VCA Animal Hospitals review: irresponsible pet care services

My cat was returned to me after her annual physical and shots covered in her own urine & fecal matter. !

She is very, very nervous whenever she visits the animal hospital for her check- up and shots. In the past, she has soiled herself during a nail trimming due to her fear. She is cleaned up and put back in her carrier cleaned up. Not this time!

The tech gave her back to me, advised what happened and stated she was cleaned up best they could. I did not discover how poorly a job they did until I brought into the car. She was soaked with urine and poop was matted on her fur. I had a late afternoon appointment on a Saturday so must presume the office was in a rush to close.

I am VERY upset with VCA and find how she was treated is unacceptable and cruel. I will have her medical records transferred to another animal hospital due to this unprofessional behavior.
