig from abc and when they came to deliver my from door knob got stuck. So I asked them to take it back to the store and bring it back they refuse wanting to put it in my garage. I said the frig was too big and they ignored me and did it anyway. While I was at work my aunt was here to have them bring the frig from the garage into the house. When I took my old frig out to the garage my light did not work. I found it hidden in between some cases of water and the fixture was broken and the light bulb still intact. Then they lied and said they didn't do it and I insisted that they did. They then said yes they did break it but my aunt knew about as she was in the garage when they did it. The problem with that lie is my aunt forgot my alarm code and was in the house trying to shut off the alarm and had to call me at work. She was never in the garage. They then agreed to send out a repair man and he called and left a voicemail. My mother called him back twice but no call back. I then went up to abc warehouse and they said he was trying to call me over and over again. I told them he did not call back and whatever is going on you will be fixing my light fixture. They called the repairman on the spot and set it up for the next day. I gave them a different number to call since I will be at work and cannot get calls and my mother is home. The man called the store and said no one was home but he went to the wrong house. He past my house and was at the corner. My mother is standing in the yard and he called she told him to look behind you and back up. I called the store in the meantime to let them know that he was not there and the store manager joe started yelling at me saying you said someone would be there and no one is there you lied we are just wasting our time. I said my mother has not left the house she is waiting and he said she was a liar. I told him don't no one call my mother a liar and the only liar in this whole situation is you. Lied about the light fixture lied on my aunt lied about coming out to fix it. So I called the corporate office to file a complaint with the district manager and the man on the phone hung up on me. Said he was going to give me his voicemail and then slammed the phone down. I quickly called back and asked why did he do that? He said I just need to take your name and number and please give me a good number to call and nothing where its belongs to someone else. Then he would not give me the name of the dm said it was against company policy because maybe he wont be the one calling back. I asked him who does that make sense to? I said fine and then the man pointed out that I need to know how to talk in order to explain things to the dm otherwise he will not speak to me. I have been discriminated before but this is crazy. I told him I know how to speak it is part of my job and I don't you worry about me talking. So when the dm called he said his name was joe. That is the store manager name as well but I did not know because they would not tell me his name anyway. I said joe I do not want to talk to you I will speak with your district manager instead I don't like what you did. Then the man said he was the district manager my name is joe too. I explained things to him and he said you know I am not going to just take your word for it. I said I did not expect that I would expect you to speak with the store manager. I asked for a follow up and he said no he was too busy. I demanded a follow up other wise I will be calling back. He stated that it will be very quick because he had things to do. I replied how long do you think it would take to say what you gotta say. I have never been do disrespected before from a company I am trying to give my money to. I have never had the customer service like this being so bad apart from sprint customer service. Calling customers liars, demanding they learn how to speak when they are talking to a higher up, damaging customer's property and then covering it up. Really? This is your abc warehouse. I want a full apology from this company.
