Fraud by WES
It is a body without any control or check. Complaints are not heard. it is not transparent, it kept my evaluation pending for more than 2 years and I have not received my evaluation so far. Finally they deactivated my account saying I was not active. Complete lie it is. These guys are money mongers. Beware. I paid to my Indian Institute (IITK) for verification, paid WES fee and also the fee for expediting the process. They never did it. They kept saying that my institute is not responding. It is a scam. some PR or citizenship agents must have been doing wrong things in the system to keep us hanging and waste our time and money. I don't understand what is the reason but I can smell the corruption.

When you stop that's when they will tell you that because you are no longer paying that is why your documents will not be sent to you . Absolute Time Waster
I submitted my transcript application for over a month. All institutions confirmed that transcripts had been electronically transferred to email address for additional review. I have not received status, and the process failed to move forward as anticipated - stalked in 'In progress'. When I contacted WES through phone, the representative, she claimed we'd submit your inquiries with no promise. When I called back, another representative claimed that the system had been down for months and there was no date to confirm when it will be back online. I was asked whether I wanted a refund or to fill out another form to expedite the process. When asked how that was possible without their system being down, there was no reasonable response.

All my documents are ready and only a Turkish transcript was requested for the second time. They will only evaluate one document for a month, but even though I have called many times, I am still waiting. These processes have not been completed for 3 months. They always say they will take a note and forward it to the team, but on the last call they said there was no record of me calling before. They are stalling us. It's a terrible system. You can never reach anyone in authority.

Ignore their website related to processing times. Once I submitted my documents they responded 2 days later stating it would be completed in 9 working days ( not the 3 days or less as stated on website). The 10th day after their completion date and still NO report. I have called them twice and sent two emails on their website but still nothing. They are more than happy taking your money however; their customer service is beyond poor. If I could give them zero I would.

Not happy with wes services
I have paid a month ago for the detailed evaluation (ICAP) report from the normal report I had earlier. The customer service desk does not give any accurate information about the status whenever we call, they just say it will be done by 6 to 8 weeks. When I called after 21 days of application that how much time it will take, they said within this week. Then again when I called, they said it will be April 7th, everytime they change dates and there is no proper answer. Also, when I tell them I am not happy with this inaccurate information, they hardly care to listen. There is a cap on Study permits and still they are not processing the reports on time inspite of charging so much of money. This is not all, when I added my Masters in 2017, I was given equivalency of Diploma whereas my spouse studied from same university and her equivalency was Masters. We both graduated at the same time.
This is ridiculous, they do not care at all. Help me out with all refund from this company. Because this is my 4th report from them, and this is how unprofessional they behave with their customers.
There must be some regulatory to control such companies as we pay our hard earned money for the reports and we do not get reports on time neither we get proper equivalency.
I even changed my email twice, and raise complaint 4 times, they say they cannot initial email which was been used for account creation. They are harassing unnecessarily for no reasons.

WES action contains signs of unfair business practice
Applicant contacted WES by phone in June and informed a WES representative that it is necessary to separate credentials from the course-by-course evaluation that had been completed in the year 2019 (previous account № 4176786). More precisely, Medical Academy must be separated. The representative consulted a supervisor and answered that it can’t be free, and it is recommended to create a new account. A new account № 6566055 was created, and payment in the amount of $172.00 was paid for the separation of credits. WES was informed several times in writing that the new account 6566055 may not contain any information about Medical Academy, and the course-by-course evaluation of two other universities, State Technical University and State Pedagogical University, must be copied from the previous evaluation. In the Inquiry ID № 3281316 dated July 5th, 2024 all the abovementioned facts as well as the fact that the new account has nothing in common with new evaluation were emphasized.
After Applicant received the message that the separation of credentials, for which Applicant paid 172$, had been completed, he found out that the credentials were not separated. Medical Academy was not removed from the account as it was required and promised by a WES representative. The first page of the evaluation summary contains information about Medical Academy. The Medical Academy was not removed from the new account.
Moreover, the course-by-course evaluation of Technical University and State Pedagogical University was not copied from the previous account to the new account. The requirement for which Applicant has paid 172$ was not met.
In view of the abovementioned facts, WES was contacted again. Inquiry 3377181 was created. In response to the given inquiry, a representative answered, "Your evaluation is complete; if you wish to get an evaluation upgrade, please go to your 'my account’ profile and order an evaluation upgrade.”
On October 11th, 2024, WES was contacted by phone. In response to grievances, a representative answered that the credentials can’t be separated.
There is no doubt that Applicant was misled by WES several times. WES collected payment in the amount of 172$ for a fictitious separation of credits. Separation was not made, and course-by-course evaluation was not copied properly from the previous account. WES evaluators had the opportunity to stop doing fictitious separation at any stage if they understood that it could not be done and cancel the account. In spite of this fact, they continued doing fictitious separation, which is not a mistake but misleading and unfair business practice. The notorious separation of credits has been in progress for four months (from July, 2024). In the middle of October, a WES representative affirms, finally, that the credits can be separated.
As for a copy (not for a new evaluation) of course-by-course credits of two universities from the previous account, Applicant can order an evaluation upgrade, but the fee for this upgrade must be rebated, for WES will not be doing a new course-by-course evaluation, and WES will not calculate GPA. WES will copy everything from the previous account. WES didn’t send requests to the universities and didn’t receive the confirmations in the year 2024. All this work was done in the year 2019. Hence, WES may not charge payment for the fantasy course-by-course evaluation. Copy of the previous course-by-course evaluation MUST BE DONE FREE OF CHARGE.
In short, the Applicant’s requirements are:
WES failed to provide an appropriate response to the complaint. In response, WES representatives pretended that they didn't understand what was being said in the complaint. They avoided resolving the issue in the complaint on its merits; they avoided giving a direct answer.

