There is a problem with what is listed on my transaction history and what direct express sees on theirs. Twice I made a grocery order from Walmart at the end of the year. According to my direct express transaction history, the purchase was correctly charged at the end of December but incorrectly charged a second time the first week of January. I tried for a very long time to resolve this previous occurrence because it was over 400 dollars. Neither direct express nor Walmart would resolve it and neither would issue a refund. It literally just happened again, and I am getting the same general advice. Yet again I have to explain that it is already posted, not pending, and all the extra math they are telling me is not listed. I can easily tell a pending from a posted and a deposit or refund from a charge. This person shouted over me. And like previous so-called customer service agents they promised me a copy of what they see, you know, that thing that tells them they don't have to refund me. But when they promised this before it never arrived so I am not holding out hope. Whether it is walmart, direct express, a display problem, new year glitch or employee theft I dont care. What I care about is it looks like I was charged twice on two occasions and they refuse to fix anything.
Recommendation: if you have other options, take it
It is such an injustice that the Federal government puts their trust in such a crappy, broken system within Direct express's itself and to put the most vulnerable, mostly low income people that rely solely on these funds to eat, buy necessary items to keep alive, entrusted with our money It is ludacrist. I absolutely HATE direct express! Out of the 50 or more customer service reps Ive dealt with only one (1) has been nice and helpful. THEY ALL SUCK...THE BISUNESS SUCKS. WHAT IS WRONG WITH OUR GOVERNMENT? OH YEA...TRUMP IS IN OFFICE! HATE HATE HATE DIRECT EXPRESS. BULLIES, THEIVES, AND LITERAL [censored]!
