On 11/29/24 (Black Friday) I went to a Verizon Store at 27905 Orchard Lake Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48334 & signed up for 2 new Business lines, WiFi service w/ gateway & purchase of an S24 & i16 Pro Max. As part of the Black Friday promotion they gave me $800 and $1,200 respectively in devise credits for the full value of both phones w/ 2 valid trade ins (both verified at time of delivery), $300 credit for 2 lines & WiFi, & $600 in free accessories bought at the store. On 12/13/25 I picked up the phones and gateway and purchased $718.83 of in-store accessories. I brought back the Gateway a couple days later because the WiFi service didn't work well enough in my house.
Despite many visits to the store, texts to and promises from the regional store supervisor, conversations and promises from Verizon Business Customer Service staff and complaints filed on line, I have not received any of the $800 in store credits for 2 new lines and $600 in in-store accessories, or almost any of the devise promo credit for the i16 Pro Max. In my Installment Loan Agreements it states I should receive $33.61/month for 3 years for the i16PM. I received $8.24 for a few months and then the entire offer was removed from my bill because, I was told, either the trade in wasn't valid despite being verified at the time of sale or the promo had a maximum value of $1,000 despite what the Installation Loan Agreement states.
I have been told by Verizon customer sales reps and a manager that Verizon would back the offers made by the store, even if they were done incorrectly at the time, as long as I make a good faith effort to get the store to resolve the issue a their end first. After 10 months of trying to get the store and Verizon Business to honor the offers made on 11/29/24 I am now demanding that corporate Verizon credit my account $800 in store credits and the $33.61/mth for 36 months for device credit backdated to purchase as required in the Installment Loan Agreement.
Claimed loss: Approx $1,150 in unpaid and now suspended devise credit, $200 in new business line credits offered by store and $600 in accessory credit offer by store for a total of $1,950 in credits.
Desired outcome: I am now demanding that corporate Verizon credit my account $800 in store credits and the $33.61/mth for 36 months for device credit backdated to purchase as required in the Installment Loan Agreement.
