I can't contact this company to stop this and the only reason I figured this out is because it made my account balance over limit. I am careful usually and I don't even use this card anymore because the interest is ridiculous. Has anyone out there figured out how to contact them and set them straight?

What kind of products have people out there ordered before they discovered that this company started showing up on their credit card statement? I know myself I ordered Lens Dr the liquid eyeglass repair stuff that you fix horrible scratches so you don't have to buy another pair of glasses. Since figuring this out I have probably spent that much because I didn't notice these charges until now. They are charging me 16.95 and have been since Feb. at least. I am so mad it is ruining my mother's day with my mom. She is sitting in the other room while I try and figure out how I can fix this problem but because it being Sunday no one is answering any phones even my credit card company. So I guess I will have to wait until tomorrow to flip out all over again.

DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY SCAM YOU

If you order something just order that product when they ask you if you want this and that say no. No special speedy delivery or anything besides the product at least that is how I think I got this charge on my account. Who knows I will never order anything online again.

Which stinks because I don't drive and this comes in handy occasionally.

Thanks for listening,
Kim

I just got this value thing in the mail yesterday and I left it on the table. My husband picked it up and asked about it, so I put the address in the computer and came to this. I called [protected] and got it cancelled before I was ever charged thanks to my nosy husband. I am so glad I came across this board first.

Sorry to all who didn't catch this in time

Kim

I also had the same problem you have to report what happened to consumer rights wc value plus. Todays escapes and hcpgold (healthcare privileges) get aceess to your card number illegally even though they may tell you that merchants share personal information, that is true but they cannot share card numbers only names address and phone number... so u need to call this number to make a complain (if there are enough complaints to these people they will investigate and take legal action against them) [protected] their website is www.fdic.gov/index.html... u should also cancel these subscriptions the number for wc value plus is [protected]... please make complains to this phone line cause they say they get the card numbers legally and that if they were doing something illegal they would be out of business. So please make the complain against them!

These ### called me on my cell phone and offered me a $40 dollar gas card. When I called to retrieve the gas card they stated they would send it. I then asked that they cancell out a membership that I never agreed to on 9/26/2007. Now my account has been charged 19.95 on 10/1/2007. I have cancelled my bankcard, notified the bank requesting an investigation for fraudulent charges and requested to be refunded my money. Be careful to everyone who happens to become victims of these [censored]es.

Hi. I had the same problem. For over a year they were taking this money out of my account, twice a month. Once for Value PLus and once for Explore USA. I called the number that my online banking showed next to the deduction [protected] ), and I got through to someone. She advised me that we must have ordered something over the TV, and that is how we got signed up. She said she would send me a refund request. She did! I sent it back to them certified mail, and before I even got the receipt back from the post office, I got an email saying that they were refunding my money. They said it sometimes takes two billing cycles to get back on my credit card, but since they had my bank card, it was back in within 24 hrs. This seems to be some kind of online discount service. Just be aware of what is going on when you order things off the TV. Make sure to tell the person on the phone you don't want any other things except what you are calling to buy. I hope this helps!

I just called today 9/20/07, to ask about this value plus, [protected]) they told me it was somekind of discount and that they would refund my $16.95. I have no idea what they were talking about and how in the world they got ahold of my bank account. They have been taking money from my bank for 3 months, I was blaiming my kids and it turned out it was a scam.

I've had a 19.95 charge from these people attached to my account for some time. I'm almost certain this is attached to a file-sharing client, UseNeXT. I thought I cancelled the subscription, but turns out this third agent WC VALUE PLUS didn't get the message. I'm going to try the number and come back here with an update!

YES, I KNOW HOW TO FIX IT! AT LEAST I KNOW HOW MY PARENTS FIXED IT! My parents had the same deal with WalMart.

Some 3rd party vendor (connected with Walmart somehow) charged my parents $140 a month for some strange service they never asked for. My parents got a Pre-Paid Legal Plan membership and OH MY GOSSSSSH! They put an end to the nonsense.

So cheap I got one, too, as a doctor's office was doing procedures on me on routine office visits that I thought were regular. They WEREN'T! I got a bill for $31,000! Insurance gradually covered some, but then stopped and suddenly the doctors were harassing me for $7000. I got Pre-Paid Legal membership, too, and they got the $7000 deleted within a WEEK!

