I booked a flight ticket for my mother through eDreams, including a cancellation insurance. I canceled the flight in time, but despite the insurance, I never received any refund. During the ticket purchase, an eDreams Prime subscription was apparently activated automatically without my clear consent. Because of that, I was charged additional annual fees that I only noticed much later.
In total, I paid the following amounts without receiving any service:
– €273.51 (flight ticket)
– €99.99 (Prime subscription 2024)
– €119.99 (Prime subscription 2025)
It is very concerning that the cancellation was not processed properly and that the subscription was added without transparent confirmation. This experience was disappointing and costly for a service I never used.
