Dear Vodafone Customer Resolutions,
I am writing to formally dispute the alleged renewal of my two data contracts.
I did not provide verbal, written, or electronic consent to renew these contracts for a further 24-month term. We recently visited your branch in person after experiencing significant difficulty getting assistance telephonically, only to be informed that the contracts had supposedly already been renewed.
At no stage was the renewal properly discussed with me, agreed to by me, or authorised by me.
I specifically request the following:
1. Written proof of the alleged renewal consent.
2. Copies of any signed agreement or electronic acceptance.
3. Copies of any voice recordings if Vodafone claims telephonic consent was obtained.
4. Confirmation of the exact date and method by which the alleged renewal occurred.
My husband is self-employed and currently in the startup phase of his business with no stable income yet. We approached Vodafone in good faith simply trying to reduce unnecessary expenses and were shocked to discover we had allegedly been locked into a further two-year agreement without proper authorisation.
Should Vodafone be unable to provide valid proof of consent, we request:
* Immediate cancellation of the contracts without penalty; alternatively
* Conversion to month-to-month terms.
Please treat this as a formal consumer dispute and provide a written response within 10 business days.
Kind regards,
Craig Simpson
