I registered my daughter in January for a summer horse camp July 6-10 at Camp Iduhapi, and was charged a $50 fee to be put towards camp tuition. Unfortunately, my daughter sustained a meniscus injury of her knee and just had surgery on April 27, and is now non-weight bearing for 6 weeks and unable - until at least the end of August - to do any activities, such as horseback riding, that would put any torque on her knee. I submitted a note from her orthopedic surgeon explicitly stating this, that she can no longer participate in horseback riding camp as it would be detrimental and dangerous to her healing (see attached letter below). Despite cancelling the camp well in advance and providing proof of her surgical condition, the YMCA REFUSES to refund me my $50 deposit for the camp. I am not receiving ANY services from the YMCA, so they should NOT be entitled to keep my money.
Claimed loss: $50
Desired outcome: Refund $50