Here is a good number to contact an actual person. [protected]

The lady I talked to was rude but she supposedly cancelled whatever account I apparently have. I told her I wanted my money refunded and she said she would mail me a form to fill out and mail back to another department who would then review my account and determine whether or not to reimburse me. ?! Not sure how they can justify not reimbursing someone for charges they fradulantly pulled from someone's account! In the mean time I am sending my bank a stop payment letter and they will make sure this company cannot deduct anything from my account for 6 months while I am disputing these charges. This is just ridiculous. When I asked how they got my information they said I probably bought something only from a joint company. ?!

Nobody at the phone # given is of any help in trying to get these things resolved, all they want is more of your information, but are unwilling to give out any of their info, so be careful about who you talk to, the people I talked to are tryst and her manager sandy but neither would give there I D # or last name!

Man, the same thing happened to me! $16.95 has been coming out of my credit card account for 6 months. After my husband tried for two months, and got the run around, to find out what company this was I called them. I ended up talking to a sixteen year old boy! That was their customer representative! And when I asked to speak to the supervisor... he hung up on me. Still trying to recoup the money we lost. Good luck to all that encounter this scam!

I had the same thing happen and didn't even know why or how I was getting the charge. I called my credit card company (VISA) and they told me that the best thing to do was to change the account number on my card so that they would not be able to charge me anymore for that charge. thank goodness.

I previously left a posting to this web site. I still agree that it is a ripoff. And though I am still very upset at the fact I did nothing to permit them from charging my credit card (I never talked to anyone nor ok'ed online), I have to say this. I was pleasantly surprised to see a reversal of the charges to my credit card last week. Though I never was contacted nor received a cancellation email I was told I would, it appears they have followed through and remove me from their account and refunded the payments they had charged my credit card. I am by no means taking up for them, but I thought it necessary to let all know that if you contact them, they will refund you your money. I hope it works for you. NOTE - so far I haven't been charged again and the date has passed in which they were placing the charge. I will be monitoring my accounts much more closely.

I was checking my balance in my credit card and I found that there was a charge of $14.95 of something I didn't even know where that came from, so I report it immediately to my bank as a fraud and they gave me their number that was showing on the transaction, I called to this number and they said that I was a member of WC Value Plus, so I said What! I have never sign up for such of membership so they are going to credit it back to my credit card. Called to this number -[protected] and stop them for charging you with something that you never sign up. Report this to the Department of Fraud of your credit card and they can give another credit card with a new account number so that will stop them from charging you money.

All I did was look at the site that popped up and now I find out they are going to deduct from my account! How can they do that without my card number? Something is terribly wrong and it's being done to all of us! This is a scam to the worst level.

Everyone please work together on this even if you have to cancel your card and get a new one issued. PLEASE SEE MY FIRST SUBMISSION THIS IS FRAUD ACCORDING TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL! Rip off a**holes! you can't access the website they give you for the gas vouchers or the walmart card. I will do all of us a favor. I am sending out bulk emails all over to alert others o this scam. I have reported them to the attorney general, which confirmed that this is illegal and is alerting other states of this scam. These ### told me they were charging my account $1, turned out to be 3 charges 2-$1 charges and a $9.95 charge which overdrafted the account costing another $32 times 3 du to my being out of town, not getting the letter from the bank. I also spoke of the possibility of a class action suit, which I should know about in a week or so. THIS IS CREDIT CARD FRAUD! CONFIRMED BY THE ATTORNEY GENERAL! please EVERYONE CONTACT YOUR LOCAL ATTORNEY GENERAL THE MORE COMPLAINTS THE BETTER. The mention of criminal charges were brought to my attention also from this office. They believe even with an agreement, that this would be possible due to the fact that they are getting credit/bank card info without any authority to do so. From these complaints you have all posted along with my own personal experience they are now being criminally investigated. These dik lickers won't be getting away with this much longer, and I hope they all rot in prison.

The company value plus has something to do with road side assistance and discounts. I never received the discounts nor the assistance. I think the bank is the one giving out the information to this company because i received a letter from value plus through my bank.