1. WES must separate credits properly. St. Petersburg State Pediatric Medical Academy must be completely removed from the new account (it is not removed now). The evaluation report may not contain information about St. Petersburg State Pediatric Medical Academy.
2. WES must copy the course-by-course evaluation that had been done in the year 2019 from the previous account to the new account, and WES may not charge an additional fee for this copy, for it is a copy of the previous evaluation, not a new one.
3. If WES insists that credentials can’t be separated and course-by-course evaluation will not be copied without additional fee, Applicant requires that the fictitious new account for the separation of credits be closed and a full refund in the amount of 172$ be made.
4. If the abovementioned requirements are not met, Applicant will consider WES action as unfair business practices and the creation of the fictitious evaluation under the pretext of the separation of credits for the purpose of collecting payment in an illegal way. Applicant will be escalating a complaint blaming WES for unfair business practices.

WES Canadian Degree Evaluation Reports are not delivered to me as of now and its been 3 months already. I did my degree evaluation and they charged me about 200+ canadian dollars.

Account Reactivation amount paid but not wes account remains inactive

Degree evaluation
WES advertised that they have agreements with several universities in Iran. It says publicly on the WES website that applicants just need to email their University and WES has an agreement with them that the University will send the academic transcript to WES via a secure portal. But when the University refuses to send the transcript as promised, WES does nothing to help, despite saying they have an agreement with the University. These agreements clearly mean nothing. WES accepts the money paid but does nothing to ensure that the process can be completed. They only accept transcripts from some Universities via a secure portal, but the Universities can just refuse to send them, and WES does nothing about it despite advertising that this is the system that WES has in place. They advertise services that they can not deliver. This is false advertising.

I paid World Education Services (WES) New York to issue my Credential Evaluation Report, but unfortunately I have not received my official report yet. It is informed that my report was sent on August 30, 2023 and it has been 3 months, but It has not arrived at my home yet. I make sure the mailing address I put is correct.
WES staff didn't give me any solution, they just gave me some template answers, saying they can not give me the tracking number because I used Standard Delivery. This company is a SCAMMER!
I applied for Berklee College of Music Boston for Spring January 2024, and it is November already! Berklee can not issue my admission decision because I have not sent my official report of credential evaluation. I spent a lot of money to apply to Berklee and thanks to WES, my application might be considered a failure. My application is on stake because of WES!

Complaint about failure to provide diploma evaluation services
Hello!
On August 8, 2023, I paid for WES services for the evaluation of my diploma and uploaded all the necessary documents in my personal account. I then contacted my educational institution to request confirmation of my education. Since this institution was under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, they refused for a long time, citing the absence of the corresponding regulations. I had to write several appeals to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. After that, my educational institution finally agreed to confirm my higher education diploma. However, currently, it is prohibited to send emails abroad from the institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. Therefore, an employee of the institute sent an academic transcript confirming my education from their personal email.
This document was rejected by WES on September 15, 2023, as it did not comply with WES's internal rules. I understand this, so I again contacted the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia to request an academic transcript on paper in a sealed envelope. I was already in Canada and have not lived in Russia since October 2020.
The institute fulfilled my request and handed me the necessary document through my representatives, which fully complied with all of WES's requirements. I have photos of the document and the envelope.
Upon receiving the envelope here in Canada, I packed it in a postal envelope and sent it to the address specified on the WES website. I also have a photo of the envelope. According to Canada Post, the envelope was delivered to WES partners on October 13, 2023. The tracking number for the mail is [protected].
Since the information in my WES personal account was not updated, on October 19, 2023, I called WES. I provided the postal tracking number, and a WES staff member confirmed the receipt of the letter and asked me to continue monitoring all information regarding the evaluation of my diploma in my personal account.
However, a few days later, the information in my personal account did not update. On October 24, 2023, I wrote a letter to WES expressing my concern. WES replied to me on October 27, 2023. From the content of the letter, I understood that the WES staff member who wrote the reply did not have information that the necessary document was delivered to WES on October 13, 2023.
On October 31, 2023, I called WES again, and a staff member stated that WES did not receive the letter from the institute. This situation causes me severe emotional distress and worsens my physical condition. I had great difficulty obtaining an academic transcript from my institute, and I will not be able to do it a second time.

I have my Master degree with Universite de Nantes-IAE (France) but whole year I have been as exchange student with University of Hasselt (Belgium).

Wes evaluation for immigration
My WES Reference Number is 5833377. I have been fighting with WES for almost a year.
WES showed that my credential is non-recognized, whereas hundreds of students' WES reports say otherwise. They had the same certificate completed from the same Institute, and WES gave them the correct evaluation showing the Institute as recognized.
As asked by WES, my Institute, the Indian Institute of Technical Education, sent all the required documents, such as Official Transcripts attested by the institution itself, letters, and affidavits. The Institute itself sent all the documents in a sealed envelope.
I asked them to either consider the request and revise the report or remove the non-recognized credential from the information so that I could use it for something. Still, they are unwilling to do anything, and I am stuck with this worthless report, which I can not use. The report has two credentials: one is recognized, and the other is not. They can either consider the non-recognized credential and revise or remove the report. After spending 300 dollars, they are not helping, even after a year and hundreds of contact forms and calls.
Desired outcome: Need the report to be revised or the non-recognized credential to be removed. If they can not do either, then refund the money.
WES evaluation services
Horrible company! It's too bad they are still a NACES member and therefore many colleges list them as reliable service providers. I payed for a course by course full evaluation of my degree. Their customer service is deplorable, patronizing and point blank inefficient. They never completed my evaluation due to technical problems on their website to connect with my institution. Then they just closed my order and demanded I pay them more money to reopen when they could never provide a solution when my school and myself tried to get them to resolve the connection problem. I refused to pay more money and tried to escalate to get them to complete the work I had payed fully for. They just refused and would not even answer my claim with the Better Bussiness bureau. Save yourself a headache and a few hundred dollars. There are much better choices for the same services out there.

Waiting for required documents
Dear Sir
Good day, I have applied for credential evaluation via WES (Ref:5866696). Center for Student Services and Development, Ministry of Education, P. R. China (CSSD) already verified and sent documents to WES (attached). However, WES did not receive it. But the system shows it was sent to the WES.
I already uploaded the document on my WES account but WES did not accept it because the document was received was not sent directly to WES through the WES-CSSD channel.
There is a QR code and verification number on each and every document and it can be checked online at anytime.
Moreover, WES also demands English translation of documents that are already in English.
Please look into this matter and resolve the issue. Thank you in anticipation.

We submitted all requested documentation per the instruction on WES's website. After a significant delay in processing our request, WES informed us that the express requirements noted on their website are incorrect and they are not going to process our evaluation request. We then requested cancelation but requested that they mail us the documents that were mailed to them, so that we can work with another service. They refused to help us and resolve the situation.
Lack of communication and information
Last year I requested transcripts from the University of Westerminter using WES.
Paid for the service in full.
However WES did not follow through with my request.
My college sent over my credit transcript in December.
I was later told by WES that a verification email was sent to University of Westerminter Jan 19th .
My app was never updated to indicate and more over it said the app was last updated Dec 12th of 2022. After I reached the school the confirmed no such verification was sent to them.
Called WES again over 6 times to escalate and ask for someone to reach out to Westminster in a course over a month. Was promised an escalation only to wait 2 weeks and nothing.
Finally I called Wednesday March 29th and was again told it would get escalate .
After a day of waiting March 30th I received an email telling me my service was deactivated because it was 180 days. And to pay $50 to reactivate the service.
I am disappointed with this and I want my funds.
WES provided no service.

Course-by-course evaluation
WES is severely not responsive to concerns from their customer. It has been 2 months since they have received my documents for evaluation and to this day, the documents are still on their way to my institution for verification with no word on who or how they sent the documents to. What if the documents didn’t arrive or be received by my institution? The least they can do is inform their customers to whom or how were the documents sent so their customers can follow up on the respective person.
Desired outcome: Proper communication with customers regarding their worries and concerns.