Hi,

I just found this site after noticing a $14.95 charge on my card for the past two months and am glad I did. My bank couldn't find a proper number for them for anything. While i don't FULLY agree with Ken, I will back up some of what he said. BTW, this does not mean this applies to everyone. I recently ordered something and the company in their fast talk said they were sending a coupon package that cost $1.00 for the 1st month and unless it was canceled it would be $14.95 a month there after. Now, I can't really tell you if that ever came because I quite honestly don't remember so that could be part of the scam or my fault. I did however call and it took 30 seconds to cancel this with no hick-ups. I can fully see how this can be a scam and the more I think about it, it really is. I mean, for $14.95 a month I should really see something more concrete or significant in my mail on a regular basis or better customer follow up. A "Hey we noticed you recently decided to join our company, welcome, be sure to look out for __." As is the American way not to do this i don't hold my breath though. I might call back and find out exactly what my 30 buck just went to and see if I can get that. I'll try to report back but like me, don't hold your breath for good news.

I to recently was suckered by this company. I figure it was o.k. to try and I got a free! Gas card and a free 25.00 visa card out of it. After three weeks and no paper work in the mail I called to cancel whatever these programs were before I got charged, they did cancel my accounts and so far I don`t have any other charges BUT last week my bank sent a letter saying a credit card payoff company had recently been hacked into and hundreds of card numbers were stolen, so I was being issued a new card.

This company is not a member of the BBB, How are they getting their information? There are over three hundred complaints on this site, how about all of the people who just take the loss, don`t see the charges, or don`t have a computer.

If this company is not a Member of the BBB and they can`t do anything Who Can?

WC Value Plus charged my credit card twice, but luckily I have Bank of America. I called the company and had them cancel my "subscription." They were so intrusive in asking me to verify my information. They asked for just about everything but my SSN. I was afraid that they were going to use my information and try to charge me again. I never signed up for anything AT ALL! Constantly scan your statements, if it looks funny, it probably is. If you don't recognize the vendor and its not in your city/state or whatever...call your credit card company as quickly as possible. Last thing you want is someone telling you they can't get you your money back.

I just discovered that I too was being billed $16.95 a month for the past three months from this company. Which I never signed up for their services. As for Mr. Ken Coffey's defending them, I figure he must work for them. If he received an account number, then he had to know he signed up. I, and take the majority of those responding, were never sent any information concerning accounts. We were just billed for the service for which we did not sign up for. I talked to a very nice lady. She said they will cancel my account. However as for a refund, because it came to $50.85 (.85 more than she could authorize), I supposedly will receive a form (in about 7 to ten days) that I have to fill out and send back. I am assuming that somewhere in the next 3 to 4 months, if at all, I will receive my refund of the money that was taken without my consent. You know, it never ceases to amaze me, that they can bill you in 2 minutes, but they can't credit you for weeks or months. Be careful when even just looking at free offers. I think that is how they got me. I purchased something on the internet which then said you get a free gift or something. Even though I backed out of the free gifts offer, they still took my credit card info from the item purchase and billed my account. Unfortunately I don't know what item this was attached to.

You people that are complaining about value plus are full of crap. The web sites that you say are not there are in fact there www.iexploreusa.com, www.valueplusonline.com and for the gift card goto www.valueplusonline.com/gcform or www.iexploreusa.com/gcform. Also the reason you were charged is because you failed to call and cancel the membership within the 30 day trial period. They explain everything to you on the phone numerous times before you except it. Also they can't charge your card unless you dial your birthday month and day into the phone to authorize the transaction. So how do you not know that you were charged. So if you fail to open the package that is an oversize envelope with value plus written right on the front that is your own fault, they also tell you that it will be arriving in about two weeks to look out for it and they also give you the 1800# on the phone before you hang up so you can call and cancel if your package don't arrive within two weeks. Go to the better business bureau and see for yourself that quality resources only had 54 complaints in the past three years and only 20 of them were not resolved because the person that filed the complaint did not respond so that they could be remedied, the other 34 were satisfied. This company processes thousands of orders a day so 20 complaints in three years is hardly nothing. So keep on complaining while thousands of people that use value plus are happy with it and are saving money. You have to realize that there are people out there that just like to complain and are trying to draw others into there little unhappy world. Misery loves company. Do some research before you listen to these people. Please. It's a good money saving program if you take advantage of it and utilize it properly. Also feel free to try the websites they said are not there and you will see that they are there. Your on the computer now so go ahead and check it out now. But you do need a member ID to gain access so if your not a member you cant go into the site. But you can clearly see that they are real. Thats all i have to say for now. Thank you for taking the time to check this out.

For 3 months now I have gotten a charge from WC Value Plus for 16.95. It has been taken off my debit card. I have not been able to locate them. I am thinking that the only way to deal with this is through my bank by placing a block on them for false charges.
